I want to ask, whether or not if we develop or use a simple web (e.g. Joomla, etc) then we could setup some specific public IP addresses to not access our website?

If getting traced or ping-ed it seems to be normal.

The most frequent occurrence as such is from speedy, probably because the user is speedy (with a specific IP address range) that send a lot of spam so that the IP address ranges included in the list of spam house, consequently if we want to access a particular web address using a speedy connection, then access will be blocked, whereas if you use the internet connection instead of speedy, the internet access runs normally.

The way that can be normal again, ask for a speedy person to realease your IP address or change the IP address.

In the last few years, cloud computing has become the hot button for IT vendors and IT executives. What is cloud computing all about? Cloud computing means obtaining IT capabilities (i.e., hardware, software, or services) from an outside vendor over a network, usually the Internet. “The cloud” is a metaphor for the Internet, so the “cloud computing” phrase means that IT capabilities of some sort are purchased from a vendor and delivered to the customer over the Internet. From the customer’s standpoint, the IT capabilities com from “the cloud” – the customer doesn’t care where the actual computing is taking place. “The cloud is a smart, complex, powerful computing system in the sky that people can just plug into,” according to Web browser pioneer Marc Andreessen.

The details of cloud computing are still evolving, but there are three basic types of cloud computing. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – also called utility computing – provides the computing capabilities (i.e., servers, networks, storage, and systems software) to augment or replace the functions of an entire in-house data center. Such services are offered by traditional vendors such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Sun, as well as companies such as Amazon that possess extensive computing capacity. Platform as a service (PaaS) provides a development environment as a service – virtualized servers on which users can run existing applications or develop new ones. The highest profile examples are Salesforce.com’s force.com, Microsoft’s Azure, and Google’s App Engine. Software as Service (Saa) is the most widely known and widely used form of cloud computing. SaaS delivers a single application to its multiple users through a Web browser. Familiar examples include Google Gmail and Apps, VoIP from Vonage and Skype, and IM from AOL, Yahoo!, and Google. The key to these types of cloud computing, and to the many variations that exist, is that computing capabilities of some sort are being delivered to the user via a network, usually the Internet.

Note that while the cloud computing terminology is relatively new, the underlying concepts are decades old. Utility computing in some form has been offered for more than two decades. Application service providers (ASPs) arose in the 1990s, where the customer elected to use a “hosted” application – running on the ASP’s server –rather than purchasing the software application and running it on its own equipment. SaaS has also been around since the 1990s. However, the range of cloud computing services now available – or at least currently under development – is making cloud computing a much more attractive alternative for IT executives who need to be able to increase capacity or add capabilities quickly, without investing in new infrastructure, personnel, or software. Cloud computing, in some form, appears here to stay.

Seven “Bold” Predictions for Display Ads in 2015

Speaking as part of Advertising Week in Toronto, Google’s managing director, media and platforms, Americas Barry Salzman spelled out seven “bold” predictions for display ads which the company believes will come true by 2015.

#1: 50% of display ads will include cost per view video
-With 35 hours of video uploaded to YouTube every minute, video is an undeniable part of the consumer experience online, says Salzman. Advertisers need to be in this space, says Google and should only pay for video that is being watched.

#2: 50% of audience will be buying in real time
-Salzman says Google did more transactions in its DoubleClick ad exchange last year than all of the stock markets in the world combined and believes that trend is not slowing down.

#3: Mobile will be the #1 screen
-Mobile users will overtake fixed computer users by 2014, said Salzman. “By 2015 consumers first experience with every brand will be on a mobile device.”Google showed off its Google Goggles application, available for android and iPhone which translates photos into text and displays the results in search, eliminating the need for typing.

#4: Five metrics will be more important and widely used than clicks
-Salzman would not get into the five metrics Google meant in this prediction but did say that in research the last form of measurement that marketers want is clicks. Coincidentally, he says it is the first one given to them.

#5: 75% of ads will be socially enabled
-Social marketing is enabling the two-way conversation that the internet always promised between brands and consumers, says Salzman.

#6: Rich media will be in 50% of brand campaigns
-The static banner is a thing of the past, says Salzman who demonstrated using ads on Media in Canada and The Globe and Mail which featured both live video and twitter feeds. “This grows the display ad pie for everyone.”

#7: Display will be a $50 billion industry, $2 billion in Canada
-Salzman says he knows internet display advertising is getting traction now because he is getting the attention of top creative directors where in early days they were indifferent to being on the platform.

Apple Recorded Increase In Third Quarter Profit

Technology giant from the United States, Apple, managed to get out from recession with recorded profit increase due to strong demand iPhones, laptops, and desktop computers.

In the last three months ended 26 September 2009, Apple recorded net profit of US$ 1.67 billion or up 47% from the same period in the previous year. The increase was leveraged by increasing sales by 25% which is US$ 9.87 billion.

The increase in sales came from rising sales of computers by 17% and iPhone sales up to 7%. Only sales of iPod sales declined by 8%. Apple shares which are based in California was closed at the level of US$ 189.86 in the Nasdaq index.

Steve Jobs, Apple's chief executive, admitted surprised to see the sales of Macintosh computers and the iPhone which may have been sold more than the previous quarter. According to Steve, in the this third quarter, the company sold 3.1 million computers, 19% increase from the same period last year.

Analysts said the cuts of phone prices have helped increase Apple's iPhone sales in the this third quarter. "The launch of the latest operating system named Snow Leopard, also encouraged the sale of Apple computers," said Dan Akerman, Senior Editor at CNET.com.

Meanwhile, Jane Snorek, analyst at First American Funds describes, Achieved Apple's performance this quarter is the biggest achievement and a good sign for Apple's sales in the coming months. "This makes me think Apple will celebrate Christmas Day remarkable," said Jane.
