Sofi-Nummer (sociaal-fiscaalnummer = Sozialversicherungsnummer), eine personengebundene Identifikationsnummer, die für jeden Steuerpflichtigen von dem so genannten Belastingendienst (Finanzamt) vergeben wird. Diese Nummer verschlüsselt keine Informationen desjenigen, für den sie erstellt wurde. Für Studenten ist diese Nummer wichtig, wenn sie in Deutschland wohnen und die Studienfinanzierung der Niederlande beantragen bzw. In NL arbeiten. <br />Seit Nov. 2007 wurde diese Sofi-Nummer ersetzt durch die sog. BSN-Nummer.
