Past few weeks were very busy and very inspiring at the same time. Apart from all the exhibitions, events, visiting hundreds of stands at the fair and seeing many many MANY furniture during Milan design week it's the perfect time to explore the city and get the chance to enter to secret gardens of Milan. I love the location where Paola Lenti has exhibited their new products, they transformed courtyards that are already so beautiful into gardens from heaven with their textured furniture and very successful landscape designing.

Here I am wearing long skirt during Paris fashion week, you'll remember as I've mentioned it before that I've wanted to wear maxi skirt during fashion week too* but I wasn't sure if I could wear it, working while wearing maxi isn't very practical and I was afraid I would have step on it and fell. Turns out I was afraid for nothing! Survived without any kind of embarrassment, specially shooting during the show in Tuileries wasn't so easy but still nothing happened. Other than I was getting my pictures taking while I had to take pictures. :) 

Wind factor helped to create some entertaining scenes, and as if wind wasn't enough I was told to spin around for photos**! I don't know where all the other photos will be published but I have few that I can show you with my double skirt look. 

*I love it, I think it has a very romantic look! 
**I had fun but I was a little embarrassed!

Busy taking photos and fighting with the cold-wind I couldn't show you what I was wearing last few days. It was milder than this but finally after very freezing Saturday I was decided to stay warm no matter what. I wore many layers...And barely survived. ;) Don't forget to check Street TONIC to see looks form New York Fashion Week...

I can't explain how happy and excited I am to be able to go to NY one more time. This time not for holiday but to work! And to do a work that I enjoy doing so much! So it's still a pleasure :)

This is one of my favorite cape top/dress. I got it made by a dear friend who designs and makes knitted accessories and clothing! Recently she've asked me to model her creations for her web shop. If you follow the link above you'll find her amazing creations. She was kind enough to give me as a gift a selection of pieces that I liked. I adore all of them. 

I like to wear cape's with a belt if possible so it shows the figure a bit better. And this cape top/dress is just perfect to wear with a belt. And I love the colour!

She Was.......

Two weeks ago... I was very worried about my grandma's health as she was taken in to hospital. I cancel all plans and I get there as soon as possible to see her. But! I couldn't make it on time!

The heartache of loosing my grandmother is very difficult to deal with. I try to be strong but we cry most of the time. All family and friends gather at our house as we wait the next day for the funeral. Everyone that comes brings something to eat. But no one can eat! Many children around, they don't really know so they play, lough and remind us things we don't remember.

I go to her house, which is next door to ours. I sit where I used to sit when she was there. It feels like a lie. Her house is untouched everything is just like it used to be. Very organized, picture frames holding pictures of her children, Grandchildren and friends, many flowers, it's almost like a garden, many little objects on the shelves. I touch, smell and imagine that she was there.

Looking at old pictures, remembering, organizing all the photos we've got in our family albums and also my Grandma's! Yes this is what I did to keep myself busy and think about her life and not the ending!

She was....beautiful, pure white skin, almost purple like blue eyes, cotton white hair. Once very long and brown! She has been always very careful on what she was wearing. She loved accessories, she had her rings and earring till the last minute. She loved to use brooches, she wouldn't be seen without wearing one. Her bags, her clothing. I remember many times going there and asking her to browse through her stuff and find something to take. She never said no!

Now I left everything in it's place. As long as they are there I'll feel that she may be there too!

After many weeks in absence here I am. I feel very guilty about not being able to post for few weeks (I'll tell you all about it soon) but I've been very busy!!! Maybe not so much the last week as I've gave a brake for all of it and spend the holidays in the mountains, some ski and relax . And what do you need when you are in mountains and there is snow?? Wear warm clothes and shoes* right?!!! This feather jacket is one of my favorite, it's very light but keeps me very warm and the other essential to keep the 25% heat not to go away from the head which is a furry hat that does that job very well!

*Part of my holiday was 'relax' in the Spa and there wasn't so much warm clothing involved! Only bikini+snow+sauna+pools.....etc and the rope that never stayed warm or dry!!! But then again, it's okay to be cold when you can jump back in to hot pool or sauna!! Loved it!

