The Academy Awards were last night, so that means its time to pick out some of the night's best dressed. Here are some of our top picks:

Jennifer Lopez wore this tiered Armani Prive dress. Not too sure about the messy hair (that Sarah Jessica Parker also wore) but the dress is definitely a show-stopper.

Going along with the "bigger is better" dress trend was actress Amanda Seyfried, also in Armani Prive.

Zoe Saldana wore this purple Givenchy gown. It's definitely a risk with the slit, frilly bottom and sparkling bodice all in one dress - but Zoe pulled it off and looked great.

Queen Latifah also looked fab in her lavender one shoulder gown.

Nicole Ritchie gave us a fab look in a backless Reem Acra dress.

I thought Kate Winslet's look was pretty and polished loved the old Hollywood glam hair. She wore Yves Saint Laurent.

Demi Moore went for the ruffled look in a dress by Elizabeth Banks.

Rachel McAdams chose this printed Elie Saab dress for the red carpet.

I (Whitney W) recently visited NYC again - one of my favorite cities. One special part of my trip I would like to share with you is my trip to the Fred Flare store (my second time visiting). I have always loved the cute and funny novelty items they sell, so I had to make sure I made a trip to their store again this time. I came on a great day: they had secret message cards hidden around the store with percentages off of purchases. I got lucky and found some so they wanted to take my picture. I also met 2 of the ladies that work there - they were very nice. I told them about the blog and they ended up mentioning it on their site along with posting my picture! Images from Rihanna's new video "Rude Boy" leaked a little earlier this week and the full video soon followed. She is (as always) giving us major fashion. The video, directed by Melina, is much more colorful than her previous videos and brings back her Carribean inspired vibe (We also noticed the video may have been inspired by one of M.I.A.'s videos). Here are just a few looks from the video - including some of the exact pieces she wore in the clip. In one scene she is wearing Alexander McQueen's Geometric print leggings and the top from the Lisa Marie Fernandez Leigh bustier bikini. Trend Report: 2010 Grammy Awards

Now that the Grammys have come and gone, time for a recap of all the red carpet trends of the big night. First up are two of my favorite looks of the night coming from Keri Hilson in Dolce & Gabbana and Beyonce in Stephane Rolland. Both in beige, they looked beautiful in these curve-hugging mermaid gowns.

Up next are Pink and Melody Thornton wearing the ombre trend. Pink wore a tiered John Varvatos gown that graduated in color from silver to black. Melody's two-toned gown started at silver and faded to a pale pink.

Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez stood out in white dresses. Rihanna's off-white Elie Saab gown featured an open back and chiffon detail down the front. Jennifer's Versace dress was shorter and silver on one side.

More trends from the night inside...

R&B divas Melanie Fiona and Jennifer Hudson chose to wear classic black to the big show. Melanie's mermaid gown was a great look for her. Jennifer wore a shorter look with matching tights and tall YSL heels.

Singers Ashanti and Katy Perry chose these embellished gowns for the night. Ashanti looked fab in this bronze dress with a long train. Katy got inspiration for her beaded gown from a recent trip to India.

These ladies decided to add color to the red carpet: Mary J Blige in Gucci, Taylor Swift in Kaufman Franco and Fergie in Pucci.

Can't forget about the guys! Common, John Legend and Kid Cudi all decided that gray suits were fit for the big show.

Trey Songz and Ne-Yo went in all black, while Usher switched it up in a tan suit with checkered shirt.

Pastry Shoe Icons Vanessa and Angela Simmons Donate To Haiti Earthquake Victims

Celebrity sisters and Pastry shoe brand entrepreneurs, Vanessa and Angela Simmons, announced their commitment to provide assistance through official Haiti earthquake relief efforts. The powerful earthquake struck Haiti on January 12 and was centered about 15-miles from the nation’s capital, Port Au Prince, causing an estimated 100,000 deaths countrywide.

With nearly 50 percent of Haiti’s population under the age of 18, a donation of Pastry shoes, as well as clothing, will be delivered to the local children. “Being able to give Pastry shoes and clothes to these kids during such a devastating and critical time is our way of helping and showing support when it’s needed most,” shared Angela Simmons.

Contributors to the creation of the popular and successful Pastry brand, the Simmons’ humanitarian efforts will help fulfill the needs of Haiti’s youth who have had their homes destroyed and are without shelter. Vanessa Simmons stated, “We can all do something to help. Pastry has chosen to give Haiti’s kids who are displaced and vulnerable to this heart-breaking situation. We pray that they will overcome this unfortunate and horrible tragedy.”

Working in conjunction with the American Red Cross, Pastry’s donation of sneakers and apparel

addresses the urgent need to aid earthquake survivors who have lost their belongings. For children seeking shelter and protection from the elements, the Pastry shoe donation offers sustenance and warmth.

“We’re encouraging all Pastry shoe fans and loyalists to contribute and donate to the Haiti earthquake relief efforts,” responded Vanessa. “If each of us do our part, we can make a big difference together,” concluded Angela.

Pastry will continue its corporate social responsibility by actively monitoring developing outcomes in Haiti and adjusting future donations accordingly. “You don’t just give and call it a day,” claimed Angela. “Watching and learning about other ways that we can help, especially in this time of need, is just part of doing the right thing for others.”

Who Got WHIT The Look Best: Rihanna or Jennifer Lopez?

This time we spotted 2 fashion icons wearing the same Gucci cotton scuba cut out dress. Rihanna most recently appears in the dress on her new W magazine cover. Jennifer Lopez wore the dress late last year during the American Music Awards.

So we ask, Who Got Whit the Look Best? Besides the hairstyle choices, not much else is different. They both chose to accessorize similarly, wearing a diamond cuff bracelet and long diamond earrings. Not sure what shoes either of them wore with the dress, but I'm sure that would make it easier to pick a winner. As far as makeup, Rihanna went with bold red lips and defined cheeks, whereas Jennifer chose to play up her eyes with a smokey look and nude lips.
