For a busy 44-year-old mom juggling full-time work and family, I want products that are safe, affordable, and actually work. So I started playing around with my own recipe. Something that was simple, clean, and actually made me feel better when I was run down, sweating a lot, or just struggling to drink enough water.

Here’s My Go-To Recipe:

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup coconut water
• 1/2 cup favorite real fruit juice (I’m currently loving watermelon juice)
• 1/4 tsp fine grain pink Himalayan salt (sea salt works too!)
• 1/2 of a fresh lemon

How I Make It:

1. Mix it all in a large cup with a frother (You could use a spoon, fork, or shake it up in a mason jar).
2. Add ice and a little extra water to fill the cup.
3. Sip and feel better—fast.

If I want to get fancy, I’ll add a little mint. But honestly? Even the basic version tastes great and does the job. You could even add some honey for added sweetness.

Why This Works So Well

This isn’t just water with a splash of juice. It’s got the right balance of electrolytes and natural carbs to help your body actually absorb the hydration.

Here’s what I’ve noticed since making this regularly:

• I feel less sluggish and foggy
• My headaches are fewer and farther between

Ok, this stuff is amazing. You don’t need any primer, just swipe it on and go. It can apply a little wet so make sure you are not layering this. That is the beauty, you only need one coat! Your eyelashes will be long and separated. I typically stock up when there’s a sale but will willingly pay the full price due to the ingredient list. Mascara is one of those items you have to be careful with when it comes to forever chemicals.

If you are a beginner when it comes to makeup application, trestique is a great choice. How to Cure Dry Lips

1. Dampen your lips by applying water with your finger.
2. Apply hyaluronic acid all over and around your lips.
3. Seal it all in with a hydrating lip mask. Be especially careful of the ingredients you are using as many lip masks can actually create more of a problem.

Lips

I am such a sucker for a good lip gloss. I usually am not one that leans to lipstick however. Well, Clover has made me a believe in lipstick and has the most perfect lip gloss a girl could ask for! Eyes

I am generally not an eye-liner gal. However, I love the All Lined Up Eyeliner in black in order to tight-line my eyelashes at the base. complexion

The Skin is in Serum Foundation is great for light, medium, or full coverage. You can control how much you apply, but my suggestion is to start with a little and build. This formula goes on easily and a little goes a very long way! I have found the best method for application is to apply to the back of your hand and use a damp beauty blender to tap it into your skin. I use color 4 and it seems to be a pretty good match for me. I love that it feels as if you have nothing on your skin. It is very weightless and provides a nice glow! You truly can’t beat the price point on this or any of the other Clover items! $22. How to Use the Palette

Can you use just this palette for a full face of makeup? The answer is yes, especially if you are going for the no makeup makeup look. I actually still turn to this palette for my eyes even when I am going for a more full face of makeup. I love the foundation powders on the eyes! Step 1: Use the #1 side of the Secret Brush to apply your darkest foundation powder all over your lids and crease. I like to add a touch darker on the outer corners. Use the lighter foundation powder from the inner corner until about the middle of the eye. Next pop on the shimmer in the inner corners and below the eyebrow.

Step 2: Use the lightest concealer and apply using either your fingers or the #2 on the Secret Brush below the eyes and on the outer corners focusing on “flicking” up. Press this in with either the #3 on the Secret Brush or with your finger.

Step 3: Apply the darker concealer to the areas of your face you are trying to make look smooth. I typically put a few dots all over and then use the #3 side of the Secret Brush to press it all in.

Step 4: Use the #4 side of the Secret Brush to apply the darker foundation powder every where but the center of your face. Use the lighter foundation powder on the center or T-zone areas.

Step 5: Apply the shimmer so the tops of your cheek bones for a small pop of color and glow!

Overall, this should take you about 5 minutes or less to do. In the end your face looks fresh with that no makeup makeup look!

I was sent the Secret Brush which is fabulous for travel! You literally have everything you need all in one brush. I love this concept. I also have the Arc Brush on my wish list. While it isn’t a necessity, I can see this making eye looks so much quicker and flawless! Use it to make a simple cat eye, line the bottom lashes, and create darker looks in the crease of your eye. Check out all of the other unique brushes they have. They are truly unlike anything I have ever seen and help make makeup application a breeze!
