Always a joy to have sushi at Itacho Sushi. This time having Baby Sardine, Roasted Salmon, and Roasted Scallop...yea...you didn't read wrongly...is Baby Sardine, lol. It is definitely referring to the anchovies! I came across this word 'baby sardine' in Indonesia too. RIP English. lol.

Lim Chee Guan Bak Kwa

Lim Chee Guan's Bak Kwa certainly live up to its popularity! Certainly the best bak kwa I've tried!

The bak kwa was of a certain right thickness that's enjoyable, and easy to chew. It wasn't too sweet either. And theirs were wrapped with paper and sealed ziplock, hence the freshness and convenience to keep it longer.

Chicken Rice @ Shenton House

Food at Shenton house is quite a gem, they offer affordable good food, and here is one of them.

These lunch cost us only $5 each - half a roasted chicken, 2 braised eggs, steam vegetables, 4 plates of rice.

This got to be my favourite chicken rice stall.

They offer fragrance warm rice, and their chickens are always tender and smooth!

This is located at level 2, Shenton House, just turn right from the escalator platform, and there is the only chicken rice stall.

First time to Hai Di Lao, and definitely worth its popularity for its quality of food and service!

Always heard of the long queue that they have, and lucky for me that there was no queue at all on a Christmas' Eve 4.30pm!

My favourite item is the fried tofu skin!

It absorb the flavour of the soup well, best goes with mushroom soup! But if you like tomato-based, this definitely the bomb, it was too sweet for me though.

Try ordering the lao mian if you like to see live performance from the staff pulling the noodles in front of your table. If not, you can usually enjoy such performance when the staff perform for other tables.

A healthy meal on my bday - homemade gimbap.

The gimbap is made out of omelette, cucumber, carrot and luncheon meat!

Am gonna do one myself next time! :)

Where can you find affordable Zi Char!

Hor Fun: Definitely not the best, but surely the most affordable - $3.50 for a plate of Hor Fun. It ain't bad but a tad lumpy.

Prawn Paste Chicken: The prawn paste chicken comes at $8.00, and surely I won't recommend this...lack prawn paste flavour, and much salty...

Despite its low quality, you will be sure to find queue! I believe the crowd is for the affordable Zi Char!

There's nothing great about this Yong Tau Foo compared to others, except the meatballs!

These fried meatballs is the item that most customers come here for, and is only limited 3 to a customer. It is crispy and soft on the inside, and doesn't have the strong meaty taste for a meatball!

Well, according to Danielfooddiary, they also have another stall in Lucky Plaza! This is a hidden gem, compare is measly popular to Ikea's meatball.

Daily Cut is protein-packed warm salad, rather than the usual lettuce-based salad.

Mine comes with Chicken, whole Wheat Pasta, Button Mushroom, Egg White, Almond, and Sesame-Peanut. Its' salad can be dry as they are stingy with their salad sauce.

A decent healthy lunch for Thunder Tea Rice.

I prefer to add the fried egg to the rice, not the rest of the items - bitter gord is taste raw, and yong tau fu and meat ball smell meaty.

Otherwise, a bow of rice without any item will do fine too.

This is one popular baked cheese tart - BAKE cheese tart. lol.

Soft on the crust with thick creamy cream cheese on inside. Certainly live up to its popularity!

Look at the meat! It was so fresh, tender, and juicy!

It come along with a very good tad of seasoning!

This bur bur cha cha is simply another best!

It was thick with a little different from the typical cha cha we had, as this comes with bananas.

The bananas certainly goes well with the coconut milk!

Brunch @ Hardware Societe @ Hardware Lane.

Eggs Benedict with juicy Portobello Mushrooms! Ignore the timing because we actually had breakfast at 7.50am!

And we continue our to Brighton Beach!

We picked seashell at the seashore.

Not forgetting more fish and chips from Sea Salt, before making our way back to the airport.

Ordered a snack fish and chips instead! This is good enough for 1 person. :)

Goji filled smoothie @ Green Press Juice to start the day!

Central Melbourne Station: People love to have baguette for their breakfast.

Another train design taken on our way for our trip to 'Puffing Billy train'.

Awesome, isn't it?! :)

After taking the ride with Puffing Billy train...we went to have Mork Chocolate!

After that it was back to Central Melbourne Station for our sightseeing of graffiti in Flinders lane.

Back to Flinders street for dinner.

This time, we had Fish and Chips! And it was 'Oh my god' the best Fish and Chips that I've ever ever eaten! So fresh, juicy, tender and sweet!

Tried this awesome shrimp inari too!

Having our breakfast takeaway from Kinfolk cafe, in the train to Frankston Station.

Rented a car for our first road trip in Mornington Peninsular.

We went to Ashcome Maze and Lavender Farm.

The end point of the maze.

