Turning a good idea into a successful innovation requires the glass to be full. A half full glass simply isn’t enough. There are many things involved in bringing a product to market successfully or turning an idea into reality and each one of them needs to be right, or at least close enough. The innovator starts the process with a set of resources and draws upon them until the idea, product or invention “sells”. This innovation process is like starting with a full glass that has holes in the bottom of it. The challenge is to find ways to plug the leaks before the glass drains completely and then make the glass overflow. Here are 5 ways to profit from good ideas.

Assume your idea is terrible. Assuming an idea is terrible can be quite liberating. This is not the same as not believing in what you are doing and it is not about being negative. On the contrary, it is about changing the frame of reference to give due consideration to the real operating conditions. Consider the advantage of having accurate maps and a compass to navigate from one place to another rather than a ball of string and a vague idea. Having an accurate understanding of the conditions has its advantages. It prevents people and companies from squandering resources on dead ends or irrelevant excursions. Anyone moving forward who is positive, highly motivated and well equipped with accurate, relevant information and sound plans becomes virtually unstoppable. Eliminating the tendency to rely on untested assumptions can be done by simply assuming a product or idea is a terrible one and then taking steps toward making it better.
Know your customer, industry and business well enough to publish a book. Writing is a process that distills thought. Corporate innovators are often asked to prepare detailed plans. Companies employ a variety of planning tools and they can be tremendous aids in working through the necessary thought processes. Everyone seeking funding who has approached professional finance people to get a project financed is aware that he or she is expected to come with a written business plan. The thought process that goes into the writing is more important than the document itself.
Steal from others and let others steal from you. Copy, copy, copy. Originality is overrated. The advantages of duplication over originality are numerous. Something that has already become tried and true is just that: tried and true. That decreases the risk and uncertainty considerably. Duplicating something is less costly than producing an original. Something that has been in use has likely had a lot of the bugs knocked out of it and has already become perceived as useful and acceptable. Create a powerful network of outside advisors. The importance and value of having a powerful network of outside advisors cannot be overstated. Famous inventor Thomas Edison surrounded himself with the most powerful people in the world. He needed a great deal of help to develop his grand visions so he went to whatever lengths were needed to get that help. As an example of an Edison gathering, he had United States President Herbert Hoover, Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone at his 82nd birthday party in Fort Myers, Florida on February 11, 1929. Successful people are usually more than happy to share constructive insights and where appropriate will exercise candor if something seems off.
Involve and embrace passionate customers in the development and marketing processes. For most types of innovations, there are ways to actively engage end embrace passionate leading customers in the development and marketing processes. This can happen at an early stage or long after a product or service has matured. Bringing customers in close can be a tremendous aid to the innovation process. Innovators would be remiss if they did not consider this approach.

The above 5 ways are intended for those who are interested in achieving commercial success and maximizing profits from their ideas. There are many settings where making money is not a primary or relevant concern where these ways can still become quite useful. University researchers striving to gain a deeper understanding of our universe and natural laws are among those can benefit. Hobbyists and part-time practitioners can likewise apply them to their particular circumstances as they work toward meeting their project goals. It is not an all or nothing proposition. The key is to use them wherever they make sense to incrementally increase the success rates for turning ideas and inventions into successful innovations, however success is defined.

The On-Screen Keyboard utility has been specially devloped to let impaired- physically disabled users type some amount of text, using "On-Screen Keyboard Utility. It actually works by sending the typed keystrokes to the most active application. I also tried this even with a number of other commercial keyloggers that I use in antispyware testing, and it was no help at all: The simulated keystrokes were captured just as actual keystrokes would be.

You could conceivably launch the Character Map utility and build your password by double-clicking characters. Once you had built the whole password, you'd click the Copy button and paste it into the password-entry box. Unfortunately, keyloggers can do a lot more than merely log keystrokes. Most also record everything that gets copied to the clipboard, and many also snap screenshots of program activity. Character Map, then, is not a solution.

