Thank you, T100 Dubai, for this amazing event, and my super Dubai Sonic family taking care of me despite Charles not being on board at the very last minute. I had a great race and still very into Tri. This race is also a testament to how I can perform and test my limits in a safe approach.

2km Swim (00:51:33) was conservative as I have to avoid people kicking my abdominal.

Feb. 2017 - Quitted my 9 years job working at a local developer firm, learned a lots for residential development for Hong Kong market. Thankful to have such opportunities and challenges given from the firm that allows me to growth.

Officially turn on my training mode for the real challenges for a Full Ironman training. My week is like:

March 2019 - Spending some time with Mom in Phuket, getting away from the hustle and bustle life and prepare to wind down myself a new life without a job.

The preparation for a sabbatical is amazing experience and i recommend everyone should try once in a life time. How i should schedule my time, use it properly and efficiently, i set up a time schedule for myself includes training, studying, meeting old friends, travel to explore in a budgeted way. i really enjoyed how i back to a basic life, taking bus instead of taxi, finding more fresh food and cook for myself, figuring how i could spent my expenditure wisely. Feeling like back to a normal basic life, starting from scratch and i realised i have missed alots of opportunities and my rights.

Submitted my admission for postgraduate study at HKU at Faculty of Architecture at Architectural Conservation Unit (ACP), YES! Finally my awaited dream come true and the school accepted my application in April 2017.

2017 Travel - Travel to Phuket with Mom in March. Boarding to a cruise with my mom and her friends from HK - Shanghai - Nagasaki - Kumanoto - Miyasaki - HK in April. Bangkok in June. Kamakura in July, meeting my first colleague Toshi back in 2002 RAD. Many fond memory working in Wyndham Street. Many tireless nights, white modelssssss. He brings me to his neighbourhood and i hope we can see each others some time. Oslo, Vega followed by a road trip tour round from mid North to South via Fjord and Mountain in August with Charles meeting Frederic for his Vega Island project. Back in Phuket in Nov. for Charles 70.3 Thailand, a relaxing holiday for me meeting old friends.

Welcoming my favourite baby EWalk from my best friend Joy.

Farewell: my best friend Irene in June, trashing her house on a very last minutes. packing whole things with with her. Another sweet one with Josie whom we train and drink, leaving to LA for her dream.

Oslo - Vega - Bronnoysund - Kristiansund - Trondheim - Molde - Isfjorden - Andalsnes- Trollstigen - Geirangerfjord - Alesund. Boarding to Hurtigruten for 1 night experience is amazing. We staying in a podium cabin, the ship is rocking like a roller coaster at night when we sail down at the Norwegian Sea is crazy. My head keeps turning. The road trip experience with Frederic and Charles is fun. Travelling in the beautiful mountain and fjord.

My first day at HKU kick started in Sep. feeling to excited in every second to learnt new things and the hungriness of knowledge and inspiration. I'm so enjoyed every second of it and founded my interest of reading and writing. I realised that i have been missing so many things such as History subject, its never too late to go back to school.

My D days (Ironman Korea 2017) finally arrives on 10th Sep. in Guyre, Korea, in a very remote UNESCO heritage site. I have been training through Team Siri training plan via Training Peak monitoring my progress and performance. My race went very well and i did not feel any pressure on it.

Seeing Yvon and his family in Oct., I'm glad he've been going through all these year and still remembering us. A Blood cancer survivors.

Nov. - Charles BIG 40. I have organise a race to celebrate his BIG 40, invited all his friend to join and i have custom-made a ceramic medals for all finisher. The race consist of 40km and run for 4km followed with a beach BBQ and custom-made cake. Charles is super happy!