Dropped by for our lunch @ T'Gallant, featuring mushroom pizza and with loads of potatoes.

This was a very filling lunch with the amount of potatoes for the 2 of us.

Cape Schanck!

There are rooms surrounding the lighthouse, but it is all deserted.

Breathing the air from South Pole. hahaz!

There is nothing between this point and South Pole.

Heard that there are sellers who sells Cape Schank's air...isn't this a bit ridiculous?

After visiting Cape Schank, we went to find bathing boxes...but it turn out to be so unspectacular...

The Brighton's boxes are definitely better than the ones in Morning Peninsular.

Return the car and back to the busy street of Melbourne City.

The Melbourne Central Station looks very grand!

We wanted to have their famous Fish and Chips at Sea Salt, but we ordered sushi anyway because we were full from our eating during our road trip.

Their sushi were surprising very nice! The shrimp inari sushi and roll tasted fresh and tasty!

End our adventurous day with an organic drink. :)

Been passing this information board, and today is the chance to use it since we will be taking their metro!

Bought a pizza at the refreshment store. Taste good!

First stop.

Entrance of Great Ocean Road!!!

Lunch was included for this tour, but not the drinks. how lame is that?

Nice Risotto, and especially love the garlic bread! It was soft and fluffy!

We stop by at this place - Teddy's Lookout.

The guide mention that usually the big tour group doesn't stop by this area...

Simply love the blue sky!

Another stop, and this time, it was by a hill.

Went on hiking which was unexpected!

We were nearing the highlight of the tour.

Morning trip to Kettle Black!

Stopped at Domain Interchange.

Here we are at Kettle Black. This is just another side of the cafe, but it was actually packed and we had to wait a while for our seats.

Cured Kangaroo meat and Eggs Benedict.

Came across this while on our way to the Shrine of Remembrance and this reminds us of our Singapore's Instagram Tree.

Those are damn cool...vintage cars!

There were stalls lining up, selling arts and crafts at the Esplanade Market, just outside Luna Park.

Well, this stall selling postcards who hostile...asking us not to take photo in an impolite manner...it can be better managed by putting on 'no photograph' signs. So yea...be careful of rude-mannered stall owners here.

Every photos are so beautiful with the clear blue sky!

This is one of the few things I've done for our itinerary - search for food!

Mommy's Boy is awesome! This was Mammy's burger with crispy lean cutlet and Mammy's Fries filled with cheese, mayo and bacon bits!

Came across a community garden nearby...and we joined in anyway...

After the walk in the community garden, we walked about and came across a crowded street.

This cake shop seems really popular among the locals, with a queue and was packed with customers!

In contrast, this cake shop was quieter.

Bought a Chocolate Cookie Crumble icecream because is not found in Singapore!

Had my first Acai Bowl at a random stall.

Woke up early on a Saturday morning to go Queen Victoria Market!

When the street are empty...

Here we go!

This stall has quite a number of customers ordering for the caffeine shots!

Haven't eaten anything for breakfast, and luckily, there is a foodcourt beside the market.

This foodcourt offers Sri Lanka's and Chinese's food, along with local food!

Love this picture! It sums up my breakfast at the foodcourt here! haha!

And back to the marketplace shopping, this time we had Chicken & Mushroom Burek which was part of Val's itinerary.

This is good for a quick snack!

Happened to come across this Doughnuts' stall...

Decided to join in the queue as well...

Best doughnut!!! Warm and fluffy, this doughnut is filled with strawberry jam, and lightly covered with sugars.

After Queen Victor Market, we went to Hardware Lane (located near our home), since it was along the way to Fitzroy Gardens.

The lane is filled with cafes and bursting with customers. A familiar scene, similar to our local's lifestyle.

First stop: White Mojo.

Orange Pancake!

Looks good and tasted ok though...and this dessert is heavy even for 2 persons! I reckon that 4 person share this pancake!

Second stop at Hash Specialty coffee and roasters.

Avoid the peak hours, this cafe was bursting with customers when we arrived. Lucky for us, there were these seats left on the 2nd floor.

We have arrived at Fitzroy Gardens.

Grub Food Van, a cafe made out from Greenhouse.

A different cafe from the ones in the shophouses and along the streets.

Eggs Benedicts

The quality is good, and was that homemade hollandaise sauce? But for a poached egg...it ain't runny enough.

And back to town...

RMIT university...this reminds of SIM Global Education. Lolx.

The items were disappointing. The flavours ain't strong enough even for a person who prefer less flavoured food!

The soup was bland, the fried rice were bland too, even for the xiao long bao.

Tony Chef's popcorn is the best!!!!!!!

I haven't come across any popcorn as good as this! Its popcorn are always fresh and crunchy, thanks much to its quality airtight container too!

The Country Cheddar flavour is the best flavour! More savoury with a tad of sweetness!
