New Site is Live and the blog is moving!

noreply@blogger.com (Ewelina Zajac Holdrege) — Sun, 08 Jan 2012 17:06:00 +0000

My Freelance Design Studio - Holdrege Design (Formerly known as Global Id Design) has launched a new website and it couldn’t be a greater start to the New Year. Modern, simple design lets the new content shine. Lot’s of information about what we do and who we are, new projects, larger images and improved navigation make it a great online presence.
For the longest time I had been planning to combine the the two and now that it’s actually happening, I’m very excited. I will be using this space to share my inspiration, sketches and new work.
Official launch is planned for this week but for all my dear readers, here is a exclusive sneak peak!

Stay in touch, follow my new blog and make sure you sign up for my newsletter!
Happy New Year to you all!

Nowa strona mojego studia- Holdrege Design jest juz w sieci co jest wspanialym rozpoczeciem nowego roku. Minimalistyczny i funkcjonalny design pozwala na pokazanie projektow w calej ich okazalosci. Duzo nowych informacji, wieksze fotografie i szybsza nawigacja. Zapraszam.

Juz od dluzszego czasu planowalam polaczyc strone i blog wiec nareszcie jest to mozliwe. Zapraszam tutaj.

Wspanialego, Kreatywnego Roku 2012!

noreply@blogger.com (Ewelina Zajac Holdrege) — Sat, 04 Jun 2011 01:36:00 +0000

Designer Jessi Arrington packed nothing for TED but 7 pairs of undies, buying the rest of her clothes in thrift stores around LA. It’s a meditation on conscious consumption — wrapped in a rainbow of color and creativity.
Love it!

Starbucks rebranded packaging

noreply@blogger.com (Ewelina Zajac Holdrege) — Fri, 11 Mar 2011 13:58:00 +0000

Just came across pictures of the new logo and packaging for Starbucks, designed by their internal design team. I like the simplicity of the sleeves and bags but the cup design is a little bit disappointing for me. Too sterile.

Fonts in Use

noreply@blogger.com (Ewelina Zajac Holdrege) — Wed, 02 Mar 2011 03:31:00 +0000

Interesting website Fonts In Use .
15 of the 20 most common shopping brands use Helvetica in their main identity or current advertising campaigns. I love this typeface but can American shoppers handle something different?

Interesujaca strona, Fonts In Use pokazujaca popularne kroje pisma
15 z 20 najpopularniejszych marek odziezowych w Stanach uzywa w swoich wizerunku i kampaniach reklamowych - czcionki helvetica. Ja nie mam niz przeciwko temu krojowi, wrecz przeciwnie ale czy konsumenci sa w stanie zaakceptowac cos innego?
