Two scientists, Paul Weinzweig and Pauline Zalitzki, working off the coast of Cuba in a submersible robot, have confirmed that there is a huge city on the ocean floor. The site of the ancient city – including several sphinxes and at least four giant pyramids and other structures – surprisingly is within the boundaries of the legendary Bermuda Triangle.
According to journalist Luis Mariano Fernandez the city was first discovered decades ago, but all access to her was arrested during and after the Missile Crisis. “The U.S. government discovered the alleged place during the Missile Crisis Cuba in the sixties, nuclear submarines cruising structures found (in the deep sea) with a pyramid in the Gulf. Immediately shut down the site and took control of it and objects, so that will not reach the hands of the Russians. “

It would have to be in the Bermuda Triangle, wouldn’t it?
It is a shame that the discoverers immediately jump to calling this find Atlantis as that will almost certainly detract from their credibility and the involvement of reputable archaeologists to begin work on learning the actual history of this location. And despite the headlines that a giant sphinx has been found I have yet to locate an image to support that claim. Likewise claims of a written language engraved on surfaces and a pyramid larger than that of Cheops in Giza, capped by a huge crystal (straight out of Atlantean New Age lore)

That the article states this discovery was made in the 1960′s and left unexplored in all this time makes me suspicious of its validity.

Cuban Missile Crisis Halts Research

The scientific team of experts from the ocean, oceanographers and archaeologists found ruins of ancient buildings of 183 meters below the ocean. They say the city is Atlántida.

Atlantis or not, if this discovery proves true, it is of significant value and I only hope it is given the serious study it deserves.

It certainly was a busy and muggy day at a feverish Tokyo airport one day in 1954. Those passengers who had just deplaned stood in a somber queue, waiting for the Customs agents to review and properly stamp their passports.
As the hordes passengers spill out from the terminals, one passenger, a tall mysterious man, stood apart from the rest.

The man presented an authentic looking European passport and carried European currency from several countries and carried himself in a professional manner but that wasn’t what alerted the authorities. No matter how much they had searched, the Customs agents could not find the European country that had issued him the passport anywhere in their maps. The unheard country of Taured. When they asked the Caucasian man to point on their map where Taured was located, he answered them in fluent Japanese. The man told them that it was a small country in Europe, nestled between France and Spain. When the agents produced a map, he pointed to where the Principality of Andorra, Spain, rests.

The mysterious man took a step back when he realized his country did not exist on any of the maps. He claimed that the country of Taured has been there for almost 1,000 years and that he has never heard of Andorra. He produced a driver’s license issued by the government of Taured and accompanying documents such as bank statements and business papers but they were found to be invalid, alongside his bank account. There was an eerie silence in the interrogation room as all of the Customs agents stared at the new arrival. The tall mysterious man from Taured looked as confused as they were.

The Arrival

It had been nine years since the end of World War II and Tokyo was busier than ever. The city began to sprawl as more and more countries landed . Most of the travelers to the Island country found themselves in long queues waiting to get their passport stamped and allowed entry into the country. Life in Japan was returning to normal except of course for the high strangeness that was going on inside the Customs interrogation room.

Eight hours after landing, the mysterious man from Taured sat tired and frustrated in the cramped interrogation room. He kept insisting that he was from the country of Taured and was in Japan on a business trip. The man told the officials that he had been traveling to Japan from Taured for the last five years without problems. He pointed to the past stamps that were issued on his passport to prove that he’d been traveling back and forth from Taured to Japan without any problems in the past.

Airport officials then placed a phone call to the company the man claimed to work for and found that it did not exist. Tired and getting nowhere, they decided to send the man to a guarded hotel room so that he could rest while the proper authorities were contacted and a follow-up investigation was planned. The mystery man left the Tokyo airport escorted by police and Customs officials.

Vanished!

