My Lip Stuff Natural Lip Balms

Few years ago I showed you variety of flavored lip balms in here. Since I really loved them, I used them up and shared them with my friends. Special scents make them so personal and fun to give away. My Lip Stuff carries more than 500 flavors of lip balm, it simply blows me away when I browse their site.

This winter has been extra bad for my lips. I got cold sore which was so bad that doctor put me on special medication. After I got rid of it my lips were super dry and damaged because of the medication. I tried different lip balms, but didn't get enough moisture from them. Lastly I remembered My Lip Stuff super moisturising lip balms. I ordered immediately sample pack which contains 3 full sizes natural lip balms but you have to pay reduced shipping, hence the "sample pack". I really recommend everyone to choose the sample pack first, so you can have small variety and shipping will be cheaper.
When I was checking out I simply added my choices of flavors into the comments section. I took about a week to get my lip balms (they shipped from the other side of the world).

I was super happy they arrived quickly, my lips feel better already. My choices were Brown Sugar, Pink Grapefruit and Irish Coffee.

They are all skin, earth and animal friendly and contain sunflower oil, beeswax, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, castor oil, jojoba oil, avocado oil, aloe vera, essential and/or flavor oil.
As I said they are super moisturising and stay on reasonably long. They give moist and slightly glossy look to lips. Huge plus is that you can actually feel that these are moisturising (not like lip balms full of bad stuff that pretend to be moisturising).

All flavors are super true to what they claim to be. I almost want to eat them all.

I have had dark circles under my eyes since I remember myself. Because of this I have used so many eye creams and most of the times I have disappointed. As long as results go I really like how it moisturises without leaving eye area greasy. It definitely combats any wrinkles, makes skin super smooth and illuminates dark eye area. Although as I have genetically dark circles I can't make them super bright forever, it is simply impossible. Circaroma Skin Care for Painless Winter

When winter time arrives I become a huge believer in natural and everything moisturising- oils, balms, scrubs. Basically anything that fights against that central heating/cold weather caused flaky and dehydrated skin, you name it! Lately I have noticed my skin has reacted to the season like it always does. My skin becomes flaky dry between my brows, on my cheeks and produces more oil on my t-zone. So, ladies, if your skin starts to produce extra oil, you should look into more moisturising products, because chances are it needs extra nourishing.

Therefore I have been loving three products to death. These are all organic, super luxurious and perfect for winter time.

My Circaroma Soothing Facial Cleansing Balm with English Camomile and Kunzea. As I said it contains gentle chamomile, anti-bacterial kunzea, skin softening shea butter, aromatic french lavender, almond and jojoba oils which remove everyday impurities whilst naturally hydrating.

It is creamy soft and rich balm which smells divinely pure and calming. I love natural scents like this. Because of that it is super valuable to use right before going to bed, it calms every sense and cleans every pore at the same time.

Little goes a long way, so for the whole face and neck area I only need a littlest amount. I rub it all over my damp face and it gets almost milky in contact with water. After making sure I got every spot on my face I remove it with warm damp wash cloth. It leaves skin super soft, clean, hydrated. First I thought it will leave oily residue or greasy feeling on my skin, but it doesn't at all. I would recommend it to every skin type, especially when your skin in need of extra boost.

After cleansing I apply Circaroma Skin Gentle Facial Serum. It contains rose otto, softening apricot oil, pure infusions of healing echinacea and st. john's wort which will restore balance to parched delicate skin and provide all over skin radiance. Again, it smells divine and so purely calming.

I use only half a pump twice a day and it makes such a difference. You will notice the chance with only one use. I applied it for the first time at night and when I woke up in the morning my skin was like velvet. As long as my skin's condition goes I am prone to blemishes. I usually break up immediately when my skin doesn't like something and it didn't with this product. Even though this serum is oil based, it doesn't leave skin oily when used moderately. As I said half a pump for the whole face and neck is enough.

Rose Wood Red Lips for Winter

I decided to do a separate post on lip liner I once showed in here when I was writing about Mineral Magic Makeup in general. Somehow I have obtained some courage to deal with red lip products. I love plain nude eye with red lip. I noticed that this mineral lip pencil by Mineral Magic called Rose Wood is oh so special and perfect for fall or winter. It is brownish rose, almost like plum colour which is in season right now. It has cold undertones, so teeth will appear lighter!

