Review for Our Dual Citizenship - "It is obvious that the intended audience is to the Christian community
at large. This book should be read by anyone who profess to believe
that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is a citizen of the United
States.
It is a refreshing read of the forgotten meaning of our
Constitution and the Bill of Rights and its Amendments from the
Christian perspective of the original framers who wrote it. As I
finished reading this book I kept thinking of all the people I know that
I want to read this book. It will remind us of our roots. One of the
biggest problem in this country today, is we have forgotten our roots,
and we need to comeback to the wellspring of our country and drink from
the waters of desire for freedom that our forefathers drank from. The
writer David Roberts is a minister for the Christian Church and did a
splendid job of going back to the roots of our country and drawing a
comparison between the Christians of the past with today. This is an
provocative study every church should teach.
"

It will be just as challenging for Christians to read as it will be for others. Ask yourself a question:

"What would happen if our churches were to take the original intents of the authors of Scripture as seriously as the Tea Party members take the original intents of the Founding Fathers?"

This reveals a clear lack of vision for the majority of those in the black community and a pattern of hitching their wagon to a falling star. Their argument for racism being prevalent is attached to an event or person and any disagreement with the rhetoric that falls from the mouths of these master manipulators is dismissed as ‘racist’ even when the facts become clear.

In 1994, the so-called trial of the century with OJ Simpson being accused of murder turned into an outcry against racism as the typical race-baiters came out in full force proclaiming him innocent of murder. Anyone who took the facts of OJ’s flight in the infamous white Ford bronco, or the facts of his clear hot-headed anger towards his wife, including pictures of her with bruises from several of the previous times he beat her up was considered a racist.

The problem lies in that the black community hitches their wagon, i.e. ties every argument against racism to one incident, one issue or one person. Sadly for them the facts generally betray their ultimate goal. Ask any of them and they would tell you that their goal is to end racism in this country. But these constant issues and persons that Jackson, Sharpton and even President Obama keep hanging the future of the credibility of their anti-racist rants.

When the failure of the prosecution in the OJ Simpson case became evident in the ‘not guilty’ verdict, Los Angeles breathed a sigh of relief. Two years earlier, 53 people were murdered by the black community in riots that destroyed large areas of the city after the acquittal of four police officers in the beating of Rodney King.

As terrible as that beating appeared, the 22 second clip of the beating was replayed over and over to the exclusion of the rest of the video. The rest of the video showed Mr. King reaching for something in his pocket. As the facts came out later, it turns out the King was out on parole for armed robbery. The police would have known who he was and would have tried to prevent him from getting a weapon.

But those facts were ignored. To point them out was considered to be racist. And the anger of the black community against this police ‘racism’ broke out into rioting. Again, the credibility of the black community was tied to someone who was not worthy of the trust they placed in him as being an innocent victim.

When the truth about OJ came out, i.e. he did own a pair of those ‘ugly @$$ shoes, he did have blood on him, and he even had the audacity to write a book explaining how he killed the two and entitled it, “If I Did It”. To this day, neither Jackson nor Sharpton have reversed their position on the OJ case.

In 2006, three members of the Duke University Lacrosse team were accused by Crystal Gail Mangum, a stripper and prostitute by trade and a student at North Carolina Central University, coincidentally Ms. Magnum is black. When the accusation was made public it was the poor black victim versus the rich, white entitled Duke boys. Again Jackson and Sharpton made the issue about the victim’s race. Again it was a white versus black thing. The outcry over the ‘rape’ brought in media outlets from all over the country.

The Duke boys were tried and convicted in the media. The accused boys were suspended from the team, made pariahs at Duke University and were forced to leave the school. The black civil rights leaders were talking justice, law suits against the University and against the boys. Again all of the credibility of the racism argument were hitched to Ms. Mangum. Then the truth came out.

The boys were nowhere near her at the time she said the rape occurred. She and her prostitute stripper cohort were in the parking lot of a Kroger. What DNA was recovered didn’t match any of the Lacrosse players. There was DNA from several males, but none of them were the Duke boys. Her story changed with each telling of it and the charges were later dropped. But those Lacrosse players endured an ordeal that few have. To date, Jackson and Sharpton have nothing to say about the rallies, support and everything they showed for Ms. Mangum. Jackson even offered to pay her tuition to college when she got over the trauma. Again, the credibility of the black community hitched it to an unreliable person and again the credibility is left in a shambles.

It has been the same outcome with the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman case. The facts are evident. Martin was a thief, used pot, and a street drug called Purple Lean made from Robitussin cough syrup and wait for it. . . skittles and watermelon tea drink. The Lean drug makes one paranoid and aggressive. Martin’s posts on Facebook to a friend make it clear he was looking to make this street drug. They weren’t admitted into evidence.

Instead, Jackson and Sharpton paint Trayvon as the portrait of innocence in his picture from six years prior. To call into question the idea that this poor black child (as the prosecutor kept calling him) was anything but innocent and cherub like is considered racist. The facts and eyewitnesses state that Martin was on top of Zimmerman beating him senseless. The prosecutions lead witness Rachel Jeantel admitted to talent show host Piers Morgan that Trayvon was giving Zimmerman an @$$-whooping.

