The University is ideally located in the city centre, which has excellent car, bus and rail links as well as superb local amenities.
Glasgow Caledonian University provides one of the best learning environments in the UK. The hub of the campus is the striking Saltire Centre. The 10,500 sq m, five-floor centre offers 1,800 internet-connected study spaces, 600-seat learning cafe, 370,000 RFID-tagged books, 500 computers, laptops borrowing facility and free Wi-Fi.

The Base is a one-stop student services mall offering careers guidance, funding information, counselling service, the academic registry, disability services, international advisory support, spiritual care and ICT.

The University library includes over 350,000 books and over 12,000 online journals. There are self-service machines for issuing and returning books and other material on every level from zero to four. Archives, Centre for Political Song, Heatherbank Museum of Social Work and Special Collections are the four parts of Research Collections that are drawn together to act as a cross-domain unit.

Arc offers students, a huge range of classes and health and fitness facilities at affordable membership rates. Facilities at Arc include two state-of-the-art gyms, wide range of fun classes for all fitness levels, two multi-purpose halls for football, badminton, basketball and other sports, a large dance studio and sports clubs for cricket, basketball, badminton and martial arts.

The University's catering operation provides a diverse catering service to over 15,000 students and 1,600 members of staff. As the largest single student refectory in Scotland, it seats 900 people and offers a wide range of menus including Asian.

Alumni ambassadors help students should they require practical advice on what to expect when they arrive at Caledonian and how to make the most of their time at the University.

Accommodation: The University can normally guarantee accommodation at Caledonian Court residences to international students entering their first year of study in September. Situated across the road from the University campus, Caledonian Court offers modern, self-catering accommodation consisting of 100 flats and houses 660 students.

Indian Social group: The Indian Social group (ISG) at Glasgow Caledonian University is a student organisation on campus working towards propagating the culture, traditions and arts of India here in Scotland. ISG, founded in 2006, has about 130 active members to help and support the Indian students at the University.
