Any time you call an 0800 number (for a credit card, banking etc) and you find that you're talking to a foreign customer service representative, please consider doing the following:

After you connect and you realize that the customer service representative is not from the UK you can always ask if you are not sure about the accent), please, very politely (this is not about trashing other cultures) say, "I'd like to speak to a customer service representative in the United Kingdom."

The rep might suggest talking to his/her manager, but, again, politely say, "Thank you, but I'd like to speak to a customer service representative in the United Kingdom."

YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A REP IN THE UK.
That's the rule and the LAW.

It takes less than one minute to have your call re-directed to the United Kingdom. Tonight when I got redirected to a UK rep, I asked again to make sure - and yes, she was from NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE.

Imagine what would happen if every United Kingdom citizen insisted on talking to only UK phone reps from this day on.

Imagine how that would ultimately impact the number of UK jobs that would need to be created ASAP...

If I tell 10 people to consider this and you tell 10 people to consider doing this - see what I mean...it becomes an exercise in viral marketing 101.

Remember - the goal here is to restore jobs back here at home - not to be abrupt or rude to a foreign phone rep. You may even get correct answers, good advice, and solutions to your problem - in real English.

If you agree, please tell 10 people you know, and ask them to tell 10 people they know.....etc...Etc

As you are here, I assume you used a search engine to find this helpful article.

The fix is very simple and easy with no fear of losing any emails you may have particularly the important ones you may have providing you are using IMAP as a protocol . If you are using POP then be sure to check that your settings are set to leave messages on the server until deleted from your trash folder.

1) Open up Windows Live Mail

2) Wait for everything to sync with servers etc.

3) Right click on the inbox button of the troubled account and select properties

4) Select the "Local File" tab and then click the "Delete" option (This is only deleting local copies of your emails and will then after download all your messages once again fresh)

WHAT ARE DRIVERS LOOKING FOR?

If there’s one thing that all drivers have in common, it is that they are all looking for cheaper motor insurance. Motor insurance is something that drivers are required by law to purchase and cannot drive on a public road without. It is not something that they necessarily want to buy, and a large number of drivers would not bother with motor insurance if it was not compulsory. However, it does have its benefits. Motor insurance protects victims of accidents by providing necessary funds to compensate them when they are involved in a car accident that is caused by someone else. Motor insurance also protects the person causing the accident as they will not be personally liable for all the costs involved. Added to this is the fact that your own car will be insured so any damage to it, or injury to you or your passengers will be paid for by the motor insurance company.

However, no matter how good an idea motor insurance is, and how necessary it is to protect road users and passengers, it is a simple fact of life that spending money on car insurance is a lot less fun than buying a new car, and all of us have other things that we would rather spend our money on. While motor insurance is necessary, there is a definite consensus among drivers of all ages and groups, that the cheaper the insurance, the better.

HOW DO YOU FIND CHEAPER CAR INSURANCE?

There are a number of ways drivers can find cheaper motor insurance. Some of these are obvious tips for example, shopping around for the best deal, however, there are also a number of special steps and strategies that you can take when shopping for motor insurance that will certainly lead to you getting a better deal and saving real money on your motor insurance. Because motor insurance is a complicated product, there are also a lot of myths out there about how you can find cheaper car insurance and how you can save money on it. This leads many to end up paying more than they need to on motor insurance.

This book will help dispel some of the myths out there about car insurance and aims to give you a better understanding of how car insurance companies really do work and how they price their policies. You can use this advice to avoid making some common mistakes when shopping for your motor insurance.

We will then look at some tips that outline shopping and bargaining strategies that will help you to find the very best motor insurance bargains possible. There is nothing better than beating an insurance company at its own game, and by having a little bit of information and understanding of the process, you will be able to walk out of a negotiations with better and cheaper car insurance.

Hopefully the information in this book will be useful to you and we would like to wish you good luck in finding the best and cheapest car insurance on the market.