In each one of these cases, the black community exploded into violence in reaction to what they saw as injustice. 53 people died in the initial LA riots, white people across the United States have been assaulted and killed with the black perpetrators shouting, ‘this is for Trayvon’. Remarkably, the media coverage of these attacks is minimal to non-existent. Everyone from people who testified in the OJ case to the defense team for George Zimmerman received death threats, were picketed against by the Black Panthers and vilified by any black American who was close to a microphone. The facts and evidence do not seem to matter to any of them as they continue to support a theory or theories that have been consistently disproven.

And now Sharpton and Jackson are hitching their wagon to a repeal of stand your ground laws as being a violation of civil rights. To take this nonsensical position to the rightful conclusion, the position that a person (read: white person) has the right to defend their lives against an assault (read: by a black person) is a violation of the black offender’s civil rights. Since when do blacks have a civil right to assault anyone they so choose? And since when does it even make sense to assert that it is only natural that a black person would assault a white person? If EVERYTHING is a civil rights issue, then NOTHING is a civil rights issue. Neither of these two men have ever been truly honest in the words they speak. Facts are thrown out the window as long as it fits their agenda.

Consider these facts:

1. 33% of all of the Florida Stand Your Ground cases involving fatalities are made by black defendants.
2. More than half of those have been successfully defended and acquitted.
3. Black Floridians used the SYG defense at a rate that is twice that of their percentage of Florida’s total population.
4. Most of those fatalities in the SYG cases were white. But those are just facts.

But to take facts and evidence into account is as Jackson and Sharpton and even the President Barack Hussein Obama puts it, racist. The truth is that as long as the black community continues to hitch their wagon to falling stars, as long as they continue to make it about race in each and every disagreement, there will never be racial harmony in the United States of America. Because despite the utter failures by these so-called leaders of the black community, they continue to listen and follow with a rabid blind obedience.

What they should do is start listening to black Americans who lead a positive life. A Herman Cain, Condoleezza Rice, Mia Love, Allen West any and all would be positive role models for the black community to follow, to heed and to learn from. Their hesitancy to do so either betrays an innate knowledge that they choose losers to follow, or these arguments aren’t about black and white at all.

Three years ago, I began seeing a lot of what all those people I thought were crazy were talking about. The value of the dollar plunging. The debt increasing. A devastating economic crash that was on it's way. Seeing each part of this nefarious plot unfold, hearing Soros brag about the economies he has collapsed and how his lifelong goal is to collapse the dollar and America it all led me to a single question, "What can I do?"

I began reading endless books about the collapse of the dollar and they all had an angle. This one was an explanation as to WHY the dollar was collapsing, the other was on how to PROFIT from a collapse another was on what we should do as a country to prevent the collapse. Great, if we could only get the whole country to read that one and do what it said.

The bottom line with me was, I didn't care WHY the dollar would collapse, I certainly didn't need to know how to PROFIT from a collapse, I was and still am barely making ends meet. What I wanted to know was what I can do to provide for my family for the day we awake to find the dollar is worthless. So I started doing research. It came down to four essentials, food & water, energy, protection and communication.

How does one get food and water when stores are emptied and money doesn't work? Hurricane Season 2004 taught us in Florida that money means nothing when the power is off. It took weeks for some stores to be restocked. What would happen if it were a month, two months or a semi-permanent situation? The information I learned I gathered into one volume and it became my book.

If I could do things differently, organize it a little better, correct some grammar and such I would. It was just urgent to me to get this information out there. When I published the book, I did not know I could have a Facebook page for a book. I started the FB page almost a month after the book was published. I remember being so excited to get 25 likes so I could get my page it's own name!

A year later I see the 802 people who get these posts and notes and I have to say this, Thank you. I have learned so much even after the book was out. Preppers, Gardeners, Chicken farmers, energy experts and homesteaders all of you have taught me and the rest of us what may well be the most valuable information we will ever have this side of Heaven. This FB page is a continual re-writing of my book, new chapters, new topics, new ways of doing things we've never even tried before! Thank you all for sharing, thank you for asking the hard questions, and thank you for putting up with little ole' me.
The only option if the nations had declined was for Greece to pull out of the Euro and continue on using their currency which at this time is pretty worthless. Here's the background on this second bailout.

First, it comes with an agreement for the Greek government to increase the austerity measures that have been in place since the first bailout. Keep in mind that Greece's unemployment rate for the younger population is close to half. In addition to that, the current austerity measures have led to desperate parents abandoning their children because they can't afford to feed them. They have led to a crisis shortage of basic medications, even aspirin. The Greek residents who could afford to leave the country did so years ago. Those left, raised in a heavily-funded Socialist state, who have grown up with the government always there to take care of them are only now realizing that in Socialism, eventually you run out of other people's money. This is all BEFORE the required additional austerity measures are put in place.

Second, Greece could very well be the linchpin that once collapsed will lead to the collapse of the countries who bailed them out, and to the collapse of the Euro. Spain, Portugal, and more were not in a cash rich situation when they agreed to the second bailout. These nations know that they have no hope of recouping the money they gave, they agreed for a second time to prevent the total collapse of the Greek economy right now. Once the new austerity measures are in place it will only prolong the inevitable collapse.

Third, Greece produces very little. They have no viable way in sight to begin paying back these bailout funds. Since austerity measures limit what companies can charge consumers for basic goods, most Greek companies, drug companies included, must sell their wares outside of Greece to have a chance at making a profit. This is why hundreds of Greek companies have closed their doors. With more austerity measure on the way, the companies that have survived have little hope to stay open.

