	&lt;p&gt;Volunteers work to promote conditions which ensure that every child lives in a safe, secure, healthy, permanent home and preserving families whenever possible. Volunteers may also review the case plans of youth in the custody of the Oregon Youth Authority, focusing on issues surrounding youth reformation and public safety. &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CRB&lt;/span&gt; volunteers advocate for effective child welfare policies and practice which support healthy children and families. A stipend is available for expenses related to volunteering (mileage, meals, daycare, etc.) for those who meet eligibility requirements.&lt;/p&gt;

The link to their website is http://www.krvm.org.  They have a small paid staff, but rely heavily on the support of their volunteers and member listeners.  All specialty program DJ&amp;#8217;s are volunteers.  There&amp;#8217;s a Friends of &lt;span class="caps"&gt;KRVM&lt;/span&gt; group which coordinates volunteer activities, such as hosting a &lt;span class="caps"&gt;KRVM&lt;/span&gt; booth at the Eugene Celebration, etc.  Twice a year &lt;span class="caps"&gt;KRVM&lt;/span&gt; has a membership drive to help pay for the expenses of running the station.  Any support people can provide to help with the membership drive are very much appreciated.  You can contact the general manager, Randy Larson, or the program manager, Ken Martin, at 687-3370. All proceeds from the shop are donated  to programs which support and enhance patient care at Sacred Heart.
Retail experience is not required, but 
volunteers  should enjoy working with the public and be willing to learn  computer or business machines. 
Time commitment is a four hour shift 2-3 times a month.

It is open Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  We sell &amp;#8220;fair trade&amp;#8221; items made by craftspeople in 85 developing countries, who are paid a fair and just wage, by their local standards, for their products.  Volunteers man the cash register, greet customers, answer questions, stock shelves, arrange displays, etc. New volunteers are paired with experienced ones and have two hours of training before starting. Brethren Community Services&amp;#8217; primary mission is to develop affordable housing and supportive services for low-income adults with psychiatric disabilities, in cooperation with ShelterCare, a Lane County non-profit that currently operates such services at the site. 	&lt;p&gt;Advocates&amp;#8212;With a second level of training after six months on crisis line or equivalent direct service experience, provide emotional support, info, rides and accompaniment to hospital, police interviews, courthouse and other appointments. Offer informed choice options, referrals and support for each survivor&amp;#8217;s choices.&lt;/p&gt;


	&lt;p&gt;&lt;span class="caps"&gt;SASS&lt;/span&gt;&amp;#8217; Volunteer trainings are 34-hour intensive direct service courses, followed by specific on-the-job training by mentors. Two times per month we transport girls from the council area (Benton, Linn, Polk, Marion, Yamhill, and Lincoln Counties) to Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (CCCF) in Wilsonville to do Girl Scout Programming with the incarcerated female.  We are looking for volunteers to help with the transportation of the girls to and from the prison one to two times per month.  Volunteers also have the opportunity to enter &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CCCF&lt;/span&gt; and help lead the program activities with the girls and &lt;span class="caps"&gt;CCCF&lt;/span&gt; residents. The troop meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 8:45-11:30 AM in Wilsonville.&lt;/p&gt;