The purpose of the bike is to eat for the run. The purpose of the first run lap is to put money in the bank to pay the monkey that will jump on your back the second lap.The Second Lap Monkey. He is very a big monkey. If this is your first Ironman, you have probably felt in your training everything that you will feel on race day, except the Second Lap Monkey. You can’t train for that. The Second Lap Monkey carries a big stick, and its name is Pain. Love it, hate it, get angry at it. Breathe it with every breath, feel it with every step and use it.It lets you know you are still alive, more alive than most people will ever be in their whole lives. The clock keeps on ticking and everything bad must eventually come to an end. All you have to do is keep running in a straight line until someone tells you to stop.(Anon)

The race is located at Gurye, Korea. Remote countryside with lots of paddy field. Temperature is cool at the morning and evening say 17 C and can reach hot and sunny in the noon around 28C. Language is a problem, none of us can communicate with the local or even understand the menu. We take a flight from Hong Kong to Incheon followed by a 4-5 hours bus ride with heavy luggage - bike box logistic. Thanks Charlie doing all the loading and unloading works for me.

Pre race

The transition area and the Finish area is scattered around 2km by walk. The hotel (Blue Sun Resort, never again) we stayed is around 6.5km from transition. Before the race we have to do the following in different day per the event schedule:

- Athletes check in

- Race briefing

- Bike check in together with the Bike & Run bag drop

- Race day Bike and Run Special need bag drop, street wear bag drop

- Swim course open for test

Even though the above sound a bit hectic with not so well organised shuttle bus around, I'm still feeling great and happy, no pressure and all i want is just Eat, Sleep and DO IT!!

Race day - 10 Sep. 2017 Sunday

Wake up at 4PM, i have made myself a boiling water in our room for my dry veggie meal (Salt, rice and veggie) great loading up and i really need the rice recently. Put up my timing chip, put on my suit and a jacket with the street wear bag with a stand pump, we leave our room at 0445 and take the shuttle to the swim start. I'm not panic and rather familiar know what to do, step by step. Thanks Andrea's head lamp when it is still dark and a bit cold. I take out the bike cover which is full of water, lubricate the chain, pump my tires and put on the power food and load the water. There are some girl asking me to borrow my pump(Again and WHY?) but i rejected it. (I have had lots of unhappy memory about the pump and i'm not willing upset myself again! Either i cannot use my pump after i borrowed to someone or make someone bike's flat, or i have wait them to finish it 1 by 1, thats not my responsibility and EVERYONE SHOULD BRING THEIR OWN PUMP!) I discharge myself at the bike area and pick up my pump and went to meet Charles and Andrea nearby the swim start, we stayed away with the hyper Korean man. I put on my very comfy ORCA wet suit and lubricate myself at the neck and underarm, zip up and went for a jog. I'm so clam under the heavy fog with this beautiful mountain landscape, so clam that i can't even justify myself i'm soon will start a race.
The Swim - 3.8km in a foggy lake (1:28:31)
And i told myself
"I knew it, the day is finally NOW, at THIS MOMENT, I'm going to put all my hearts out and live my day!"
And I'm jump from the pontoon by a rolling start, i swim far from the buoy and way away from the crowd. Yes, and i liked it. Swimming all alone by myself and was urged couples of time to swim close to the people. I swim really effortless, didn't feel any tireless or pain. The swim is started at the outer loop of 1.9km clockwise then we have to go through a small bridge with time chip sensor to make another 1.9km loop anti-clockwise. It is pretty easy to me to swim that distance or may be i really didn't push hard to it. I just enjoyed the whole way in the lake water with the fog without seeing anythings from 30meter ahead. This time i wore my old Timex Ironman (Cost HKD 100 only) watch as i don't feel comfortable with the Garmin Fenix 5S. I dont care about my time too, and i feel pretty comfortable with it :) Come up from the water without dizzy or collapse feeling and i made it one third of the race now! HAPPY!

Bike - 180km rolling to me (7:40:35)
Went to the transition tent with my bike bag is a bit chaos! There have around 10 ladies in the tent either sitting or standing on a bit muddy grass, i sit at the corner and immediately take out my wet suit and pour some fresh water from my bottle outside the tent. Quickly change into my new speed suit, gloves, eat the energy jelly, put on socks and bike shoes, sun cream and get out of the humid tent and look for my bike.

