Contours Options Tandem Double Stroller Giveaway!!

So ever since Gianna was about 7 or 8 months old.. I knew when I had another baby if I needed to get a double stroller I knew it was going to be the Contours Options Tandem Double Stroller. I have a friend who has it with her two sons and LOVES this stroller! I also over the summer went into babies r us to test out what I should get with Gianna, and she seemed most comfortable in this. She did NOT like the sit and stands one bit, I think the best thing was that she liked that I could turn her around and she could see me.

Target is selling E.L.F. products!

So my day was made when we walked into Target this afternoon for a quick grocery run.. I knew Target was going to be carring E.L.F. (EyesLipsFace.com) products starting November 1 but I didn't know that they would have them so soon! We went in today and lo and be hold there they were in all their glory! Thoes who know me well know that I love makeup.. not just any makeup but great quality makeup especially when its at a bargain. If your not familiar with E.L.F. products go over to their website and check it out, they have a FULL line of great quality products for only $1 each. They also sell a mineral line for anywhere between $3-$5 each and a Studio (professional) line for $3 each. I have the entire mineral eyeshadow collection, which I got at a steal last year 75% off and love them! I also have a few of the $1 quads, eyeliners, liquid lipsticks and a bronzer, I haven't yet tried the Studio line but I'm saving away and hoping for a great sale soon.. not as if they are not budget friendly enough :)
They are able to keep their costs so low because they don't advertise, they are strictly word of mouth, and if you sign up for their email newsletter they send you info on their products as well as frequent discounts and sales.
Anyways, I have been wanting to try out their nailpolishes for quite some time now as they are only $1 each and I have heard great things about them. Well when we walked into target today they had a few sets, I picked one up in Jewel Tone Trio. The colors are;

It looks great! I have only found their products at KMart, and the packaging is ok.. it definitely makes the product look more budget friendly, but I love the new updated packaging they are using for Target. It looks much more put together, and professional. I cant wait to pick up some stuff for friends this Holiday season.. so heads up haha be on the lookout people.. you may be getting E.L.F. Products from me :)

Gianna and her Sketchers Hot Lights

For Gianna's birthday, Nonna (Mark's Mom) picked Gianna up some Sketcher Hot Lights sneakers. I have to mention that I love the quality of sketchers kids shoes, and how well they fit! Gianna had a pair of Nike's as her first sneakers but when she got her second pair and they were Sketchers she would walk so much better in them. Shes since had several pairs and I am sure we will buy them again for Gabrielle when she needs her sneakers.

Wondering if anyone else has struck upon this old navy weekly?? An amazing friend of mine who lives in Louisiana introduced me to it about 4 weeks ago. Every week they release new coupons.. for the past 2 weeks in a row I have found the coupon for $75 off $100 order.. but go figure its already been used up. They put a limited number of coupons on their website and once its gone its gone. I waited ALL night to see if I could try to find a good one at midnight tonight but go figure, they changed the website before Midnight and I missed the good ones. This week I found a 20% off entire order which is great! But I'm still crossing my fingers for the amazing ones. Check it out if you haven't already, its almost like a scavenger hunt!

Last day shift/ Last day of Daycare

Today was the last day at work for the day shift(8am-4:30pm), and Gianna's last day of daycare. I am excited, sad, and anxious at the same time! I didn't think you could feel so many things all at once.. then again I am only 31 weeks and 4 days pregnant.. there's no such thing as emotions running now are there?? :)
Having her in daycare has been bittersweet. She has learned so much from the interaction, and made a few friends I know that she enjoys these things because she talks about them when we are at home. But at the same time from the first day I started working at my job I missed not being home with her every single day. It was nice that I would leave work and have a couple hours but she would be so tired and she would be in bed 3 hours after I get home. Although the break at night for just time to myself was nice as well. I guess the grass will always be greener on the other side right?
I am anxious to start the new schedule because I will be working till 1am.. it feels like so late! I am sure it will take time to adjust and I will get there. The weird thing is that I am nervous because it is a whole new set of people to learn about, I think I was just comfortable seeing the same faces every day! Its honestly like the first day of school haha, not that I have ever had an issue getting along with many people or making new friends I just really liked the group I had before :)

On other news we were talking about the Shamwow guy at work today and his run in with the hungry hooker.. LOL.. Apparently a few months back he had gotten a hooker and she had bitten his tongue. She wouldn't let go so he beat the crap out of her! Ahh long story short they both were arrested but I couldn't get the Slap chop remix out of my head all day. I thought I would share because it makes me laugh hysterically every time I hear it!

