Hello All,

Here is a work around that I have found to do a BMR from a iscsi windows backup using the 2K8 install disk.

How to bare metal restore a backup form an iscsi drive made with the Windows 2008 Server Backup utility.

1) On a network connected computer use the iscsi initiator to connect to the iscsi target that housed the Windows 2008 system backup.

2) Using Windows share the newly connected drive on the network.

3) Boot your new hardware from the 2K8 install disk.

4) At the install Windows screen Select your regional settings and Next

5) Select Repair your computer

6) System Recovery Options should be blank for BRM, click Next

7) Select Windows Complete PC Restore

8) At the alert window select cancel

9) Select Restore a different backup and Next

10) Click Advanced and Search for a backup on the network

11) Select yes to connect to the network

12) Enter the unc path to the computer and share above and OK

13) Enter your credentials and OK

14) Select the backup and Next

15) Select the backup time to restore to and Next

16) Next

17) Finish (note the drive you restore to will need to be at least the same size as the drive that the computer was imaged from)

18) Confirm that you want to format the new drive and OK

Oggi ho simpaticamente scoperto che gli UPS APC con le batterie scariche o difettose, una volta spenti non si riaccendono più!

Bene:
Va via la corrente, le batterie cedono. Cade tutto.

Torna la corrente... E che bella sorpresa NON VA NULLA!
L'UPS non si può nemmeno riaccendere a mano!!! SCANDALOSO!!!!

Per riaccendere i nostri server dobbiamo aspettare che arrivino le batterie nuove.

Provato subito con un altro gruppo della "EPC" (European Power Conversion". Chiaramente il gruppo si accende anche senza batterie... segnalandomi che è senza batterie...

Provato con un "Emerson's Liebert".. Ovviamente anche lui si accende tranquillamente senza batterie e mi segnala che c'è un problema sulle batterie.

Per non parlare dello stato delle batterie dopo 3-4 anni.

Altre marche: Batterie praticamente nuove. (Perfettamente funzionanti)
APC: Batterie che si allargano ed esplodono con conseguente uscita di acido/gel

Bisogna smontare tutto il gruppo per tirare fuori i pezzi delle batterie...

Postero presto le foto.

Altra cagata che non sopporto:

4 x Batterie Cinesi 12V 7A/h = 40 Euro
4 x BOSH Made in Germany di altissima qualità: 120 Euro
Batterie Originali APC (Cinesi!!)= 260 Euro (??? CINQUE VOLTE TANTO ???)

Saranno gli adesivi che APC mette sopra le sua batterie cinesi che costano oltre 100€ l'uno?
O sarà anche che almeno ti costringono a cambiare ogni 3 anni?

SCANDALOSO:

Rete WIND Milano - Celle 3G (UMTS - HSDPA) sature!!

Negli ultimi 2 mesi, la qualità della connessione dati Wind nella mia zona (P.ta Genova / P.ta Ticinese) è peggiorata in maniera incredibile. Alle 5 di notte: 6 MEGABIT.. alle 22 di sera: 0 bit/s
Segnale 5 su 6... e per magari 4-5 minuti 0K/s !!!!!!!!
Continuano a cadere anche le chiamate voce..

Mi sa che qualche volta, la cella 3G va in palla e fa un reboot che magari dura anche 10 minuti.
Forse lo switch voce tra un ponte 3G e GSM non si può fare e tutte le chiamate in corso sulla cella 3G cadono.

Poco fa ho chiamato il 155.. Dopo nemmeno 1 minuto mi risponde un operatore molto gentile ed educato.
Gli parlo del mio problema.. in pratica mi dice:
Si si.. le celle di Milano, soprattutto nella sua zona, sono congestionate. Molti clienti chiamano per lamentarsi...

Nemmeno lui però aveva la minima idea di quando Wind risolverà il problema.

WIND RIPIGLIATEVI!!
Nel frattempo prenderò una ricaricabile con un altro operatore....

Guida : Attaccare reti wifi WPA/WPA2 con Back|Track 5 (CPU e CUDA)

Attenzione: Non operare su reti wifi senza autorizzazione.
Lo scopo di questa guida è fornire una conoscienza della sicurezza delle proprie reti.