As it is mineral, it is totally healthy for lips. It doesn't break or melt, so it lasts long and I don't need much sharpening between uses. It goes on great and smooth, needless to use and strength like with some hard pencils need when applying. It lasts long, somewhat like lip stain.
If you didn't understand it yet, I use lip pencil all over my lip and nothing else!

I simply draw a line around my lip and fill it in. To glam up I sometimes add gloss, but mostly I enjoy my matte finish lips.
Look at this colour!

It doesn't look like lip pencil at all. It would be perfect for people who don't wear red lip that often, but still want to have an option. So, you don't need to have a lipstick to wear red glammed lip.

Stay-Put Eyebrows

To start with I have had brow problems from my teen years to the last year when I started grow some brow hair with lovely LiBrow I have ranted so much about. You can read everything about it when choosing "LiBrow" from my categories. Now when I actually have some material to work with, I like to have full and thick brows I can show off. As I don't need much filling in anymore, it is all about shape now. Beautiful brows add so much more to face, you actually don't need very much makeup at all to look decent.
I have used powders, I still love my Senna Cosmetics Brow Kit. I just don't like wax that should hold that powder in place for the whole day. So I find myself reapplying these powders through out the day to maintain the shape.
I have discovered Magic Styl'O Pens. They have huge variety of colours to choose from. I love the idea of using them on lips, as an eyeliner, eyeshadow... you name it. I am particulary talking about one shade I am using on my brows. It is in shade Pearl Grey and it is basically light grey tone.

Magic Styl'O pen is a semi-permanent water based felt tip pencil you can use for everything on your face. It doesn't smudge, rub off and stays like you wanted it to. It gives pretty light shade with one application and can be darkened with second layer. This way you will not create super dark line you must wear for hours, because this will last super long on your brows.

I like Pearl Grey because it is has no red undertones like some brown colours have. Overall it is the perfect ashy colour for most of the brows. There are also Taupe, Espresso Brown, Gorgeous Brown, Taupe and even Black Velvet you can pick out using colour chart.

With this pen I have the exact same shape in the evening that it was in the morning. It comes off with makeup remover or when washing the face, but not all of it. It doesn't bother me when little stays on, but alcohol based toner should get everything off when someone is bothered.

Here is the shot I took after applying it and letting it to try about 5 minutes. I wiped my brows with clean tissue. You can get the idea how it stays on amazingly.

Also as I said you need to give it few minutes to try, but it is a positive side, because when you mess up with the application, you can clean up the mistake with no struggle at all.

For the record, I really, really love this product and will buy it again in no time when I run out of it. I also suggest it to someone who has really sparse eyebrows and needs some serious filling in. With little stroking action it would give beautiful end result! What a shame I didn't have it in my teen years when I had about two hair instead my brows and nothing at all.

Adding Colours into my Life: Avon Colordisiac Lipstick

When it comes to picking out lip products I usually pick out everything that is nude, beige or light pink. I was pretty daring when I ordered this Avon's Colordisiac Lipstick in shade Can't Resist Coral. The reason that urged me to do that is that I have been craving after red lipsticks for a while now. But when it was time to do something about it, I thought that I would pick out something more subtle than deep true red... so I decided to get a coral red lipstick that would suit also perfectly into the daytime as well as nighttime. With minimum eye makeup I have been wearing this lipstick and couldn't be more happy about it.

It comes out more subtle than in tube by giving very smooth, creamy satin finish. Staying power isn't as good as some matte lipstick would have, but it is very great for sating lipstick. It smells wonderful, doesn't try my lips out and adds so much to the whole look when I feel like having a little colour in my life.

It has just the right amount of red in it without being too dramatic. In my opinion it the shade that anyone can wear easily without a doubt.

Mint Chocolate Chips on Eyes

Today when organizing my makeup I found the most perfect eye pigment for Christmas and winter time. It is brown colour that can be layered for more dramatic result than neutral eye. Its fine and smooth glimmer in it adds so much when achieving perfect holiday eye.
Green particles in it don't show up very extreme as in the jar. It catches the light in different angle and stays very subtle yet festive if needed.