He was placed inside a hotel room high above the hustling city streets. With only a small window and no ledge. After a light dinner at the hotel’s kitchen, he was escorted back to his room where he stayed the entire night. The guards reported not seeing or hearing him after the door was closed. When morning approached, they knocked and received no answer. Upon entering the room they officials were shocked to discover that he had vanished. With no possible escape routes other than the well guarded front door, Japanese officials scratched their heads in total bewilderment.

An extensive search was subsequently launched by the Tokyo police department only to come up empty handed. There was no sign of him anywhere. As mysteriously as he had appeared on that Tokyo airport that fateful day in 1954, the man from Taured vanished.

Just a story?

The story appeared in the book “The Directory of Possibilities”, Colin Wilson & John Grant [Corgi Paperback, 1982. ISBN: 0-552-119946].

No one knows for certain if this was a factual account. No documents or newspaper clippings exist other than what was written by Colin Wilson and John Grant.

In the story of ‘The Man from Taured’ we learn that an European visitor to Tokyo seems to be caught between two worlds. One of which the man’s reality seems similar to ours, except of course for the country that doesn’t exist. At least in our world. Taured exists in no map, yet the man carried official documentation to prove otherwise. So what really happened in that muggy Tokyo airport in 1954?

Could the man from Taured have been a traveler caught between a wormhole? One that sent him unknowingly into our dimension. An alternate universe in which things played out entirely different. A world that lived under the control of the Axis side.

Another explanation is that the man from Taured was telling the truth. As far as he was concerned, he came from the country of Taured. He’s always known of his country to exist, and had never heard of The Principality of Andorra before seeing it printed on the Japanese world map. As far as he was concerned, everyone had to be playing a prank on him. However we all know that Andorra clearly has existed for quite some time and that the Allies won the war. So could this man be a spy for some dark government agency sent on a mission to Japan? A brainwashed spook that was given a false identity alongside all documentation to make him believe.

The Principality of Andorra has certainly had a long history with war and politics, so that explanation wouldn’t be such a stretch.

What happened inside that Tokyo airport we may never know. One thing is for certain, strange things happen every single day.

Back in 2008 some predictions were made by a team of the top, military trained “remote viewers” – each with over a decade of successful service.

The video goes on to discus how the military is utilizing remote viewers in place of the more complex and expensive technology of, say, thermometers to monitor climate change around the world. Don’t feel like this is a spoiler, it isn’t. The best, and the END are yet to be revealed.

So world governments have prepared for a cataclysmic meteor strike to happen BY 2013 (so it should have happened already, right?).
They are preparing for the massive tidal waves by never once having held an evacuation drill in any coastal city or other populated area.
They are preparing for increased solar radiation caused by this meteor (?) by handing out sunscreen the same way they make sure there is enough flu vaccine.
And digging huge underground projects in places that are difficult for the population to reach.
Wouldn’t you think that underground survival bunkers would be better located in places that are above the flooding but really pretty easy to get to otherwise? So people CAN get to them.

China is building reinforced subways in its major cities. Really? I am not even going to research if this is true. Here’s why. Most of China’s major cities are on or near enough to it’s coast or major rivers that if massive tsunamis are caused by a huge meteor strike, the last place you should want to be is trapped underground in one of those cities! Especially when (political issues aside) You Own Tibet! You know, in the Himalayas, at high altitude. They call it the roof of the world for a reason. Even Roland Emmerich got that idea right.

Meanwhile in Moscow… one of the world power capitals that is farthest from any large body of water (928 miles from Riga, Latvia on the coast of the Baltic is about the closest) they are building bomb shelters to protect the population? From Flooding?

NO! Because while The Weather Channel cannot accurately tell me if it is going to rain on Wednesday, NASA has predicted unprecedented solar flare activity and yet keeps sending people to the ISS for classic rock performances. Solar flares happen in cycles, by the way, and are somewhat predictable, but not more so than is being proposed here and severity is still a crap shoot.

The video asks, “Could the remote viewing predictions be correct?”