The bike consist of country side paddy field road plus going to south of the city for 3 loops. All the way long up and down gentle slope which i'm not familiar with. Have to hold my brake most of the time. At the first beginning of a tough short climb, the person in front of me crashes with the opposite person due to the road is narrow and the opposite line is coming from a sharp turn down hill. I immediately turn left to the road side and avoid any accident. During the ride, i told myself not to have any accident hit by someone, i force myself to be highly alert on that, otherwise the effort i made the last 6 months will be gone! I maintained my slow pace and rolling around this 180km bike course. Of course there have lots of people took over me and looks like i'm the last batch of the 300 riders. At the bike special need bag area, i saw a lots of things which is new to me. People can enjoy cup noodle there, drinks, rest, sleep. A pair of couples is riding together and the ladies seems to be in pain after the 90km and the guy is doing a massage to her! Shouldn't this allowed?
At one point when i'm climbing up in parallel with a guy, suddenly i feel that my left leg is hit by a front wheel. WTF? I dare not to turn my head but immediately i realised there have 2 guys on my left overtaking me, which means 4 rider is riding parallel occupying the road. I slowed down and give way. I'm scare at that point as anything could stop me from the race. First the wheel, second is accident, third may be careless mistake or eating issue. No, no one can stop me at this point! Hold on the handle bar and keeping moving!
I made my hammer drinks at this last stop and finished half bottle of it and carry the last batch of nutrient to ride the rest. The whole ride i keep hydrate and eat, hydrate and eat, without any mistake with Hammer. The weather started to drop when i'm all the way back to the boring highway seeing some people is already running made me a bit upset and discouraging. When my bike turn the last loop close to the T2, i saw Jing is running out and he is looking good, tall and proud. I told myself i should be run like that too! And i only left the last leg.....

Run - 42km, a Marathon after 9 hours of continuous workout (4:39:24)
I took my Run bag and just sit on the grass to change my socks and Hoka shoes. I sit on the lawn is feeling q enjoyable despite i'm in hurry mode. Thanks god i made a good decision with a better cushioning shoes instead of my all time favourite Newton Running. I need the cushioning to lift myself up the entire way. I run out the the T2 with my fuel belt and cap (All black this time), after 5 km of the first part of the run, i reach to the crowed and saw Charlie and Andrea is there, they are so happy to see me. I smile to them, grasp a coke and this is so dame good! I walked at this section and enjoying this special moment cheer from the crowd with music. The second part of the run consist of 3 laps of 11-12 km. Q discouraging and boring, especially you saw some people already with the neon ribbon on the hand and you have NOTHING YET! (The neon ribbon is a mark that you finish the first and second lap) I keep focusing the pace that i can hold and looking straight to the road. After the first lap, it became complete darkness. The little light bulbs partially on the road ask me not to give up, when theres light theres a hope! I keep moving each little steps and walked whenever i wanted. I passed so many peoples in the run which i cannot believe it. I didn't stop at each aid station much, i drank the coke until my body said NO. The last 10km i did not stop at aid, just keep moving forward. There have a Korean girl run with me at the last 10km towards the Finish, I knew i can speed up a bit to hold the remaining 8km, so i pace up a bit. The girl started to yell and may be she say why i speed up. I neglected and focused to the FINISH. The last 8km is really in suffer mode, i did not want to slow down but i knew at some point my body might stop. So, i'm pushing my body to the limits without a sensible control. Hardly climbing up the last section and wandering through the approach to the FINISH line. Is my day! And i nail it, pushing through to the finish is unbelievable amazing feeling! My expression say it all and i waited to this day for so long. And heard Whit Raymond saying that "You are an Ironman" I just couldn't believe my ears! It was so emotional and all my scarification, my money, my efforts paid off!

"Everyone can do it!" WRONG!
I'm huge believer in PROGRESS! PROCESS! PRACTICE! No one is magician! (Of course i can say it now and loud!)
I've been training Triathlon since 2004. I still clearly remembered there have 1 girl asking me 2 years ago Did you finish an Ironman. I say No, it takes long time to prepare and get into there to make a good time. I would rather prefer to stay at 70.3 distance to ramp up. She was so surprised and saying to me with an example of XX is completed an Ironman and she just been in Tri for few years within a cut off time with an admire expression. I told her, yes she is good to just finish but i don't see her in progressing anymore rather more fail each time now. Sorry, thats not what i wanted. I wanted to be in good shape with progress! I'm so sorry for her in fact!