It is Mint Chocolate Chip by Lumiere Cosmetics and I have a sample size of it which is available option if you don't feel like buying a full size. There is plenty of product in the jar.

I didn't get a lot of fall out as I was trying to be careful with it. Shadow being very pigmented you don't need much of it and so the result will be cleaner and more neat. If you do get fall out, it is very easy to remove it by just wiping it off afterwards. It doesn't stain rest of the makeup. I was very pleased with that as some pigments can ruin under eye area with seconds.

You can use this pigment wet or dry. I opted for dry and still got pretty good coverage with it. For an evening eye or wanting more dramatic look I think that using it with liquid will be great!

After writing this post I think I am craving an actual mint chocolate now.

Less Breakage with Denman Hair Brushes

I have never paid much attention to my hair brushes. Usually I invested more into my hair products than brushes and when my hair was letting me down, I would blame my hair care. But we all know that when we are at hairdresser's his/her brush goes always better through hair and feels always much more comfortable on scalp. I know! And I always thought that these brushes are not easy to get or are super expensive. Luckily there is Denman with its huge variety of brushes that are used by many hairdressers and I can't blame them. These really are good quality brushes with reasonable prices.
I have introduced two brushes into my hair care and since then my hair is a lot more manageable, less tangled.
The most used brush is probably this classic Denman's half round brush that comes in variety of sizes. I have D3 Medium 7 Row Styling Brush. It is medium sized brush with nylon pins and anti-static rubber pad. It feels very comfortable and natural in hand, doesn't pull hair out. Huge plus is that you can adjust the brush by pulling some of the pins out if you have long coarse or curly hair or put them pack in if you feel like you need more control again.
I found that it is easier to brush and detangle my hair when I get some of the rows out.

The handle of the brush is heavy duty, so it is comfortable to hold even when styling. Brush itself is half round, so it makes a perfect brush to blow dry with. I love it mostly because I get minimum fall out with it. Usually I was rather afraid to comb my hair too often, because sometimes I got drastic amounts of hair into my hands. I would suggest to give the eye over your everyday hair brush when you are struggling with the hair falling out.

Another brush I won't use on everyday basis, but still deserves a mention is Large Head Hugger. It is perfect for adding volume when blow drying. I has ceramic-coated barrels which retain heat enabling damage free styling. Its hourglass shaped barrel makes volume providing or root lifting super easy, because it "hugs" the head (hence the name).

Again, it is designed to be super easy to hold when styling. With the fact that heat runs through its holes in barrel it lessens the time spent on styling (in order to get a proper volume) a lot.

Of course I haven't used every brush on Denman's selection, but as long as these two brushes go, I would pay a lot more for such as high quality brushes. For a less or minimum breakage it is small price to pay. These last basically forever and give so much more to the whole hair care routine.

To sum up I must say that don't underestimate your brushes. I makes a difference to have a good hair brush!

I think it is the most convenient and mind blowing idea he has put into practice. If you are a woman, you can understand.
Unfortunately you have to visit Berlin to take advantage of that unique selection of goods he is offering. Lucky you, if you actually live in Berlin.

If you are like me and can't have access to "little dream world" he has created, you can bring little luxury into your life by trying Shan Rahimkhan hair care. It includes 3 different lines to meet different hair needs: true volume, true colour and true control. His hair care is completely free from parabens and sulphates that can weigh hair down and make it appear flat.
Packaging of all the products are sleek and luxurious yet not overdone and simple.

I can talk about three products I happily used for you. Everything I tried I tried for couple of months to give them a decent time to work with my hair.

For shampoo I used True Control Go Smooth shampoo with yogurtene and bamboo. It is especially made for curly, frizzy and stressed hair. Yogurtene should give essential lipids and vitamins to moisturize and enhance suppleness. It smooths hair structure and adds brilliance.

