Sadly, her drawing skills haven't improved much, but her love of fantasy worlds never went away. These days she writes about fairies, ghosts, and other supernatural creatures, only with considerably more heat.
She has won numerous contests, including The Golden Pen and Launching a Star. When not writing or working the day job, she enjoys gardening and way too many reality television shows.

Currently residing in Michigan with her husband and overgrown lapdog, she is a member of RWA national and Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America.
She loves to hear from readers. You can email her at jodiredford@jodiredford.com and visit her online at http://www.jodiredford.com/

Alma A. Hromic (who now writes as Alma Alexander) was born in 1963 in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia, on the shores of the river Danube. Her father's employment with international aid agencies meant that the family spent twenty years living in various countries in Africa, including Zambia, Swaziland, and South Africa.

Educated in the United Kingdom and South Africa, Alma graduated from the University of Cape Town with an MSc in Microbiology in 1987. She quickly left the lab in order to write about it instead, and spent several years running a scientific journal for the Allergy Society of South Africa before she moved to New Zealand in 1994. She also worked as a literary critic for several publications in South Africa and England.

In New Zealand, she obtained an editorial position with an international educational publisher, where she worked for several years. In 1995 she wrote Houses in Africa (David Ling Publishing Limited, New Zealand; ISBN 0-908990-30-8), a revealing and often-amusing memoir of her two decades in Africa. The same year, she published The Dolphin's Daughter and Other Stories (Longman UK; ISBN 0582122104), a bestselling book of three fables. She has had numerous pieces of short fiction and nonfiction published internationally in South Africa, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

In 1999, when NATO launched a war against her native country, Alma started an often-tumultious e-mail correspondence with R. A. "Deck" Deckert, a freelance writer and former copy editor, wire editor and news editor for metropolitan newspapers including the Miami Herald and the Miami News. Their correspondence became the basis of an epistolary novel about these dramatic events, Letters from the Fire (HarperCollins New Zealand; ISBN 1-86950-336-8). This book went from concept to publication in fewer than five months. Alma and Deck were married in June, 2000, and she now lives in the northwestern United States.

Award-winning author Cynthia Eden writes paranormal romances and romantic suspense novels. She is currently very busy writing her stories for Grand Central Publishing and Kensington Brava.

(Back in the day…) Cynthia graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Alabama where she studied Sociology (because people interest her) and Communication (because she likes to write about said people). Cynthia has worked as a college admissions counselor, a teacher, and as an editor. Spellspam—and it's not supposed to exist. As far as Thea and her friends know, computers are meant to be inert vehicles for storing magic spells, not magical processors themselves. But all that seems to have changed as students at Wandless Academy find themselves the victim of practical jokes—with magical consequences—simply by opening an e-mail.

Now the spellspams are getting worse, and it's possible there's someone behind them who is not just bent on stirring up trouble but has a much scarier and more wide-reaching agenda. Until now, Thea has been the only person she's ever met who can reach through the computer using magic. But someone else is out there, and even her friends can't help her track down the source of the spellspam before it gets much, much worse.
This sequel to Worldweavers: Gift of the Unmage ups the ante on a fantasy world that is rich and nuanced, like our own, but with a core of wildly original magic.

Mixed-blood Ian McCabe, grandson of Fae and gods tries to deny his powers.

When he discovers mortal, Emma Grant unconscious at the bottom of the steps to his castle, his world starts to change. Tour director Emma Grant's bus breaks down and her effort to find help results in a fall that knocks her unconscious. She awakens to find the man of her dreams staring into her eyes. But will his secrets and her distrust of men tear them apart?

Beyond Magic is the first book in Lizzie T. Leaf's Magical Love Series, and what a fun adventure it is as it takes the reader into the contemporary world of love and Greek gods, the Fae, and, oh yes, witches and warlocks.
Emma Grant, a tour guide in Denver, too long wishing for the right man to show up, tries a charm in the book she's reading about mythological gods. But instead of a man, she's offered the opportunity to lead a tour in Scotland. When the tour's members turn out to be a group of retired schoolteachers from Atlanta who decide she needs a man and become intent on helping her find one, magic is set in motion.
A broken-down tour bus in a rainstorm brings Emma and her troupe to Ian McCabe's castle, who is, unbeknown to Emma, the author of the book with the charm. Emma feels her sexual attraction to him is as magical as his to her and thinks her wish has been granted.

Ian is the grandson of gods and fae and doesn't care if Emma is mortal. She's the one for him. But when he tells her his grandparents are Aphrodite and Odin, she thinks he's crazy.

Unaware of her own magical heritage, Emma must ultimately choose whether to embrace Ian's world, and he must convince her their love is real in any world.

Lizzie T. Leaf writes with gusto and humor as she brings forth characters so real, despite their relegation to myth, that you'd love to party with them. Even the mortal characters, particularly the intrepid retired schoolteachers, leave the reader wanting to have tea, or a martini, with them. I'm looking forward to the future Magical Love Series books.
Amidst the upheaval of Cromwell's Britain, Jamie Sinclair's wit and military prowess have served him well. Leading a troop in Scotland, he impetuously marries a captured maiden, saving her from a grim fate.

A Highlands heiress to title and fortune, Catherine Drummond is not the woman Jamie believes her to be. When her people effect her rescue, and he cannot annul the marriage, Jamie goes to recapture his hellcat of a new wife...

In a world where family and creed cannot be trusted, where faith fuels intolerance and war, Catherine and Jamie test the bounds of loyalty, friendship, and trust...

It is unknown how the demonic spirit came to be at the cottage, but its presence resulted in a battle ensuing between God and Satan as they waged war for souls. Finding herself caught in the middle and desperate for salvation from the evil spirit and ghosts which resided with her, Joanna turned to the Church for help, only to discover that the Exorcist appointed for the task would be less than accommodating.
Instead she became captive to the Saxon warrior, Saewulf Brader! Wulf was, in truth, a Norman captain spying on the enemy. Chaste yet fearless Lady Erica wasn't part of his plan. Her beauty was as disarming as it was captivating, but Wulf knew that once she discovered his deception, their fragile bond of trust would be destroyed....

Half-Saxon, half-Norman, Saewulf Brader longs for something more than his current position. Even if he cannot be knight, at least he might be rewarded with land for his loyalty to his liege lord. Her father dead during the Battle of Hastings, Erica knows she must end the blood feud between her family and another Saxon tribe if the Saxons have any chance of driving away the Normans. She will do anything to stop the blood feud, no matter what the cost to herself. When Wolf enters Guthlac's hall as a spy, Erica's beauty captivates him while the threat from Guthlac's men stirs his heart and memory. He must do everything he can to protect her. Torn between his duty to his liege lord and his desire for Erica, can Wulf keep her safe without compromising his spy mission? Will Erica ever be able to trust him when she discovers he is a spy for the Normans?
HIS CAPTIVE LADY is an awesome Medieval romance! From Carol Townend's past works THE NOVICE BRIDE and AN HONORABLE ROGUE, I already knew I liked her writing style I would love her writing no matter what story she writes, but HIS CAPTIVE LADY is even more incredible than my wildest dreams! Wulf is amazing hero. His divided loyalties create a depth of character seen from inside his heart and values, a heart both loyal to the Saxon culture and his Norman lord and yet a heart that longs for love and a higher good that transcends political loyalties. Wulf cleverly manages to act with honor and deal with the trouble that came his way...and trouble he saw aplenty! Carol Townend creates such an ingenious yet tender hearted man ----brave like a warrior, and a heart more noble than any knight. Erica with her innocence, her daring, her values steals the heart from the first pages. Erica is a bit of a trailblazer in her desire for peace and yet Carol Townend also allows the reader to see her fears and her devotion to those who serve her.
Guthlac, Hrothgar and all the Saxons made my Medieval heart go aflutter. HIS CAPTIVE LADY give such an accurate picture of that culture both after the Battle of Hastings and in the legends and history in the hearts of the Saxons. Carol Townend paints such an awesome image of the warrior arm rings in this one scene that she made me see my medieval studies in a new way, with a new vision ---a human vision --- but it wasn't just that one scene. Carol Townend picks up on that scene and develops it into a beautiful theme interwoven throughout the story. In another beautiful, amazing scene (so awesome that I had to read it aloud to friends telling them how it just made me gasp from its beauty), the author takes and changes the Beowulf story in the life of a character who lived later. Once more, this scene is not dropped but changed and developed throughout the story. Everything in this book just fits so well together as echoes of past scenes reverberate in new contexts, adding layers of richness to this romance. I adored the picture Carol Townend paints of the changes in the Saxon culture after the Normans have invaded. Beautiful imagery!
HIS CAPTIVE LADY---how does a person even describe a book that just hits a reader on every chord except to say that for me, this book was 7th heaven. How much do love this book? Rating: 5++! It's more than a rating though. I actually bought multiple copies of this book for me, not as gifts, because I want to re-read this book so much that I will wear it out more than once. HIS CAPTIVE LADY is not just a 2008 top ten read but a top all time read for me!
But now family duty has forced the gruff soldier into the throes of the social Season to find a bride.