MOTOR INSURANCE MYTHS

DON’T GET SUCKED INTO BELIEVING THESE MYTHS

Most of us do not buy motor insurance very often. It just isn’t something that you are used to buying like you are with your groceries or clothes. You rarely look into the motor insurance market and many find the maze of options and deals available out there daunting to say the least. Even if you have a fairly good idea of the motor insurance industry and think you know what you are doing, you can rest assured that the insurance companies selling you the motor insurance will be a lot more familiar with the bargaining process than you are. For these reasons it is important not to make some common mistakes and fall for common traps when shopping for your car insurance.

SOME COMMON MISCONCEPTIONS

Below you will find some of the most common mistakes and myths that people believe about the motor insurance industry. We aim to clarify the position for you.

Myth 1: Protecting your no claims discount means your premium cannot go up.

It is vital that you understand what it is that your ‘no claims’ gives you. It basically gives you a discount off your standard insurance rate. As long as you don’t make a claim this discount will grow. By protecting your ‘no claims’ with an extra premium, you will not lose your discount even when you do make a claim. However, it is still possible for your standard insurance rate to increase. If your ‘no claims’ gives you a 10% discount for example, and your standard rate is £500, you will pay only £450. However, if your standard rate was to increase to say £700, then even with the same 10% discount, you will now be paying more, £630. While it is rare for your standard rate to increase, it does happen depending on the risk assessment of the insurance company, and this means that the amount you pay on motor insurance can go up even if your ‘no claims discount’ is protected.

Myth 2: Speeding fines have no effect on your insurance

You have to remember that anything can affect your motor insurance premium. Your premium is calculated based on risk, the higher your risk of making a claim, the more you will pay for your insurance. While every small incident will not make a difference, they will paint a picture for the insurance company that will eventually lead to a change in your risk level. Speeding tickets will be taken into account in such instances, especially if they lead to your licence being endorsed.

Myth 3: One serious driving conviction and you can’t get insured

Again, you have to look at the entire picture. If you’ve been insured with the same company for many years without making a claim, and suddenly you get a driving conviction, it is very likely that they will be happy to continue insuring you. However, driving convictions do increase the risks associated with you, especially for drugs or alcohol, or for dangerous driving, and you can expect your premium to go up as a result.

Myth 4: It’s better not to report minor accidents as they’ll put up your premium

You should always look at the big picture. If making a claim for £100 means you lose your no claims bonus worth £200, then obviously you don’t want to make a claim. However, it is often the case that you are required to inform the insurance company of all incidents and failing to do so could void your policy. Simply informing the insurance company of a minor accident, and not making any claim, is unlikely to effect your premium.

Myth 5: If my insurance quotes are high I can simply put the insurance in someone else’s name

Most insurers have taken steps to avoid this by requiring you to state on the policy who the main driver of the vehicle will be, how many other vehicles are in the house, and who is likely to be using the vehicle. If you lie on any of these questions you risk voiding the policy. The insurer will look at who is likely to be driving the vehicle and set the premium according to this, rather than simply looking at who’s name the policy is in. At the same time, it sometimes does make sense to become a named driver on someone else’s car, especially your parent’s when you are very young.

USE THE INTERNET

BUYING MOTOR INSURANCE ONLINE CAN SAVE YOU MONEY

People are gradually realising that the internet can save them money on more and more things. Motor insurance is definitely one of those things and shopping online can reveal deals that you wouldn’t find anywhere else.

ONLINE MOTOR INSURANCE WEBSITES

There are now literally hundreds of websites online that specialise in selling motor insurance. While many of these are affiliated with or sponsored by insurance companies, most of them are completely independent. They will give you access to thousands of motor insurance policies and will sort through them for you.
You can fill in all of your personal information and insurance needs into a search for and allow the website to do the rest. It will sift through all of the various options and bring you back all of the motor insurance policies that fit your requirements. Then all you have to do is look through them and find the one that suits you best. Searching for your motor insurance in this way can save you time and money. It would be impossible for most people to take the time necessary to find the deals that some search engines can come up with. With the number of insurance providers out there today, and the number of options that you have available to you, it is becoming more and more necessary to take steps to help you find the very best deals.