First of all I liked the pump on the bottle. It is super easy to get the product out with the pump. Shampoo had very pleasant clean smell, not overpowering or synthetic at all. It felt like those clean and pure expensive shampoos when lathering, because foam wasn't too rich like you can get with shampoos that are full of chemicals. It can bother some people, because they think that when shampoo doesn't have super rich lather it doesn't clean properly, but I know it isn't true. It needs time to get used it though. As I said it cleans hair very well. I didn't need second usage even if my hair was super dirty.
I think it does what it promises, because my hair was super shiny and not frizzy after washing with it. But as I have super dry and damaged hair I did notice that I could be more moisturizing for me. I would recommend it to people who's hair is normal or not too dry. I definitely needed to add extra moisture to my hair, because it did a very good job with cleaning. To me it worked like deep cleansing shampoo I used once a week and I was happy about it.

Another once a week product I used was True Volume nourishing volume treatment with bamboo and quinoa extract. It is basically a hair mask to use instead conditioner whenever needed. It is especially great to have when hair is treated in some way. Mine is coloured and sometimes heat treated, so it really worked miracles on my hair. It is quite thick white creamy paste and a little goes super long way. It feels very moisturizing so even a little amount of time with holding it on hair works. I love these kind of hair masks, because I sometimes haven't got a time to sit hours with my hair mask on.
As long as volume goes I didn't notice something mind blowing or special about that. I have naturally thick hair so I think it wouldn't show on me even if it would give extra volume.
Bottom line, it gives badly needed moisture and shine to dry hair. Results last longer than till the next wash. It makes hair so easy to comb and style afterwards, so I think it definitely adds something good to get them more manageable.

Last but not least is True Control Go Smooth Style and Care with bamboo and aloe vera.
This product I love the most for all three. It is leave-in lotion curly, frizzy and stressed hair. It adds more moisture and shine to hair than any spray conditioner ever. I work a hazelnut size amount of product through my damp hair, style and let it dry. It gets hair super manageable, shiny without making them heavy or greasy.

I don't have too much curl to my hair, but I think it would work even more amazingly on curly hair. It would define each curl and after drying nobody would notice that you added some product into your locks. I smells a lot like bamboo, so imagine that shiny, healthy hair with divine sheer scent.

If you want to get only one product, my suggestion is to look into leave-in products or treatments, because it really makes difference. Especially if you feel like there is something lack of in your hair. I did!

Fanciest Toothbrush You Can Even Use in the Dark

There are so many toothbrushes on market that everybody should find their own which meets their own expectations. I have had a "thing" to toothbrushes since I was a kid. I always had to have the prettiest and most unique one. This way I didn't go to bed without brushing my teeth or sprint out of the door without brushing my teeth in the mornings.
My mind was literally blowing when I saw the most fanciest and smartest toothbrush- Blue Illume.

When you first look at it you'll a simple good quality tooth brush. It is designed by hand, so it is very comfortable to hold. It has rubbery texture all over the handle, so it won't slide out of your hand. Brush head is simple and has medium strenght bristles, cleans everything without adding too much unnecessary pressure on your teeth.

The main feature of Blue Illume is its two little lamps inside the brush. You can lit them when pushing the button on the handle. These lamps are using the blue light that acts with your oxide components in toothpaste and in time it gives cleaner, fresher and wither smile. To get maximum results, it can be used with toothpaste that contains baking soda (or Hydrogen Peroxide), but that isn't recommended for a long term use.

Another mind making point is a study where scientists discovered that blue light tools can kill even more bacteria than ordinary toothbrushes.

The research, published in the April Journal of Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, suggests that light in the blue region of the visible spectrum might be useful in preventing, controlling, or treating periodontitis - an oral infection that can lead to loss of bone and teeth.

"Some of the key bacterial pathogens associated with periodontitis produce and accumulate compounds that are sensitive to light," said Nikos Soukos, director of the Forsyth Laboratory of Applied Molecular Photomedicine and the principal investigator. "We found that, when exposed to particular wavelengths of light, a percentage of those pathogens was eradicated within seconds."

I have have used this toothbrush constantly over one month now. Blue Illume promises that teeth will be noticeably cleaner and fresher after at least on month of usage. I personally really noticed some results after few brushes. Apart from the fact that this tool is extremely fun to use in the dark, brush glowing in the mouth, my teeth felt cleaner during the day and after every wash. Amount of dental plague after long day was smaller than ever. Now I don't panic when I am out of gum in the middle of the day.