Fourth, history proves in each case where an economy has had to implement austerity measures to stave off total collapse, those measures have failed miserably. The Wiemar Republic is just one example.

Fifth, the countries that gave to Greece for this bailout are close to collapse themselves. Even Germany, the strongest of all European nations financially is losing ground. Since Germany agreed to be a part of the bailout, the domino effect of the distress of other nations has resulted in a slowed rate of growth for the German economy. They are essentially in a free fall together trying frantically to not be the first one to hit the ground.

Keep in mind that the coming collapse of Europe is not going to have a neutral effect on us. Our globalist economy is too intertwined with all of these nations. A collapse of one European nation will cause the collapse of another and another until the Euro is worthless. Ten business days later is the estimated time it will take for the US economy to take a hit. Some have projected as long as a month, regardless of which it is, keep your eye on Greece and the rest of the countries in Europe.

Since we do not know the actual time that the economy will completely collapse we don't know if we have a month, a year or five years left. Most experts are projecting 2012 as the year of the dollar collapse. Some believe we have a couple of years and I've even heard one that seems to believe we have five years left.

So what do we do with money (if of course you are lucky enough to have any) before the collapse? Once the dollar goes, our savings, investments etc will be worthless. If you are putting a regular amount into any future investment vehicle, you may want to consider putting off any more contributions if you don't have a year's worth of food, water and ability to provide more of both to you and your family.

If you are putting away enough money for retirement that could be used to purchase land or a farm, why? Get some land in your name now! If you can't do this, do what you can with food, water and medicines.

What about debts? If you can, continue to pay them. However, when the dollar collapses, it will affect those companies you owe money to far more deeply than it will affect you. Think about it, the collectors calling you get paid, the execs for the collection companies get paid, when the money they are getting paid becomes worthless how enthusiastically do you think those individuals will be chasing you?

Our number one goal should be to have the food, the water, the medicines and the ability to raise and grow food. If paying all credit card bills prevents you from prepping as you should remember that after the collapse, your credit score will mean squat. What will matter is can you survive?

I know what I am saying flies into the face of Dave Ramsey ideals but we need to do what we have to as soon as we can. When you see that Greece has collapsed entirely, the Euro will be less than a month behind and the Dollar will be about ten business days beyond that.

If you want to invest in a sure thing, invest in your survival.

Skin in the Game

You have to understand that I am a hapless amateur when it comes to a lot of things prep-wise. I have spent the last two years learning and doing stuff I never thought I'd do. I've helped in harvesting (read: killing) some of our more fiesty roosters. I've built a greenhouse from scratch, no kits involved. I've retooled a shed into a large coop, built a massive pallet based coop and yesterday I skinned my first raccoon.

I hate raccoons. This coon was responsible for killing the first four baby chicks that were born and hatched entirely by a momma chicken. The rest that we have were hatched in an incubator. These four walked out of the pumphouse with their mom one day and we were really surprised. It killed two of our favorite ducks, a buff orpington, and several of our barred rocks.

I spent a week outside until 3am to try to shoot this demon to no avail. I LOATHED this thing. So as it's strung up by it's neck and I am for the first time in my life removing an animal's skin it struck me how many different things I have done. These are the somewhat weird thoughts I had:

1. This skin really comes off easy with a little cutting in the right places.

2. Wow! Raccoons seem to be all dark meat.

3. These things stink even before rigor sets in.

4. I wonder if it tastes like chicken?

When our society changes, and for the first time many of us are skinning animals for food, canning veggies, or trying to get an egg out from underneath an angry hen, we are all going to learn what to do and what not to do.

Americans adapt. Americans are strong, independent and when not spoiled by liberal policies and government we are self-reliant. No matter how bad it gets, like accidentally piercing the raccoon scrotum (okay maybe that wasn't an accident, I really hated that raccoon) or cracking a few canning jars, we will survive. We have our very survival at stake and each of us will do what we have to do, whether we know what we are doing or not. We do what we can to prepare, for what we can't prepare for, we pray for. Together, we will survive because we have skin in this game.

That is why I have joined as many prepping groups on FB as I could find, I simply don't know enough. The more I find out the more I realize how complicated EVERYTHING will get almost overnight. I want more people to know what to do for two reasons: One, because I don't want to see anyone starving, lacking medical attention or in need. And two, because (selfishly?) it means there will be that many fewer people knocking on my door for help.

We are by no means rich, even really middle class, so our preps have been sparse and cheap. We can't possibly help everyone in my family, much less my neighborhood, city or state. Sometimes I feel like to turn people away would be selfish, but I look at what is happening in Greece, where parents are abandoning their children because they can't afford to care for them and there is no way I want to be in that position.

When the SHTF, I'm not going to be prancing around saying 'see, I told you so'. (I don't prance anyway.) It's going to hurt, it's going to be disturbing. I went to the elders at the church I attend and asked about helping to start a food pantry for an emergency, no I wasn't specific. They said good idea, too bad we don't have storage space. Our local churches will pass up an opportunity to be a help and a resource and no one will be able to reach out and help.

If I'm not 100 percent certain that I will be able to feed my family tomorrow, there is a zero percent chance that I will use what I have to feed the people that refuse to prepare. I can't think of it as being selfish, maybe I'm just that kind of person, I have to take care of my own and so do you.

