If you’ve been around for long and have been trying to find the perfect beat making program you know that there are basically two types of beat programs. There’s the type that produce cheap sounding quality that only your mother would be proud of, and there’s the professional quality programs that will cost you a whole lot of money and you’ll have to spend months to figure out if you can before you throw your hands up in frustration.

You want to make music, and you want to do it now with results you can take to clubs or sell to producers with pride, but not break the bank doing it.

Well, let me tell you that there’s now a way to do just that.

Dr. Drum Beat Making software has everything you need and you won’t have to eat Ramen Noodles for the rest of your life to pay for it either. Better yet, this affordable software will make your music shine, and create the work that you can really use as a professional musician.

- Special effects to create unique sounds
- Drag and drop import ability to bring in your own sounds

Get The Knowledge You Need To Maximize Your Exposure

2013-07-24T15:39:00.003-07:00

First and foremost the worst thing to do is put up online profiles and wait for fans to come to you. There are a lot of internet music promotion tools out there so try not to get caught up in the drop and wait game. That will cause you to lose interest in the music you just put out 2 weeks ago and look to make more music and do it all over again. 90% of up and coming artists get caught up in this and do it again and again and then eventually give up. You have to push that one song or mixtape until 10,000 people at least have heard it. If you don't have 10,000 REAL plays on your mixtape then it is like it was never released.

Before you even put out a song you should have a budget and strategy in mind. There should be at least $500 available to pay for online promotion I know it isn't much but it is a start. Once you have it in your mind I really want to make it happen it is time to put everything else to the side and get real. Promotion should come before that 10 dollar bag of weed, sneakers, partying etc. Music should be your number one priority your habits must wait if you can put that in your mind you wont regret it when it works.

To reach the people that are looking for you to reach them you need to target your fans. Targeted promotion reaches people in a certain niche, keyword or area. Twitter is the best place to target promote because they still allow keyword searches. You can type in hip hop and find a bunch of people talking about hip hop so this promotion is very effective. It is also great to give something for free that will always get someones attention. The free gift can't be a download either if it is people won't bother to open your link and it is time waisted. Think about it someone is trying to get you to listen to their music will you listen just because the download is free I think not.

Interaction is key when it comes to attracting fans on Social Media. You need to give them value to keep them interested in what you are doing. Video record your studio sessions and your day to day while your on the grind. Show them more than hey my name is MC Masta Blasta and here is my new album that will not work with people. Put your album link in your Youtube tie it through Twitter and Facebook and have all that info linked to your website. Your website should be your main hub you are promoting and it should be exciting and fun. People should go to your site and not mind staying there for a little while be creative and the fans will come.

The Conjuring "The Truth Behind The Horror is #1

2013-07-19T11:44:00.002-07:00

This weekend, Ryan Reynolds will face himself at the box office (R.I.P.D. vs. Turbo), and Mary Louise Parker will too (Red 2 vs. R.I.P.D.), but neither star is likely to walk away with the No. 1 film. That distinction should belong to newcomer The Conjuring, which is scaring up huge pre-release buzz thanks to an extra-creepy marketing campaign. Here’s how I think the box office might look this weekend:

James Wan has made a name for himself in the horror genre with Sawand Insidious, two well-made projects that surprised box office analysts and critics alike. And he got a huge profile boost when he was named the director of the upcoming Fast & Furious 7. Thus, it’s no surprise that Wan’s latest project, The Conjuring, is arriving in theaters with heightened expectations. Of course, the film’s incredibly effective trailer — an extended scene that finds Lili Taylor playing hide-and-seek — has made it a buzzy release too.

The Warner Bros. film has whipped the Internet into a frenzy (though, asPacific Rim proved, that’s not always a sign of box office dominance), and an R-rating will keep younger teens at bay. Still, The Purge‘s $34.1 million debut in May proves that R-rated horror can be appealing counter-programming in a summer stuffed with blockbusters. Out in 2,903 theaters,The Conjuring may scare up about $32 million this weekend.