The last point I have to make is about my tongue. I have noticed that it hasn't got that white residue on it anymore. I was more than surprised, because having my allergies and problems with my sinuses I didn't get rid of it even if I wanted to.

I am continuing to use my Blue Illume and see where it is going, because I am extremely pleased with this toothbrush.

My Go To Makeup Match Book

Lately when it comes to makeup, I am all about convenience and natural, but still pretty. I don't take myself a lot of time to get ready and apply my makeup, but I still want to look presentable and good about myself. I have discovered the easiest way to apply makeup especially when I am in a hurry or traveling. It is the Match Book by TINte Cosmetics. They carry a three of them: Smokey Eyes, Natural Beauty and Blushed Beauty. I decided to go with a Blushed Beauty, that includes two eyeshadow colours, blusher, eye liner, two lip glosses and two tiny brushes. It all comes in hard cardboard box with the mirror. It closes with the magnet, so no makeup stains in my handbag, because I carry it with me all the time.

I think that Blushed Beauty one is perfect for fall. It definitely adds a warmth and colour into face while staying subtle and natural. Eye shadows are not matte, but shimmery. They have that slight sheen to it. Lighter colour is a pink vanilla like shade that will make a good base and highlight colour. Darker one is a natural brown that fits perfectly into crease or makes a good all over lid shade. Cream eyeliner is the most beautiful dark purple plum colour.
Rosy blusher gives that healthy complexion on cheeks with only one swipe, because it is quite pigmented.
Lip glosses are more like lip lacquers, they stay on without any problem. You can drink at least two cups of coffee, they don't smear anywhere. With lacquers like that you can experience a slight stickiness, but it is not super sticky or gross. Pink gloss is perfect for daytime, darker can be perfect for that extra push or if you feel that it is just one of these days if you need more colour in your life.

I am little bit unsure about these brushes. Eye shadow brush could be more thicker in my opinion, but it does its job if you don't want to carry extra brushes or sponge applicators with you. I personally think that with these shadows you can't make mistakes even when you apply them with your fingers. Outcome will be perfect! Eyeliner brush does its job extremely well, nothing to complain about. It is not angled brush, but cream liner goes on without unnecessary struggle. Lip brush is like any other lip brush- synthetic and small. Other than that it is noticeable that these are good quality brushes, they don't shed or fall apart. It is not easy to have good brushes with makeup palettes.

With the good size mirror and whole concept of this palette I think that it is incredibly good to have this. Ladies with a busy lifestyle or ladies who don't want to invest a lot of time into makeup application would make the most of this product.

How to Put Whole Year Amount of Makeup on Face?

Tonight I watched a punch of beauty videos in Youtube and one, the most interesting, caught my eye right away. The video shows how a woman will look when she applies her 365 days/year amount of makeup in one day.

It looks pretty gross at the end. Good thing that they didn't apply mascara, that would have been devastating to her eyes.

Shielo for Reflecting Hair

I used few samples of Shielo's haircare range back in summer. The most amazing one of them deserves a separate blog post and I allow it to shine in its awesomeness from now on.
It seems like the whole haircare range is very distinctive by its texture, scent and ingredients list. Everything is paraben free, sulphate free, smells divine and textures are creamiest ever!

Now on to the Shielo Color Protect Reflection Conditioner, because that is the reason I'm writing this. The texture of it more creamy than liquid. It can look more like a hair mask than conditioner, but at the same time it isn't super thick like some hair masks tend to be.
If you open the bottle, you can smell how divine the scent is, reminded me a lot of coconut! The colour of the product is light creamy orange with smooth shiny sheen running through it.

As the name of the product may reveal, it is perfect for colour treated hair. It seals in the hair cuticle and that allows the colour last longer plus adds extra shine to it. I usually hold it in my hair few minutes just after shampooing. After last rinse the effect of the conditioner can be noticed immediately. It leaves hair smooth like silk, but at the same time doesn't make them heavy like some smoothing conditioners can do. It feels like conditioner is taking care of every hair in particular and doesn't miss any of them, because after taken care of the damage it leaves hair a little bit textured. Therefore, when I use this conditioner I usually doesn't need any leave-in products afterwards, because they aren't slippery, unruly and hold place just perfectly.

The only downside, that isn't downside to me, I can see is the scent of the product. I know people who doesn't want their hair product to be scented at all, even if the smell good. If you are one of them, think twice before getting this conditioner.
I also believe that you don't need to have colour-treated hair to use this, it would work great on dry or damaged hair as well. If your hair is more greasy than normal, then you wouldn't love it as much as I do. It is more moisturising than you would want your conditioner to be.

After all it will be definitely worth the investment. It is multipurpose product that can cover a lot of hair needs plus every girl with coloured hair knows how hard is to maintain that just-after-colouring shine! It really can do it!

Facial Deep Cleansing

I have found and happily used a facial mask that really gets everything bad, including impurities, pimples etc out of the skin. As a huge admirer of Liz Earle I almost knew I would love her Deep Cleansing Mask that is especially created for oily, combination and problem-prone skin.

This mask is highly concentrated with clay (green and white), manuka honey, propolis, geranium essential oil and aloe vera. It sure does feel highly packed with these ingredients, because tingly effect occurs when applied. That is the reason why people with sensitive skin shouldn't put this on their face!

I personally love that warm and tingly feeling, it sure does burst my circulation and brings healthy flushing complexion on my face. I leave mask on for about 10 minutest and then use warm soaked sponge, that my mask came with, to get absolutely everything off.

The most important thing is that it cleanses my skin, doesn't leave anything unwanted there, but at the same time doesn't dry skin out. The scent of the mask is quite distinctive, reminds me a lot of propolis and honey.

I have already gone through one 75ml tube of this mask and it lasted about 6 months. I use it once a week.

Mama Mio Boob Tube

Mama Mio carries a variety of face and body care products to deal with imperfections. I observed their website a little and I got an impression that they have basically everything, you name it, they have it! They even have award winning pregnancy skin care, so it sounds impressive to me.

I decided I will put one of their products on a test to see if there really are miracles in a tube.
Mama Mio's Boob Tube is a bust and neck firmer for dive-in cleavage and for smooth, firm neck. At least this is what it promises to give. I put this cream on to a test and used up the whole tube this miracle product. To get the most of it, I applied it daily on my neck and cleavage.

The cream itself comes in colourful 100 ml tube with a pump, so everything stays sanitary.
White cream is quite thick, creamy, but very easy to blend and doesn't leave any residue. I noticed immediately that the cream is very highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I used about one pump of the product for my whole neck and bust area.

The scent reminds me herbs, but in a good way. I know people who don't like that "natural" smell of herbs, but you will like this. It smells clean and nothing like overwhelming.

Within a week, I should have noticed that my neck, chest and boobs look firmer, fitter, glowing, more dewy and youthful.
Now, about that! I think I noticed the dewy and glowing finish already after first use, but there was not unbelievable firming or fitting action going on, even after using the whole tube. Besides that I was so pleased with the moisturised, smooth, healthy skin look I got every time I put it on my skin. I really recommend it applying just before going out if you need to expose a little bit of skin and want to look your best- it will make a huge difference!

I also caught myself on a thought that it might be more helpful with the firming action when you are into working out and training your upper body to get firmer cleavage. By the fact that it is concentrated, moisturising and especially designed for neck and bust it will help a lot with that. It also should help most definitely out all the mommies and future mommies to maintain their bust.

But as I said before it won't be a miracle product if you want some extreme results like that saw when you watched the Extreme Makeover show with surgical intervention. Keep that in mind!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish is probably the most famous product from Liz Earle. I decided to jump on the bandwagon and try it out. I was most definitely amazed by it and amongst the other Liz Earle products I tried this impressed me the most. So I decided that it deserves a separate post.
It is basically a creamy cleanser you use with a cleansing cloth to get the best results.

It comes with a cotton cloth and zipper bag that can be used as a makeup bag. The bottle is a 100ml and with a handy pump.