It tooks me really long time to prepare with scarification. I tried to train my first marathon 2 years ago, in the same year i placed myself in a very difficult challenges in Gobi for a 100km stage race and later on a Ultra trail race by the end of that year. I want my body to get prepare all this suffer, she adapt it slowly. And knowing that there will have a big job coming up. After a year, and coincidentally i decided to go back to school and take some time off. And i take this time to train for my first.

People somehow is forgetting and believing everyone can do it, as long as you dare to it and in a result it might be fail, injured, mentally ill and never returned to this game. From the last 13 years in Tri, i witness this and i told myself I did not want it! I want to be in Triathlon forever in my life and enjoy it with improvement and pushing myself to limits. Muscle have memory, you cannot run a marathon without progressing your training volume and intensity by just short period of time. Same as your mental brain, they need some buffer zone to get into it, prepare to suffer in a uncontrollable condition which is unavoidable. Such as unfavourable weather, accident, mental breakdown, lonesome hours . But this can be earn from year to year with your experience.

I hope you find it benefit. There are always a race to you, but Injury will stop you. Don't sign up a race spontaneous, evaluate yourself if you are capable of the distance, training hours, intensity that balance your social and work life. I knew one of the lady in HK, from the day i knew her she is at her Olympic age group champion and she is now mother of 2 and standing still on the Olympic age group champion in 3 groups older. Our best role model. (Not me) If you want to know, i can give you some hints.

cheers!
Needed this break to reinforce and realised myself how to move forward. Leaving a comfortable space is never easy, but you know me. I don't like easy, "If this is Hard, I knew i"m doing it RIGHT" is my motto.

So, i made plans of what i can do as most of the project manager job. Giving a limited 6 months time off and a limited budget i have saved (Thanks Wing Tai) then execution.

I quickly look for what Ironman race with reasonable time that i can train and in the same time prepare my Interview of the Master Degree in Architectural Conservation.

I get to know Team Sirius for long time of powerful person Siri Lindley, admire how Miranda Carfrae's performance in Kona. So, here i go to follow her 23 weeks Ironman 140.6 Intermediate training plan:

Team Sirius 23 weeks to Ironman - Intermediate training plan

And i committed, training like a full time person. 2 session per day, 6 days of training per week. Going through 3 peaks during this 23 weeks. And the peaks is not just 1 week, it consist of 3 weeks of a complete block up to 22 hours/week. Oh man! This is my journey.

The North Face 100 Hong Kong
Distance: 100km
Elevation gain: 6300m
Weather: Day 27 degrees celsius (feel like 33), Night 13 degrees celsius
Wind: 3-4 North Wind
Humidity: 54% Dry

The race starts 8AM at plover clove, i have already changed and my bag is all loaded with my power foods and more than 1.5L water. Charles drove me there with my classmate which made me feel comfortable and I'm not worried at all ;) I just need to tighten up my lace and i was urge to move to the start line 30 mins before the race starts. It is actually a good move to the front out of 1500 peoples with 100km and 50km mass starts for a better timing. After several photo taking, chit chat we starts. I'm excited and knowing it will be a long day, i'm actually quite relax at the starts. The first is a bit challenging as we have to run up to a 1:100 400meter slope to reach a bottom neck trail. So i ran as much as i can to try to get a good position.

Up to the Pak Sin Leng trail, i feel great, preserved my speed but run as much as i could and in the meantime i'm very careful to keep a distance behind the runner. i keep running with my pal behind Iris and Sally, they set a good pace and i feel confident running behind them. Before CP1, my pal Sally twisted her ankle and she ask me to leave her and then i just go. Feel bad about this, but i cannot do anythings. I found that I'm clever that i didn't drop my pole at the CP1, as theres tons of runner even within our own group and it will block the runner behind. So when i pass the CP1, i didn't stop and pull out my poles immediately and continuous to Session 2!
Many first in 2016 to start with my first marathon in March followed the 100km on a 3 stages race in Gobi in June and to ended by the North Face 100km in Hong Kong.

