Hamilton Pride Festival banned the Canadian military over what it says are human rights violations in countries where the armed forces are serving - notably Afghanistan and Haiti.

(Hamilton, Ontario) Gays and lesbians have been part of the Canadian military since 1992 when the armed forces lifted its ban on gays from serving.

But, now they're not welcomed at the Hamilton Pride Festival.

Mother That Forced Her Children To Have Sex With Other Sentenced To Life In Prison, It took the Jury 5 Minutes to convict her, just read the story and click the link to watch the video.

TYLER - Shauntel Mayo - the woman that organized the "Mineola Swinger's Club" and forced her own children to perform there - was found guilty in a Smith County Courthouse Thursday.

The jury decided 29-year-old Shauntel Mayo's fate in less than five minutes.

She received the maximum sentence of life behind bars and required to pay a $10,000 fine for engaging in organized criminal activity. She will be eligible for parole in 25 years.

"The unthinkable," said Smith County assistant district attorney Joe Murphy. "She had her kids have sex with each other and taught them to masterbate. She taught them how to strip. She withheld food from them. All so she could make money."

The so-called "Mineola Swinger's Club" is a place where Mayo forced her kids to go, if they wanted dinner.

Inside that 'club', which was a rented-out business that ironically once served as a daycare and hospital, Mayo and five others are accused of running an operation that forced young children to dance and perform sexual skits for food.

Five of the children are now in custody and three of them are Mayo's kids.

Texas Ranger Phillip Kemp, the lead investigator in the case, testified Wednesday that he believes that at least 15 more kids 'performed' at the "Mineola Swinger's Club" - but the investigation to locate them continues.

In March and less than 10 minutes after deliberating, a Smith County jury found Mayo's live-in boyfriend, 36-year-old Jaime Pittman, guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child and he was sentenced to life behind bars. Mayo's mother, Sheila Sones, is also charged in connection wtih this case.

At the times the alleged assaults took place in 2005, the defendant's children were a five-year-old girl, six-year-old boy and seven-year-old girl. The sibling's aunt and defendant's sister, who was also six-years- old, also testified she was forced to dance and have sex with the other children.

Late Wednesday afternoon, three young children and one teenager, took the stand and answered questions about Mayo's involvement in the case.

"We learned to strip (at 'kindergarten')," said the seven-year-old. " I had to touch my privates with my sister's and brother's privates for the people in the club."

The little boy testified about stripping for an audience that paid money to watch.

KETK does not identify sexual assault victims nor the new parents of these children.

According to the adoptive mother's testimony, three years removed from the sex ring, the kids still suffer extreme behavioral, emotional and physical problems.

One after another, the children described in graphic detail of a place they dubbed 'kindergarten.'

At 'kindergarten,' they said they learned how to strip, dance and perform sexual acts. First on dolls, then on each other. They also testified about 'silly pills.' Those pills were what each kid described they were given before going on stage. Prosecutors testified that the pills were likely Vicodin.

Upon "graduating" from 'kindergarten' the children said they moved on to "perform" at the club. After patrons paid a fee to get in, the kids say they had sexual contact with other children in front of an audience - including siblings and family members.

Jury members -- six men and four women -- cried as the kids testified. The children would not look at their mother until prosecutors asked them to identify and article of clothing she was wearing. Mayo sobbed upon seeing her kids and hearing the recollection of the events that took place, allegedly, in her care.

The children were adopted by a 60-year-old woman and man who said they have served as foster parents for 37 years. (found at KETK NBC 56)

Review of Pebble Dash - Transexual Rock Throwing Game

This is an article that was submitted to Digg, now I previously heard that Digg was not big on accepting gay nor lesbian articles, so I wonder how this one made it through without any problems.

The name of this game is really Pebble Dash by Beefjack Games. I'm going to let you read what was written, as to how it came about being a fabulous Transsexual rock throwing game.

Here goes....

