An easy simple strategic guide on how to begin your art online marketing.

Starting your own art business or just want to be known as an artist on the internet will require time, focus, motivation, patience, sincerity, love and devotion. Here are some helpful first steps which will guide you on your way as an artist online.

Prepare and Organize. Prepare jpeg photo shots of your art works by either using a digital camera or with the aid of a professional photographer and also a photo of yourself. Write down and save an MS Word Document format of your own artist's CV or biography. Read some articles online on what is in and out on the online art market today via the internet.

Create your own website for free. If you are on a tight budget create your own free website like in Blogger, Tumblr, Wordpress, etc. which is easy to do, create, and design. Ask help from a web designer for assistance or guidance on this.

YouTube. Create a demo, tips, guides about art on your personal video camcorder then edit and post to you YouTube, your website, and other social media.

Befriend. Join, interact, and socialize with fellow artists such as this group Global Artist Circle, in Facebook, Twitter, or free art galleries and websites. Be inspired and learn from other artists motivations, suggestions and insights.

Time. A very essential key to success online as an emerging artist. You need to give valuable time on yourself, on your art creation, and on your art online activities.

A simple mixture to spice up your artistic endeavors.

Art is evolving, changing as time goes by but through the test of time there are certain things that an artist possess which leads him/her to fame and success.

Creativity. A never ending rendezvous of creative thoughts and ideas is the utmost essential thing an artist must have. Always keep a pencil and paper come in handy to be used when suddenly a great idea pops into your mind.

Optimism. Accepting the fact that people do like or dislike your art through their own criticisms and point of views of which do affect your emotions. It does makes one's well being good through positive criticisms on the other hand there are negative criticisms. Try being optimistic and be positive on negative criticisms that will come along the way in your artistic endeavors. Being optimistic in times like this also do work. Think of which and accept these kind of criticisms as a room for improvement, challenge, and mastery of your craft in the pursuit of finding your own true identify in the arts of self-expression.

Love and Passion. Love comes with passion, if art is what you really want to do and love to do then let it be follow what your heart's desire and the window of joy, happiness, and fulfillment in life will be with you forever in spite of obstacles.

Dream (E)scape 1: Arriving the past

Visiting the Spring City had always given him a feeling of something imaginary. Something of lightness like white smoke from cinnabar coloured chimneys, where the past is being cremated.

Today again, he found himself caught in the labyrinth of his own strayed brainwaves, unable to escape the city that didn’t exist and never will. Now in his thirties, he understood what’s called the past.

The taxi came to a halt in front of his parents’ apartment block. The old people had been living here ever since the beginning of time. They were the cosmological constant, the beacon of light to guide him back home over and again.

The past.

A vibrating atomic unit of light, white rings of smoke. Zeros from a mysterious formula that has nothing and yet everything to do with the reality.

City and zeros – he loved them, and he hated them. He loved their familiarity and hate them for changing so rapidly, as if their fleeting beauty is what makes them last. Spring City is no longer his; the glad rags of smoke are never meant to belong to a place. But if everything can be explained with science – he knew that you should never trust colours and words by an artist, they are out there to confuse you! – then why? Why the zeros of the past hurt so much?

Because they have to, said the soft hand, moving up and down his face caressing him. The hand that eased his pain and made fun of him. He knew it’s not his mother’s hand. And in the rhythmic, ironic strokes, he felt the train from long ago. The steely, haunting beats of wheels touched the tracks of his brainwaves. Shhhhhhh, it’s so quiet:

Why YouTube Needed A Visual Arts Category?

A member of the Global Artist Circle group in Facebook posted this campaign which came into our attention. Based on our experience, when we posted our group's video
on YouTube which is posted on this video page we needed to get an optional category which is Entertainment to our dismay we have no choice but to choose this category. A very BIG QUESTION and needed a statement to hear YouTube's side on this. Why is it that YouTube have NO VISUAL ARTS category?