No they are dead wrong. There has never been any evidence to support remote viewing as anything other than a few lucky guesses well within statistical probability and only wishful thinking says otherwise, while revisionist analysis in hindsight, provided by the seers themselves offers the only news of successes.

Central to this particular story is The Farsight Intitute headed by “Dr” Courtney Brown and his lovely assistant Prudence. Prudence Calabrese who after implication in hoaxes and lies while a part of Farsight, left TFI and formed her own now defunct organization Trans-dimensional Systems.

The Farsight Institute has been offering its Non-Prophet services since 1995, and only in 2008 did it begin its research into global climate change. Way to get ahead of the curve there guys! How come you didn’t say anything about this BEFORE anyone else?

However, their remote viewing of Atlantis has located pictures of the lost continent on Google Earth which have been posted by people who simply spent the time to look there.

And since the successful completion of that course, Dr. Brown has successfully attempted to perpetrate a fraud regarding a planet sized UFO following along in the wake of the Hale Bopp comet.

On January 14, 1997 a photo attributed to a “mystery astronomer” and purporting to show a “companion object” near Comet Hale-Bopp was posted on the web sites of radio personality Art Bell and author Whitley Strieber. This was the long-awaited photo given to Bell and Strieber by remote viewer Dr. Courtney Brown, first mentioned by Brown and his Farsight Institute employee Prudence Calabrese on Art Bell’s nationally syndicated radio program on November 29, 1996 [see CNI News vol 2, no. 18 of Dec 1]. On that show, Brown and Calabrese claimed that remote viewing of Hale-Bopp showed the companion object to be huge and “sentient,” possibly a “planet-sized spacecraft.” They also said they believed the “mystery astronomer” would come forward within a few weeks to confirm the existence of the companion.

However, just one day after the photo was posted, it was shown to be a hoax, casting grave suspicion on the “mystery astronomer” and on the remote viewing efforts of the Farsight Institute. The fraudulent nature of the photo was demonstrated on James Neff’s Enigma web site, www.anc.net/~neff/fake.html.

In March of 1997 the Heaven’s Gate UFO Doomsday cult committed suicide.

On March 26, 1997, police discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group who had committed mass suicide in order to reach what they believed was an alien space craft following the Comet Hale–Bopp, which was at its brightest.

Courtney Brown claims he received the image anonymously from an “astronomer” (because in astronomy when you discover an object you really don’t want it named after you) and continued to defend his predictions afterward despite no further evidence of any such object ever manifested.

In 1998 Prudence Calabrese, offered a confession regarding the practices she had observed at Farsight which is excerpted here.

“I am writing this to confess my sins: bad science and bad judgement. I will make no case to exonerate myself. As a person who is quite capable of making intelligent decisions, and as a person trained in the sciences, I am embarrassed at the way I have failed my friends, my fellow remote viewers, and my scientific upbringing.

“What I participated in over the course of a year and a half was nothing less than the manipulation of the public’s mind, not by outright lying, but by the selective representation, improper analysis, and overblown presentation style of remote viewing data.

“It does not matter that I never had the intention of misleading the public. It does not matter that I was carried away by what I, myself, had ‘seen’ during remote viewing. It does not matter that I was a student of remote viewing, involved in a learning process. It does not even matter that I, in as vocal a way as possible within the confines of my employment, spoke openly about the problems inherent in targeting the unverifiable, and drawing conclusions from the data obtained.

“I failed in my moral responsibility to let the public know exactly what was occurring with the data on esoteric targets publicly presented by The Farsight Institute (under the direction of Dr. Courtney Brown).

“The data are both flawed and incomplete.

“All of those esoteric ‘special projects’ done at Farsight, and still linked to in the ‘Sessions’ section of The Farsight Institute Web Site were done under one or more of the following less-than-optimal conditions:

1. Semi-blind sessions, where the monitor knows the target and the viewer does not. All sessions where the monitor knew what the target was are flawed, due to the potential (and likelihood) for telepathic overlay, subtle leading by the monitor, and leading by cuing from the monitor.

2. Selective presentation (in ALL projects), where only the sessions that the analyst feels are “on target” are presented. Others that have opposing viewpoints, or data not consistent with the analyst’s interpretation of the data are discarded. In some cases, the analyst was also a viewer!

3. Leading Cuing, where the tasker makes an assumption and names the unverifiable thing in the target cue. Example: “Martians under Santa Fe Baldy (current time)” or “Anomalous object near Hale-Bopp comet.” How can such sessions provide objective data? If the cue says Martians, then Martians the student viewers will find.

4. Deep analytical overlay, due to strong ideas on the part of the analyst about what should or should not be in the data.

5. Methods and procedures that changed on a sometimes daily basis, without the benefit of looking at the comparative results from a selection of controlled sessions, before something was implemented Institute-wide.

“The truth of the matter is this: we do not understand, yet, what occurs in remote viewing when the subject matter is unverifiable. I personally believe that ‘extraterrestrials’ exist in some form and have been interacting with humanity for eons. I personally believe that there may have been Martians on Mars. I personally believe in the possibility of many things that I can not prove. I want to search for the truth behind these things, and I will use remote viewing to assist me in some way. I will not, however, use remote viewing as the answer to anything. It is just one more tool that we, as conscious human beings on the planet Earth, possess.”

Prudence Calabrese has since disappeared from the public and even presumably the remote eye. She did come forward after September 11th and claim, in typical psychic fashion, to have predicted the attack back in 1997 while still part of Farsight.

Despite claims in the video that the predictions of a catastrophic collision with the Earth ( which should have happened by now, or at least the object become visible to the naked eye ) come from military trained  remote viewers, all the predictions seem to come from Courtney Brown and the Farsight Institute, which by the confession of its one time Vice President employs considerably less than rigorous methods. Brown himself was not trained by the military but by PSI TECH in a rigorous course that lasts longer than a week!

While stepping outside for a breath of fresh air, a gentlemen named Arthur Sollitt happen to notice a holy doolie of a sight in the skies above his Booval residence.

This was something he’d never witnessed before but he’d take a bloody oath that it was fair dinkum. Not wanting to lose the plot, he grabbed his trusty video camera and started shooting the strange object. It was a fair suck of the sav as it glowed green and white in the night sky.

At one point a Shelia out on a walkabout saw Arthur with his camera and stopped to look. London to a brick that she had seen the UFO before. So, now we have two witnesses and of course, the video:

Amazing, isn’t it? huh? Isn’t it? If you haven’t caught on yet, I’ll fill you in void of anymore Aussie slang.

If you were paying attention to Arthur as he was narrating, there was a moment where he speculated as to what it might be. I think Arthur was more spot on than even he realized.

It took me all of 1 minute to locate another video with a similar UFO, and another, and still another. In fact, there was enough to post at least six here, but I think I can wrap this up with just one. However, for those who are difficult to convince, I’m inclined to throw up two, just for them.

Well, need I say more? Seems our poor bloke Arthur saw nothing more than an LED equipped RC airplane.

Hey, at least we can mark another UFO off the list! I’d definitely call this one SOLVED.

In 1526, conquistador Hernán Cortés wrote a letter to Spanish Emperor Charles V detailing a city filled with gold that lay at an unknown location in what is now the Mosquitia region of Honduras – a 32,000 square mile chunk of land that remains virtually unexplored. Cortés and other conquistadors searched for the city throughout the 1500s, but never found it, and the region remained unconquered by Europeans. Since then, a mix of treasure hunters and scientific expeditions have yielded findings that have fueled the legend of the lost city.

Possibly the first archeological expedition was performed in 1933 when archeologist William Duncan Strong explored the region for the Smithsonian Institution. The expedition included areas in the Bay Island Department of Honduras as well as areas in the Mosquitia region of Honduras and Nicaragua. In his field journal he recorded the existence of archeological mounds, among many the Wankibila or Guanquivila mounds on the banks of the Rio Patuca and the Floresta Mounds on the banks of the Rio Conquirre.