The consistency is quite thick and creamy. It smells divine and very herbal to me. I usually use about two full pumps and apply it all over my moist face. When I rub it in with my fingers, It turns into milky cream that removes my makeup like a wonder. The most satisfying part of using it is when you see your makeup and all the dirt dropping into sink.
As long as removing eye makeup goes, it is not a problem at all. I like to be simple and fast when removing my makeup, so I am very happy that one cleanser does it all: eyes, lips, face. But most of the times I haven't found the one and only cleanser that is able to do it all without irritating my eyes.
So, onto the routine again. When I was able to rub it into my skin and got all the dirtiness out, I rinse my face with a warm water (I don't like lukewarm, I want to feel the warmness on my face). After that I wet the cotton cloth with warm water and apply about one to two pumps of cleanser on my face again. The I start to polish, polish, polish! It feels so amazing and great on my skin. All that finished, I rinse my skin and I am all good to go.

This cleanser doesn't dry my skin out. Actually I was afraid that it will be too heavy form my skin and will break it out. It was surprise that likewise it isn't drying it doesn't feel skin greasy. As this balm feels natural and healing plus free from mineral oil, I would recommend it even to people with problematic skin. Also I can't underestimate the power of polishing, it lefts skin healthy, clear and easy to work with when applying makeup.

It is definitely my favorite part of my skincare routine, because it is simple, fun and quick.

Cheryl Cole and I Swear by Sudocrem!

I think everybody knows about Sudocrem. It is a healing cream originally made for babies to fight with a nappy rash. It is no surprise that women get very creative as far as beauty goes: we use everything from the fridge to maintain our beauty, we are giving 1000 different assignments to Vaseline and we steal Sudocrem from our babies.

So Sudocrem created new product just for grown-ups- Sudocrem Tube! We don't have to listen anymore if somebody asks "Why are you putting this on your face, it is meant for nappy rash?" Believe me, I have heard it several times. I usually say that who cares, it works amazing!

It is basically same old budget friendly skin care cream that comes in a handy 30g tube that is perfect for travelling.

It can be used almost for everything- dry hands, dry elbows and knees, acne prone skin, spots, bites, chapped lips, cold sores etc.
As this cream is antiseptic, I find it very helpful fighting with spots on my face. I put very little on the spot just after cleansing and before going to bed- it kills it pretty fast without drying my face out. Another way of using it is putting it on unexpected spot just before applying my makeup. It creates very thin and invisible barrier on spot, so my makeup doesn't make it worse.
Cheryl Cole swears by it when fighting with acne!

Last but not least I use it on my super dry hands. My became extremely dry after long winter. They were even so dry that I got little dry cracks all over my hands. Usual moisturising hand creams didn't help, because I still had to do cleaning, dish washing etc in home. In this case I obted for Sudocrem and its protecting barrier so my hands were safe from environmental damage and they do their own healing.

Who doesn't know anything about Sudocrem, it is pretty thick white cream that smells a lot like lavender. You need tiny amount to cover entire desired area, so little goes a long way. It can be used as often as needed, no limits on that.

Another thing I wanted to show is SudocremTube's Facebook page. I found it when they held Bagology campaign that I unfortunately missed, because I forgot myself exploring their fan pictures that different women had posted. They basically hired bagologist (person who looks what is inside your handbag and tells everything about your personality) and invited women to post pictures with their bag contents. As I said, unfortunately it is already over, but maybe they do it again sometimes. It is still super therapeutic to me to watch what other women carry around in their bags. Not to mention that reading what bagologist had to say is super interesting. So all the pictures are here.

Phosphor Appear Watch. Is It Worth the Hype?

I have heard so much about Phosphor and their new line Phosphor Appear watches. So, you can understand why I was extremely curious about my own Appear watch. I wanted to know is it really worth the hype I have heard about it.

This watch is pretty unique and special on its own. It is driven by Micro-Magnetic Mechanical Digital (M3D) technology. With each minute, an electrical pulse generates an electromagnetic field that changes the position of the Swarovski™ crystals on the face of the watch, while producing a distinctive unique sound. The sound is like a mild buzzing click that doesn't bother me. As a matter of fact I like this sound, it reminds me that time is passing by with every minute (maybe it will make me appreciate time and use it more reasonably?).