The warnings I have given, the books on the subject I wrote and this FB page is all the help I will be able to give to most people. I will do what I can to keep learning, keep teaching and let the scoffers and intentionally unaware continue to laugh. We all have to do what we must, and let God do what He will for the rest. There is an interesting point in Genesis in the description of the Flood. Noah spent more than 100 years building the ark, preaching of what was coming and the only ones he was able to convince were the members of his family. When it came time for the waters to begin rising, the account in Genesis says that "God closed the door".

Maybe it was the water getting higher that finally convinced the rest that 'hey, that Noah guy must have been right' but God had closed the door. Was it because He knew that Noah may let some people in after the judgment began? I don't know, but they died knowing that they had a chance to respond, to help and they chose not to. The door is closing, the clouds are forming and we know that there will be some who will be banging on our doors, they made the choice to ignore us. To ignore the world situation. Turning them away won't be selfish, it will be survival.

Easy Sprouting Veggies for SHTF Garden

Once in a while, the stores in our area put on a great sale on veggies that can't be beat. The tuberous root veggies when placed in a cool, dry, dark place begin sprouting roots that can be propagated into new plants and hence, new veggies. These veggies include my personal favorite, the potato and many others that I've never eaten willingly but will have to when there is no other choice. These options include:

1.Yams
2.Earthnut/Pignut
3.Ginger
4.Sweet Potato
5.Yuca
6.Mauka
7.Breadroot/Tipsin
Being honest, I've never heard of some of these options. What makes this avenue of beginning your victory garden is that on these roots, the sprouts are the key. One sprout at one end, one in the center and another on the far end means you can cut the one potato or other tuberous root into three sections which will grow three plants. When your local store has a BOGO free sale on any of these fresh vegetable choices, take advantage of it and begin growing your garden!

It takes roughly 90 days for a potato plant to produce potatoes. Your first crop of veggies has to last for 90 days while your second crop is growing. A potato plant produces approximately 15 - 20 pounds of potatoes depending on the variety. If you go through one 10lb bag each week, you will need 120 pounds or 9 - 10 potato plants. Plant 15 of them and use leftover potatoes for sprouting and planting for the second, third and so on harvests. At least, that is what we are doing.
Unfortunately, people do panic. The recent incident recounted at Walmart where the CC machines went down caused panic when customers could not purchase their items. Imagine what would happen if the outage was not for 90 minutes, but for a full day or a week or in a SHTF situation where it is likely to become permanent.

And events at Walmart (again) where mobs were kicking, pepper-spraying and injuring each other to get a $2 toaster for Christmas; they all show that people in our normally civil communities do panic and become unruly mobs given the right stimulus. There are a couple of "possible" events that will let us preppers know that the collapse is imminent.

1.The Euro Collapses - we may have as little as ten days to be ready for the beginning of the collapse of the US economy and the dollar.
2.A previously unheard of bank holiday closes banks nationwide - this would be a likely indication of a downgrading of the dollar's value and we will have no time to remove our cash balances before the devaluing starts.
3.A spike in commodities trading of over 30% in one day. - People in the know, like George Soros will be moving out of the dollar quickly and into oil, gold, silver or other commodities.
These events will be our cue to make the final preparations for a difficult time. It will be before everyone else who suffers from normalcy bias and the big government dependents will realize what is going on. This time will be essential for us. We can't panic. All we can do is do what we can with what we have. And, we may want to avoid Wal-Mart entirely.

Don't Forget to Laugh

With all the seriousness and urgent issues we face with an impending economic collapse our everyday reading and learning has changed. Two years after beginning the writing of Preparing for the Coming Collapse of the US Dollar and The Last Domino I am still learning and studying about issues I was completely unaware of before. I am the worst handyman/builder in the world with two tools in my collection, a chop saw and an electric drill. In the last year though, I have built four chicken coops, (working on the fifth), a hoop-house greenhouse garden, a rabbit hutch and have started on a composting toilet, floating garden and 55 gallon water filter.

I have done things I never thought about doing. I have learned about the connection between George Soros and his role in collapsing world economies, and his desire to collapse the dollar. I've learned about the insidious Agenda 21, read about the NDAA and what it means to my kids growing up in a radically altered Amerika (yes that was on purpose). I have stocked up on food and meds, bought chickens for eggs and meat. We have plans to get rabbits, goats and perhaps a cow or two. I'm a former minister and an accountant by trade, not a farmer!

We are all going to have to learn new trades. To learn a new way of life and a new economy. There are several very good blogs to give us the information we need and it WILL be essential. Let's not forget our heart though. Yes we have to do these things and learn these things to survive, but what we do will seriously affect our children and our grandchildren (though I don't have those yet.) In the end, what we are doing is for THEM.

I've allowed my kids to plan their "futures" according to what they wish, though I know that what they want to do may not actually be career worthy after the collapse. We still prepare, we still work the farm, we stock up on food and watch the disintegration of the Euro with interest, but they need hope. Learn what you have to learn, but never forget that your children need some kind of "goal" to hang onto throughout the mess that is coming. If that goal is to be a Caligrapher or an NFL Quarterback, so be it.

Laugh, joke around a little, enjoy your lives now. Find the up side of any situation and dream a little. When the time comes, being prepared is going to give you a breather to be able to handle the most stressful scenarios with humor.
The idea that a parent could abandon their child is difficult enough to understand. The fact that they feel they have no other choice is even harder.

