      <description><![CDATA[2006 has been a great year in many different ways. First of all, I mustn't loose sight of the fact that I was still very much a rookie at the start of this years' TVR challenge. In my first year, I only did 6 races and literally only removed the rookie cross at the end of the last race of the Season at Snetterton. In addition, my knowledge and experience of different circuits was limited given that 4 of those 6 races were at Castle Combe. ]]></description>

My aims for the day was to get used to the circuit as quickly as possible, get down to 1 min 17secs by the end of the first session, then down to 1 min 15 secs in session two and try to get into the 1 min 13 secs area during the afternoon.]]></description>

What a place, as you come through the tunnel into the inner pit area the oval circuit comes into full view, surrounded by vast  Grandstands capable of seating over 50,000 spectators.]]></description>
