This weekend was very eventful. I had amazing Saturday spent with my favourite girls, Stefany from University and Tali who you know from TheGlossGoss. It was so nice catching up with both of them, felt like a true soul food. Oxford Street always gets me excited because of all the nice restaurants, beautiful shiny shops, and variety of things that you can see or do there. Pampering day

Favourite boots at the moment

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all good? Todays post is just a quick ramble and an outfit post, to show you my new boots. When I received these amazing beauties from GlamYou I was extremely excited. They just look so fashionable and luxurious with the fox fur as the lining. I decided to wear these boots for a pampering day that I just spent relaxing, I got my nails and hair done, following with my favourite salmon and avocado salad with my boy. I felt very relaxed, and I needed it after 12 days of work without a single day off.

Rubber boots for cold days

Hello my lovelies,
It has been so cold for past few days, that even layers dont make me feel warm anymore. In England its not as bad as in the rest of the Europe, but it still gets very cold and icy.
For that reason I wore some wellies today, hoping they will keep my feet dry and they did! I just love them as besides being so comfy, they are super warm specially when worn with woollen socks. So here is the outfit that I wore today, tell me what you wear in this cold weather???

Early Breakfast

Hello everyone,
I am completely frozen under duvet with a hot water bottle, drinking tea and writing this on my lap top.
It has been so cold this week, but I shouldn't even be complaining (comparing to the rest of the Europe).
As you would understand its so cold to do things when its cold and noone wants to leave the house. But exactly because of that I chose to get up early this morning, go to one of my favourite cafes with my boyfriend and plan out the day, make few phone calls, finish some emails, and have my most important meal of the day. Here is what I wore, loads of layers kept me warm and resulted in a still relatively simple outfit

Make Up Storage

Hello my lovelies,
Since January I have been promising to show you my make up storage. I will film a special video to show you some trick and ideas of keeping all things clean and tidy(very important with make up) but in the meanwhile here is a bunch of pictures of my make up area and where I film.
As you can see, I use Muji acrylic boxes, which I like because they are shallow and see through so it's easy to find everything in the morning or when in the rush. I also add few boxes or containers from various places. The acrylic organisers in the big drawer are from Ikea, as well as my vanity table (Ikea-Malm).

Girly outfit

Hello my lovelies,
Isn't it absolutely freezing? It's so weird, as weather in England has been unusually warm until now. Last week I could wear only blazer, whereas now I am all wrapped up. The best thing now is to stay in, with a tea, some rented movies, and yummy food. Its not snowing at the minute, but I wish it would, so I can try and do some snow outfits. What's the weather like in your town?
Im gonna show you an outfit that I wore at the beginning of the week, when I went to see my old friend, for some cream tea, and we ended up doing usual make up and cosmetics shopping.

Organisation Rambling

Since I can remember I always loved organisation. As a little girl, stationery shops always attracted me with loads of different pens, beautiful notebooks and sticky notes. Weird I KNOW! But it never really changed. Today I am big on list making. I make wish lists, studying plans, shopping lists, packing lists, to do lists...You get the idea. I love lists! They keep me organised as I like to see things on paper before I know what I have to do. After that I prioritise and devote my time to tasks according to their importance.

When Personal Planner offered to send me one of their diaries for New Years Eve, I was so excited. Not only I love diaries, but I needed one for 2012 anyway. They sent me a diary that is customised specially for me Here is what it looks like

I am very impressed with this diary, and love it to bits. Size is perfect to fit in my bag, but also is big enough for al of the tasks, and notes. It comes with calendar, ruler, holidays dates, and all the useful bits, as well as this little table with goals and exams, that I adore. It is also inexpensive and can be customised according to your own needs. The story behind it is very interesting, so check it out on their web site HERE

Keeping my tasks organised spares me so much time. And since I work full time, I think time is extremely valuable commodity. One of my New Years resolutions was to keep everything as simple as possible, to have it all organised. And it doesn't stop with my time, but also my books, my make up, my clothes,accessories...You name it! As important dates are approaching I was jotting few things in my work and my blog diaries, so here is what that looks like:

Hello everyone,
It is very unusually warm for this time of the year. I was expecting heavy coats, big chunky scarfs and hats, yet Im ok to leave the house in blazer. This weekend was very hectic, but I wont go into that too much, as I said before I am preparing loads of things for you. In the meanwhile I am enjoying in my fave Chai Tea Latte, comeback of Gossip Girl, 90210 and Desperate Housewives, and organising books and papers for my final exam. I know that for most of you this is stressful period full of exams, but much worse comes around June time, where everyone is buried under piles of books. And I will try to give you as many of my personal tips for getting great marks in your exams :)

City lights

Hello everyone,
As last few days were very windy, I decided it's perfect time to show around my new super warm boots.
I love combining greys and browns together, as I think you can only do that in the winter.
This outfit that I wore for yummy Italian lunch was very comfortable, and even though boots are with heels they feel comfortable as they are very stable. At the moment I have a lot of projects and things happening so I am constantly moving and need to feel warm and comfortable. I will keep you posted on everything.