Insurance Company’s own websites

As well as these general insurance websites, you can also visit the websites of individual insurance companies to see what they have on offer. This allows you the security of dealing with a company you know and trust, rather than being at the complete mercy of the internet. You can quickly find all the available policies from the company or companies you are interested in and compare their prices. In most cases you will be able to fill in an online application form and get a quote for the policy there and then. This will allow you to save time. You may also be surprised to learn that many insurance companies offer better deals to their customers online as they can make savings by using the web rather than more traditional means of selling insurance such as brokers.

DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR A BETTER DEAL

SOMETIMES IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE

Many customers are reluctant to bargain or negotiate with companies when buying motor insurance. In many ways this is not surprising considering the size of these companies and the fact that bargaining has become increasingly rare in today’s shopping environment. However, unlike in many other industries, insurance is still a highly personal contract with every customer pretty much getting an individual price based on their own circumstances and situation. This means that insurance companies are used to adjusting their prices and most of the people you will be dealing with when you apply for your motor insurance will be fully capable of changing the price of your insurance.

Obviously, an insurance company is not going to end up giving you insurance at a price that it is unhappy with, but in the vast majority of cases, they will be willing to go lower than their opening offer to you. Simply telling them that their price is higher than you were expecting and going over some of your good points such as low claims history and a clean driving record may bring down the price a little. Also, you should not be afraid to tell them if you have received a cheaper quote from somewhere else as they may well be willing to match it or even beat it.

It only makes sense to bargain with the insurance company when it comes to motor insurance and don’t be ashamed to let them know that you are seeking the best price you can find. After all, this is exactly what they expect. They are more than prepared to make deals with customers, provided you can convince them that you are still a valuable customer and represent a low risk to them.

SIGN UP FOR FREE INFORMATION

NEWSLETTERS, EMAILS, THEY’RE NOT ALL JUNK MAIL

These days, pretty much every time you buy a product online, the seller will ask you if you would like to receive future offers and information from the company. Nine times out of ten you will automatically wish to choose no to these offers as there’s nothing worse than having your inbox fill up with junk mail for the rest of your life. However, sometimes these mails and newsletters really do give you a lot of good information on deals and offers.

There are a great many insurance sales websites that offer you such newsletters. Some insurance companies offer you the same service. While you may not be overly interested in the news and information sections of these emails, they often contain discounts and special offers. It only takes a second to sign up for these items and its even faster to scan through them and see what special offers they contain. You will then be among the first to hear of these special offers and be able to sign up for them.

If all this sounds like a lot of work, then think of the time it would take to check with all the various websites to see what special offers they have. If you are interested in getting a special offer on your motor insurance, this is a quick and easy way to do so.

CHECK FIRST WITH COMPANIES YOU ALREADY DEAL WITH

Most of us already have a relationship with certain insurance companies. This can either be from insurance we already have in our name, or because family members have taken out insurance from them. For example, if you have home insurance, health insurance or travel insurance, you will find that most of these insurance companies also offer motor insurance and will be very happy to add you to their list of car insurance customers. They may even offer a discount or other offer for existing customers of one form of insurance to take their other insurance from them. This can be a great way of getting a good deal on your car insurance and will also simplifying your affairs by making all your insurance with one company.

Another way of cashing in on this type of deal is to find out what insurance companies your family members are with. You can then contact these insurance companies and inform them that you are a family member of an existing customer. They may see you as less of a risk because of this and offer you a better deal. Your bank or Credit Card Company may also provide car insurance so check with them also.

THE MORE THEY KNOW, THE LESS THE RISK

It may seem strange but insurance companies are in fact, extremely risk adverse. The less risk they have to take on with a customer, the better the price they will offer you. If you can show them even a seemingly irrelevant factor, such as that you insure your home with them, or your parents insure their car with them, then this will provide one more small measure of certainty that will allow the insurance company to see you as less of a risk.

PAY FOR YOUR MOTOR INSURANCE UP FRONT

Insurance companies almost always offer you the option of spreading your payments over the term of the insurance policy. This might mean for example that if your insurance is for one year, they will happily accept twelve monthly payments at the start of each month. This is because even though you are not paying the entire amount at the beginning of the policy, you will not benefit from any period of insurance without paying for at least that period in advance.

