Yankees Win the 2009 World Series…Parade Tomorrow!!

So while Phillies fans are off sulking somewhere, New Yorkers have been celebrating Obama style since the Yankees won the World Series last night in game 6. The ticker tape parade celebrating this glorious occassion will take place tomorrow (Friday) morning.

The parade will begin on Broadway at Battery Place at 11 a.m. and continue uptown along the financial district’s Canyon of Heroes to Chambers Street. There will be a ceremony at City Hall Plaza, where Mayor Michael Bloomberg will present the Bronx Bombers with the Keys to the City.

For all of you who are still slaves to your jobs (sorry), you can catch the parade from your desk by watching the live streaming video on myfoxny.com.
