Is this for real ? The most arch rival enemy want to trade player. The Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre was last night on the verge of an astonishing move to bitter rivals Arsenal.

The 31-year-old France international had been approached by Arsenal on the verge of medical check up with Manchester City.

An Arsenal insider confirmed: “Arsene has been looking for experienced cover for Gael Clichy and he knows all about Mikael.

Arsenal will expect to pay United around £750,000 for a player who moved to Old Trafford for £4M from Inter Milan in the 1998-99 season and will offer him £50,000-a-week.

This will be the first time in 12 years the two manager Arsene Wenger and Sir Alex Ferguson traded player if this transfer goes through. Silvestre, who has made 361 appearances for United in all competitions, was granted a free transfer after failing in getting first eleven in Man United starting line up.

Arsenal with French influence is a perfect team to move.Wenger wants to integrate Silvestre into a defensive unit that already contains Frenchmen Gael Clichy and William Gallas. Finally, Fergie long awaited striker is in his hand. After pursuing for 18 months, Dimitar Berbatov is expected to agree personal terms and seal his £25million move to Manchester United. This will make Sir Alex Ferguson dream come true to field his dream attacking line-up featuring Berbatov, Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo when the latter two regain health and fitness.

The Bulgarian Kapitan, a 27-year-old forward will be offered a four-year deal worth in the region of £80,000-a-week. United hope he will appear on their official pre-season team photo, scheduled to be taken on Friday.

With his statistic last season , Berbatov will be a perfect replacement for top scorer Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Man U has been missing Nistelrooy for quite some time, they have banking on Ronaldo to deliver rather than their striker.

Real Madrid has end the speculation about Van De Vart when signing him on Tuesday from Hamburg SV.Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has signed a five-year deal and passed a medical in the morning and the transfer is reported to be worth around £10.3million.He will become the third signing for Real Madrid, after Rubén de la Red and Javi Garcia and fifth Dutch player in the current squad, following Arjen Robben, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Royston Drenthe and Wesley Sneijder into the Santiago Bernabéu.

Dream come True

It has been his dream linked with a move to the La Liga Champions and now he has secured his dream move to Real. Wesley Sneijder injury was the main reason the deal was sped up. His Dutch compatriot damaged cruciate ligaments in the Emirates Cup against Arsenal. It is expected that Sneijder will be out for at least 3 months and Real needed to find a replacement quickly. In Van der Vaart, they have certainly found a player who can fill in and then challenge for the starting spot when Sneijder makes his return.

Andrei Arshavin is world-class playmaker. His performance during Euro 2008 has mesmerized all soccer fan. He was the key factor behind trashing Holland 3-1 to qualify for semi final against Spain.

Sadly, his dream club Barca is not interested to sign him. However Spurs show some interest. Will looking forward to see his skill, pass and dribble in EPL. Will Spurs become the new giant in EPL we will see.

Played in left wing, will provide unthinkable through pass, simple dribble and pin point cross, that is Arshavin. Small but fast,just like Messi :).

I was late since I got to went back home and fetch my wife to the event. We rushed to the stadium and saw all the player training. Running and shooting the ball. Actually I am not Chelsea fan just a soccer fan. It's really great to see world class player training. Thanks to Kenny Sia, who gave me the pass.

I did take picture with him, not so big la Kenny, just chubby hehe.

Overall, just ok since I thought I can take picture with player hehe. Anyway, good luck Chelsea for next season.

The Mighty Chelsea will be here in Malaysia.John Terry and Co will have friendly tournament with our Senior and Junior National Team on 29 July 2008. Exhibition match is like a training match for me. Usually our team will "kena belasah" by them.That is normal. But if you realise, Thailand will fight to the end if they have friendly match.If I am not mistaken,Thailand manage to draw with Holland during their warm up match for World Cup lats time.

But here in Malaysia, we take it as exhibition match, more relax and skill show off. Anyway, as long I can see Lampard,Drogba,Ashley Cole and other live is good enough .Maybe you can expect Peter Chech to score goal this time haha, just kidding.

Personally, I think our national team has improved a little bit ok lar. Especially new young talent U23. Hopefully they will play at a highest level in the future and bring back the glory. One player that is rising is Kedah player Kyril Muhaimin and Selangor's Safee Sali. A striker with a goal scoring killer instinct. Safee Sali bicycle kick goal against Singapore is a prove, we still got talent.

What are Soccer Drills?

Soccer drills are a set of exercises that are focused on optimizing a particular skill in soccer. As in a workout, soccer drills complement each other. Some soccer drills focus on the improvement of the thigh area, so that a player can have enough leg power while running in the field. Some soccer drills specialize in optimizing the hamstrings, because it is important for fast and flexible movement of the hips. It works like a workout scheme wherein you use certain machines that aim to strengthen a particular part of your body. In soccer drills, you practice in order to make a particular part of your body strong enough in order to fit the demands of the game. More than that, soccer drills are also practiced in the field. It not only strengthens one’s body but also makes one practice soccer in a particular area of specialization, such as dribbling, passing, etc.

The Importance of Soccer Drills

If soccer drills were not undertaken, then there probably wouldn’t be any person good enough to play the game. Old champion AC MILAN were defeated by new young gunners, Arsenal by a long shot from magnificent Fabregas and a simple tap from Adebayor.

Even Pato cannot save Milan this time, with half of the team are aging and 5th in Serie A. AC Milan should overhaul their team from scratch.

Arsene Wenger said Martin Taylor should "never play football again" after the captain's tackle broke Eduardo's leg.

Eduardo will be in injury list for a long time with that kind od injury. With Robbie Van Persie still recovering Arsenal will rely hope on Bendtner and Adebayor. Which is not in good relationship , you know what I mean.

Arsenal will have problem with those two upfront. You can see that these two striker is not communicating against Birmingham. Arsenal should have win if Adebayor pass the ball to Bendtner instead he try to take it by himself. I believe Arsenal will have a big problem upfront in the future.

It seem that Adidas 40+ years relationship would end. Well, Adidas has two sweet memories when France won the World Cup 1998 and Euro 2002.With Zidane as their maestro.
