Aaron Henry joined this industry a little over 4 years ago. He has also been in the military for the last 11 years he has learned the value of hard work & team work through these years. Over the years of being around this industry I have seen many individuals struggle with the giant elephant in the room: Information Overload.  I have personally experienced this first hand. When I first go started I was like a sponge. I wanted to soak up every bit of information I could get my hands or eyes on. A simple Google search on how to be successful as a Home Based Entrepreneur will yield over 38 Million, yes, over 38 Million results.  If that doesn’t leave your mind spinning I don’t know what will!

Getting caught up in trying to read everything on the subject will leave little to no time for actually expanding your network marketing business. This is even more so important if you are working your Global Wealth Factor business on a part-time basis.  The number one reason I feel so many people fail in network marketing, or simply decided to give up on their dreams of success, is Information Overload.

In our digital world of instant information it only takes a few mouse clicks to get easily sidetracked. You start off innocently enough – looking for information on how to be successful in your business, and before you know it you have been “learning” the next great thing for 3 hours, filled up your inbox with all kinds of newsletters, and still have not yet generated one lead.

Remember those goals and dreams you outlined when you first got started? With all of the Information Overload its easy to forget.  I have put together my top five strategies to take on this infectious problem faced by all home based entrepreneurs, and keep me focused on my goals and dreams.

1. Plan your education as a separate part of your day or week. By simply blocking out a time where you focus on learning how to do something new, or brushing up on something you already learned, you will not only find yourself with more time for business building, but you will also actually have time to take action on what it is that you just learned how to do.
2. Setup a separate email address for any newsletter you subscribe to. Why you ask? Well this two-fold. First, you will not be bombarded with all of those headlines “XYZ Social Media Site is the best thing to boost your results” or “ACT Now for a limited time to receive my ebook”. Secondly you will be able to more easily see the important emails as there will be fewer emails in your inbox.
3. While attending training session or webinars go in with the attitude of what one piece can I take away from this and act on it. Don’t get caught up in the moment and expect that you have to implement everything that was shown or taught.
4. Commit with authority to learning and adopting just one marketing strategy at a time until you have completely mastered it! Don’t start on Monday learning about article marketing and by Wednesday be on to trying to figure out Facebook pay-per-click. The hazelnut spread Nutella makes one product and they are dang good at it. They have dominated the hazelnut spread market by focusing 100% of their efforts on doing so (when was the last time you heard of a hazelnut spread other than Nutella?). Focus is the key!
5. Finally, seek out the support of others. Create your own personal “mastermind group” of individuals whose teachings have resonated with you, and those people who can help you in the specific areas of your business where you need the most help right now. Allow only the emails from this group to find their way into your primary inbox, and even then be conscientious of the information you receive and make sure you review your mastermind list on a regular basis.
