Totally bummed about this one. While I'd like to think there was still hope, methinks the writing is on the wall and this is the beginning of the end. Just as the newest season of The Bachelor is set to premiere, comes news that Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst have called off their engagement.

"We are very much in love and committed to our relationship," the couple say in a statement to People magazine. "With the possibility of reassignment to a new location, we decided it was not the ideal time for Tessa to uproot herself and move out [to Hawaii] right now. Our relationship continues to deepen, and we're very hopeful about our future together." Andy went on to say, "I know that I have a year left and I may have the option of a three-year tour. There is also the option of a position in California. There is also a chance of me going back to finish my residency training. I am a firm believer that everything happened for a reason, and I am a firm believer that this happened in my life for a reason. Tessa came onto the show for a reason, and it is like a dream come true."

Although troubled pop star Britney Spears graces the cover of the September issue of Allure magazine, don't go looking for an interview inside the mag, because won't find it. Although she appeared for the cover shoot and was on time and very cooperative, she missed no less than four appointments for the interview that was supposed to run in the issue. The magazine instead ran a first-person essay from the interviewer on her chase to pin down Britney for a chat-fest.

House Stars Back on the Market

In a surprising turn, the stars of House Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer have announced that they have called off their engagement.

"After much consideration, we have decided not to get married," the couple said in a joint statement to People magazine. "We are still very close, and we look forward to continuing to work together on House."

Jesse proposed to Jennifer during a trip to Paris over the holidays, and they had planned to get married later this year.

I guess if there has to be a silver lining, at least they figured it out before they walked down the aisle, but 'tis still a shame.

In January 2006, photos revealed a Lohan family friend toting a plastic bag containing a visible pregnancy test into a Miami hospital where Lindsay was being treated (though the Lohans denied that the kit was specifically for her). Lindsay’s friends have promised to rally around her as she struggles through this difficult period.

Finally, at long last, ABC is letting go of some information on the new season of The Bachelor. Brad Womack was born in Atlanta, but grew up in Texas and is 34 years old. is ABC's newest Bachelor, the network has announced. Living in Austin, he owns four bars with his two brothers and is a twin. You won't have to wait much longer to get to know him. The eleventh season of the show is set to premiere with a 90-minute special on Monday, September 24th at 9:30 pm. Given ABC is already calling him the show's "McSteamy," it sounds like we're in for a treat.

Even though she's currently out of the public eye (and that's definitely a good thing) to recover from her latest run-in with alcohol and the law, actress and party girl Lindsay Lohan landed on the September cover of Elle magazine, looking gorgeous.

The magazine hits newsstands today, but is marred by a recent report from the New York Post that she took designer clothes from the set and has been ignoring calls asking her to return the wares.

Highlights of the interview are below.

On attending rehab at Wonderland before her 21st birthday: “I was growing up and going out a lot, and I needed to have a balance. I was glad I went, because I needed to get away from everyone and I didn’t know how to do that. And I learned a lot there. A bunch of my friends – I was with them last night – they’re in AA for, like, years.”

On former fling Calum Best: “I like him. He’s me in male form. We’re very similar. Stubborn, rebellious, very smart, coy, a little bit narcissistic – I think all actors have a little bit of that, and so they should. We’ll be kidding around, like the other day when we were in the Bahamas … I was walking by some mirror. And he caught me looking in the mirror and he goes, ‘I caught that!’ I was like, ‘Damn, I look good!’

On the media firestorm surrounding her: “I feel like the asshole, the idiot, because I feel like I’m distracting from the other things that are important, like global warming and that kind of stuff. I genuinely mean that. And I don’t know what to do.”

On avoiding fame: “I hate it, like, when these people say, ‘Well, why do you go to the Ivy if you don’t want …’ Seriously, I like their food! I can’t go to a restaurant? I know I’m going to get pictures taken. I’m fine with it. And I’m going to go have their food. People give you shit for it: ‘Don’t go on Robertson!’ What, I can’t drive down the street?”

On being photographed without underwear:“It was once, and it was when I was in Venice. And I was rushing through the room, threw the Prada dress on. And that’s what happened. And I didn’t even see the picture. I don’t look at that shit – that’s gross. If I wear a dress I have underwear on.”

On sleep troubles:“I have really bad insomnia. My whole life. I get nervous at night going to bed, and being awake alone really freaks me out.”

On her career aspirations: “I just want to be nominated for an award for all the work I’ve done. It’s so funny – people forget that I played two characters in Parent Trap when I was twelve years old.”