The one possibility that seems hopeful is this: Type your password with extra characters in it and then use the mouse to highlight and delete the extra characters. For example, you might type passFROGword and then highlight and delete the middle four dots. Or type p1a2s3s4w5o6r7d8 and delete every other dot. A keylogger would still record all of the keystrokes that make up your password, but they'll be mixed with other unrelated keystrokes.

If you need to use a public PC, your best option for entering passwords is to use a mobile password management/form filling application such as Siber Systems' Pass2Go ($39.95, www.roboform.com). Pass2Go runs off a USB memory key and protects your passwords behind a master password. Even if the master password is compromised, it's useless to the thief unless he has your USB key, too. It's not a foolproof solution, but it will evade hacking tools that rely on capturing keyboard events.

But really, you should do your best to avoid using nonsecure computers. Even if you keep a keylogger from snagging your password, it might still take screenshots of key financial info. Your best bet is to implement a high degree of security on your laptop and resign yourself to lugging the darn thing along.

Welcome to a nifty Web site filled with interactive simulations you can play and learn with! In order to use them, you need to have a Shockwave player. If you don’t have one, don’t worry! There is a button right on the site that will take you to the link you need to download it for free. You’ll find it on the right side of the page near the top. It reads "Get Macromedia Shockwave Player."

There are ten activities to choose from, all with a different subject to teach you about. The activities are: Design and Test, Topographic Maps, Pheromone Trails, Eclipses, Seismic Waves, Ocean Waves, Solar System, Plant & Animal Cells, 4-Stroke Engine and Biomes.

I was the most curious about the 4-Stroke Engine, so I headed there first. When it loaded, I was faced with a working engine, as well as, a lot of other options. On the left side of the page, I found the menu for interacting with the simulation. I could choose between views of the engine, how many parts were working at one time, whether I saw the parts labeled and how fast the engine was accelerating.

At the top of the simulation I found, there was information for me to read about what I was seeing. I could also make the font larger or smaller with the A buttons above the text, as well as, scroll up and down with the scroll bar beside the text.

Underneath the view of the engine was another slider bar that let me control the start and stop of the Continued...

When you are working on your local computer and want to refresh any changes in your system automatically. For example some times you are watching sports results, online Stock Exchange rates and any changes to your hard drive but these changes are not usually refreshed until you press the F5 key on your keyboard.

To refresh your screen automatically you should edit your system Registry. But the best technique to edit the windows registry keys, always export or backup the whole windows registry keys on backup drive before editing. Because any mistake in Registry can cause serious problem in your computer to run properly.

Follow the given steps to change the updates automatically.

· First click on Start button then type Regedit in Run option.

· In Registry Editor panel go to the path:

Lock Your Folders !

You can lock and unlock your folder with this simple trick !

Procedure :
1. Make a folder on the desktop and name it as "folder"
2. Now, open notepad and write ren folder folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
3. In the 'save as' name it as lock.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
4. Now, again open notepad again and write ren folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} folder and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.
5. In the 'save as' name it as key.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)
6. Now, double click lock.bat to lock the folder and now if you open your folder, control panel will open up !
7. Now, double click key.bat to open the folder and now if you open your folder, you can access your data inside the folder again !
8. Lock your folder and hide the key.bat somewhere else on your hard disk !
9. Whenever you want to open your folder just paste the key.bat on desktop and open your folder using it !

Many times in schools, colleges & offices surfing some sites like orkut,etc are banned !

To overcome this you can unblock these or block some other websites and play pranks !

Do The Following :

For eg you want to block www.xyz.com !

* Open the folder C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

* There you will find a file named HOSTS

* Click on the file and press SHIFT and now right click on it .

* From the right click m enu select Open with .

* Now, select Notepad to open the file from the list !

* Now, in the file under the line 127.0.0.1 localhost add another line as 127.0.0.2 www.xyz.com.

* Now, File>>Save !

Now, open your web browser and try openning www.xyz.com , it will not load !

To unblock sites just do the opposite !