In Greece, parents are leaving their newborns and toddlers at schools or hospitals. Many of us can't fathom deserting our children. In extreme circumstances, where the choice is between keeping your child without the ability to feed them or letting someone else keep them alive in a possibly abusive situation, it's a no-win situation.

Keep reading beyond the stock photo and you'll find that the country is running out of medicines and aspirin. NO! not a drugstore, not a pharmacy, the whole country of Greece is running out of meds. The Greek currency has been devalued enough to make doing business in Greece a losing proposition. The liberal Socialists have limited the amount that drug companies can charge for medicines because it's just fair. The companies then sell the meds to the nations that pay more first, whatever is left is sold in Greece. And that's not much.

These austerity measures being put in place after the first Greek bailout were meant to keep the economy going but they are only doing what similar measures have always done. They are killing a nation. And just to give you a clue, even after

■parents have begun abandoning their children
■families are starving
■they are unable to get medicine or aspirin and
■unemployment continues rampantly
Even after all that do you understand that Greece's currency hasn't completely collapsed yet? The Bailouts temporarily prevented total collapse but it's coming. How do I know that?

Because right now, Germany has the strongest economy in Europe, if Germany had backed out of the bailout, Greece would be done now. They didn't back out because Greece owes the European Union too much money. A collapse of Greece would destabilize the European nations. And now, Germany's economy is failing. The continued over-extension of bailouts to prevent the collapse of a debtor nation has not only failed to stop the collapse, but has drawn more nations into the same boat. They now run the risk of collapse if one other nation collapses.

Right now, look at your children. The collapse in Greece isn't complete, and yet children are being abandoned. It is happening TODAY. It will happen HERE. If you aren't prepared, if it's all a big joke to you and preppers are a source of amusement to you, decide now whether your no win situation will call for abandoning your child to the streets or starving them to death along with you.
So many things are up in the air. Israel vs Iran, Soros' mutual fund is now officially private so we won't know what he is buying or selling in bulk, Obama is in full gear to get reelected and to weaken or eliminate the remaining three or four rights we still have in the Bill of Rights. For the second time in our history, American citizens, by virtue of being dubbed 'enemies' can be detained indefinitely without trial, charges or any rights whatsoever. For the first time in history a US President has called those who disagree with him, enemies. The dollar reaches it's limit as the debt ceiling is getting raised again for the third time in the same Presidential term. The FED is printing more dollars to compensate for a lack of spending by consumers and a failure of the stimulus package. The EURO is not recovering from the earlier efforts to save it and is in as much trouble as it was. The choices we have for a GOP candidate are slim to none, establishment Republicans who seem to sound like Obama in many areas. Viable candidates are attacked, maligned and forced out of the race.

Keep your loved ones close, pass on the love of Country to your children, stand strong in adversity for if we as Americans cannot stand together against the rising level of tyranny that we will fall. And if we fall, the concept of Freedom will fade not only here, but in the whole world.

Remember what you will need, food, water, some means of barter, protection (lead, not latex), communication, community. Let's be thankful that we have made it to another year and mindful of the collapse to come.
I've never been one to intentionally use any of those words and I get disappointed when comedians, movies and other shows have to resort to using them in the name of entertainment. You can be entertained without foul language. Now it seems we are being revisited by the ghost of George Carlin on the internet.

It wasn't too long after the 08 elections that it leaked out that the CIA and FBI were hiring people to monitor sites like this one using key word 'triggers' to prove that the person writing the note, or article was a terrorist. Any mention of Barack Hussein Obama ends up on his Facebook page. So what words will trigger a red flag? What words will end up landing someone in a detention facility with no hope of a trial, or due process?

Militia?

Freedom?

Obama?

Prepare?

Revolution?

Tea Party?

Obviously, threatening the President is a stupid thing to do. It's something that is sure to get one a visit from the Secret Service. However, since we know that a "list" has been in the works for some time now, we know if something we have posted has made it's way into the hands of the SS that we are on that list. Our freedoms are being eroded at a staggering rate prompted by those from both sides of the political aisle.

We have a choice. We can assert our First Amendment right to free speech, our Second Amendment right to secure the first and hope that we won't be branded an enemy of the State. Or we can keep our mouths shut, post only that which is warm and fuzzy so we can avoid trouble and end up losing each freedom enumerated in the Bill of Rights. Who would have believed that ANY President would push for and receive the authority to arrest and detain indefinitely American citizens without a trial?

I posted this statement last year and again several months ago and it is even more true now than it was the first time. It is getting to the point where the Secret Service is going to have to decide whether to protect the office of the Presidency, or the man who currently holds the job. I'm still looking for that list of words I am not supposed to use, and will be using each word in multiple posts. When I find it, I'll let you know.
There are ramifications I just didn't quite understand with the utter collapse of our economy. There will be consequences I didn't consider.

1. Grid-Down - I thought that our power MAY continue even after the collapse. Now I know there isn't much of a chance of that happening. I didn't realize how many major cities, towns and areas are on grids run by coal-fired plants. Why is that important you ask? Because when no one is getting paid to dig for, refine, transport and add coal to the plant, the lights will go out. Of course, this could happen before the collapse due to the new Obama environmental regulations that are happening in January. This will shut down a number of coal fired plants to prevent "global warming" which has been proven a hoax. The already fragile US Power Grid will be splintered even further. If you are "lucky" enough to live near a nuclear fired plant, your power may continue, but without power from other sources, or employees working for free, the chances of a melt-down increase exponentially.

