How Nepal could beat USA to the 2014 WC Qualifiers

With three wins and six points USA has a great chance of making it to the next level ( Div II).A win against Bermuda ( their last opponent ) or even a lose with a small margin will lead them to next stage as they have very healthy run rate of +0.69.So what can change the fate of nepali team?

If Bermuda wins against USA by huge margin and so does the Nepal against Italy( in the last game of Nepal in div III) , then Nepal goes to Div II .Thus, Nepal just has slim chances of qualification.For example, if Bermuda score 250 and beat USA by 100 runs, and if Nepal score 275 and win by 76 runs, then USA's NRR (net run rate) will slip to 0.345, and Nepal's will climb up to 0.348. We could win against italy with a comprehensive margin but it's gotta be miracle to have a huge win of Bemuda against USA.But As there is a bit of chance for bermuda to get into DIV II they will definitely try hard to beat USA which will be good for Nepal.

Nepal lost Icc WCL Div 3 against USA

Nepal ( Captain Paras Khadka)winning the toss elected to field first , hoping to utilize the moisture on the surface at Somerset Cricket Club, Bermuda. Nepali bowlers, however couldn't justify their captain's decision as US openers made a rapid start to the innings .A blistering 162 from US opener and wicket keeper Steve taylor propelled victory over Nepal.Taylor brought up his century off 61 ball and clinched the record. Though , performing a good batting skills from Nepali side and making a respectable score of 272,Nepal couldn't chase the daunting target of 366 .Nepal lost all the wickets scoring 272 total in 49.5 overs.

Nepal has always been known for good bowling .But personally i don't understand what happened this time Nepali bowling side found to be struggling which lead USA scoring a huge target.Personally i think any target higher than 250 will be difficult for Nepal to chase.The Same team was defeated twice in Div WCL 4 by 32 runs and 8 wickets .It was unforgettable moment for us when Basant regmi took 5 wickets for 35 in first and 20 in second game against USA to give Nepal undefeated title.

First of all i would be grateful to let you know guys that a Nepali TV presenter Ravi Lamichhane has set the world record by hosting the longest talk show ever in the history.Ravi Lamichhane who normally lives in USA stayed in air for more than 62 hours .He interviewed politician, journalists and celebrities on the theme "Buddha was born in Nepal"and took phone calls from viewers.He broke the record of two ukrainian presenters of 52 hours in 2011.Thus, he puts his name in Guinness World Record.Congratulation to him.

It definitely helped to spread the message " Buddha was born in Nepal"

I taste smells,
I touch not heaven but things from the underworld,
things people do not believe exist,
whose shapes the world does not suspect.
Stones I see as flowers
lying water-smoothed by the water's edge,
rocks of tender forms
in the moonlight
when the heavenly sorceress smiles at me,
putting out leaves, softening, glistening,
throbbing, they rise up like mute maniacs,
like flowers, a kind of moon-bird's flowers.
I talk to them the way they talk to me,

Their language comes in ripples to the moonlit Ganges banks,

In the history of Nepal, a well known business man Binod Chaudhary has written his name in Forbes' billionaires list.Newwork based magazing Forbe has included Chaudhary Groud president Binod chaudhary, 57, in 1342 position along with 84 others in " The 2013 Billionaire list".

According to forbes , his net worth is $1 billion (Rs 88 billion).

I am extremely sorry for the last post about Ex crown prince Paras BB shah .Eventually i checked wikipedia of Paras shah and i found about his death.I thought it will be the reliable source at that time.

According to reliable source , He is still going through treatment at Samitibej Hospital since 19th feb 2013 and the condition getting critical as they found bleeding from his stomach.God bless you Paras shah.Jay nepal!

Former crown prince Paras Bir bikram Shah was hospitalized late Tuesday in Bangkok's Samitivej Hospital after suffering from heart attack.It hasn't been confirmed by any reliable source yet, however Prakash Dahal ( Son of Prachanda ) and some other facebook pages have written that former crown prince is no more alive and hospital is waiting for the permission of his parents to confirm his death.I am completely not sure whether it's true or just the hoax.