A livello aziendale, una prova di attacco alla propria rete (penetration - testing) è un’ottima attività per sicurity - hardening.
Si può vedere infatti nell’articolo, nel cado del wpa/wpa2 che una password complessa, non necessariamente molto lunga, diventa quasi impossibile da craccare.

(A) Solo CPU / scheda grafica generica

Passo 1 :

airmon-ng

Se la vostra scheda di rete viene identificata, il risultato dovrebbe essere tipo:

Interface    Chipset      Driver
wlan0        Intel 5100   iwlagn - [phy0]

Passo 2 :

airmon-ng start wlan0

Questo comando fa partire la vostra scheda wifi in modalità “monitor” (indispensabile).
A questo punto, la nostra nuova scheda di rete virtuale mon0, è in grado di catturare tutti i pacchetti da e verso l’ap.
Se la scheda wifi non sopporta la modalità monitor/promisqua non vi conviene impazzire cercando i driver.
Con una chiavetta wifi da 10-12 euro risolvete al volo.

Passo 3 (Opzionale cambio mac) :

E’ possibile volendo, cambiare l’indirizzo fisico della scheda mon0 (mac address)

ifconfig mon0 down
macchanger -m 00:11:22:33:44:55 mon0
ifconfig mon0 up

Passo 4 :

airodump-ng mon0

Airdump inizia a catturare alcuni pacchetti.
Dopo alcuni secondi premere "Ctrl+c" per fermare il programma.

Passo 5 :

airodump-ng -c 3 -w wpacrack --bssid ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff --ivs mon0

Dove:   -c è il canale
-w è il file da scrivere
            --bssid is the BSSID

Per determinare il BSSID vi sono vari tool.
Su Back-track 5 si puo trovare “GERIX” una GUI per aircrack che rende semplici molte cose.

A questo punto, continuiamo a catturare pacchetti finchè un client si autentica.

Passo 6 :

Se siamo abbastanza vicini all’AP e c’è un client connesso, si possono mandare dei segnali di deautenticazione e obbligarlo ad andare per un po’ off-line.

In un nuovo terminale (mentre airdump sta catturando)

aireplay-ng -0 1 -a ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff -c 99:38:72:36:45:24 mon0

Dove: -a è il BSSID
       -c è il mac address del client connesso (si vede nel terminale di airdump)

Dopo alcuni secondo il client torna on-line e a quel punto airdump cattura l’handshake.

A questo punto possiamo fermare il programma.
Il crack della rete viene fatto off-line.

Passo 7 :

Possiamo usare John the Ripper come un dizionario per crackare la password WPA/WP2.

aircrack-ng -w /pentest/passwords/john/password.lst wpacrack-01.ivs

Passo 8 (Opzionale) :

Anzichè John the Ripper come dizionario, si può usare Crunch.

(B) Con scheda grafica nVidia con CUDA

Se si dispone di una scheda grafica nVidia con CUDA, è possibile usare pyrit per craccare la password con crunch.
I passi da 1 a 6 servono per catturare il pacchetto handshake da craccare.
Seguire i seguenti passi per utilizzare cuda.

Passo 9 :

Installiamo le librerie necessarie:
apt-get install libghc6-zlib-dev libssl-dev python-dev libpcap-dev python-scapy

Passo 10 :

Ecco le performance di Aircrack sul mio PC Intel I7 (Win7 Utlimate 64)

Sembra tenere una media di 4300 parole al secondo.

Il mio portatile Centrino2 a 1,6Ghz fa una media di 800 parole/s

Tra breve test con PYRIT / CUDA con nvidia 8800GT! Dovremmo passare le 10.000 parole/s!!!!

(A) General Display card

Step 1 :

The result will be something like :

If you do not want to use John the Ripper as word list, you can use Crunch.

Si! Hai capito bene. Anche con wpa.
Provato! Funziona. Il cracking poi viene fatto off-line.
Il problema è che il criptaggio è abbastanza pesante.
Il mio Centrino 2 (portatile) fa 800 parole al secondo.
Su una bella macchina potremmo arrivare anche a 10.000 (?)
Con dizionari giganteschi (ne ho trovato uno da 10 giga!) occorrerebbero comunque dei giorni e con scarsa probabilità.