2. Communications - Without electricity, there will be no power to the cell towers that power your phones. If Obama enacts the power he requested to shutdown the internet before the utilities shut down, articles like this and pages to help keep patriots in touch will cease to exist. We will be on our own. Earlier tries for a BBS system explained in the Last Domino book, (available now for free in the docs section of this page.) turned out to be successful, but not very well attended. It uses hard line phone systems to communicate via the pre-internet internet. The SMS test was successful the last time we tried it, but I goofed on the reverse SMS test. (My fault, I apologize profusely) Both of these require power to succeed. We will need to communicate but the answer to this eludes me. (carrier pigeons, anyone?)

3. Water - I knew we would have to have water. I included the water information in the Last Domino book, which deals with bugging out and leaving an area to find water, because I didn't consider the fact that water treatment plants won't be running during total collapse. In Argentina, one of the first things to go when their currency collapsed was access to clean water. The taps were delivering non-potable water.

4. Protection - Recent developments with the addition of the bill passed in the Senate giving the government the ability to arrest and detain American citizens indefinitely without trial have added a third enemy to the list of those we will need protection from. There will be the hungry unprepared who will do what they must to survive, including stealing from those they laughed at previously. There will be the organized mobs of enemies of America who will take advantage of the chaos. Hamas, Al Quaeda and more are waiting for that day so they can seize control where they are. And now we have to add the police, or the para-military group of the Obama Civilian Army to that list. The power to lock someone up indefinitely without benefit of a trial is unconstitutional, illegal and the death knell of freedom in America.

5. Support - There are prepper groups located in many areas of the country. Your chances of joining one of these groups now is much greater than the chances of joining them after the collapse. Many of these preppers are people of faith, (no need to argue about which one), and they are concerned Americans. They are here on FB, they give tips on how to grow food, how to raise animals, how to store food, how to save money on items you need. Take advantage of all this now and get connected. In reading the article about the collapse in Bosnia, one thought stuck out, the group survives, the individual does not.

I wish I could have incorporated all this into the first book, but that is why I continue learning and writing, to get what I can, and let as many people as possible learn from it. Here on this FB page and on my blog. All these notes of what I should have known or included in the book are found at the blog. When I have time I will update it, the holiday season has been keeping me real busy. It is a crazy time of year.
We also saw that there are a lot of things happening right now that verify that "crazy" is not as crazy as we once thought.

We face two devastating crisis events that are coming soon, one is the threat of food hyper-inflation, the other is the collapse of the dollar. There is a reason that millions of Americans are preparing, and being ridiculed by others for doing so. We are in good company however. The CEO's of several large corporations and many respected people have issued statements in the last year about the future food hyper-inflation that is coming. These include the CEO of McDonald's, WalMart, the President of the World Bank and Robert T Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Peter Schiff, Gerald Celente, and many others agree with these CEO's.

CEO's rarely release statements of such a nature commenting on political or potential problems. But these people have. They can see it coming. They don't want you or me to blame them when a hamburger at McDonald's goes up from 1.19 to $5 or $10 each. Corn prices rose 800% in the last year. For those ignorant enough to say, "Well, I don't eat corn. So that doesn't matter to me." There really is no hope for them, don't bother arguing. They don't realize that corn is in everything. Soda, cooking oil, sweeteners, it's fed to cows, chickens and pigs which increases our cost to purchase meat, chicken and pork.

We aren't alone. We aren't fringe people, looking to take over the government or harm anyone. There are very successful people who see what is coming and they aren't crazy, they just aren't willing to put the blinders on when it comes to progressive political policies. You aren't alone. So when your semi-successful plumber brother in law laughs because you are a prepper, understand that there are multi-millionaires who are preppers too. When your parents just think you are going through a phase, understand that for every prepper FB page you see, there are twice as many if not more prepper groups you can't see because they aren't advertising their existence.

I wish we WERE in the majority. But we aren't. The good news is that you are aware of what is coming, you have the opportunity to prepare and if you are reading this, that is more than likely what you are doing. Take comfort in that when your peers treat you like you are crazy.
Because the currency has not collapsed in the lifetime of the ignorant majority, they believe it is not possible and that it won't happen. There are a few facts that they should, but will not consider.

1. George Soros engineered financial collapse in England, Thailand, Malaysia, Russia, Argentina, Slovakia, Croatia, Georgia, and Yugoslavia. He has engineered the collapse of countless currencies all over the globe. He makes billions by shorting the currency and as millions are plunged into hunger and poverty, unemployment and anarchy, he calls this practice "fun." This is the same man who stated on TV that his next goal is to collapse the US dollar. As the US dollar is so intertwined with other world currencies, he will make trillions. He has done it before, has stated he will do it with the US Dollar, why is taking him seriously at his word considered, "Crazy"?

2. Our Debt and Spending Levels are unsustainable. Put into monetary figures everyone can understand, Our US "Family" earns $58,000 a year.(in tax revenue) We spend $75,000 (congressional spending, not counting Obamacare and Cap and Trade taxes) a year and have $327,000 in credit card debt. We have to borrow $17,000 a year just to keep up with our current lifestyle. That nice family next door, Mr. and Mrs. Chinaman have told us that they will no longer loan us the extra $17,000 a year to finance our debt. So now we have to trim another $17,000 a year from our spending just to break even. That's not counting the extra $40,000 in interest each year we are paying on what we already owe Mr. and Mrs. Chinaman.

