I was recently in Target and I came across the new L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Lipsticks! I've been curious and wanting to try these out since I saw them on a few U.K. blogs. Most of the shades were out of stock on the displays though. I decided to buy three that I know I would wear regularly.

When I first received the Milani Powder Eyeshadows I immediately thought that a few shades reminded me of the MAC Eyeshadows. I decided to go through all of my MAC eyeshadows and choose the ones I felt like looked close to the Milani eyeshadows.

Overall I don't necessarily think these Milani Powder Eyeshadows are dupes for the MAC Eyeshadows. I think they're cheaper alternatives to the MAC eyeshadows. The pigmentation is just as good and if not better than a lot of the MAC eyeshadows I compared them too. Plus it costs less and it comes with a lot more product too!

I love how you can just transfer a neutral look instantly with a pop of color! Instead of normally applying a pop of color to my lower lash line I decided to try it out in my tear duct. I also added a pop of color on my lips.

Mattese Elite is a brand that I've been loving lately! You can find this brand at Ricky's NYC. I've purchased their products twice from HauteLook and I haven't been disappointed yet. One of the items I'm really impressed with are the Mattese Elite Rich Emollient Lipsticks.

In my opinion they are very comparable to MAC Lipsticks. They have similar quality, pigmentation, variety of shades, and even MAC's signature vanilla scent. They remind me of the amplified formulas.

NYX Cosmetics has released a few new products for Spring 2012. One of those products are the NYX Xtreme Lip Creams. These are not the same thing as the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. I would compare these to a liquid lipstick. The pigmentation of a lipstick and the glossy finish of a lipgloss.

Review/Swatches: Sedona Lace 120 Pro Palette.

A few weeks I recently received the Sedona Lace 120 Pro Palette. I own a couple 88 eyeshadow palettes, so this time around I wanted to get a 120 eyeshadow palette. There are a few different versions of the 120 Palette available. The 120 Palette I'm going to be reviewing is the First Edition.

Description: This Wonderful bright set of 120 shades includes shimmer and matte finishes. Has 2 layers for portable and convenient use. These shadows are long lasting and extremely vibrant. The soft powder makes it easy to use wet or dry.

Retail Price: $28.95

PROS:

Huge assortment of shades

Different eyeshadow finishes

Majority of the eyeshadows are very pigmented

I had no trouble with blending the eyeshadows

Perfect to take while travelling and easy to store

Inexpensive, considering the amount of eyeshadows included

CONS:

There is some fallout

Tricky removing the palettes

A few shades apply more sheer

Doesn't include that many neutral eyeshadows

Overall Thoughts: If you're a fan of colorful eyeshadows and bold looks then this is the palette for you! Unlike with some of the 88 palettes I do find that the colors are more pigmented in the 120 palette. There are a few shades that apply more sheer, but the majority of the shades have great pigmentation. I have filmed a couple tutorials using this palette if you are curious about the quality. I'm not a complete fan of the packaging. Only because I do find that it is bit tricky removing the different layers. I also was disappointed to see the ribbon that's used to help lift and remove the palettes was taped on. That just seems like a horrible accident waiting to happen. You're going to have to be extra careful when removing them.

So whether you're just getting started in makeup or you just love colorful looks then I do recommend purchasing this palette. There are so many colors to choose from and you'll have endless possibilities when it comes to makeup looks.

Milani has come out with so many new products for 2012 and now I'm going to be sharing with you the new Milani Powder Eyeshadows. Milani used to have single eyeshadows, but they were discontinued. Some of these shades are similar to older shades and some are a bit new. The eyeshadows are exclusively available at select CVS stores only.

I'm starting a series of NYX swatches! I have so many NYX products, especially their lip products and I get asked quite a lot about providing swatches of everything. I personally don't always find the online swatches that the company provides that helpful or that true to color.

The first products I will be swatching are the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. There are eleven shades available and I own seven of those shades. These aren't lipsticks and they aren't lipglosses. It's really hard to explain what they are. I would compare them to a mousse-like texture and formula.
