The colors of Nature are so amazing to me. From skies of every different color to oceans blue and sparkling in the sun to the trees and leaves all around us. Rocks and gemstones everywhere you look. Plants and even weeds, most I never even know the name of. The blend of nature reminds me a lot of ME. I never live by any one theme. I don’t decorate in only one theme or necessarily buy home decor that “matches” my theme because, everything I like is MY theme.

Jetty Waves From Firefighter To Beach Adventures

The power of the ocean, the tides, the moon and the sea unpredictable, unstoppable. Standing at the top of this beach area is the horizon far and wide as you can see. The view of the powerful waves washing right up to me was amazing enough until I looked down and found even more amazing treasures that were thrown right up to me. A Whale bone vertebrae fossil was this day’s treasure from the beach. Read more and check out the whale fossils here

I had no idea I would find anything like this on the beach and in all fairness, I had no idea what these were when I first found them I just thought it was awesome looking and had to find out more. I brought it home and cleaned it up and it turns out I found an awesome whale bone vertebrae what’s the chances.

Whether you are shelling, shore fishing, tanning on the beach or surfing the waves these beach carts are really exceptional. The wheels are made not to dig into the sand instead to roll over the sand making the push or pull of the beach buggy easier than a little red wagon. (we upgraded our wheels but the ones ours came with also worked great, we just really load this up and go a long ways on the beach so we can also do some shore fishing away from the swimmers.

Maybe that’s why I love going to the beach so much. Walking along with my thoughts some so deep inside it’s a natural place to let them tumble and wave just like the ocean. After all what’s deep inside of us is a reflection of who we are and where we have been.

Even in Florida the weather has been colder than chilly and sent Floridians running for long sleeves, real socks and sneakers instead of flip flops, warmer jammies and cozy wonderful blankets. It’s a great time for families that tend to gather together inside especially in the kitchen. It’s a time for being inside and reading books together. Having family game night. And when I say family in our house that means the WHOLE family including our four cats and a dog who love everything that keeps the family all in one place. They are always in on the fun!