I know a person, he will remain nameless cause this is a true story. He had an innate desire to impress others. His family, his employees (legal and otherwise) and people he didn't know. ALL had to be impressed with him, his house and his wealth. The problem? He wasn't wealthy. He is in construction and built himself a close to $2 million house. The monthly payments were just shy of his total yearly income. He started all this AFTER the housing bubble burst. Then on top of his other three vehicles, he just had to have that $75,000 two-seat car. When a vehicle got too old, or paid off, he'd trade for the next higher up model. Then they HAD to go to Hawaii, the Bahamas and the Keys all in the same year that his business was sliding off into non-existence. It was unsustainable. Right now, WE are that family as Americans. What are they doing now? They are in a smaller townhouse got rid of all the nice "extras" they bought to impress others and are trying to survive.

We won't have the option of getting out from under this debt. The pain of dealing with the eventual collapse is seemingly less important to the political elite than getting reelected. We can't continue this trend, and yet that is exactly what we are doing.

I guess we are just crazy.

Actually I've gotten used to it, after all, it's been more than three years that I have endured criticism of the views that I speak or post on Facebook. When speaking to others about the horrors of an utter economic collapse in this country, they cannot fathom how bad it is actually going to be. Storing food and ammo is seen as "Crazy". The Branch Davidian (no relation) compound was essentially guilty of storing weapons, ammo and food. They were called "Crazy".

Trying to tell people that the dollar will be worthless soon is just too much for some people to comprehend. Let's look at some of the things that we would have been called crazy for just five years ago.

1.If you had said that a US President would buy out a US Corporation with tax payer money and demand that the CEO be fired, you would have been called "Crazy".
2.If you had said that a US President Administration would advocate and supply weapons to Mexican drug cartels so that they could pursue an anti-second amendment agenda, you would have been called "Crazy".
3.If you had said that the Federal Government would ask for and get authority to detain American citizens indefinitely with no right to a trial, you would have been called "Crazy".
4.If you had said that a US President would refer to those who disagree with him as "Enemies", or had asked Americans not once, not twice but four different times to report those friends, family members and neighbors who disagreed with the Presidents policies to a government agency, you would have been called, "Crazy".
5.If you had said that a US President would ask for and get authority to shut down the internet for our own good, you would have been called, "Crazy."
6.If you had said that the government would pursue those who sell raw milk with more fervor than those who sell automatic weapons or drugs, you would have been called, "Crazy".
7.If you had said that food prices would increase by 800 percent in less than six months time, you would have been called, "Crazy".
8.If you had said that the United States credit rating would be downgraded by two grades by a major credit bureau, you would have been called, "Crazy".
9.If you had said that one US President would spend more in two years than the combined spending of every President from George Washington to George W Bush, you would have been called, "Crazy".
10.If you can look at each one of these previous nine "Crazy" statements and still believe everything will be okay, you ARE officially Crazy.
Many of us would after the collapse occurs, help our loved ones if we could, well some of them at least. We start thinking about survival and having to turn away hungry family members because we just don't have enough for our own and we feel guilty. We need to stop feeling guilty.

"There are none so blind as those who will not see."

I don't know who said that or why, but the idea applies here. You will not be able to convince some of your loved ones, no matter how close they are, to provide for themselves. Whether it's normalcy bias, loyal support of progressive ideals or whatever, they will not listen. The burden is on THEM, not you, not me. Unless you have the resources of Glenn Beck, you don't have the where-with-all to support your entire family and friends.

Letting them know what is coming, urging them to prepare for it is all the help you can give some people. What they do with the advice and information is entirely up to them. Sadly, we are so close right now to collapse, we are passed the time of warnings and verbal advice. So what CAN you do?

For Christmas give them a present that they can use to prepare, even if you don't specify that is what it is for.

1. Seeds

2. Rechargeable Batteries

3. Dehydrated foods

4. Fishing Equipment

5. Camping Equipment

Never give ammo or weapons to someone who refuses to prepare. They could come back and use them against you.

Given even one of them, it would create the type of panic and riots here that we saw in Greece and other places. It's unsustainable debt, an inverse balance in exports/imports trade, uncontrollable borrowing from America's enemies to fund excessive spending, the Clouard-Piven collapse the system tactics being followed by our leaders in Government and the imminent collapse of the Euro. With each way or reason, there are those who insist that that is the only one and true reason that the collapse will occur. Sadly, they are mistaken.

But with each day, more and more people are jumping on the bandwagon of prepping for a total economic collapse. There are more internet sites and blogs being created every day. This is a good thing. The more people who are prepared, the fewer people there will be in the initial meelee and panic of the collapse. There are a lot of us in this same boat. Our loved ones feel we've lost an essential part of our brains, we see the sinister motives of such pleasantly named companies like Monsanto and we seriously consider a composting toilet as a much needed accessory for our future.

With more of us boarding every day, our bandwagon is getting heavy. This brings up a few really good points we need to think about.

