Yarnell Fire

2013-08-02T09:55:00.001-07:00

There are no words to describe the overwhelming tragedy of the Yarnell fire. It still seems so unreal to me. I really cannot wrap my mind around how it happened. Throughout life we are taught to see the good in every situation, even if appears to be impossible to grasp the last of the light. Endless hearts were touched, some broken, 19 lost in the blaze. Mother Nature continues to teach us lessons that we often times ignore because we're so busy doing things that really don't help us grow, love, forgive. I was inspired to paint something in honor of the 19 men. Tell the people you love, you love them and keep them close!

Welcome !

Ginger recently moved to the city of Loveland from a small town in Prescott Arizona. She finds fulfillment and appreciation for traditional art with a modern twist. Her focus is mainly in Acrylics , however, not wanting to be constrained by any single method of artistic expression, Ginger dances with the idea of thinking outside the box. With a rare motivation to bring an explosive quality not limited to her creative and colorful work, she continues to seek new and inventive ways of expression through her art. Her body of work captures the essence of "life" with her explosion of colors. "Alive in Color" embodies and truly emulates the essence of her subject matters.

Thanks to the amazing and talented photographer Andrew McIntire for shooting the "shots." Many thanks!

Tangled Monsters

MONSTERS

I had to share my upcoming project, I'm just so excited. So.. going back to what I was doing before with t-shirts and all I am just dipping my toe into the world of Tangled Monsters. In other words, your hairy, scary, cute and cuddly monsters printed on to t's. I've realized that 30+ for t shirts is a bit outrageous. So, look out for some affordable and adorable shirts coming up !

I had a blast these last few weeks going to BMHS and PHS to do some art with the special needs kids! I hope this inspires you to take action and give a piece of your time and heart. Truly, the best things in life are free. A big thanks to all that helped me. Lauren, Michael and Harmony!!

So...

2012-03-22T09:00:00.000-07:00

I came across this little piece of paper that had this sweet little quote I wanted to share with all of you. Today I am taking on a project to paint with special needs kids at local high schools. I will be posting pictures shortly! I am beyond overjoyed and excited to give back.

"Sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways, It can change someone else's life forever."

Inspiration...

3-D Inspiration

I just love the sense of gravity the bird has.

I could not sleep for the life of me! Do you ever have those days where you just have to get up and make something. All those creative ideas just bouncing off the walls of your cranium? So I have been incredibly inspired by 3-D sculptures lately. I just wanted to share some of my favorites. I'll be working on my very own pretty soon.

I love the textures, very structural. I feel as if this is what the horse would look like anatomically. One can only wish... :)

This is like a golden milkshake of love. So inspiring!

Yavapai Humane Society Art Show!

2011-09-15T13:24:00.000-07:00

Unyunghasayo!

So right now I'm currently taking an oil/acrylic painting class and I just wanted to share some of the things we have been taking part in to not only benefit ourselves but the community.

All of the students ( such as myself) are taking part in the Humane Society Art Show that is coming up next month. I will include details once I get the scoop ;). Basically, a portion of the money made from the sold paintings will go directly to help the huggable loveable animals. I'm such a sucker for animals... all of you should know this by now!

Just finished a couple of paintings that I wanted to share. Prints will be available upon request! (I recommend standard sizes)

11x14 Heavy Body Acrylic

18x20 Acrylic

Help!

2011-09-02T07:14:00.000-07:00

I just recently got some disheartening news about a friends dog. CarLee a 2 year old rescue dog was diagnosed this past week with peritonitis. CarLee has a severe amount of fluid in her abdomen which requires immediate attention. If not, the vet informed us that within 2-7 day's if she wasn't treated CarLee will have respiratory failure.

To help, I've created a design of CarLee on shirts which can be purchased on my online store http://www.gkcart.anythingonshirts.com ! I'm willing to donate a portion of your purchases to help save CarLee's life!

Making your dream a REALity

2011-08-27T07:57:00.000-07:00

Just

Hello everyone! So recently I've been approached by people who continually have self doubt when it comes to creating art, and quite frankly I'm gettting really sick of hearing it! You all can do it, I promise. I can't even tell you how many times someone has said, "wow that art sucks" about my work. Keep in mind, this is a HUGE world filled with endless tastes. One famous artist that I was looking up one day creates pieces with human hair and wish bones... So don't fret and let the art flow. Your art doesn't have to measure up to the expectations of anyone.

Keep

going
