I am no longer a swap virgin! Fede was an awesome person to start my swaps with! She's from Palermo, Italy and we exchanged plenty of emails before we settled what we would be sending to each other. We agreed to do a semi-surprise swap so we promised to send a couple of standard items and leave the rest up to our imaginations! Fede sent me an awesome top that I love and am waiting for the perfect time to wear it! I got a moka thats an expresso machine and Ive already tried it (interesting experience yall! If you're ever gonna do a swap with someone from Italy you should ask them to get you a moka!) She also sent me a couple of postcards, 3 pairs of
earrings, a bangle, newspaper, a notepaper set (complete with a cute eraser and a pencil!) and a notebook! We will also agreed to do a couple of follow-up swaps where we will send each other a couple of things ever few months or so and I really cant wait! So yes, thank you fede! I'm really glad I got to meet you through GYS. I will neverever forget you! And one day maybe we will meet for real ( : love ya babe!

My first swap at all, was with Samantha. She is very nice and sweet, and I'm so happy to know her! I contacted her in august and we talked a lot via email, we talked of all! Then,after holydays, we sent the parcel..! When I opened mine it was a surprise, I was so excited and happy..There are a lot of things! The theme we both chose was that it had to be half handmade or personalized. So with this, Anna went out and researched about cosplay (one of my favorite hobbies) and made me this cute little album that has cosplay pictures in it! She also made me some earrings and sent pictures of herself with her dog in my package! It was so cute! I had a lot of fun for my first swap and everything she got me I absolutely adore. p.s. I couldn't wait to wear the arm warmers and put them on, even though it was 91 degrees over here. ^_^

British perfection in a boxI just got my package from Iris in England, and it definately was a pick of England´s finest! Lovely powder blue fabric with flowers (very British, I think), multicoloured sockyarn in silk/merino, in all of my favourite colours, a copy of Rowan magazine (my first!), some chocolate, candles (hey, I live in Sweden, we worship candles over here), a book on tea... Swap love in EnglandMalin is a fantastic person to swap with. She is so interesting and so kind, and I really enjoyed our email exchanges before the swap. The parcel that she sent me is just amazing. I absolutely adore the handmade bag she sent me, and the fabric is just great. She was right about every single item she sent in that parcel - I love everything about it. There were some more things, namely some yummy chocolate and some rosehip soup and almond biscuits but they were eaten before I could take the picture!! England to PennsylvaniaUnwrapping Vickie's package was like opening a treasure chest of candy! My husband was very excited to receive the Wine Gums, which were the only British candy we'd really requested. Everything else Vickie sent was wonderful - I've eaten way too much candy already! The other little items she sent were so sweet and thoughtful, too. Shopping for Vickie was fun for me, because I don't scrapbook, so it was fun to go through the papercrafting aisles and choose items for her to use. Finally, my package from Italy arrives ! I'm so happy to see all nice items sent by Chiara. Lots of goodies such as chocolate, hair accessories, bracelets, stationery, soap, Custard Shower Gel, face mask, lip gloss, a lucky stone and mini tower of PISA (not shown here). Too bad, when I receive the package , the soap leaked during the transition and drenched the package. But luckily, no major damage to the package contents..All in all, this swap has been fantastic.

What I really loved was that she sent me a lot fo craft stuff... For a craft buff like me, it was an absolute treasure trove..... craft punches, paper, stencils and what not!