The down side of this of course is that you will pay more. This is because the policy will be drawn up, and the price will be calculated based on an annual insurance policy and even though you pay for each month in advance, you still owe the rest of the period until you pay them. Basically, insurance companies charge you interest on the unpaid portions of the insurance policy while you owe them.

You should try therefore to pay the entire amount of the policy up front at the beginning of the term. This will result in cheaper insurance and thus save you money in the long run.

If this is not possible, then you should check with the insurance company and ask them how much interest you are being charged if you choose to pay for the insurance monthly. If it transpires that you are being charged a very high amount of interest, then you should at least consider alternative sources of financing. One would be to pay for the insurance on a credit card that offers you a lower rate than the insurance company is going to charge you. This means at least you pay less interest on the amount you owe.

FIND OUT THE COMPANY’S NO CLAIMS POLICY

NOT ALL COMPANIES LOOK AT NO CLAIMS BONUSES IN THE SAME WAY
You should look at the terms of the insurance company’s no claims policy before you buy any insurance from them. While all insurance companies these days will offer you a discount on your motor insurance for not making claims, they will not all operate their discount systems in the same way. This can make a big difference to you when you buy your insurance.

Some motor insurance companies will give you a no claims discount after five years. This means that you need to have a claim free record for five years to qualify for their no claims discount. Others however, will give their discount based on four or even three years of claims free driving.

If you have had an accident say four years ago, there are many companies out there that will not give you a no claims discount at all. However, by shopping around, and becoming aware of the no claims policies of the various insurance companies, you can find companies with shorter qualifying periods for which you will easily qualify for a no claims discount. This is a very simple way of making sure you get the substantial discount that is available for drivers that have not made any claims, particularly if you have had an accident three or four years ago.

Another thing you may have to consider is waiting till you qualify for a no claims discount. For example, if you are say four months from meeting the qualifying period for a no claims discount, than it does not make sense to pay for a year’s worth of motor insurance that does not take into account the fact that you will be falling into the qualifying period after four months. To make the most of this situation therefore, you will have two options. The first is simply to wait for more months till you reach the qualifying period and in this way you will benefit fully from the no claims discount. The second option is to simply buy four months worth of insurance, which will take you up to the time that you reach the qualifying period, and then you can buy an annual policy that will give you the full discount. A variation of this would be to tell the insurance company that you will meet the period after four months and see if they will take that into account when they are pricing your policy.

Always be willing to tell the insurance company about any circumstances you feel should reduce their risk and accordingly, the cost of your insurance. It is a sure way to save money.

PARK SAFELY

USE YOUR NEIGHBOURS TO HELP YOU FIND A SAFER PLACE TO PARK YOUR CAR AT NIGHT

Have you ever noticed how motor insurance applications always ask you where the car will be parked at night? It shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that there is a huge difference in safety and risk depending on where your car is parked every night. If you car is parked in your driveway in a safe residential area, or better still, in a garage beneath your bedroom, it is at significantly less risk of being stolen or vandalised than if it was parked on a busy city street near bars and night clubs for instance.
While most insurance claims are a result of road accidents and damage that occurs while the car is being driver by the owner, a significant number of claims arise from cars being damaged while parked, especially at night time. This is usually the result of vandalism and we have all seen the cars parked on the side of the street after a busy weekend night, with the wing mirrors torn off or some other pointless damage having been inflicted on the vehicle. These types of claims end up costing motor insurance companies a lot of money each year.

Another serious risk to vehicles is theft. This can have the potential of resulting in huge claims on insurers as not only must the stolen car be replaced, but stolen cars often end up in accidents or causing damage to other vehicles also. Because most car thefts occur at night time, it becomes all the more relevant to the insurance company to know where your car is parked at night time.

If you can park your car in a safe driveway or a garage, then you will usually expect to see a dramatic reduction in the amount you have to pay for your car insurance. This takes full account of the reduced risk of having your car parked in a safe place every night. If you do not have a garage or a driveway, then you can sometimes still get this discount by perhaps arranging with your neighbour to use their driveway. Some people who do not own cars of their own will be very happy to let you park your car in their driveway. It makes little difference to them and it is saving you money on your car insurance.