Se per esempio la pwd è: DEgf!2wa diventa già abbastanza difficile..

Password composte da nomi, date, marche sarebbero da evitare.

Gli attacchi brute-force in questo caso non hanno senso (256 bit!!).

Post-installation information

After you apply this hotfix package, you must run the SharePoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard.

Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.

Change to the following directory:

Something every engineer who has SBS fall within their brief dreads, is one day having to rebuild the Internal Database, Sharepoint, IIS and CompanyWeb components. Due to a recent natural disaster, we had to restore a client's server from backup, which required a new identical server be built and data restored into it from backup. The system state restore process restored the client's data, but broke pretty much every native component on our new SBS server. And, while there were documented procedures for some of the issues, even the SBS repair guide doesn't seem to have a procedure yet (03/07/11) for reinstalling the SBS 2008 CompanyWeb Website. It took a fair bit of trial and error to get it going. So, hopefully this will help someone stuck in the same situation.

This post will cover the below topics required to rebuild the core SBS 2008 Web Components from the ground up, all of which combine to reinstate the CompanyWeb website. However, you can pick and choose which parts might be relevant to your situation;

Removing the Windows Internal Database.
Reinstalling the Windows Internal Database
Reinstall Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2.
Reinstall Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0.
Create a new SBS Sharepoint Web Application.
Reinstall the SBS 2008 CompanyWeb Website.
Testing

IMPORTANT - Please ensure you have a backup of your system and proceed with caution. These steps should be used as a reference only, your individual situation may vary. The Windows Internal Database by default contains the WSUS and Sharepoint and Sharepoint Search databases. This procedure assumes there is no data in any of these databases that you wish to keep.

IMPORTANT - Ensure your system is completely patched and up-to-date.

IMPORTANT - Ensure you logon as the Domain Administrator account only for all of the below steps.

Requirements
What you will need...

a. A backup of the server you are trying to repair.
b. Another SBS 2008 Standard/Premium Server with a known good CompanyWeb Website.
c. WSUS 3.0 SP2 x64 installation package.

Procedure
Keep in mind that you can skip any of these steps if they are not required for your situation, in my case the Windows Internal Database wouldn't even start, so we had to start with that. If your WID is working ok and you trust it then skip forward to the 'Reinstall Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0' step.

Step 1 - Remove the Windows Internal Database
The Windows Internal Database is nothing more than a rebadged instance of SQL 2005 Express. So with that in mind, we can treat it like all other instances of SQL Express right?...Well no, but similar :) It doesn't appear in the list of installed programs, so we need to uninstall it manually. First of all we need to remove WSUS and WSS.

a. Remove WSUS > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2 > Uninstall.
b. Select the checkboxes to remove Database, Log Files, and Update Files.
c. Remove Sharepoint Services > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 > Uninstall.
d. Select Yes to the warnings that appear when removing Sharepoint.
e. Restart the server.
f. Open an elevated Command Prompt (right-click > Run as administrator) > and type;

msiexec /x {BDD79957-5801-4A2D-B09E-852E7FA64D01} CALLERID=ocsetup.exe

f. Click 'Yes' to confirm you want uninstall this product.
g. Check the event log for 'Event ID 11724' which will inform you the Windows Internal Database was removed successfully.
h. Restart the server.

You now have an SBS 2008 Server without Sharepoint, WSUS, and the Internal Database. Scared yet? Well don't be... it's actually quite an easy process to get it to where it should be from here.

Step 2 - Reinstall the Windows Internal Database
The Windows Internal Database for SBS 2008 is installed as part of the WSUS 3.0 and Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0 installations, if you plan on reinstalling these anyway (which I suspect most people will) proceed to Step 3 - Reinstall Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2. However for the purpose of this demonstation and to further demystify the Windows Internal Database we will install it manually in this step.

a. Open an elevated command prompt (right-click Run as administrator) and type the below;

ServerManagerCmd.exe -install Windows-Internal-DB

b. Open Services, and confirm there is now a 'Windows Internal Database (MICROSOFT ##SSEE)' Service listed.
c. Change the service startup type to Automatic.
d. Restart the server.