I wanted to finish a ultra marathon after i complete the Gobi as i realized that the Gobi cannot called it as ultra. Any distance beyond 42.195km run is called an Ultra, so the Gobi is disqualified.

So i search on the internet and found out that there have a race called The North Face 100km and then i enter the lottery sign up, and surprising i'm IN. That was in August and the race is in December.

The North Face Hong Kong is great, they have teamed up a TRA The North Face Running Academy with the Elite runner Ho Chung Wong as a coach to trained 10 peoples who sign up this 100km race for 3 months till the race day and luckily i'm one of them! I feel super bumped and can't wait to just run flying in the mountain that i imagine the road is flat with a bit of sand, like HK trail. But it was totally not and i'm so wrong.

After i trained with #TRA for a month, Iris Chen one of my classmate told me this race is a UTMB points collective race. And i looked totally odd, what is this? I don't need points, i just want to finish a 100km RUN in one go so that i'm a Ultra marathoner. She said, this is not a ultra marathon, this is Ultratrail. What? No? What happened?

#TNF100 is a 100km #ultratrail individual race, one of the Hong Kong grand slam ultra trail series. Earned a reputation for being one of the hilliest and most challenging trail running races in Asia. Tackling 6,300 meters of cumulative elevation gain over 100 kilometers, to finish this tough challenge within 27 hour cut off time and have to cross each of the check point within a check points cut off.

So, never too late. By knowing the race i just trained is not what i expected that can actually run. i told myself why not spent this time to know further our Hong Kong trail and mountain. And why not Ultratrail? So, that's how i begins.
The wind keep blowing violently to our Ger the whole night making anyone cannot sleep. We have to wake up at 4:30AM no sun and lights with the sand blowing to our face. Thanks God I realize the map given is in larger scale and it would not like the previous stages meaning the distance while I could not sleep. The sun never want to see us today and the wind likes us. I don't wear enough possibly and I just keep telling myself you just need to run faster and look for big guy to shield. I run pretty awesome today despite my blood blister on my left foot and have a minor twist on my ankle but I fixed it immediately. I could not let myself injure as I will suffer alots under the cold and a possible storm!!! After the CP1, we reached to sand dunes, and a short climb up to the top of the terra cotta cliff. The most terrible steep down, I dare not to look down on both side as every little mistake will make myself fall😢. Slowly going down and suddenly I heard Andrew the man behind me falling with the loose sand coming over me, all of a sudden I though I would be crashing with him! Luckily he stopped!! We run over the bumps looking back the cliff from time to time and head back to a straight sand crossing to the Finish. Q emotional today with the weather and the scene. I'm glad is over and you don't know how much I miss the hot water shower and my mattress and a glass of water.
Running almost alone the whole journey, smashing back on my way. And I'm glad I finished this.
Today is the most scenic, we run over the wet crossing and hit the canyon, beautiful beautiful in all terra-cotta colour sand. Rock climbed after the 21 km CP to 1313M, over the top with last a bit of steep rock descent continue to CP3. After the long beautiful crossing, we've back. And what will be look like tomorrow is still unknown I mean mentally and physically, 2 big blister one with blood and numb toes. Seriously shoulder and back pain and I feel my organ is screaming heavily!! Come back in 5 hours 14 mins.
patience. The bus arrives the Ger at 6AM in the morning, the race start
postpone to 10AM, we all have a 1 hour sleep before we enter the Gobi.
It was a brutal run, lack of sleep, the sun, and the sand. I was running
most of the time with Lisa and 2 other men.

And in fact i feel great and happy all the way, just feel not meaning my speed is great. It is the most because of this new globe where no one, in the middle of no where. I discover the new land and dream. I didn't feel tired at all and i believe my endorphins reaches the highest level (#new #firsttime) There have 3CP to go, total 40km today. i finish at a time of 5 hours 51 mins back to the camp. The support is awesome with doctor, volunteers, cutted oranges and apples, water and sports drinks. The only problem is i don't like to were my sunglasses and caps. I feel a bit of headache running long with them.
So excited for 4 reasons, 1. I will be in Outer Mongolia, very new to me and that satisfied my adventurous mind for many years I wanted to go to this kind of nomadic place. 2. I'm gonna run my very first Ultra marathon. 3. Gonna meet my friend Frederic, my good friend from Norway. 4. Going with Lyn and Evan and sharing our Ger imagine under the dazzling Galaxy.