Another thing you can think about is renting garage space. Many places have such garages for rent and if this is located somewhere near enough to your home to make it convenient then it is certainly worth considering. You will of course have to calculate the cost of renting the garage for the year to see if it is worth doing. However, many people will see this is a worthwhile investment simply because of the worry it saves them, knowing that their car is safe and will not be damaged while they are asleep. Also, depending on your car, you may be very concerned about it, especially if it is an expensive car, and therefore, parking it somewhere safe is something that you will be anxious to do in any case. In these instances, the fact that it will save you money on your insurance is just a bonus.

I would love to see what people really think of these kind of things that tend to do the rounds in your email.

Have a read, I am fascinated to hear back!

Touch her waist

Talk to her

Share secrets

Give her your jacket

Kiss her slowly

Hug her

Hold her

Laugh with her

Invite her to places

Let her hang out with you and your friends

Smile with her

Take pictures with her

Pull her on to your lap

When she says she loves you more fight back

When her friends say I love her more than you, deny it. fight back and hug her tight so she cant get to her friends. it makes her feel loved

Always hug her and say "I love you" when you see her

Kiss her unexpectedly

Hug her from behind

Tell her she is beautiful sometimes and not just sexy

Tell her how she makes you feel

Kiss her on the lips

Don't ask her to buy you stuff, you buy it for her

Tell her what feels good

Make her feel loved

Buy her little things every now and then

Don't lie to her

Don't cheat on her

Take her anywhere she wants

Text or call her in the morning to wish her a good day

Be there when she needs you and even when she doesn't

Hold her close when she gets cold

If you are alone hold her close and kiss her

Kiss her on the cheek; (it will give her the hint that you want to kiss them).

While in the movie, put your arm around her and then she will automatically put her head on your shoulder, then lean in and tilt her chin up and kiss her lightly.

Don't ever tell her to leave even jokingly or act like you're mad. If shes upset, comfort her

When people diss her, stand up for her.

Look deep into her eyes and tell her you love her.

Lay down under the stars and put her head on your chest so she can listen to the steady beat of your heart, Link your fingers together while you whisper to her as she rests her eyes and listens to you.

When walking next to each other grab her hand.

When you hug her hold her in your arms as long as possible

Call her at night to wish her sweet dreams.

Comfort her when she cries and wipe away her tears.

Take her for long walks at night.

Always Remind her how much you love her.

I am often asked by people how they can promote their website and start getting the traffic all websites and businesses need, there are various methods you can begin to get you kickstarted on developing a popular website.

1) Search Engines Traffic.
Natural (or organic) traffic is type of traffic coming from all major search engines. If any visitor searches for some kind of information and finds your site in results, you get organic traffic! Unfortunately, it can be really hard (depending on your niche) to get website listed in the top of search engines. So one of things you may want to do – submit your URL to all major search engines manually. Usually just visit any search engine (where you want URL to be submitted) and type something like “submit URL” into search box. Engine will surely return a page where you may submit your URL for indexing. If your sites contains sitemap file (like sitemap.html or sitemap.xml), be sure to submit sitemap file as well - it will speed up whole indexing process.

2) Links Exchange.
External links never hurt. The more websites will link to you, the more traffic you will get. It’s that simple! Swapping links is easy enough. All you need to do – find related websites and contact their webmasters asking to exchange text links with you. Ask webmaster to add your link to his site, and do the same for him. However, try exchanging text links with high quality sites only. Having links on junk site (which has low number of visitors) will not help much. It’s better to have one link from big website instead of having 10 links from tiny sites, remember it when looking for links exchange partners. If you want to know what is the easiest way finding links exchange partners, do this - visit www.dmoz.org, select category related to your website, and then simply email webmasters of sites you like. Another way to find link partners is searching on Google.com for your top keywords. For example if you are willing to rank for "blue widgets", go to google.com and do a search for this keyword. You will get a list of top websites now try to contact owners of these websites and request link exchange.