This movie has sparked a big following on Twitter and Facebook as well. This movie is a must see.

Reasons Why You Should and Shouldn't Buy Twitter Followers

2013-07-18T18:51:00.003-07:00

Why You Should Buy Followers

Even if you have fake followers the clout that comes with a high following is very real. A boost in Twitter followers can transform a garage band into a star, a small business into an authoritative source. People have even been hired for job positions due to their high Twitter following, since the number serves as a representation of how powerful your online word can be.

Once real users see your Twitter numbers rising they will be likely to follow you as well. If someone claims to be an expert food critic but only has 23 followers, most will think that the only food they are judging is their mothers mac and chesse. If that number is 5,000 they appear more reputable as someone that people will be more likely to follow. This means your Twitter robot followers are actually generating real followers as a result of your imagined prestige.

It is a lot easier to buy followers than to earn them. Gaining a real Twitter following takes time and effort you need to consistently be sharing great content, posting hilariously witty remarks, or broadcasting the latest news.

You can put in that effort or you can buy a large sum of Twitter followers for an extremely low price.

Business start ups, celebrities, and politicians alike have been known to buy more Twitter followers, it is a common practice for those who have something to gain from amassing a large number of followers in a short period of time. Listen to this 71% of Lady Gaga's over 35 million followers are fake or inactive, President Obama's has nearly 30 million followers and 70% are fake but it was necessary to get people to follow.

If the President has fake Twitter followers, it can't be all that bad, right?

While purchasing fake Followers is against Twitter's terms it's completely legal.

Why You Shouldn't Buy Followers

You're not really buying Twitter followers they are mindless robots. You will not have any interaction or engagement with these robot accounts. All of the fake Twitter followers in the world won't do much to raise your Klout score. Social media influence scores tend to look at interaction and Twitter engagement rather than sheer numbers, so you won't be getting added SEO or influnce bonus with the inflated metric.

The best thing to do is buy Targeted Twitter Followers This will increase the visibility of your brand and drive real traffic to whatever it is your promoting. This will also guarantee that you keep REAL Twitter followers and build a true fan base.

Getting Paid for Online Surveys - It's Easier Than You Think

2013-07-18T17:05:00.001-07:00

Getting paid for online surveys. It sounded too good to be true. And yet my friend Sarah told me that she was doing just that – and earning a modest but helpful amount every week.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve seen those ads about getting paid for online surveys, and thought that it was all rubbish. Who would want to pay for my opinions? It turns out that a lot of big, respectable companies are anxious to do just that. Sarah explained that market research is really important major companies like General Foods, Coca Cola and Walmart. They need to keep on top of what consumers are thinking about their products and services. And they’re prepared to pay people like us to tell them what they think of the things that they make, and the things that they are developing.

I really liked the sound of that. Speaking out and giving my opinion is not something which comes hard to me! And I thought it would be good to be involved in developing new ideas. Sarah told me sometimes she gets samples of new products to try, and then has to report back on what she thinks. I was really interested in doing that.

She told me the best company to join was Survey Junkie. I found that Opinion Outpost was a good one as well.

I knew that there were a lot of companies who were scamming people in the online survey business. But because Sarah had done her research, she just passed along the names of the companies which she has found are good to do business with. I signed up with all of them – all of them were free to join, which was a big plus for me.

Soon, offers of surveys were arriving in my email inbox. The first one was about shoes – one of my pet subjects! I sat down and completed it in around half an hour. Sure enough, a Paypal payment arrived in my account just a few days later. I had managed to get paid for online surveys – well, at least one!

As the day went by, I received more survey offers. You have to get in quick on the higher paying ones, because they only need a limited number of to respond. And some surveys offer entry into a draw, rather than cash. One company I use gives you points, which you can exchange for gifts.

Although I’m not going to get rich doing surveys online, it’s fun, and it’s bringing me a little income which really helps to stretch our family’s budget. And guess what – I was one of the lucky ones, and I just won a week cruise to the Caribbean. I’m taking Paula with me as a thank you for introducing me to so many great online survey companies.