I do lots of shopping for this trip, sleeping bag, trekking equipment, water purified tablets (serious?) etc. from the organizer compulsory list. Digging my innermost of 10 years girl guide experience. Can't described how excited I will be. And this explain I can't stay too long in a comfortable environment.

So all set to go, i packed light with on 1 backpack and one smaller rug sack. When we arrives the airport, we were told the flight delayed 4 hours. Which means we will be arriving Ulaanbaatar tonight around 11PM. The event organizer Action Asia started to distribute the tee shirts and the race bibs for all of us while we have nothing to do. We have already 2 meals at airports, and finally we are on board. We started to know each others on the plane and eventually i meet my Strava friend JC the very first time :) When we landed is already dark, weather is a bit cold. We quickly wear our jacket and moved to the shuttle bus. The lunch box is ready but we had our Pizza Express takeaway with us and the fun journey begins.

"There should be a 6 hours shuttle bus ride down south to take us to the start line."One of the local Mongolian girl told me and i found out later that she is the student from the local Medical school she came for volunteer us. What? 6 hours bus ride down south, i firstly recall the map and navigation that should be Gobi. I can't express my feeling, excited and unknown. Really can't believe we are really going there! I share the two seater with one local young Mongolian volunteer and ask her if she would like a piece of pizza, she looked very happy. And i'm happy. ON the way, i hardly can see any road sign, thumbs up to the driver. Really have no ideas where is the direction. The land is no ends, dark, rocks and sands. Until i see a bunch of camel with the lights coming from far sunrise, we almost there.

The race director decided to postpone the start time from 8AM to 10AM, so we've got an hour sleep. I remember when i landed from the bus, the first air breath in is so fresh and crisp. The land is strong and in terracotta colour. I rushed to our tent and greet Frederic, he has been waiting for us the whole night, we just say something and rushed our our sleeping bag and take a power sleep before we gone to wild.

Action Asia Ultra Marathon Mongolia, after 6 hours of bus ride and 1 hours sleep we all set at the start line.

Early Dec. 2015 in ShekO Beach.

2015 is not a year for me, have been suffering, lost my passion of work and sports. The whole year have been navigating where i am and never come to the shore or arrives any destination. I hope 2016 would be a better year for me, a new direction to be set off and take action to it. To summarize, this is my Top 10.