3) Link Directories.
There are thousands of link directories on the Internet. Some of them are free, and others are paid. This time we will focus on free directories only. Having links on directories not only helps increasing search engine rankings, but also help getting more visitors who come from directories to your site directly. The biggest free directory on the Internet is dmoz.org, but it accepts only very high quality websites. If you believe your site is really high quality, try submitting it to dmoz.org. Also you can find other directories easily. Just go to Google (or another favorite search engine) and type “free link directories”, "link directory", "backlinks directory", "links exchange directory" or something similar into search box. You will find hundreds of link directories waiting for your submission!

4) Social Networks.
Social bookmarking networks works in similar way like link directories, but there are some differences too. The main difference from link directories is popularity. Social networks get millions of visits per day, so you may get more traffic too. However, to become successful in social networking, your site must contain high quality content. When you submit your URL to social site, other visitors can rate it. If rating is high, your URL is moved into main page where more people can see it. Adding links to social networking sites also will help getting better rankings in search engines. This work is pretty hard, so you may submit URLs manually or use any automated social bookmarks submitter software – it’s up to you. And here is the list of top 30 social bookmarking sites (where you may submit your URL) - http://www.ebizmba.com/articles/social30

5) Forum Traffic.
There are thousands of webmaster forums around, and most of them have special sections where members can reveal their websites for reviews and criticism. After posting a message about your website, you will get not only a direct backlink, but also professional tips and criticism from other community members. So you will know what needs to be improved. However, be sure to read forum rules before making any post (especially if you are a new member to forum). Different forums have different rules, and if your message will not comply to these rules, your account will be banned and message deleted. It’s better to spend minute reading basic rules, instead of posting message with your URL and getting everything deleted shortly. If you want to find forums where you may submit website for review, use “webmaster forum”, “site showcase”, “show your site forum”, “site reviews forum” and similar terms in search engines – you will surely find hundreds of forums waiting for you.

6) Signatures.
Many message boards, blogs and other websites allow visitors using signatures. If links in signatures are allowed (once again, read forum rules first), add one or more links (most sites allow adding up to 3 links in signatures) in your own signature. Once you will post a message, signature with backlinks to your site will be automatically inserted below message. Nice and easy way to build traffic, isn’t it?
Well, there are many more ways building traffic and attracting more and more visitors every day, but these tips should be really good start point for most new webmasters. Yes, there are even bad and unethical ways of website promotion and money making online, but we will not cover these strategies at the moment. However, we’ll try updating this guide often to reflect the latest changes on the Internet and deliver you the best results possible. Don’t worry if you don’t see the results right after starting – experience will come!

As a lot of web developers may know, when it comes to search engine optimization and Flash they are far from friend's, there is no way that search engine bots can read a Flash file. This leaves any kind of SEO non-existent.

I have to wonder, if somehow search engine bots were actually able to read Flash files, would this tempt you to get straight to learning or using Flash much more on websites than you do currently or do you prefer the physical feeling a hard coded website gives you along with knowing it will display on many more devices such as mobile phones etc?

Sure, it is very true that you can indeed have a website of your own live within minutes but those kind of services are far from professional, client's may not always realise that and the fact they will assume that is how websites are built can be a little annoying to say the least.

From Freewebs to the entire social networking community such as MySpace and Bebo etc, a lot of the popular websites you visit today now let you alter the way your page looks such as layout and colours or in the case of Freewebs you can completely create a site without a single line of code in sight and without paying a penny.

The difference that really matters when it comes to having a site designed professionally is that you get a lot more than just a better looking and better coded website.

Some of the advantages of having a website coded well as opposed to using any kind of visual site builder.

Accessibility - When a site is created, accessibility is often neglected and you are instantly ignoring a certain percentage of your visitors and quite possibly losing yourself potential leads and sales not to mention that it is actually a legal requirement to make sure your website is accessible to all including blind, deaf partially sighted and any other common disabilities.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) - This would be one of your major sources of traffic should you have a well made site, search engines crawl websites with bots than scan the code of your pages to look for keywords and tons of other information to rank you in search result pages, a poorly coded web page just makes the life of those little bots that little bit harder, the term is known as "Code to Content" and you want to keep your code as clean as possible.