New make up in

Hello my lovelies,

After few outfit posts I decided to share with you my new make up. While reading my favourite blogs I always get inspired and see some things that I would like to have. That is usually the case with make up, or general beauty products. Most of the time I see some amazing products on Tali's blog. Great products from Tali's blog paired with great reviews from Laura's blog too, resulted in this little haul. When it comes to beauty advice, they are my favourite bloggers (as I strongly believe in their taste, ~~besides Tali's choice in men! Khm Tali~~)

So here is the result. I am so pleased with these and feel like I should have really spotted them earlier.

MAC Blush Fleur Power
Very pigmented coraly pink blush, that I can imagine wearing for pretty much any occasion.
You only need a tiny bit, but it is very blend-able and does not leave streaks.

MAC Blush Well Dressed
Very cute light pink colour, sheer with pearly finish. Perfect for days when you want your cheeks to glow without illuminator. Very subtle and also easy to blend

Laura Mercier set
My favourite scent of these is Almond Coconut Milk (as obvious) they leave my skin so soft, and
smelling so yummy that I am a bit endangered when around hungry people. This is an absolute treat for yourself or as a present.
WARNING! when used can easily be mistaken for a desert.

MAC Hue Lip Stick and Paint pot Painterly.
For work and every day. Nude lip and nude eye. Does not get more interesting than that. Nothing to think about, best friend in any situation.

My favourite discovery are Laura Mercier lip glosses, they smell like yummy toffee, and look amazing. Also YSL lip scrub that comes in top3 lip products (and trust me i have 101 lip balm) it has suggary particles, smells of mint, and leaves lips covered in tick balm, once exfoliation process is over.

A little bit darker than Laguna bronzer, but leaves that gorgeous golden shine. It will last very long as

Late Night Shopping

Hello my lovelies,
Recently a lot of you have been recommending to me on Twitter (@tamarakalinic) to visit the new Westfield Stratford. It's not very convenient for me to get there, but after what I heard, I really wanted to check it out. It is absolutely massive, with loads of restaurants, shops, cinema, ice skating rink, and it was very busy. Forever21 is a lot bigger than the one on Oxford Street, and shops in general are very well stocked. It took me few hours to walk around the mall. I loved Miss Sixty shop (I am a big fan of their clothes). Designer shops are not all opened yet, besides Mulberry, but the rest are due this year. Even if you don't feel like shopping, you can still enjoy in food, ice skating, Krispy Kreme doughnuts or something sweet like that.

Sunny winter days

Hello my lovelies,
Today was incredibly sunny outside, and even though morning was a bit cold, afternoon was warm and beautiful. It is weird to have days like this in January, but it makes me happy!
I was reading my book in the bed most of the morning, then I went hunting for a dress that I shall wear tonight. I am going out in London and want to look my best (photos to follow I promise). So for a quick lunch after hairdressers I needed to add some colour to my outfit and here is what I came up with.
I love these long shirt/dresses, as I think they can easily be layered with jumpers, and blazers.

Nail polishes, secret obsession

Ok, I admit, maybe the title isn't so correct, as my obsession for nail polishes is anything but SECRET!

I keep talking about them, about new shades, about different manicures, cuticle creams and all sorts of things. I could never walk past an OPI stand without stopping. That would be insane! And to be honest, no one expects me to, as my loved ones are well informed on my little ~~obsession~~ passion :)

So I finally got a new camera and decided to film a video showing you few of my current favourite nail polishes! Hope you enjoy it and recommend me some nice polish shades to try out myself

Today I have something slightly different to show you. I was kindly sent a Christmas gift from a very talented young artist and owner of KAN DEE SHOP.

A lovely day with my family

When at home I really love to do little things with my family. That is what always makes me smile.

Both my mum and dad like to eat out, so together with my sister we all go quite often for lunches or cosy meals. Another thing is watching movies at home, I always watch "Home alone" with my mum, and all the other childhood movies, we take bucket of ice cream (Nirvana,Greek ice cream) and cuddle up on sofa.With my dad on the other hand I watch some action movies, with Milka chocolate :) So either way we all love good film! This year before a long and nice family day (and some girly shopping with mum and sis) I decided I wanted to feel warm and comfy, so I put on this big turtle neck cosy dress, paired with ballerina shoes and my new bag...

It was a very big year for me, as I graduated, started different life, became more serious about my blog (and amazingly achieved to be in top3 UK bloggers on Bloglovin'), I found love and it feels so good!

Biker boots and sales ramble

Hello my lovelies,
I always wanted to be in London few days after Christmas just to experience the whole "sales time"atmosphere .
This year was the first time that I didn't leave for the holidays, and as much as you can get a bargain, crazy people running you over, teenagers screaming and fighting over jumpers, very busy sales assistants, and extremely high temperature difference between the shops and outside put me off sale shopping forever!
Ok, forever might be a biiiittt exaggerated, but my feelings pretty much explain my outfit.
As I am going home, still need to buy loads of things for my parents (needless to say that my dad "modestly" gave me the whole list of things he wants) so I decided to wear comfortable clothes, flat shoes for sure, to leave the coat in the car, and have something a bit lighter underneath, as its 40degrees in the shops and malls, to tie my hair up, roll the sleeves up and start the digging :)
And here is the result. One more thing to tell you about, are my boots. I love these boots. It was a love at first sight and now I dont want to take them off . They are biker boots with some studs from Karen Millen. There are so many ways that they can be worn and you will see that very soon. Now on with the photos

Today I had a very relaxing day. Didnt bother much with after Christmas sales, just because it was absolutely mental in town. However I want to represent my new baby to you:
