Peter Bozzo President of Nimbus Water Systems Inc, (NIMBUS) is very pleased to announce that the company has successfully completed the registration of the Bottleless® trademark for both Canada and the United States of America.
On May 25th, 2010 NIMBUS was granted the Bottleless® trademark by the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The Canadian Intellectual Property Office had previously granted NIMBUS a similar registration of the trademark on April 20th, 2009.
Go Bottleless® Inc has entered into a licensing agreement with NIMBUS. NIMBUS believes that this will result in a strengthening and reinforcement of its commitment to encourage consumers to shift away from plastic packaging. Go Bottleless® Inc. will market an array ofBottleless® products and challenge consumers to "Go Bottleless®" by eliminating their use of single-serve, plastic water bottles and to end the wasteful cycle of bottled water delivery.
Single-serve, plastic water bottles produced by the bottled water industry and discarded by consumers are a major contributor to waste and an enormous added expense to our waste management systems. Discarded plastic bottles have become a large problem in the world and continue to contribute to litter and landfill waste. The problem has even spilled into the Earth's oceans and is negatively affecting wildlife.
Consumers will make the change that reduces the environmental impact of single-serve, plastic water bottles. "We believe change will come one bottle and one person at a time" says Peter Bozzo.
Go Bottleless® Inc. will actively promote the use of water filtration versus the use of bottled water. Bottleless® solutions include:residential water filters, office water coolers and single-serve refilling stations. The solutions are plumbed directly into the existing water source therefore there is no delivery, heavy lifting, storage, or plastic waste. One of the solutions, Bottleless® water coolers, offers an unlimited supply of high quality drinking water on demand. The solutions are ideal for government, industry, business and individuals not content with municipal water and looking to incorporate a green technology while at the same time eliminating the expense and waste of bottled water.
The barrier to conversion is the availability and convenience of bottled water. Refillable containers are the solution. Consumers want quality without compromising convenience. Various organizations have had incredible success at getting municipalities and schools to "ban the bottle". In fact, since the City of Toronto passed a comprehensive ban on bottled water in December 2008, more than 75 other municipalities in Canada have put bottled water restrictions in place. "We want people to realize that switching to refillable water containers is as easy as switching to a reusable shopping bag". "Bottleless® solutions will allow consumers to enjoy filtered water in their homes and offices while not compromising quality or convenience" says Peter.
The business model for Go Bottleless® Inc. is predicated on the company offering Bottleless® water coolers for home and offices at a fixed monthly cost. There will be no upfront costs, no term commitment, just a monthly fee.
The focus is to become the dominate player in the field using various marketing methods and to spread the message that consumers have the power to curb the wasteful impact of plastic bottled water.