Cross Browser Compatibility - Ok, so most of you probably stick to using one browser and any bugs you find you may get fixed and make sure it looks good but only in the browser your using, coding a site so they validate with W3C can help you achieve cross browser compatibility much better than ignoring validation. There are still some minor differences between browsers and how they render your code but for the most part coding well will make sure the majority of possible issues never occur.

Page Load Times - I can't think of anything more tedious than a page that takes a while to fully load, a lot of load time can be reduced simply by creating pages correctly by which I mean validating and and not having useless code dotted around the place. Many visitors to your website may even hit their back button due to slow page load times so it is something to consider.

Those are a few of the most important aspects of having a professionally made website to consider.

So to sum up this article, you can indeed have yourself a website setup after just a few clicks of your mouse but is that going to give you a website that really works for you? How much do you really care about your visitors experience during their time on your website?

Most importantly, how serious do you want your visitors to take you?

So remember, when you pay good money for web design there is a reason behind it and it is not done in the "Drag Drop" environment that is often assumed.

I know that I was interested to know who the best are so I could check out their websites and see how I could possibly earn as much money as these people do. I realized from most of these sites that sites with user generated content usually ranked pretty highly for Google Adsense earners. It seems that these “community” type sites do tend to get a lot of traffic and we all know that traffic = money. So without any more delay here are a list of the top 8 Google Adsense earners as collected from online resources. Please note that this list might be a bit outdated but it has lots of useful information still.

1. Markus Frind - PlentyOfFish.com - $300,000 per month

If you haven’t heard of this guy yet you should check out the website plentyoffish.com. He is the person who created this free online dating website from his appartment all by himself. His website soon become one of the largest dating websites online. I have actually tried out his website myself and can see how it can be interesting and attract a lot of visitors. The graphics and layout of the website is nothing fancy at all but the functionality is all there and its fast to use.

There have been many of doubts that he wasn’t making that much money so he made those people silent by posting a picture of his paycheck on his blog. According to his blog check represented two months worth of Adsense earnings.

2. Kevin Rose - Digg.com - $250,000 per month

Kevin Rose started Digg.com in December 2004. It is a social marketing site that is mostly news, video, and pictures that are submitted by users for other users to read about and view. Basically what happens is you can signup for an account and you can submit a “news story” and other people can view it and if they like it they can “Digg it” and this boosts the rating of the post. If it gets enough Diggs it will appear on the Frontpage of the site and will get tons of traffic. Digg has both Google Adsense ads and Federated Media ads. It is estimated that he earns roughly $250k a month from Adsense alone.

3. Jeremy Schoemaker - $140,000 per month

ShoeMoney is considered to be one of the greatest Internet Marketers out there. He is very good with search engines and knows how to setup his sites to get optimal traffic to them. In one of his best months with Google Adsense ShoeMoney earned $132,994.97. You can imagine it was probably pretty difficult for him to cash a check of that size!

Unlike most of the other Google advertisers ShoeMoney makes his money from hundreds of sites and thousands of domains.

4. Jason Calacanis - Weblogs, Inc. - $120,000 per month

Jason Calacanis is the creator of Weblogs. Weblogs is a network of blogs and it was apparently making roughly $4,000 a day from Google Adsense! He eventually sold the company to AOL for a reported $25 million. He also announced his retirement from blogging earlier this year (July 2008). He is now focusing on his email campaigns instead.

5. David Miles Jr. & Kato Leonard - FreeWebLayouts.net- $100,000 per month

According to a Washington Post article these 20 year old’s claim to be making $100,000 a month from their site FreeWebLayouts.net which offers free Myspace templates. That is pretty impressive for a couple of young guys that are offering free Myspace templates!

6. Tim Carter - AskTheBuilder.com - $30,000 per month

Tim Carter is a licensed master plumber and carpenter with his own radio show. He started his website up in 1995 with his primary focus to cater to an avid following of fellow builders on the site. In April 2004, Carter learned about Adsense for content sites and he put it on his site. With minimal effort and time he optimized his website and his Adsense earnings grew from $1,500 to $7,500.

There was a Google case study done on Tim Carters earnings with Google Adsense. You should definately read it by clicking HERE. Read the results section because it gives a bunch of helpful tips on how he increased his revenue with Google Adsense.