Philippa Reynolds is facing yet another Season as a wallflower. Despite a disability that prevents her from dancing, her mother insists she join in the balls and other social events in hopes of finding a man who will overlook her limp.

He needs a wife but has no wish to play the games required of the Marriage Mart. She would like to be married but has no hopes of ever doing so. Could they perhaps join forces to avoid all the fuss of the Season and enter into a marriage of convenience?

Outcast sorcerer Jack Madden has waited fifty years to take revenge against the Council of Wardens for wrongly convicting him of a crime, binding his powers beyond repair. When the Council turns to him to help retrieve four missing arcane artifacts, Jack decides its his best shot at vengeance. And Raine Spencerfearful of her power and clueless about how to use itis his perfect mystical surrogate and mark. Raine loyally serves the Council of Wardens as a top Occult Operations Analyst, but she longs to take the sacred oath and become a knight. With the taint of Elven blood in her veins, she has a snowballs chance in hell of making that dream a realityuntil she is chosen by Mad Jack to act as a mystical surrogate. Raine is ready to face down her fear of her wild Elven side, and team up with the most unprincipled scoundrel to ever haunt the halls of the Council of Wardens. But is she ready to pay the price with her heart?
That’s not right “think about it”. My husband has been 100% social security disability receiving a check for the last 6 months but I am his only insurance because he does not become eligible for Medicare until July of this year.
I dispense his medicine because he is on so many it confuses him and to top all that off his oxygen drops in the low 80 so he has oxygen on at night (some times he takes it off and gets confused if I am at work he gets scared).
I keep a phone by the bed with the ringer on high and the phone number of the station I am working on, plus the phone numbers of 2 neighbors (with keys) to the house.

I am an avid reader and I comprehend every word, but I still am not a good speller, RC (a teach for the deaf) is right in it's how things are said or not said, if a person starts to talk to me and turns away I am lost, I hear the noise but don't always understand what is said. I like to read it because I can understand what is being said, or reread it.
I hated verbal tests, or verbal instructions at work and I flat refuse to take doctors orders over the phone. Certain sounds make me angry and on edge, ie: like nails on a black board acid rock does that to me. I hope all of you are not upset that I am putting in my thoughts on this but I feel most of you think I am an quite an idiot. I am an artist that must vent by writing now it is my only door open. I need to make more scrubs but my sewing room is pilled with my daughter’s things. He can go from exposure to phenomena in only six hours now, that is frightening with a 8 month old here (sick) all the time. Willie is five-year-old now and going to school, we moms no what that means.

I have been busy on my website http:www.giftsofdawn.com had a new writer I added today please go say hi, Frank Baca. I also added Donald Trump to the site he has a new line of vitamins that are geared for each individual user not one size fit’s all (I no, hoky doky Linda) in a price range that can be done, I truly believe they will help Lee. When Diana (my sister who I haven’t spoken with in almost a year tells me she’s taking them and what a difference it has made on her

Next year will bring joy and love all over the world. My site will grow and maybe I won’t have to work. My novel will be published and Toby will be illustrated (?) I can dream that’s what people do; they dream and fantasize to make life more fun.

A story: Today after a night of my youngest and her soon to be X auguring over there two wonderful child, in my living room, on my husband birthday. (Ante life a kick in the asssssss.) I came upon a blanket that I had made for Willie two Christmas’ ago. It had another blanket that had his magazine in it. I sat dawn and cried, “We read that magazine, together when it came.” He was so proud that he had mail come for him, (for a 5-year old that’s a big thing) and he had given it to me. The mind of a child is the most wonderful place on this earth. They are truly gifts of God, yes I said God.

This has been a long hard year ending with maybe losing my job; the hospital and big business are taking the care out of healthcare. Not just for me, but also for many across the USA, Happy New Year, here’s your pink slip. I often quote “psalm’s 91,” no I won’t write it out though I could I say it enough there are many psalms I say, it is the greatest story ever told. With that I say goodnight and may all your dreams come true.