On the media: “If I’m wearing a nude thong, they retouch it. I f—k around on my computer – I know how easy it is. They make my face look swollen. I’m like, ‘Are you that bored?’ I hear things about the night before that never even happened. Like, they said I was dating my best friend – the Samantha Ronson thing. She’s my best friend!"

Kevin is enraged that Britney brought their children to Las Vegas without his written permission to take them out of state, which is required by California law during custody battles. And Britney’s cousin Alli Sims has joined forces with Kevin and is providing key information and personal accounts he can use against his ex-wife. A source close to Kevin tells OK!, “He’s prepared to fight this bitch for the next 18 years.”

Kameron Bink Leaves So You Think You Can Dance

Last week, in addition to Jaimie, we said goodbye to Kameron Bink, Lacey Schwimmer's partner. Read on as he tells TV Guide about his time on the show, his chemistry with Lacey and who he thinks should make it to the end.

TVGuide.com: Do you think that you deserved to go home?
Kameron Bink: Honestly, everybody's worked so hard, nobody deserves to go home. But by this point, we're all in the top 10 and we're all going on tour. I'm just happy to have come this far. It's an amazing feeling of accomplishment.

TVGuide.com: How does it feel to be the first male kicked off by the viewers instead of the judges?
Kameron: I felt it coming, and I know that I had much support throughout the show, so I'm not disappointed at all.

TVGuide.com: You'd never been in the bottom group before. So how did you know it was coming?
Kameron: Just from watching the show. The judges' comments started to slowly but surely underplay my part in everything that I was doing, and I felt that eventually America was going to catch that, too.

TVGuide.com: Why do you think you weren't shown much in the earlier episodes before you got to the top 20?
Kameron: There are a lot of things that go into the production as far as stories and things like that, and there wasn't a whole lot of depth in my story. Once we all got in the top 20, our personalities were really shown and we all got the chance to shine on the stage on a national level, which is more than a lot of dancers get to say.

TVGuide.com: What did you think about having to do the compulsory Wade Robson solo?
Kameron: At first I wasn't sure how that would go with the audience, because Nigel said, even after the fourth or fifth time, he was kind of bored with it. And I can't say how that played with my being No. 8.

TVGuide.com: Which solo did you think was the best?
Kameron: I really enjoyed Sabra's performance. To be as small as she is and dance as large as she does, she really deserves all the credit she got. Lauren's performance was amazing as well.

TVGuide.com: Fans talk about your chemistry with Lacey. How much of that was real versus playing it up for the camera?
Kameron: After we found out that we were partners, that night we spent the whole night getting to know each other, and the next day [choreographer] Mia Michaels just had us hug each other for probably five to seven minutes. The chemistry that we had was real; as far as anything we had in a relationship sense, that was fabricated by the show.

TVGuide.com: What was your favorite memory of the show?
Kameron: Just when everybody was back at the apartment and hanging out, especially the top 10. A lot of people thought that towards the end it would get really competitive, and that's not the feel of it at all. We all became like a family. If, for example, somebody would get a Latin ballroom dance, Lacey would go in and help out. From what I've heard, there was nothing like that the last two seasons.

TVGuide.com: Did you have a favorite choreographer?
Kameron: I would definitely have to say Tyce Diorio. Working with him were my easiest rehearsals because I think he understood me as a dancer.

TVGuide.com: Which style or choreographer was most difficult for you?
Kameron: That would definitely be Maria Torres in the hustle. I definitely got a lot of "no's" during those rehearsals.

TVGuide.com: In last week's show, you did a solo that was hip-hop. Is that your specialty?
Kameron: The original plan was that nobody was going to do their solos because nobody was dancing for their lives anymore, but we found out an hour before the show that we were doing solos after all. So I really wasn't prepared as well as I should have been to do my solo. My specialty is more of a contemporary hip-hop.

TVGuide.com: So what are your plans once the tour wraps up?
Kameron: After the tour I'm going to move to L.A. and try to do as much as I can. Before the show I really wasn't working and dancing as much as I would have liked, but talking to all those choreographers made me open my eyes and realize that this is where I should be.

TVGuide.com: Who do you think will win?
Kameron: Honestly, I think it's anybody's game at this point. Everybody has something different to bring to the table and they're all really great. I do think that the girls are a lot stronger — they're definitely bringing it this year.

TVGuide.com: Who do you wish would win?
Kameron: I think Dominic and Sabra have come so far, and I would love to see them in the final four.
