What's Ind-ie Box?

What's In-die Box? is a new monthly polish box. It is an exciting new concept as it contains only Indie polishes and rather than receiving currently available polishes all the polishes in the box will be new releases so you don't have to worry about receiving a polish you already own.

Each month's What's In-die Box? will have a fun theme and will include five full size polishes from five Aussie Indie brands. It will be a great way to try multiple Indie brands without paying a fortune in postage costs. Some of the polishes will even be exclusive to this box or limited edition! You do not have to subscribe to What's In-die Box?, you can just pre-order in advance for whichever box you wish to purchase.

For the June What's In-die Box? we have chosen the theme Toy Story so expect to receive five great colorful polishes from Aussie Indie brands: Alanna Renee, Glam Polish, Lilypad Lacquer, Love Thy Polish & Peita's Polish.

Another advantage for Glam Polish fans since I will be assembling and posting the boxes, you are able to order additional items from my store to be shipped with your box at no extra postage cost.

The cost for the box is $47.99 plus $7.95 postage & packaging. I am now taking orders for the June 2013 What's In-die Box? you can pay now by purchasing from my Big Cartel Store, or you can add your name to the sign up form before the 22nd of May and your payment will be due before the 30th of May. It is important that you sign up early as limited numbers of What's In-die Box? are available and we don't want anyone to miss out.

The shipping date for the June What's In-die Box? is approximately June 10th all orders will be sent by regular post and can take up to seven business days to arrive. This product is only available for Australian orders, international shipping is not available.

Its been a crazy start to the year for me I've been busy with work and travel but finally I have a bit more free time now and am planning to launch a new Glam Polish collection next month I have been posting some pics of the polishes I've been working on my facebook page so anyone interested please go check them out let me know which shades you like?

Lucy short for "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" is my favorite polish that I have made in awhile I wanted to make a polish inspired by the Beattles Song Lucy in the sky with diamonds that is played in one of my favorite movies I am Sam if you've never watched I am Sam you need it to it is such a great movie.

I decided to stick with colors from the original beattles music video for my polish so Lucy is basically a kaleidoscope of glitter it looks gorgeous in the bottle and stunning in these swatches layered over Sancion Angel Zak Shine, I hope you all love Lucy as much I do!

My Top 12 Of 2012!

This morning I saw a post about top mani's/polishes for 2012 and it reminded me of how much fun I had doing my top 12 last year so I decided I would go through my old posts and pic my favorite polishes for this year surprise surprise they're mainly indies but there is an awesome variety of colors/finishes, a few of my favorite things this year were chunky glitter, matte glitter, square glitter, duchromes, holos of course and anything blue, purple or fuchsia.

As well as my top 12 polishes I have also included my favorite Nail Art Mani for this year I love snoopy so much I had to include this mani in my post, i'm not sure if all my top 12 polishes were released in 2012 the list is more just my favorite polishes I swatched this year.

When I started making my own polishes I never planned on selling them, for months I just made them for friends and swaps and paid for all my franken supplies and glitter with the funds I made from my blog sale but eventually I stopped buying polish altogether and started an obsession with needing all the glitter every shape size and color I ended up with a lot more glitter than anyone would need for a hobby so I have decided to sell a few a my creations.

My first restock will be tonight 22 Nov at 7pm QLD Time please click here to be taken to my big cartel store the site is currently in maintenance mode but it will go live tonight I am not planning on selling full time I hope to restock one to two times per month and will post updates on my blog and facebook page I am currently only shipping to Australia I am really sorry I cannot accept any International orders at this time.

My friend Candice designed my big cartel store for me I love the colors and the banner she is a fantastic designer that has been doing a lot of design work for Indie brands so I was so happy to work with her again.

I have made so many polishes in the last six months and have decided not to release a collection just an assortment of my favorite shades I will be selling nine shades tonight and plan on adding more shades to my store when I have my next store restock in December.

Indigo

Indigo is kind of my dream polish my favorite color is blurple and I always imagined making a blurple based glitter polish it is packed with turquoise & fuchsia dot and micro glitter I love dot glitter so much I just can't get enough of it you will see it is a common theme through all my polishes, Rebecca from Polished Peripherals did an amazing post featuring Indigo really gorgeous pics and the most awesome macro shot of the glitter.

Jem

Jem named after Jem from Jem & The Holograms is a bright pink jelly packed full of multiple sizes and shapes of pink blue and holographic glitter, Jem reminds me so much of a couple of my friends that adore pink!

