Now, let’s talk a bit about technology updates. Well, I got good news for all European mobile users which I also wish will happen here in PH.  Below is CNN’s update about Europe getting a universal cell-phone charger.

(CNN) — The frantic hunt for the right cell-phone charger will soon be a thing of the past — in Europe at least — as major manufacturers on Monday agreed to introduce a universal adaptor within six months.

Most cell phones currently rely on different chargers, causing mountains of waste electronic.

Industry leaders, including Apple, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, have struck a deal with the European Union to introduce the one-size-fits-all charger by January 1, 2010, offering a solution to one of modern life’s chief frustrations.

As the number of cell phones has exploded over the past few years, so have the number of chargers — generating mountains of waste technology as users change or upgrade handsets.

Now the cell phone industry has agreed to standardize its chargers, making all handsets compatible with a micro-USB plug already standard on handsets such BlackBerrys.

So, isn’t it appealing to you guys?

If not, well, it is for me. I can really feel it’s help because I am a  Sony Ericsson user and never did my entire life I was able to borrow chargers in cases that I missed it putting inside my bag. Gesssh. To think that in those cases, you desperately need your mobile phone to contact someone.

How I wish, this move in January 2010 will also happen here in PH. As usual, PH is always behind to these new technology updates. But still I hope, we’ll all be facing a new trend for PH. Hoping we can dance the rhythm with them too! *sigh*

I just wanted to share this cartoon about renters’ revenge to mortgage owners. It just reminded me how devastating it was to know that soon, some mortgage owners are losing their homes.

Just a very quick update, Steve Jobs is back to work. As I asked your opinion before about Steve Jobs in Apple, Again? Yes or No? it seems that Kuya Lyle - my first and only commenter on that post was right that Steve Jobs is indeed aching to go back to work. Yet, now he is! Well, I’m pretty sure he’s happy with that decision and I just wish him and Apple more success. May more astonishing gadgets come too!

CNN got a quick poll for all of us? Do you think Apple still needs the iconic CEO, Steve Jobs?

(CNN) — Apple is known for building excitement over its latest gadgets, but the company’s next closely watched event has nothing to do with a product. Instead, anticipation is growing over the scheduled return of Apple’s charismatic CEO.

It’s been almost six months since Steve Jobs — who co-founded Apple and has thrilled the public by launching consumer tech favorites such as the iPhone and the iPod — announced that he was taking a medical leave of absence until the end of June.

As that time quickly approaches, Apple fans, investors and observers have been gripped by questions.

Will he come back as promised? If so, in what capacity? And how crucial is he still to the company’s success?

Jobs, who is a pancreatic cancer survivor, revealed at the beginning of this year that a hormone imbalance caused the considerable weight loss that had some speculating whether his cancer had returned.

IMHO, I think Steve Jobs should learn to relax and because of his illness I think it’s about time for him to delegate tasks to other Apple team members. After all, Steve has already exemplarily perform his job as Apple’s CEO. Isn’t it a better idea that he will still have a long time seeing the sweet fruits of his smart and hard work?