It has two buttons on it side, when I click the upper one it shows the "off mode" that hides the numbers and replaces whole display with shiny crystals (that are catching light from different angles) for 12 hours. When I click the button again, I am back in "time mode". Simple!

The lower button is for "seconds mode" provided with clicking sound.

The leather band of my watch is shiny black one. It also comes in pink, red and white.

So, I have worn this watch two weeks now. It has brought definitely a lot of attention from people asking where did I get it and how it works. The clicking sound amuses everybody! Oddly this little sound feature satisfies me and brings a little happiness into my everyday life whenever I sit down and am able to hear it. I also like big numbers. For me a watch with big numbers have justified itself, because I don't have to struggle to find out time even when I am in a hurry.

As long as price goes, it is quite pricey. It is not extremely expensive like designer watches are, but $249 is good amount of money. Besides that I agree it is worth the investment- it is a UNIQUE watch with very good quality and it looks definitely worth more than it actually is.

In my opinion, worth the hype!

Blistex Lip Massage

I have heard so much good words about Blistex Lip Massage and wanted to tell my opinion about it. It is not bad product, but in my humble opinion it is worst from the whole Blistex collection. It claims to moisturise, exfoliate and massage your lips. It does not have any exfoliation effect, because it has a plastic applicator with few stripes on. How does it suppose to exfoliate your lips? When comparing it to a good lip exfoliation with a toothbrush during daily teeth brushing, this applicator does nothing at all. As long as product itself goes it is sticky and smells a little bit synthetic to me. It didn't have good moisturising or repairing effect on my lips either.

I think the idea of it is very good and admirable, it is the performance that could be better. Maybe I would love it if the product would be more natural and pure. Okay, I am aware that Blistex uses mineral oil and other synthetic ingredients. It is enough when I just know it, I don't want to smell it.
I really wanted to love it!

Avon Nailwear Pro

I discovered Avon's Nailwear Pro nail polishes long from now. After they recreated wider brushes and smoother texture, I love these polishes. They can be applied with one strike and only two coats. Waiting time between coats is super short, I mean it dries pretty quickly.

The main reason of this post is Luxe Lavender that is my new obsession. I bought it when it came out in summer 2010 (yes, it is still fresh and usable) and I started to use it constantly just few weeks ago. Can't really blame, it is spring!

It is creamy and soft pastel lilac and I spiced it up with a golden pattern by Konad.

I was really shocked today when I read this story about Amber who's blog name was stolen by woman called Laura Blake. Amber has been hosting her blog two years and recently she got devastating news that Laura has applied her blog name for the UK trademark. If she is successful in this, Amber would no longer be able to use her blog name "Shoeperwoman" that she once created.

Real blog

Ofcourse Amber contacted Laura about this and Laura told her, she knew about her blog but didn't think that it would be a big deal if she uses that name. And now she wants to protect her "new business" with applying "Shoeperwoman" for the trademark.

Fake and copied blog

Amber (Shoeperwoman real owner) wrote about this situation so that her followers and fellow bloggers woud know what is happening. You can read it in here. Being upset about this blog post, Laura Blake now accuses her in harassment and cyber-bullying. As she haven't made enough damage already, she also told she will go to police and press charges against Amber.

Sounds pretty unfair and disgusting thing to do someone when yous ask me! You work really hard, put your whole heart in something, you spend all your sleepless nights writing blog posts about shoes and fashion (things you really love). You put all your effort in designing your blog so it will look cute like your own baby. You celebrate your blog's birthday with all your followers! And then comes someone who just steals your whole identity, admits it and you can't even protect yourself, because maybe you get accused in harassment. What is wrong with the world?

I think that this Laura Blake really doesn't have an idea what the beauty blog community means and is capable of. Maybe she should do a little research about it. Remember what happened to Sunlove company? If you want to fight with us, you really have to give up once, because bad news spread around faster than good news.
She must be fool when she thinks she can build her company up on something like this. I really doubt about her 8 years of marketing. I am majoring in marketing and can't remember the class where we were told that stealing is OK.

Laura, if you are reading this, you should revalue things about your company's future. There will be a day when you sit next to your pile of shoes and think "what went wrong?", because nobody will buy them.