Learn Photography free -lesson 3 (composition )

Whichever camera you got, either its a Dslr camera or its a simple mobile phone if you compose nicely you can get a nice photo.Composition is about placing the scenery in your picture, what to emphasize what not to , where to put the main object and where the secondary. There are few rules of composition that i am going to show you today:

1:Rules of thirds

Imagine two vertical lines and two horizontal lines in a image frame.You should always place the main object or important elements of the scene in the intersections of those lines which will add balance and interest on your photo .

2:Balancing Elements

Placing the main object Off-the center creates more interesting as we mentioned in rules of thirds.But it will be more interesting to place something of less important in other side of the image than leaving it empty.

3:Leading line:

Some times it will be very interesting to start with the same thing at one corner of the image and end with the same thing at another corner of the image in a line to show the continuity ( it keeps going).For example the picture here :

4:Symmetry and patterns

Making kind of symmetry and patterns in your image will make it more interesting.

5:View point

Try to experiment shooting in different level and different sides to make the same image more interesting.And always place an moving subject in one side of the image and place some empty space in other side so that it gives some kind of sense that the object is moving that side.Or if someone is looking at the left from your point of view place him/her in the right of the image and place some space in the left.

6: Depth of the field
Place something in your image in the front or which is close of you so that you can give a sense of your landscape how far it is or how depth it is :

Kailashnath Mahadev (World's tallest shiva statue 143 feet)

When i was in Nepal (Kailashnath mahadev statue situated in Sangha just 20 km away from kathmandu . There were few disappointing arrangements .One was entrance fee, noone even told me we can enter free and there is no any clear sign or written board that which way we go.Once i got off the bus i walked for about 15 mins and saw the main entrance , there were few guards who said me it cost 100 Rs to get in and then i paid .But once i get in i found out there was another way to get to statue without any fee.All i paid was to get in into the resort which had nothing to do with me.See unfortunately this kind of things happened many times when i was in nepal anyway enjoy watching video i shot when i went to Kailashnath Mahadev.

Learn Photography free-Lesson 2

First of all sorry for the late, I will try my best to bring new lessons ASAP now on. We talked about basics things before picking a good camera for you and the types of camera in last lesson.In this lesson we will learn about some basic terms that is very essential to learn in photography.

1.Aperture

Aperture is the opening of the lens(size of the hole through which light passes through at the moment photo is taken) in camera.It is measured by f numbers (focal length).Larger the focal length smaller the aperture(Opening) which makes more things in focus so even the background in focus.And in other hand smaller the f larger the aperture which focus the main object and blur the background

2.Shutter speed

It is the time period how long the shutter curtain stays open allowing the light into the camera .A fast shutter speed freeze the action of the object allowing less amount of light inside the camera whereas slow shutter speed allows more light in and cause motion blur in the image.So when you want shoot clear picture of sports man or running vehicles or kid you should less shutter speed wheres you use high shutter speed for night shots.

3. ISO

it stands for International standards organization. ISO is a sensor unit .It is the sensitivity of the camera to the light.So higher the ISO , more sensitive the camera to the light (allowing for faster shutter speed) which also cause noise in the image .And lower the ISO, lesser the sensitivity (forcing for slow shutter speed) and reduces the noise in image .Normally 400 ISO is used for photography for a normal Dslr camera.

Exposure:

The relation between these three components (Aperture, shutter speed and iso ) determine the exposure.Exposure is the amount of light collected by the sensor in your camera during a single picture. If the shot is exposed too long the photograph will be washed out. If the shot is exposed too short the photograph will appear too dark.So to maintain the exposure of the image you need to maintain these three components.You can check the exposure in light meter in display of dslr cameras.

One simple formula

"If you open up , speed up and if you close down slow down"

so if less f put high speed to maintain exposure.It also depends amount of the light presence if less light presence put higher ISO or put slow shutter speed which lets more light to get in.So lets start shooting , the more experiments you do the more learn .