Last week, I was invited along with a few other bloggers (Andrea, Filippo and Tea) to take part in the presentation of the Range Rover Evoque. For this new car, Range Rover has recruited 40 global “city shapers” to drive the new Range Rover Evoque car and be part of the Pulse of the City campaign. The City Shapers taking part in the ‘Pulse of the City’ are influential in their cities and have interesting points of view that people listen to. They come from different aspects of culture that make up the varied nature of their cities, from arts, the creative industry, film, music, fashion, media. Natasha Slater, Nail Barrett, Francesca Versace and Sergio Cerruti who are City shapers for the Pulse of the City project-Milan have created their journey with their favorite spots in the city, you can see their journeys in Milan on the Hello Evoque web page.

For an eternal Smart car fan and design lover like myself I found the sculptural iron frame car very interesting. It was displayed at the event the night before, and at the motor show! The pink lines of this wire frame sculpture, as you can see, define and show the curves and edges of the Evoque perfectly. I'm sure this new smaller and more eco friendly Range Rover will appeal to many young, urban minded drivers. I'd just have to find somewhere to park it!!

Here I found myself at the mountain in heels(completely coincidence)! But I have to say these are very comfy ones. It's not so often I can say my shoes doesn't give me pain (or extreme pain). These Jeffrey Campbell ones has proven themselves in very difficult condition. Such as trying to climb, walking on the road that is uphill-downhill etc...They or on my shoe shelf right beside the ballets and flats.

I've tried another new thing that day. Which is my new Asos tale jumper. I was looking for something like that since I took photos of Christine Centenera and saw her in similar jumper for few more times after that. I love the little illusion that this jumper has with it's long back.

Annd the third new thing or things are my new necklace and rings from my collection! I enjoyed so much designing them and enjoying way much more wearing them. I hope you like them too!!!

Today I've been to Karla Otto's offices to see the Lanvin for H&M collection upclose. After seeing the images of the collection I had some doubts as to whether or not they would actually make me get up really early and stress about buying them! But now I am very sure that I will set my alarm for a very early time so I can be there.

Most probably you have already seen all the looks and overall pictures of the pieces, therefore I am posting few detail photos I took today.

They are absolutely gorgeous! The quality is very good. Silky fabrics are really nice to touch. The rough edges look great on the dresses. The Trench coat with double layering and reverse stitching is just perfect!! The faux fur jacket really soft and completely flawless....If I tell you my personal choices you will see that not only my sleep will be ruined that day also my bank account will be seriously damaged!

And this is coming from someone who is totally against with waiting in line to get into a shop to spend money! I can't imagine what will happen on 23th of November. Good luck :)

Certainly these coloured watches are grabbing my attention since last summer! I have bought few in different shapes colours etc... But these O Clock ones are by far my favorites! I am a loyal lover of geometry so obviously these are talking to me with their pure geometrical form, infact they are calling me! And happens again I find myself with the question of which colour should I get??

I just loved the dresses, If I don't decide to sleep early morning of 23th November I'll be in line to get few pieces.

Each year when there is a H&M collaboration I feel I can do it! I mean I can go to the shop very early, wait in line and shop (fight to shop)! But when the day comes either I have so much to do or simply I can't push myself out of the bed very early in the morning thinking all the people will be there and possibilities that will bring! So I don't go! I'm not a push, fight to shop, scream type of shopper! I don't like the crowd and running after some clothes like people running after food after months of hunger! But! You never know! These Lanvin for H&M dresses looks like will change my mind! Excited! :)

Despite of the rain today I couldn't miss the antique market that happens every last Sunday of the month here in Milano. I love browsing through vintage bags, jewelry and furniture. I've found so many nice jewelry and sunglasses, also few pair of shoes and boots, unfortunately they weren't my size so I had to say ciao to them. I'm already looking forward for next months last Sunday! Hopefully it won't rain, and I won't have to hold my umbrella, my bag, one glove, and watch myself from all the other peoples umbrellas + keeping the umbrella out of the stands while looking to things so sellers wouldn't scream ''you are dripping water on the stuff'' :) You can see I had such fun day at the market today!!!