By clicking the below thread below you will be reading a lots of responses from different artists around the globe "crying out" stating their own words by posting their own response to this post.

WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF HAVING A VISUAL ARTS CATEGORY with subcategories?

I, Pa Ul, as an artist states only one word EASE. It is because YouTube is the internet's so called "Bible" the holy grail of everything in which every people in the world would like to be heard about their own insights, to visually look at, etc. So as to say us artists if given us the chance to have this Visual Arts category people would have EASE OF ACCESS TO WHERE TO LOCATE our passion and insights in the arts. It is VERY CONFUSING AS OF NOW when you really meticulously view YouTube channel on where to find every artists posts based on category.

An old art movement with a new twist.

The year 2011 marked the beginning and creation of Global Artist Circle of which its history can be read here at Global Artist Circle History. This group is a masterpiece of art constantly evolving and changing through time on the web. Highlights of 2011 which made a mark a difference on this group are enlisted.

An Accident. Clashing through a certain period in time while socializing in Facebook Pa Ul fell into an accident by clicking his laptop's mouse of which eventually lead into the formation of this group.

Sociable Facebook. Facebook became the web's top social site to interact, make friends, etc. Through Facebook Groups, this group embraced its true global identity of which comprises various artists around the world.

Blogs. In pursuit to reach out and unify other artists outside this social network on the web, Artekoto and My Art and Profile which are free blogger sites were created. Now on this date December 2011, http://globalartistcircle.blogspot.com was created which is said to be a website that will unify all the artists worldwide.

First(s). Other than the creator of this group and blogs, the first featured artist of the group is Patrick Vandenberghe an abstract artist from Belgium. First popular art voted by likes and comments in Facebook other than Pa Ul and Patrick was Shoes and Plastic by Massimo Bernardi. First woman artist is Helen Speelman from Israel. First best article post is The Art of Noises(or my curious alphabet for colors) by artist/writer Julie O'Yang of The Netherlands.

Women in the Arts. Featuring artists like Pa Ul and Patrick lead to women in the arts also to be featured at these two blogger sites such as Elenita Dumlao (Philippines), Julie O'Yang (China/The Netherlands), Helen Speelman (Israel), Cristina Calhoon (USA/Italy), and more.

Barriers and Obstacles. Since only a person manages to the group's blogger sites, FB group, and soon to be website a lots of circumstances mostly are related to time management and language barriers.

The beginning that was which was full of hope, expectations, and creativity. As we embrace this new year 2012, this creativity that was given to us as gifts will hopefully continues to linger in order to inspire people on the web worldwide.

A sample list to embrace the new year.

Change is constant and inevitable, a few days from now will be welcoming a wonderful creative year of 2012. What important is now, what we do now will affect our future and so a creative person like us must adjust through the changes as time goes by and commit to certain resolutions that are essential and will help guide our creativity in time.

I will start a healthy eating habit and exercise regularly. I will eat nutritious food that will help boost my creativity such as fruits, vegetables, fish, legumes, etc. I will spare at least 30 minutes a day to exercise to keep my body in good shape. Also I will keep away from smoking and drinking that may affect my well being.
I will keep a pencil and sketchpad or paper in handy always in order for me to create a thumbnail input of ideas from time to time that pops into my mind.
Since I am a creator, I will help create masterpiece of art that will promote love, peace, and humanity.
If a friend would like to purchase my art work, I would gently imply to buy it to help sustain creative materials that I use in my art.
I will continue on searching my own artistic identify so that people will recognize me and my art.
I will engage a time to create an art at least 30 minutes day.
I will continue to socialize, share, inspire and mingle with other creative artists on this group's website and social network site.

A humble beginning.

It was an accident! Young Pa Ul, a visual artist from the Philippines began to explore Facebook a social network site on the internet. According to Pa Ul, he accidentally clicked the mouse trying to mingle with various artists around the globe to communicate, share insights and talents.