If you like your main characters strong like a bull and dainty as a fairy, try this...the Pebble Dash review. This is the caption on the article located at Digg.

Overall

We start off with our lady man ready to throw some rock. I only say lady boy because I can't tell whether this is a boy or a girl. He/she wears brown boots with a purple flower combo strap, football stripy top and brown shirt/shorts to match. Of course no fucked up outfit would be complete with a feather in your head to really finish the look. Anyway, one click of the mouse button sets your angle another click to set your power, here comes the tricky part of the game. Sitting and watching your rock travel.

Wicked. In fact this Lady boy is so strong he/she can pelt the pebble around the world which actually is the best (and only) part. The variation in scenery actually fools you into thinking the pebble is moving and worse yet you start to care. I actually found myself cheering the pebble on and smirking to myself for the two meaningless button clicks I made at the start. It was at this point I realized I was enjoying myself.

Watching a lady boy throw pebbles had totally engrossed me for half an hour, which sadly was all I could bear. Once I stopped kidding myself that there is any skill involved I began to lose interest. Good music very tropical, interesting sound effects, track 2 is a bit iffy, sounds as thought its ripped from a dodgy final fantasy scene.

What do you all think about this? Is it insulting, because I really don't know? I love when I find Dyke Super Sheroes. I like Dyke Comics, things of this nature don't offend me. It's no more offensive to me than my feeling the power in 'God is a Dyke and Jesus is Gay'. Although, I know I render some people speechless to say, the very least.

I could only watch this video once!

I know that Ms. Johnson will receive due justice there is no doubt. She has retained herself a lawyer, the entire Memphis County jail stands in dire need of diversity training, etc. The nurse as you will hear Duanna speak about should lose her certificate or license, because it's inexcusable.

Judy Shepard has spoken to over one million students, since her son's death. She narrates the one thing which keeps her going are the children whose parents aren't supportive, those who are rejected.

Yet there is one story in particular that stands out for Mrs. Shepard.

A 16 year old boy informed his mother one morning on the way to school, that he was gay. He felt this would be the best time, she was driving and they had an audience. Sadly, homophobia and hatred still prevailed. The young man's mother pulled the car over and put him out. Making sure that he understood, that she never wanted to see him again. This is a major break through, which hopefully will lead to many changes, that are also needed within the adult penal system, as it pertains to housing the Transgender population and their treatment, during incarceration --- It's simply adhering to their basic civil rights.

Three very important rulings were established - Transgender youth will now be addressed by the name of their choice, they are afforded the opportunity to select which uniform they will wear and they can request special housing.

Yes, Kudos! for this new anti-discrimination policy.

MEMPHIS, TN.Memphis police officer beating a suspect at 201 Poplar in an apparent case of police brutality.

The video, recorded February 12th, shows Duanna Johnson in the booking area at the Shelby County Criminal Justice Center after an arrest for prostitution.The tape clearly shows a Memphis police officer walk over to Johnson - a transsexual - and hit her in the face several times."

Actually he was trying to get me to come over to where he was, and I responded by telling him that wasn't my name - that my mother didn't name me a 'faggot' or a 'he-she,' so he got upset and approached me. And that's when it started," Johnson said.

"We wanted some acknowledgement - my client did - so she would know that the Memphis Police Department didn't condone this," said Murray Wells, Johnson's attorney. "We were optimistic that they would be as outraged about this as we are, and we haven't gotten any indication that they're interested in it at all.

A copy of the tape was reviewed by both the FBI and the District Attorney's office, the latter of which dropped all charges against Johnson. An FBI investigation into possible civil rights violations is still underway.

Meanwhile, the Memphis Police Department confirmed that the officer holding Johnson was on probation, and has been fired. The officer who threw the punches is currently on non-enforcement status pending an administrative hearing.

They just keep showing up at the wrong funerals! Believe me they wouldn't want to show up at a funeral that me nor my family members are attending. Uh Uh...and we're trying to get someone buried placed in a grave, they would get a beat down, I'm not lying.