Step 3 - Reinstall Windows Server Update Services 3.0 SP2
a. Download WSUS 3.0 SP2 x64 from here and right-click > Run as administrator.
b. Select the defaults or customise your installation. A detailed guide on how to setup WSUS can be found here.

Step 4 - Reinstall Windows Sharepoint Services 3.0
NOTE - If you have skipped forward to this step, ensure you remove Sharepoint first using Programs and Features > Windows Sharepoint Services > Uninstall.

a. Open DNS Management > Administrative Tools > DNS > Forward Lookup Zones > Ensure there is a 'CompanyWeb' Alias (CNAME) listed and that it maps to your server, if not create this now.
b. Open IIS > Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services IIS Manager > Sites > Ensure the SBS Sharepoint and Sharepoint Central Administration websites are not present, if they are > right-click and Remove.
c. Open Registry Editor, navigate to >

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\VSS\VssAccessControl\

d. Find the entry named: NT Authority\NETWORK SERVICE, and then, if needed, change the value from 0x0 to 0x1.
e. Reinstall Sharepoint > Browse to > C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Bin\CMPNENTS\WSS.
f. Right-click Setup.exe > Run as administrator. Select the option to Run the Sharepoint Products and Technologies Configuration Wizard.
g. When the wizard completes, restart the server.
h. Open the Sharepoint Central Administrator Console > Administrative Tools > Sharepoint 3.0 Central Adminstration > Open Application Management > select Remove Sharepoint from IIS Website > ensure SharePoint - 80 (Default) is selected in the IIS Website and zone to remove option > Select Yes to Delete the IIS Web sites and > Click OK.
i. Go back to Application Management Tab > Select Delete Web Application > in the Web Application: drop down box, ensure the Sharepoint - 80 site is select (by default this will be http://server/, drop down and select 'Change Web Application to be sure).
j. Select Yes in the option to 'Delete content databases' and Yes to 'Delete IIS Web Sites' > click 'Delete'.
k. From within 'Application Management' select > View Application List > Ensure the 'Sharepoint - 80' Website no longer exists and only the 'Sharepoint Central Administration' Site remains.
g. Open IIS > Sites > And start the Default Website.
h. Update the machine using Windows Update > Ensure you check the option to 'Check online for Updates'.

Step 5 - Recreate the SBS Sharepoint Site and Application Pool in IIS
a. Open the Sharepoint Central Administration Console > Administrative Tools > Sharepoint 3.0 Central Administration.
b. Open the Application Management Tab > select Create or extend Web Application > select Create a new Web application.
c. Create a new IIS web site > description: SBS Sharepoint.
d. Port: 80
e. Host Header: Companyweb
f. Path: C:\Program Files\Windows Small Business Server\Bin\WebApp\InternalWebSite
g. Authentication provider: NTLM
h. Allow Anonymous: No
i. Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL): No
j. URL: http://companyweb:80
k. Create new Application Pool: SBS Sharepoint
l. Select a security account for this application pool: Network Service
m. Database Server: \Microsoft##SSEE (leave as default).
n. Database Name: WSS_Content (leave as default).
o. Database Authentication: Windows Authentication (recommended).
p. Select Windows Sharepoint Services Search server:
q. Click 'OK' to proceed and wait while changes are processed, can take some time.
r. Open IIS > click on > then in the right hand Actions column > select Restart.
s. Expand Sites > and press F5 > the Default Website will now likely be stopped and you will have an 'SBS Sharepoint' site listed.
t. Right-click on the SBS Sharepoint site > select Edit Bindings > click on http and 'Edit' > add the Host name 'Companyweb' (without quotes).
u. Right-click on the Default Website > Manage Web Site > Start.

Step 6 - Reinstall the SBS 2008 CompanyWeb Website
a. Connect to another SBS 2008 server that has a known working Companyweb website.
b. Open an elevated Command Prompt (right-click Run as administrator).
c. To export the CompanyWeb website from the known good server, type the below commands.

cd c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN
stsadm –o backup –url http://companyweb –filename C:\backup.bak -overwrite

NOTE - If the source server has a different URL configured for the Companyweb site, you will need to change this in the above command. To check which URL the source server is using open Sharepoint Central Console > Application Management > Web application general settings > and check the 'Web Application: URL' at the top of the page and type it exactly as it appears, i.e. using https and :987 if non-standard. For example, SBS 2008 servers are configured to use https://fqdn:987 for the Companyweb site.