Tink

Tink named after Tinkerbell because it reminds me of fairies is my favorite polish at the moment every time I wear it I don't want to take it off its so pretty and sparkly. Tink is a mix of pink lilac and purple holo stars with micro holographic glitter in a purple tinted base my pics really don't capture how gorgeous it really is if you like girly polishes this is definitely one to put at the top of your wishlist.

Ruby

Ruby I fell in love with straight away I LOVE fuchsia glitter so much and was so happy with how it worked out when mixing every size of my fuchsia glitter with red and chartreuse glitter and with some red star glitter that I had been dying to find a use for, this is Ruby layered over hits Atena such a pretty combo.

Eclipse

I love shaped glitter and there are a lot of polishes with crescent glitter around at the moment I wanted to do something a little different and came up with this combo of sky blue turquoise and holo glitter with gorgeous sky blue holo moons this is Eclipse layered over Jade Hypnose one again this polish was really hard to capture it is much more gorgeous & holo in real life.

Nebula

Nebula is one of my favorite glitter mixes multiple sizes and shapes of purple fuchsia emerald and chartreuse glitter in a clear base this is Nebula layered over Jade Fascinio Violeta.

Spectacle

Spectacle is my only non glitter polishes a sheer blue based purple jelly packed full of gorgeous flecks it has an awesome gold shimmer, another polish that is so much betters in real life.

Squared

Squared used to be cause One Square Two Square but I changed the name as it didn't fit in with my other colors it is the most awesome ultramarine blue jelly with multiple sizes of white matte squares and micro glitter I love this shade of blue so much.

Topaz

I first blogged about Topaz in August but decided no to swatch it again as I loved the pics so much to view my previos post about Topaz please click here, Topaz has been really popular with my friends and I have sent a lot of bottles out as gifts it is a really great glitter mix the pics below are of Topaz layered of OPI Russian Navy Suede.

Ozotic Beam - 907

Ozotic Beam 907 is clear top coat packed full of duochrome glass flecks its very hard to see in my pics but the flecks shift from blue-purple and yellow-green this is one coat of Ozotic 907 layered over Essence Cool And The Gang I love glass flecks but do prefer them to be in colored base rather than having to be layered over another polish even they do stand out really well when layered.

piCture pOlish - Mardi Gras

I really like this mani it looks almost like a cheats version of galaxy nails this is piCture pOlish Mardi Gras layered over Enchanted Polish Magical Mystery Tour these polishes make a really great combo. Mardi Gras is a mixture of Aqua, Fuchsia and Silver Hex glitter in a clear base and Magical Mystery Tour is a gorgeous duochrome polish that shifts blue to purple similar to the colors of glitter in Mardi Gras.

Ozotic Sugar - 902

I have more Ozotic pics for you this week this is two coats of Ozotic Sugar 902 layered over OPI Ink I am a huge blurple fan and love duochromes so I am really glad they sent me this color to review I did struggle to get good pics of the color shift but I think you can see well it in a couple of these pics.

Ozotic Scatter Chrome - 910

I am very excited to post my first review in ages! Ozotic 910 is from the new Scatter Chrome Collection, 910 is a gold chrome similar to Chanel Perdiot that is packed full of scattered holo particles, as you can see gold does not really suit my skin color it makes me look way too tanned but the polish itself looks stunning I love the scattered holo effect all my pics were taken in the sun so you can see how holo it looks but you cannot see much of the duochrome color shift which changes from gold to green.

Glam Polish - One Square, Two Square....

So last post I promised I would show you some of my new creations this is a polish I made recently called One Square Two Square.... multiple sizes of white matte glitter in a ultramarine blue base I really love this I wish I didn't have to take it before I go back to work tomorrow.

I had no power yesterday morning so it was a great opportunity to paint my nails for the first time this month I am going to try really hard to find the time to post more this month.

I brought KB Shimmer Lilac Dreams months ago but haven't had the chance to wear it such a gorgeous mix of glitter it makes me want to go play with all my glitter i have been making a few polishes lately my glitter addiction has taken over as my main addiction now I mainly buy glitter and frankening supplies now instead of polish its saving me a lot of money my polish habit used to be really expensive.

I have so many untrieds since I haven't been blogging for a few weeks I'm going to try work my way through all the indies first since there are so many of them, Candeo Jellybean a yellow creme base with pink, purple and blue hex glitter I don't think this polish really suits me I much rather smitten polish pink lemonade it is my favorite glitter polish with a yellow base.