In the same year, the first complete map of Honduras was published by Honduran Professor Jesus Aguilar Paz. Aguilar Paz started his cartographic expedition in 1915. In his map, he registered several archeological ruins in the Mosquitia region.

In 1940, American adventurer Theodore Morde claimed to have found a “lost city of the monkey god” in the region, where native people worshiped large monkey statues. Morde was killed in a car crash before he could secure funding to explore the area more fully.

A 1976 expedition by David Zink and Edwin Shook was filmed by a TV crew. The crew traveled by airplane and helicopter to the Mosquitia were they located ancient mounds, over which a current inhabitant of the area had built his dwelling. They also unearthed several stone monoliths.

Since the 1980s, several archeologists such as George Hasemann, Gloria Lara Pinto, and Chris Begley have explored the area and have documented hundreds of sites, including the site know as Crucitas del Rio Aner, which is located in the periphery of the Mosquitia Jungle, and it is the largest site explored and documented to date.

Ciudad Blanca, or “The White City,” has been a legend since the days of the conquistadors, who believed the Mosquitia rain forests hid a metropolis full of gold and searched for it in the 1500s. Throughout the 1900s, archaeologists documented mounds and other signs of ancient civilization in the Mosquitias region, but the shining golden city of legend has yet to make an appearance.

Whether or not the lidar-weilding archaeologists have discovered the same city the conquistadors were looking for is up for debate, but the images suggest some signs of an ancient lost civilization.

“We use lidar to pinpoint where human structures are by looking for linear shapes and rectangles,” Colorado State University research Stephen Leisz, who uses lidar in Mexico, said in a statement. “Nature doesn’t work in straight lines.”

The archaeologists plan to get their feet on the ground this year to investigate the mysterious features seen in the new images.

For those of you like me who have a little difficulty with small print, the investigating officer reports:

Received a call from Somerset to respond to (text removed) and speak to John (text removed) regarding positive identification on a Big Foot track. I arrived on scene and met with John. He walked wit me in the woods to show me the footprint. He showed me the area where he thought the Big Foot footprint was. I looked at the footprint. It was identified by this Officer as a bear footprint not a  Big Foot footprint. I advised John of this. He was not happy with my answer. He said he can definitely tell the difference between a bear footprint from a Big Foot footprint. At that point I decided not to argue with the gentleman any more and just processed the scene as I would normally. There are photographs of the footprint on the camera. It was observed by this officer to be a bear print. Cleared.

While visiting the Preserve Youtuber NightfallFXANS happened upon something he couldn’t explain. He’d been there many times before, but this was the fist time witnessing what he is now characterizing as “Bubble Creatures”. As you’ll see in the video, these odd blisters do in fact look like bubbles. If you pay close attention, you’ll see them undulating in the water.

Should we fear an invasion? Are these Bubble Creatures going to grow so large that they start consuming everything in their path?

Weird, wild stuff, huh?

Of course, we can be silly and cast this occurrence in a strange and eerie light, but back on earth we all know there must be an explanation. In fact, these are not bubble creatures at all, however, the question remains, what the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks are they?

Several people over at Who Forted put their minds to the task and came up with a creature known as a Bryozoan, yet if you really think about it, the bubble creatures don’t really resemble Bryozoans. That’s where I came into the picture…well, not an actual photograph, I just mean…*cough* OK, anyway, it seems that everyone was satisfied and went about their business, everyone that is, but ME! Du, du, da!

I wasn’t satisfied and felt a tremendous need to get to the bottom of this world changing phenomena! Yes, me, a simple man, not unlike a Peter Parker or a Norman Dorshmier. An veritable unknown in the field of bubble creatures, I went the extra mile and solved this predicament, HA, HA!

Actually, I just followed a link in one of the Who Forted comments and emailed the guy. His name is Doug Smith from the UMass Biology Department. Doug was kind enough to clear up the whole thing.

