Few women can resist the allure of Lia Sophia jewelry. And on Saturday afternoon the brand once again razzle dazzled the Hollywood style set with a chic clam bake in Malibu. Designer Dani Stahl, who co-hosted the event with Rachel Zoe, Estella Warren, Elena Kiam and Brooke Davenport, presented her latest sparkling creations from the Red Carpet line. Lindsay Lohan, Mena Suvari and Lynn Collins were among those who piled on crystallized baubles, neon cocktail rings, and layered chain necklaces from the Cape Town III collection. Though celebrity bling is usually far too pricey for us, Lia Sophia makes star style available to the masses with prices ranging from $100-$1200.
You can always trust H&M to be conscious of what’s in style now. They’re always right on trend, and their stores are always fully stocked with clothing and accessories that reflect runway looks (but not runway prices). This autumn’s H&M Divided Exclusive collection draws inspiration from the glamorous biker girl and the ‘80s and ‘90s, as well as many runway trends. It focuses on structure and detail rather than color, featuring elements ranging from studs to zips to lace. We love how the collection is part rough ‘n’ tough, part sleek ‘n’ chic, and we can’t wait for these looks to hit stores.

Fly us to the moon! Our bags are packed and we’re ready to go. That was the sentiment shared by the hundreds of New York’s chicest who gathered at the Museum of Natural History Monday night to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Lunar Landing. Louis Vuitton hosted the bash at the Rose Center for Earth and Space to commemorate the epic milestone. The luxury brand’s current campaign features astronauts Buzz Aldrin, Jim Lovell and Sally Ride, whose travels have taken them farther than anyone. Aldrin and Lovell were on hand to party and share their stories as Daniel Lalonde, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton presided over the festivities, which uniquely fused science and fashion.

Lance Bass has been trying to get to the moon for a while now and he stood listening to the icons itching for a chance in a shuttle. Estelle, who wore a liquid tar futuristic Louis Vuitton dress, headed to greet the guests of honor as DJ Cassidy played her song. “I’m going to take a picture with the astronauts,” she said. Though many have never ventured through the atmosphere, the evening provided encounters with those who seem straight from another planet like the Victoria’s Secret Angels. Miranda Kerr defied graffiti in her own way. “Look I can kick my heel to my head,” she said as she repeatedly proved her flexibility in an LV ensemble. A pregnant Adriana Lima looked like a star in a bluish gray J.Mendel dress. As moon rock desserts, which were actually white chocolate covered rice crispy treats, circulated the space, guests like Jessica Szohr, Whitney Port and Cassie weighed themselves on Pluto and explored the specimens from space.

For a brand known for its luxe travel accessories, last night’s party was the ultimate pairing. “Some journeys change mankind forever,” and celebrating the extraordinary makes perfect sense. ~Nola Weinstein

The denim vest has become somewhat of a controversial topic in fashion recently-some love it, some hate it, and some just think not everybody can pull the look off (so best to stay away). We think it’s a pretty cool trend and one that will soon be all over the place (it’s already getting there). Super stylish celebs like Sienna Miller, Kim Kardashian, and Kate Bosworth have all sported the look. So even if your unsure if it’ll work for you, Just know this: it’s an edgy, casual, cool look, that can be thrown on with a tee, tank top, a dress, (a scarf for a little something extra) and you’re good to go. Let us know what you think about this trend? ~Adam London