7. Joel Comm - e-book - $24,000 per month

Joel Comm is a get rich quick guru. He wrote an e-book, What Google Never Told You About Making Money with Adsense. With his e-book and his website he earned $23,458.46 between Nov 2005 and Dec 2005. Check out his Google account stats here.

8. Shawn Hogan - DigitalPoint.com - $10,000 per month

Shawn Hogan is the creator of the forum DigitalPoint. This forum is a very usual forum with lots of information about: Search Engines, Marketing, Business, Design & Development, and Products & Tools. In a New York Times article it stated that he was making roughly $10k a month with Google Adsense.

The members of his forum speculate he is now making around double of what he was making in 2005 when this report was published in the New York Times.

So there you have it, the Top 8 Google Adsense earners. This list might be slighty out of date and there could be some new people in this list but this is the list I was able to pull from collecting information on the net. So check out these sites and see if you can strive to earn as much as these people do with your website or blog.

Today, the vBulletin team is proud to declare version 3.7.0 to be our stable, supported release.

vBulletin 3.7.0 is available immediately from the Members' Area to all customers with active vBulletin licenses, and will be offered as the primary choice to those making new purchases.

This release supercedes the 3.6.x branch as our primary product. vBulletin 3.6.x will continue to be maintained for a limited time, as outlined in the end-of-life announcement posted today. We recommend that all customers with active licenses upgrade to vBulletin 3.7.0.

There are many new features and improvements to existing functionality in vBulletin 3.7.0 over vBulletin 3.6.x, most of which have already been described in the release announcements for the various pre-release versions, and in the First Look thread that was posted at the beginning of the beta process, but here is a brief list of just a few of the highlights.

Social bookmarking integration

PHP and MySQL Requirements

vBulletin 3.7.0 requires at least PHP 4.3.3 and MySQL 4.0.16 (These are the same requirements as vBulletin 3.6), but we strongly recommend that all customers run PHP 5.2.5 with APC and MySQL 5.0.51 or later. Major performance benefits can be had by taking the recommended route rather than simply satisfying the required versions.

What is a 'Gold' Version?

When talking about software, the term 'gold' is not related to the color of the application. Rather, it refers to the practise of burning the final version of a software product to a CD-R so that it can be sent to a large scale CD press for large-scale distribution. It is used to indicate that the code is ready for deployment to customers. The official name of this new version is vBulletin 3.7.0.

Installing or Upgrading vBulletin

Anyone who has installed or upgraded any version of vBulletin 3 before will be familiar with the process, but for those who are new to the system, the vBulletin manual has all the details for installing and upgrading.

Template Changes

A large number of templates have been changed when compared with vBulletin 3.6.x. It will be necessary to revert affected customized templates or otherwise carefully integrate the changes into your custom versions or new features and existing functionality will be adversely affected. A complete list of the templates you have customized whose original version has been changed by the 3.7.0 upgrade is available within your Admin Control Panel after the upgrade is complete.

Bug Reports

As with any software, bugs will appear. If you find a problem that you believe to be a bug, please don't post about it on the forums where the development team may never find your message, but instead use the dedicated bug tracker to make a report that can be tracked through to completion.

Before reporting a bug, please ensure you are able to reproduce the problem on a board using a default, uncustomized style with all plugins disabled.

A few days ago, Google launched a new tool called Google Ad Manager to help website publishers manage their direct ads selling more effective.

If you run a content based website or blog, probably your main source of online revenue will depend on selling ads directly to advertisers . Selling ads directly to advertisers does involve management work and sale process and when your ad space were fully sold out, some advertisers may request to reserve an ad space for them if there is an ad space becomes available in future. If you do all the things manually, it will be time consuming and can easily make a mistake. The Google Ad Manager is seem to be created specifically for helping you solve these problems.

It will help manage your direct ads selling more easier and effective; and most importantly provide fast service to your advertisers. The tool is right for you if you want to consistently make money online by selling ads.

Google Ad Manager

And the good news is, Google Ad Manager isn't just restricted to Google Adsense network only. You can choose to use any ad network you like.