Finally I'm back!!!!!!!!! My new job has been taking up so much of my time so I haven't had a chance to paint my nails in a few weeks it is especially hard since I'm not allowed to wear polish at my new job with really sucks!

I thought i'd celebrate my return by swatching a polish from one of my fav indie brands Smitten Polish, The one on the right is a bright blue creme with multiple sizes of fuchsia and blue it is very me such a great combo.

Sorry I haven't posted in over a week I have been going through the interview process for a new job which has been quite nerve racking, I found out a few days ago that I got the job so I have been running around like crazy all weekend trying to get organized.

Today is my first day and i'm pretty nervous which is why i'm up typing this post at 3am instead of sleeping, I will be pretty busy training at my new job for a couple of weeks but hope to get back to blogging soon my untrieds are already piling up and I have been making lots of new polishes to share with you when I start blogging again :)

Glam Polish - Topaz

Topaz is another polish I created when I was making Tanzanite they are very similar so I have been calling them sisters.

Topaz is a gorgeous mix of ocean blue, purple, fuchsia, emerald and black square and hex glitter in a clear base this is two coats layered over OPI Russian Navy Suede I love this combo I think the blue glitter is so beautiful I couldn't bring myself to remove this today to swatch the new polishes that arrived in the mail, even though I am not selling my polishes I am planning on adding more gemstone themed polishes to this collection as I think there are so many pretty combinations I can come up with.

I am really excited to share another one of my creations with you today this is something really special I came up with a few days ago called Tanzanite she is a gorgeous mix purple, fuchsia, emerald and black hex and square glitter in a clear base I really love this combination of glitter it is so pretty I have a few different swatches so you can see how beautiful she really is.

I am loving making my own polishes but I am only making them for fun for gifts, swaps and giveaways, I do hope to include Tanzanite in a future giveaway as I have had some really great compliments about her already.

Hare Polish - Magic Mist

I got distracted for a few days so now i'm back to posting the last of my Hare Polish swatches, Magic Mist is a gorgeous purple base packed full of purple, orange and blue glitter this is two coats layered over China Glaze Virtual Violet. The glitter mix in Magic Mist is very similar to the glitter mix used in Afterglow but the base colors make the polishes look unique I am not sure which one I like better I love blue and purple so its hard for me to choose.

Crowstoes - Gomez

Gomez is the last of my Crowstoes polishes it is an awesome mix of blue, black, gunmetal and gold glitter in a clear base this is two coats layered over Ma.nish.ma. Electric Blue, I can't wait to buy more Crowstoes polishes polishes when Lauri releases new colors I wish she still sold them herself though as $14 each from llarowe is a little pricey.

Crowstoes Morticia is one of those polishes I brought for the name I am a big adams family fan so had to swatch all three of the Crowstoes Adams Family inspired polishes, Morticia is an amzing glitter mix packed full red, black, purple and gunmetal hex and bar glitter in a clear base this is two coats layered over a silver base.

Elevation Polish - Pata Puffer

Elevation Polish Pata Puffer is a limited edition shade from the 180 Degrees South Collection it is a gorgeous fuchsia holo glitter mix this is two coats layered over China Glaze QT it is so pretty and sparkly! Elevation polish restocks her website on the 7th of each month.

Crowstoes - Thing

I'm taking a day off from posting my Hare Polish swatches as I swatched this polish yesterday afternoon and it is just too exciting not to share straight away, Crowstoes Thing is awesome rainbow glitter bomb such an amazing mix of colors and shapes it was hard to photograph but it looks so awesome in real life this is two coats layered over a gold base.

Lauri is a genius and Crowstoes is definitely one of my favorite indie brands at the moment I can't wait to see the new colors she is releasing soon.

Hare Polish - Afterglow

Hare Polish Afterglow is a gorgeous blue creme packed full of red, orange and purple glitter a couple of the Hare polishes share this same glitter mix but I really like it combined with the blue base color, this is two coats of Afterglow layered over sinful colors Neptune it is definitely one of my favorite Hare Polish colors I have swatched.

Hare Polish - Rad Cloud

I swatched half my Hare Polish haul yesterday and am hoping to swatch the rest today so i'm going to be spamming you with Hare Polish pics for the next week, this is two coats of Rad Cloud over a thin coat of OPI Pink Friday this is a really cute combination of glitter it reminds me of colors from a vegetable garden and the the pink base reminds me of bunnies I almost didn't type that cause it sounds so silly but oh well you can all laugh at me and hopefully a few of you might see the resemblance.