NOTE - For some weird reason, you may have to type the stsadm commands manually.

d. Copy the exported 'backup.bak' to the server you are attempting to repair.
e. This step is important, as it ensures your Sharepoint is patched and up to date > Completely patch the machine using Windows Update > Ensure you select the option to 'Check online for updates from Windows Update'.
e. Once patching is complete > Restart the server.
f. Open an elevated command prompt on the destination server and type the below (on separate lines).

cd c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\bin
stsadm -o restore -url http://companyweb -filename c:\backup.bak -overwrite

NOTE - If you receive the 'Your backup is from a different version of Windows Sharepoint etc...' error you will need to go back and update the server using Windows Update and ensure it is completely up to date. Ensure you use 'Check online for udpates from Windows Update'. Restores can only be done to the same of newer versions of Sharepoint than the source server had installed.

g. Next you need to set the correct admin rights on the new CompanyWeb site.

cd c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\12\bin
stsadm –o siteowner –url http://companyweb –ownerlogin YOURDOMAIN\Administrator

h. Login to CompanyWeb as the Administrator > open your Internet browser > http://companyweb > browse to > Site Settings > People and Groups > Delete the Administrator Account from the server you copied the CW template from.
i. Add the Domain Users group with Design rights.
j. Open IIS Manager again > Configure an SSL Binding on port 987 for the SBS Sharepoint Website using your companies certificate.

Step 7 - Testing
a. Check the 'Site Collection List' and ensure all settings are ok.
b. Browse to http://companyweb and ensure access is ok for Administrators and Domain Users.
c. Access Remote Web Workplace and connect to Company Site, this ensure the https://companyweb:987 binding is also working properly.

Aumentare il limite di 18GB del db di Exchange 2003 SP2

In Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) sono state incluse nuove funzionalità. Attualmente, è possibile configurare i limiti per le dimensioni del database.

Il limite delle dimensioni del database di Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition è stato aumentato da 16 a 18 GB. Questo limite può essere aumentato fino a 75 GB utilizzando una chiave del Registro di sistema.

In Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition non è previsto un limite massimo per le dimensioni del database.

Per ulteriori informazioni sull'impostazione del limite delle dimensioni del database, consultare l'argomento della Guida in linea di Exchange Server 2003. L'argomento della Guida è stato aggiornato durante l'installazione di Exchange Server 2003 SP2.

Importante In questa sezione, metodo o attività, viene spiegato come modificare il Registro di sistema. Un'errata modifica del Registro di sistema può causare seri problemi. Attenersi, quindi, scrupolosamente alla procedura indicata. Per una maggiore sicurezza, eseguire una copia di backup del Registro di sistema prima di modificarlo. Per aumentare automaticamente il limite delle dimensioni del database di Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2, accedere alla sezione "Correzione automatica". Per risolvere il problema autonomamente, accedere alla sezione "Correzione manuale".

Correzione automatica

Per risolvere il problema automaticamente, fare clic sul pulsante o sul collegamento Fix it. Fare clic, quindi, su Esegui nella finestra di dialogo Download file e attenersi alla procedura guidata Fix it.

La correzione automatica funziona solo per Exchange Server 2003 SP2 Standard Edition. In Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition non è previsto un limite predefinito configurato per le dimensioni del database.
Nella casella del valore, inserire un numero intero compreso tra 1 e 75. I valori interi rappresentano la dimensione massima del database in gigabyte (GB).
Questa procedura guidata è disponibile solo in inglese. La correzione automatica, tuttavia, funziona anche per versioni di Windows in altre lingue.
Se il problema non si verifica sul computer utilizzato ma su un altro computer, salvare la soluzione Fix it su un'unità di memoria flash o su un CD ed eseguire la correzione sul computer che presenta il problema.

Correzione manuale

Per aumentare la dimensione del database di Exchange Server 2003 SP2, attenersi alla procedura seguente:

Importante Prima di aumentare la dimensione massima del database di Exchange, accertarsi che lo spazio disponibile sul disco rigido sia sufficiente per un database di maggiori dimensioni.