Wet Ones Anti Bacterial wipes

SheSpeaks.com sent me a package the other day of Wet Ones Antibacterial wipes! Considering I am 31 weeks pregnant I have been trying to not get sick as much as humanly possible. I work in an environment where it is very busy, there are a ton of people in the office, and it seems like once one person gets sick they all get sick. These wipes have proven to be very helpful in making sure I keep myself germ free. Of course that isn't easy with a toddler running around everywhere, and touching everything in sight. Everyone knows the carnal rule of being a mother.. "moms just don't get sick!"

First off I have to say that these smell GREAT! I have an issue with antibacterial things (lotions, wipes, wipes and gels) smelling overwhelmingly of alcohol. It is the last thing I want to be smelling all day long! I would avoid using a sanitizer just because it smells terrible, which of course doesn't give you the great germ fighting benefit. They smell slightly of vanilla.. Genius! The formula is not sticky, your hands don't stay moist for 25 years, it definitely does not dry out your hands.

In my SheSpeaks.com package they also included several travel packs, I gave a few to friends and one to my Mother in Law, Im sure they are loving the convenience factor as much as I do!

I also noticed that they have one that is safe for babies and toddlers which is awesome, I'll have to pick some up ASAP! It isn't safe to use anti bacterial products on young children and toddlers because the alcohol can absorb into their skin and make them have an extremely high blood alcohol level which their little bodies can't handle. It will either make them very sick or even in some cases children have died. You always want to do the best to protect your kids from getting sick so having the benefit of using a convenient wipe that is safe for babies and toddlers is perfect!

First off let me say HOW much I love my family! Im not talking about Mark, Gianna and myself. Im speaking about my WHOLE family!! My parents, marks parents, our grandparents.. aunts.. uncles.. cousins and even friends. Every single person in my family is so supportive of the next, its amazing. No one is here to intentionally hurt or backstab anyone else, there is real genuine true love for everyone. That doesnt mean we all havnt had our fights or hard times, but no matter what we always come back. Something I really love and appreciate.

New things with Gianna...
SHE CRAWLS!! She has been belly or army crawling for about a week and a half now!! Soo Amazing!! In less than 2 months she will be a whole YEAR old! Shes starting to not look like a baby so much these days, shes turning into a little toddler, looks and attitude. She throws tempertantrums like a 2 year old sometimes haha. She will purposly do things now that will make us laugh! Its great, she knows if she does certian things shell get the reaction out of us.

We took her to the aquarium the other day and she LOVED it. She loved watching the penguins turtles and all the other fish! Altho she was afraid of the lobsters. Its so much fun to see her so animated and enjoying the things I loved doing as a kid.

Hey all, A little introduction and a quick view into my average day :)

My name is Jess, Im a 22 year old mom to the most beautiful baby in the world, Gianna. She is my whole world in less than 3 feet. Its completely amazing to see the world thru a childs eyes.

Gianna is now 8 months 2 weeks and 3 days old, but whos counting right? Currently she is sitting in the middle of her pop up tent looking around with huge eyes exploring all the toys around her. She also has quite the hair do.

Becoming a mother for me was always a dream of mine. Ever since I was little whenever anyone would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up the reply was always "a mommy". Rarely was it that I said the average kid thing.. and even so it was always something to do with kids.

Before I became pregnant Mark and I had been talking about kids, we both really wanted a child and wanted to be younger parents. We had chosen to do the whatever happens happens kind of plan. Well I guess whatever happens DID happen :P I wasnt even thinking about being pregnant when I had been sick for about 2 weeks straight. I thought I had the FLU! Of course Marks first thought after I had been sick for so long was did you take a pregnancy test?? Umm noo. I had had a feeling that maybe I was pregnant, some kind of motherly instinct but I must have been in denile. Nervous as all as I had never had to buy a test before I made my best friend come with me. We go to walmart buy a test and come home. I pee on the first stick and put it aside... I wouldnt even look at it!! LOL Court went to look at the at home pregnancy test after about 5 minutes... "umm your definatly pregnant!"

"Noooooo theres no way! I have the flu, Im just sick." In denile I take the second test

"yep your pregnant!"

For some odd reason I was in denile for a few days.. then finally started getting truely excited.. I dont know what I was thinking for the first few days, but I can say the plan but no plan was the best thing I have ever decided to do in life, Gianna is the reason I am so excited to get up in the morning, she has truely made my life so much more amazing. I dont even remember what life was like without her and nor do I want to.