1. Accomplished 2 key project milestone on time with a new model type of new development concept. Having great experience working with a team of French and Canadian consultant where i learn from them and having some hard time too! In view of cultural difference towards government / contractual submission.
2. Thanks my boss who gives me lots of opportunities to fall (to bottom) and rising me back again. Understanding my weakness (effective presentation) is the key to success. I have pushes myself started to self debate, self talk, and practice public speaking. It really helped me alots.
3. The best of the year is i have my kitten arrives as part of my family. He called Micgo, adopted from a extended friend in Cheng Chau. A British short hair blue cat, now he is 8.5 months old. He brings lots of joy, worries and love to me. He is the best and i can't live without him now.
4. I have raced my 6th 70.3 Ironman race (not including 3 DNF over the past 8 years). It consist of 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21km run in beautiful Kenting, Taiwan. Come back 6th in my age group, i have actually did my personal best of the race, completing a strongest field of girls. Hopefully i can be on the podium again amongst the best girls. The post race is awesome with my Team Sonic throw in with street BBQ, wine with our beach house boss and family. Thanks my coach, Charles and my Physiotherapist who worked so hard behind to support me. Earlier this year, i have fail at Taiwan Challenge Half. My fall due to improper recovery, allergy and my guts is missing!! Have the worst time in TaiTung.
5. Have 6 wonderful trips this year (not including my business trip) scatter in Koh Samui, Paris, Tai Tung, Taipei, Kenting, and Japan (Nagoya, Kyoto & Osaka). The holiday with family in Koh Samui is relaxing while the Japan trip with my family is fun, I have long time didnt lived with them and it brings back a lots of being a daughter memory. The Paris trip is unforgettable, combining work. Being alone for 9 days it let me to explore the other side of me. Meet new friends, revisit some of the old place and new place. Just wish that Charles is with me when i'm eating alone.
6. This year, i'm not passionate about work nor sports. Sometimes, feeling so alone, numb & lost; The mood is not there. Yes, moody. (May due to the Chinese Zodiac of being Sheep of year 2015 and yes i'm 36)
7. Discovered new sports - Crossfit. Yeah! Women who can lift!
8. EMBA or not. Still NOT.
9. In early Sep, i went to a SUP yoga retreat in HK remote island. I feel the love, support, sea and embraced myself every minute. I see what i'm missing and what i missed. I need that to support my soul.
10. I'm always glad that i have best friends around from the girls i have been handing around for years after years and my Team Sonic fellas who always pushes me to the limits, encourage me not to give up. Thank you all :)
11. I almost forgot, i have passed Driving exam in early Sep.! So thrilled.
The pain, tears and sweat is overly exploded 3 weeks before the race day. The peak week made me like a monster, i could no longer hold on anymore. The training intensity increase, the duration increase, the stress and i have to cut down the sugar and carb. , my unfortunate illness (allergies) is coming back. I have loaded extremely much supplement since that week and with the mental strength and determination i overcome this physical condition!

The last two weeks before the race day is living in nightmare, i could not perform the best time neither in run nor swim and of course my solo bike ride! I started to ask myself why and is it because the session that i missed or physically my body is not ready? I'm living in doubt and feeling weak until it close to my tapering weak. It started to feel flushed out, not because my physical condition is in good shape, but i knew i could not do anythings better and i'll just leave it to my body!

Not to mentioned my back injury back in August, i have hurt badly from a Back squat attempting just 37.5kg at my box. ( Don't get it wrong here, i'm still believing the weight training is part of the key success) its takes exactly 3 months with intensive physiotherapy treatment

Some of my favorite moment:

The first afternoon SUPyoga exploring the hood.

The food that Dee and Nadine prepared mixed so well with the surprise BBQ dinner, the 3 meals prepare by Toxin (He is like our weekend cooks and credit to him to make the bed for us) The fresh fruit, coconut juice and the "Lick it" on the boat!!Amazing

The Bon fire with marshmallow, i haven't have a Bon fire since 16. It really bring back the memory!

The next day SUPyoga exploring the backyard beach with brunch of us paddling out.

The weather and the clear beaches, the sea water splash on my face, the autumn sun and the mile wind that i can feel on my face. And of course the laugh you girls bring to me:)

At Adobe, we’re passionate about developing leaders at all levels of the organization from individual contributors to people managers. Anyone who’s considering a career with us should know that we evaluate leadership based on these five capabilities:

Demonstrating Strong EQ (Be Aware) – Having a keen sense of self awareness is the foundation of leadership at Adobe. Whether you’re an individual contributor or a people manager, you’re someone who’s empathetic and mindful of your impact on others.

Selecting Talent (Be a Recruiter) – You’re a guardian and an ambassador for selecting talent at Adobe! You recommend and recruit only the best. You embrace diversity of ideas, experiences and working styles because you know that diverse teams drive better business results.

Role Modeling Check-In (Be a Coach) – We don’t believe in annual reviews and rankings. That’s why, feedback flows constantly at Adobe. To succeed, you’ll meet frequently with your manager to receive ongoing feedback, set challenging performance expectations, and pursue continuous development opportunities.

Leading change (Be an Agent of Change) – You readily adapt to business changes. Ambiguity or uncertainty never seems to stop you from working productively. You’re maniacally focused on execution and you’re always looking at new approaches to resolving issues.

Scaling the Business (Be an Owner) – You approach your role as if you own the business. The buck stops with you. Your goal is to always deliver an exceptional customer experience by listening to feedback and continuously looking to improve efficiencies.