First, communication. Once the SHTF there will be no easy way for like-minded individuals to keep in contact for news, tips, support and to help make us feel like we aren't alone in the universe. The SMS testing finally worked successfully with over 75% of participants receiving the message. The reverse SMS test was more than likely screwed up by yours truly who tried unsuccessfully to forward the test message. The BBS test in May only had one other participant and the process was difficult. There is a list of BBS sites, which can be used even when the internet is off, that will enable us to communicate old school style in the Last Domino book which is available now for free in the DOCS section of this page. https://docs.com/GIX8

Second, protection. Since there are more of us, and more is better than fewer, we can find these like-minded people now before prepping becomes doing and everyone is on board. If you read that article about the collapse in Bosnia and what the people went through there, you know that groups survive, individuals don't. Hiding only succeeds if no one can find your hiding spot. We need a group of people in a community to survive.

Third, talents. Not everyone can successfully raise and slaughter animals, grow vegetables and fruit, build structures, shoot accurately and swiftly, but if you can do one, and a friend can do another you can compensate for weaknesses by banding together. I am terrible at building, but am a dang fine shot with a rifle. I can grow veggies and fruit successfully but I really hate slaughtering animals. Find your strengths and weaknesses and find allies to make up for those weaknesses.

Four, supplies. Sharing supplies you have with someone else in exchange for work or supplies you don't have will become essential to survival. Few of us have the room to store a years worth of toilet paper or water, but we can trade or barter if need be.

It's sometimes funny to see the comments from those who are just now learning how precarious our position is. They speculate about having only a decade left before the collapse, I wish I believed that we had that long. They will learn, gain more skills and hopefully be somewhat ready when the SHTF. If you have any other ideas about community living or communications, feel free to post them below. We are all here to learn what we can, while we can.

Controlling Your Access to Food

There are a number of "unrelated" laws passed, decisions made and actions taken that apart from each other make little to no sense at all. Taken together however, it seems that the Federal Government wants to control the access each one of us has to food and water. Yes, I know that sounds crazy, but consider these points:

1. The recent ruling by Wisconsin Judge Patrick J. Fiedler that an American citizen does not have the fundamental right to grow or eat food they have grown. These are his exact words:

“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to own and use a dairy cow or a dairy herd;”

“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to consume the milk from their own cow;”

“no, Plaintiffs do not have a fundamental right to produce and consume the foods of their choice…”

What possible reason can the judge have for this ruling? That you or I can produce food from our animals/garden, but we do not have the right to eat it?

2. The laws recently being enforced about collection of rainwater for gardening or livestock use. Though these laws have been around for a while, it is only recently that they have been systematically enforced because in the government's eyes, rainwater belongs to them.

3. Senate Bill S510 prohibits, or can be easily interpreted as prohibiting each American from growing, using, trading or eating food grown by them. Dr. Shiv Chopra is one of the opponents of this new law and has been quoted as saying:

“If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God.”

I've read this bill, and the language is difficult to understand as it is in typical legislative legalese. Essentially, what I gathered is that if you are growing your own food, you would need to be able to trace back every egg to every chicken that laid it, what time it was laid and where. Every tomato would receive similar treatment which vine of which plant and when was it picked. If you did not have this information, you would not be able to use food as commerce or trade. Local Farmer's markets would eventually become non-existent.

4. The Feds War Against Milk - Farmer Dan Allgyer's farm was under surveillance for a year. Feds swarmed the place one day more than a year ago to "prove" that Farmer Dan was selling raw milk. He was questioned, harassed, and threatened with arrest. One federal officer noted a truck that was leaving the property and hastily took out after it. Since his vehicle wasn't equipped with lights or sirens, he had local police pull the truck over so he could, without a warrant search it. Nothing was found. It's too bad Farmer Dan wasn't making semi-automatic weapons instead of milk, the Feds might have bought them to sell to Mexican drug cartels.

Why all of these incidents? Because raw milk is bad? Because rainwater belongs to the government? Because we don't have the fundamental right to do with as we please with our own private property? Or, could it be that the Fed is aware of a time that is coming where access to food will be limited? That if there is a large population of people living off the land there will be that many more citizens who are not dependent on Government for sustenance? What is happening in this country when killing your own unborn child is just fine, but selling or drinking raw milk prompts a Federal raid?

There are always the standby recommended amounts of 2 liters of water per person per day and 6 - 8 oz of protein per person per day. At a bare minimum each of us need enough water and food to last us 3 months, preferably 6 months. This 3-6 month period of time is meant to give us more time to grow, raise or hunt food for the next 3-6 months, not so we can lolly-gag around and be proud of ourselves for having food storage.

After counting the consumed water and food, I realized that we eat and drink way too much. We went through 45 gallons of water in a month and food that should have stretched to 3 or 4 meals were done in 2. This next month we will enter our rationing phase of sticking to the recommended needs to see how we cope. If you are not familiar with how much food and water your family consumes, begin keeping track now. Know how much you will have to store. Know how much room you have to store food and water.

As of this date, there are two things we are preparing for: food hyperinflation and the inevitable dollar collapse. Food hyperinflation will come first, it's happening now incrementally. Manufacturers that used to sell six units per box are now selling four for the same price. Meat prices are climbing across the board and many people don't notice because they are looking at the total price of the package instead of the price per pound. The free samples that used to be distributed at Krispy Kreme, Chick Fil A and other fast food places are disappearing because the companies are paying more for their products and can't afford to give out free samples.

When the food hyper-inflation peaks, it won't be unusual for milk to be $15 a gallon, bread at $23 a loaf, be ready now. Know how much you need so when it gets bad, you will at least have food and water for you and your family to ride out the initial stages of panic in the streets.