Our previously unknown bubble creatures are actually single celled algae containing gas. Fhew! What a load off my mind and I know how relieved you the readers must be. I can see you all losing sleep over this and I just couldn’t live with myself to have everyone in a state of continuous stress. I’m just glad it’s over and frankly, I’m exhausted! What an undertaking!

Now, I’m sure everyone wants to be educated on single celled algae, right? Right? No? How about I tell you about my 6th grade biology teacher instead? He was about 94 yrs old and referred to us as carpet baggers. He often referenced his daughter who it seems didn’t care for him much either. Now, who wants to hear about my History teacher? Hello? Anyone?

OK, so it’s not that exciting, but it was an itch I had to scratch and I took you guys along for the ride. Now get off my back…and into my heart! Remember that song? Doesn’t it go that way? No? Oh crap! Now I have another dilemma to solve….Supersleuthing powers, activate!

Are they even trying anymore?

We’ve been covering videos of these so-called Close Circuit Television ghosts for quite awhile now. Over the years we found that most of these “ghosts” can easily be explained by moths and other insects crawling around on the lens of the camera. Then there are those that look less like a bug and more like the end product of some low-budget Hollywood shop. You can’t help but shake your head at their attempt (or lack thereof) to hoax a ghost.

But why bore you with these stories, let’s check out one of the latest of these CCTV Ghost videos that is spooking folks out there.

Spooky CCTV footage showing a ghostly figure leaving a community centre in north-west London is creating a stir online.

The video shows a slim man suddenly appear outside the entrance of South Ruislip Community Association and Community Centre on February 1.

It captures the transparent figure walking calmly towards a metal railing before seemingly disappearing into thin air.

The strange moment was reportedly witnessed by the centre’s caretaker who went outside to investigate.

‘I was sitting inside the hall and noticed a figure on the front CCTV camera,’ the caretaker is quoted as saying in the video.

‘I looked up at the screen and thought I saw a person but wasn’t sure so went out to check.’

He added: ‘I went outside and no one was there but I thought they might have quickly walked around the side of the building into the park so I just went back in.

‘After downloading the CCTV footage I was surprised to see that the figure had been recorded onto the system.

‘I can’t explain this.’

A joint statement will be released tomorrow in regards to the “Bigfoot shot in PA rumor.” One of the investigators on the case has a meeting with an officer from the municipal police department. Some very interesting information was shared with us today that confirms my thoughts. Details to be released tomorrow evening.

There is a rumor circulating that another bigfoot has been shot and killed by a turkey hunter in the woods around Altoona Pennsylvania.

So far it is only rumors and Bigfoot Evidence is posting this statement.

At this point all this is rumor and a claim. Once I have more info and more details, I’ll update you. I can confirm we are investigating this claim, but as of right now. That’s all it is, is a claim. We do not have any information or proof to support this claim. Once I have more information that I can confirm, I will let you know. Until we do, no further rumors will be released. We do not want to jeopardize any possible legitimate information at this time.

The local newspaper, the Altoona Mirror has nothing on this story, and IF reports are to be believed that this story was overheard on a police scanner, according to sources who attributted to the Pennsylvania Bigfoot Society Facebook Page

“You guys might want to check out the Somerset County state police call log,” he wrote. “I heard a call come over my scanner [saying that] a gobbler hunter shot a Bigfoot this morning and they did find a body. This is no joke, that call was real. ”

Then I should suspect that something would appear in the police log or newspaper for the area and I find nothing. And while  I also did not find the quote above on the P.B.S Facebook page, what I did find was a report from last month.

Upon further investigation, PBS.member Dave Rupert upon follow up learned that the Clearfield River road reports were a publicity stunt for the upcoming unveiling by a local artist of a 12 foot tall bigfoot statue to be put on display in the local park. Sorry folks, no Bigfoot on this one, but there are still reports that come out of Clearfield County. Good.work Dave!

Of course this is only going to fuel conspiracy and cover-up accusations. I will keep looking but am not holding my breath on this one.