In un computer con Exchange 2003 SP2, fare clic su Start, scegliere Esegui, digitare regedit, quindi scegliere OK.
Fare clic su una delle seguenti sottochiavi del Registro di sistema, a seconda dell'archivio di cui si desidera aumentare la dimensione:
- Per un archivio cassette postali, fare clic sulla seguente sottochiave del Registro di sistema:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\Server name\Private-Mailbox Store GUID
- Per un archivio cartelle pubbliche, fare clic sulla seguente sottochiave del Registro di sistema:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\Server name\Public-Public Store GUID
Scegliere Nuovo dal menu Modifica, quindi fare clic su Valore DWORD.
Nella casella Nuovo valore #1, immettere Database Size Limit in Gb e premere INVIO.
Fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse su Database Size Limit in Gb e scegliere Modifica.
Fare clic su Decimale e immettere un numero intero compreso tra 1 e 75 nella casella Dati valore.

Nota I valori interi rappresentano la dimensione massima del database in gigabyte (GB). Il valore 75, ad esempio, rappresenta un database la cui dimensione massima è 75 GB.
Fare clic su OK e uscire dall'Editor del Registro di sistema.
Riavviare il servizio Archivio informazioni di Microsoft Exchange. A tal fine, attenersi alla seguente procedura:
1. Fare clic sul pulsante Start, scegliere Esegui, digitare cmd, quindi scegliere OK.
2. Nel prompt dei comandi, digitare il comando seguente e premere INVIO:
  net stop msexchangeis
3. Una volta arrestato correttamente il servizio Archivio informazioni di Microsoft Exchange, immettere il comando seguente e premere INVIO:
  net start msexchangeis
Esaminare il Registro applicazioni per accertarsi che la dimensione del database sia stata impostata correttamente. A tal fine, attenersi alla seguente procedura:
1. Fare clic su Start, scegliere Esegui, digitare eventvwr, quindi scegliere OK.
2. Nel Visualizzatore eventi, fare clic su Applicazione.
3. Fare doppio clic sull'ID evento 1216 per accertarsi che la dimensione del database sia stata impostata correttamente.

Come disabilitare - disattivare NetBios - Porte: 137-138-139

Normalmente nelle piccole reti aziendali, disabilito il NetBios sulle macchine XP costringendole ad utilizzare il DNS per risolvere i nomi.
Penso che un DNS locale sia indispensabile anche per reti piccolissime.
Con un server Microsoft o Linux (con un adeguata interfaccia grafica) o con un firewall software come PFSense la gestione del DNS diventa facile e divertente.
Con un dominio è Microsoft indispensabile che il DNS primario sia il controller di dominio.
Su una connessione VPN di solito non viene consentito il traffico NetBios. Se nslookup risolve ma il ping no, solitamente è perché windows sta usando netbios per trovare il client.

Ecco come disabilitarlo, chiudendo di conseguenza le porte 137, 138 e 139:

Ultimamente navigando in internet vedo, che vengono sempre più pubblicizzati i metodi per entrare nei pc altrui, uno di questi è tramite netbios.

Come disabilitare - disattivare - chiudere la porta NetBios(137-138-139)
Essendo una delle porte più mirate, spesso utilizzata anche da inesperti e consigliabile chiudere la porta netbios, ma come?

E' semplice. Start-->Risorse di Rete-->(destro)Proprietà--->(destro) sull'icona della rete (prendiamo come esempio la Lan)--> La connessione utilizza i seguenti componenti--> Protocollo internet (TCP/IP) ci cliccate una volta per selezionarlo--->Proprietà--->Avanzate(in basso)--->Disabilita NetBios.

Disponibile per il download l’ interfaccia grafica versione 0.7.3.0 perAircrack , il programma in grado di decriptare le password delle reti wireless, sia WEP che WPA/WPA2!

L’interfaccia grafica è stata sviluppata grazie a BUC (Basta Un Click)!

Tramite questa interfaccia grafica sarà possibile utilizzare Aircrack in modo semplice e veloce, senza bisogno di avere particolari conoscenze.

INSTALLAZIONE

Per poter utilizzare questo applicativo prima di tutto bisogna:

avere installato sul proprio pc Aircrack; su Ubuntu basta dare, da terminale, il comando:

sudo apt-get install aircrack-ng

avere installato sul proprio pc l’ultima versione di BUC ; se non lo hai ancora installato allora clicca qui

scaricare il file di installazione contenuto nel pacchetto aircrack.zip

wget http://buc.billera.eu/download/aircrack.zip

decomprimere il file

unzip aircrack.zip

dare i permessi d’esecuzione al file di installazione

chmod +x instalazione.sh

avviare il file di installazione

./installazione.sh

Completata l’installazione per avviare l’interfaccia grafica basterà andare sul menu’ Applicazioni – Altro – Aircrack oppure cliccare sull’iconaAircrack presente nella propria cartella home

Per gli amanti del terminale invece basterà dare il comando:

buc /usr/local/buc/aircrack/aircrack.mc

UTILIZZO

Impostazioni iniziali

Prima di tutto bisogna impostare i parametri preliminari presenti nel tabImpostazioni

Scegliere una cartella dove salvare i dati che Aircrack genererà, che verranno utilizzati in seguito per decriptare la password
Inserire il nome della periferica wifi, questa informazioni la si può ricavare dando da terminale il comando iwconfig
Inserire il MAC Address della periferica wifi, questa informazione la si può ricavare dando da terminale il comando ifconfig ( bisogna copiare il valore alla voce HWaddr )

Per utilizzare Aircrack è necessario attivare, sulla propria scheda wifi, la modalità Monitor Mode, che permetterà di intercettare ogni tipologia di segnale wireless ( N.B. durante il periodo in cui è attivata la modalità Monitor Mode non sarà possibile utilizzare la propria scheda wifi per collegarsi ad internet).Per varie ragioni può succedere che l’attivazione della modalità Monitor Mode non vada a buon fine, per conoscere le possibili cause e le conseguenti soluzioni basta cliccare sul bottone HELP!

Per acquisire le informazioni sull’Access Point (A.P.) bisogna avviareairodump-ng

Alla pressione di questo pulsante si aprirà un terminale simile a questo

Ciò che interessa sapere in questo momento è

BSSID è il MAC Address dell’Access Point del quale si vuole decriptare la password
CH è il canale sul quale l’Access Point trasmette il segnale.
ESSID è il nome dell’Access Point

Inserire i dati precedentemente acquisiti

Se tutti i dati preliminari sono stati inseriti correttamente si può procedere all’utilizzo vero e proprio di Aircrack.

WEP

Questa sezione è dedicata agli Access Point protetti da una chiave WEP.

Cliccare su Airodump-ng – Recuperare IVs -, si aprirà un terminale simile a quello aperto durante le Impostazioni preliminari con l’unica eccezione che verrà visualizzato un solo Access Point, dato che questa volta tutto il lavoro di Aircrack è stato incentrato su quell’unico segnale che abbiamo isolato in precedenza. La colonna sulla quale bisogna prestare maggiore attenzione è quella denominata # Data; questa indica il quantitativo di IVs che vengono raccolti, maggiori sono i pacchetti raccolti più possibilità si hanno di riuscire a decriptare la password.

Se l’Access Point non ha nessun client non si è in grado di ricevere alcun pacchetto; per aggirare questo problema bisogna cliccare su Aireplay-ng – Injection, questo tenterà di autenticarsi all’Access Point.

Se questa operazione va a buon fine potrete notare che apparirà il vostro MAC Address all’interno del terminale di Airodump (sotto la seconda colonna BSSID).

N.B. L’utilizzo di questa pratica non sempre va a buon fine, sia perchè non tutte le schede wireless supportano tale operazione, sia perchè non tutti gli A.P. accettano queste autenticazioni.

Se l’Injection è andato a buon fine bisogna cliccare su Aireplay-ng – Inviare dati, che inizierà ad inviare dei pacchetti all’Access Point cosi da far aumentare i valori della colonna # Data e quindi le probabilità di riuscire a decriptare la chiave WEP.

Raggiunta una quantità accettabile di IVs ( non meno di 5.000) premere il pulsante Aircrack-ng – Decriptare Password -, partirà il processo di decriptazione, al termine del quale il programma indicherà se è stato possibile decriptare la password o se vi è la necessità di dover raccogliere ulteriori IVs.

WPA/WPA2

Questa sezione è dedicata agli Access Point protetti da una chiave WPA e con almeno un client ad esso collegato.

A differenza della WEP, si possono solo utilizzare attacchi prettamente brute force (con dizionazio) contro il WPA/WPA2. Non si è possibilità di velocizzare l’attacco, non essendo la chiave statica come quando si raccolgono gli IVs per la WEP.

La sola fonte che offre le informazioni per avviare un attacco è l’handshake tra il client e l’AP.In parole povere quando il client si connette alla rete.

Non vi sono differenze tra craccare una rete WPA od una WPA2. La metodologia di autenticazione tra loro è praticamente la stessa. Così le tecniche da utilizzare sono identiche.

Se la raccolta degli IVs è molto lenta inserire il MAC Address del client collegato all’A.P. e cliccare su Aireplay-ng – Scollega Client, in questo modo si manda un segnale all’A.P. per far scollegare momentaneamente il client ad esso collegato; quando il client proverà a ricollegarsi all’A.P. invierà i dati contenenti porzioni di chiave che Aircrack raccoglierà molto volentieri

Raggiunta una quantità accettabile di IVs ( non meno di 5.000) selezionare il vocabolario contenente parole utili per decriptare la password (il dizionario lo potete trovare nella cartella /usr/share/dict )e premere il pulsante Aircrack-ng – Decriptare Password -, partirà il processo di decriptazione, al termine del quale il programma indicherà se è stato possibile decriptare la password o se vi è la necessità di dover raccogliere ulteriori IVs o di utilizzare un vocabolario migliore.

Se durante il processo di decriptazione spunta la voce

No valid WPA handshakes found.

Dovete ripetere la deautenticare del client wireless. In questo caso, dovete attendere finché un client wireless non si autentichi con l’AP.

Dizionario

Dalla versione 0.7.3.0 è stato aggiunto il tab Dizionario grazie al quale è possibile migliorare il proprio dizionario.

Partendo da un dizionario di base, come quello presente in/usr/share/dict denominato italian, grazie al nostro algoritmo è possibile ottenere un dizionario completo sia di parole comuni che di parole che al posto delle vocali hanno i numeri. Cosi ad esempio oltre alla parola ciao si avranno anche le parole c1ao, ci4o, cia0, c14o etc..

Aggiornamento

Dalla versione 0.7.2 è stato introdotta la possibilità di aggiornare l’applicativo direttamente dall’interfaccia grafica.

Nel tab Info è presente il bottone Controlla se sono disponibili aggiornamenti…

Cliccando su questo bottone verrà aperta una nuova finestra che informerà se sono presenti o meno aggiornamenti.

Se sono state rilasciate nuove versioni l’applicativo illustrerà il numero della nuova versione disponibile.

Se la versione installata è più vecchia di quella disponibile si potrà aggiornare l’applicativo premendo il pulsante Aggiorna: tutto il processo di aggiornamento è automatico.

Al termine dell’aggiornamento basterà riavviare l’applicativo per poter usufruire delle nuove modifiche.

Impostare a mano "internet.wind" e finalmente tutto funziona.

Wap.wind è un proxy squid.. che probabilmente fa passare solo piccoli file per per la navigazione wap..
E' estremamente LENTO!!

Netstumbler è un programma per l’analisi del rapporto segnale / rumore delle reti wireless. Risulta utile nel controllo dell’area copertura di segnali wi-fi; possiamo così controllare la bontà del segnale del nostro nuovo access point, del numero di dispositivi wireless presenti nelle nostre vicinanze, quanto lontano possiamo spingerci con il nostro laptop. Nokia N97 Mini e Asterisk via SIP

Finalmente sono riuscito a collegare il mio Nokia N97 mini al centralino Asterisk con il protocollo SIP.
Ho dovuto smanettare un po' perchè non basta configurare il protocollo SIP per poter farlo andare.
E' necessario scaricare un applicativo Nokia che "abilita" un profilo sotto "Impost. net".

Adesso diventa molto facile, configurando un DNS interno ed esterno utilizzare Asterisk anche quando sono fuori azienda, chiamare e ricevere tramite Internet generando solo traffico dati e sfruttando l'interno aziendale!
