Hi Glammies & Happy New Year! I hope ya'll had a great holiday and your new year is coming along. As you know I've been busy with our new member Noelani Stormy now 8 weeks old. We are so blessed to have this little miracle in our lives. But with a new born in our lives and dealing with colic, GI, & acid reflux, it's been difficult trying to get back into the rhythm of things.

I'll be posting as frequent as possible until Miss Stormy get's better and on a better schedule where Mami can get to posting and work. But in the mean while I would love to hear from you and what you'll like to see reviewed, tutorials, and advice.

Keurig & Beauty Tip?

Keurig was on my 2011 Favs List and I use it quite a bit. Well, I've been feeling bad about throwing away the kcups (I do recycle them) so I thought of this great beauty tip to use the coffee grounds. You can use the coffee grounds from your kcups or your coffee maker as an exfoliant. Just pat on to your skin and gently rub then rinse. Just an extra idea and a 2-N-1, I would also add a little olive oil and make a paste to exfoliate and moisturize at the same time.

I've heard so much about this machine and was not trying to believe the "Hype" until I had some ladies in a private group (EMJ) highly recommend it. After help from a great GM in Lyndhurst, NJ he was able to find a machine for me and put it on hold. Well, that night changed my coffee experience forever.
Kcups are what holds the coffee grounds for an individual cup of coffee, teas, and hot chocolate.This thing is so convenient and life saving (being a new mom again). I always tell my clients that without good skin care their makeup won't look the best it can look. I take it very serious since I've been suffering from adult acne since I was 23 and I think now after 10 years or so (no adding up to figure my age please) I have gotten control of it. Review on Nume Flat Iron

I must admit that sometime ago I received this Nume flat iron to try out and give a review on and have been so busy with life, business, and being pregnant that I hadn't gotten a chance to do it. I apologize for the delay and I'm now getting time to do this much needed and deserved review.

As most of you may know, I have naturally coiled curly hair and most of the time I wear it naturally. But I do love mixing it up and getting my hair blown out. I like to wear it blown out mostly in the cold weather months since I don't have to worry about any frizz. That being said, when I received this flat iron I was in between hairstylists (and still am) and was in need of a serious trim. So I waited until I went back home (Chicago) to get my hair trimmed with my amazing hairstylist/aunt.

A few weeks before I received this Vintage Nume Flat Iron, my Chi that I had for almost 5 years MELTED. Yes, you read that right, it MELTED. I don't know what happened or how it happened but it did and I'm glad I caught it before it really got ugly. But back to the real flat iron and super star. This beauty is made of 100% ceramic iron that helps give shine and keeps moisture in the hair's cuticle. It has a temp control dial and heats up in a few seconds so no need to wait around to do your hair. The iron design is curved at the edges to use as a curling iron too. And it comes with a 3-year warranty. How awesome is that?

Let's get down to the real important stuff like how it worked on this SUPER noodle head Glammie. Well, after blow drying my hair and having no products in it, I sectioned my hair and got started. Now I have a lot of hair but it's thin so it took about 15-20 minutes to do it. That might sound like a lot of work to some folks but once I flat iron and style, I won't have to use the iron again for a few days. Most of the time I have to do 1 section of hair twice but with Nume I only had to do the section once. My hair was left so silky smooth and with no flyaways which I hate!

At the time I was working at Sephora and everyone at work thought I had permed my hair or had done Kertain. NOPE it was all done with the Nume Vintage iron that I have now had for a few months and love. I have used it on some clients and they have purchased their own and have thanked me for introducing them to Nume. I highly recommend the Nume Vintage to all my Glammies.

This has been out for a little bit of time but just now getting around to trying it and reviewing it. Maybelline came out with these liners that are suppose to be a creamy pencil that has 24 hour staying power and bold in color. And it is just that. I purchased the Bold Brown since they were out of the black plus I need to try a new brown since I don't like wearing black ALL THE TIME. It's a really pretty deep brown with a bit of sparkle and glides on so easy.

I wore the liner with no eye primer on top and bottom lid to really test it out. After a long day of running errands with Peanut, it stayed on with no problems and no smudging. Exactly what Maybelline said. It comes in 6 colors and available from $5.99 and up.

It's it true??? Yes, Sephora lovers rub your eyes again cause you're seeing the picture right! What you're seeing is a Sephora/Zuca rolling bag. Are you surprised as much as I am? I'm guess those train cases were getting a bit bulking and a a hassle to carry after awhile (my opinion). Sephora smarten up and decided to join Zuca to come out with their own roller bag. Looking a bit similar to the MAC/Zuca bag but without the front buckle.

The Sephora/Zuca bag comes with a silver frame and black outer bag with white font and 5 nylon inserts to organize and make your life so much easier. This bag is an easy carry on and you don't have to just use it just for makeup. I have used mine for weekend getaways and for shows to carry items and sit on when I need a break.