At Tim Russert's Kennedy Center memorial, members of the Westboro Baptist Church picketed and held placards cursing the beloved Meet the Press host for his Catholicism and tolerance of homosexuality.

Something tells me that today, as hundreds weep not two hundred yards from my office, is not the day to say something nice about the most reviled family in America. But when is the day? ---LOL do you think??

The kindest thing one can say about the Phelps clan (the Church consists primarily of one family) is that they are not exactly what they seem. Commonly thought to be an extreme branch of the Religious Right, they in fact profoundly loathe the figures most identified with religious conservatism. ---Wow that they appear lifelike and human so this author is what confirming our back in the mind thoughts -- they are monsters and demons -- possibly aliens? Homosexuality in males may be caused in part by genes that can increase fertility in females, according to a new study.

The findings may help solve the puzzle of why, if homosexuality is hereditary, it hasn't already disappeared from the gene pool, since gay people are less likely to reproduce than heterosexuals.

A team of researchers found that some female relatives of gay men tend to have more children than average.

The scientists used a computer model to explain how two genes passed on through the maternal line could produce this effect.

In 2004 the researchers studied about 200 Italian families and found that the mothers, maternal aunts and maternal grandmothers of gay men are more fecund, or fruitful, than average.

Despite the greater ability of same-sex partners to understand each others' points of view, same-sex relationships tend to be short-lived. (Diggs, The Health Risks of Gay Sex, p. 9)
Homosexual households are also more prone to domestic violence. For example: "The incidence of domestic violence among gay men is nearly double that in the heterosexual population," according to D. Island and P. Letellier in Men Who Beat the Men Who Love Them (New York: Haworth Press, 1991). A study in the Journal of Social Service Research reported that "slightly more than half of the [lesbians surveyed] reported that they had been abused by a female lover/partner." (G. Lie and S. Same-sex "marriage" doesn't just redefine who can be married, it's an attempt to redefine marriage itself. A new definition of monogamy that excludes fidelity, especially among gay males. In a 1984 study of 156 male couples in relationships lasting 1 to 37 years, researchers McWhirter and Mattison found that only seven couples had maintained sexual fidelity, and none of the exclusive couples had been together for more than five years. Let's talk about Divorce and the reason for it - granted to heterosexuals who could no longer get along. And, what about Domestic Violence laws and shelters? Uhm why are the laws and shelters in existence - because heterosexuals beat the crap out of the ones they've been known to love. Let's see monogamy - please just give me a break, another one of the adulterous reasons for divorce as a law. And, since we're on the subject - why do we have Adoption an adoption laws - because for whatever reason heterosexual couples and singles chose to not raise their children.

Aisha Tyler Hosts Women in Film, a Tribute

I have lots of loyal readers and subscribers, which absolutely adore Aisha Tyler and believe me I understand why! (and I Thank You!)

I have been scouring the internet blogs and entertainment sites in hopes of finding some really great shots of our star as she hosted the 'Women in Film' tribute last night in Hollywood.

Unfortunately, I really couldn't come up with any more than this --

The major focus was on of course the women who were being honored, some of the most creative, productive and socially responsible individuals in the film industry were celebrated; people who lead by example. I just can't believe it but then I can no air time was given to the Hostess with the Most-est! 1224 STYLE: TWELVE24GIRL

We were all grateful to Aisha for writing the article "Real Women, Real Bodies" and posing nude for the magazine in an effort to address the issues of dieting, eating disorders and body image.

"This is really like a 'stop the insanity' kind of piece that I wanted to do," she explains. "You want to have the strength to live your life and do the things that you want to do, and you can't do that if you're starving to death. Stop making yourselves crazy."

Aisha's message was to simply 'Love Your Bodies No Matter What The Size'.

Wow...all this stupidity over a tee shirt?

I guess Jessica is being irresponsible to her fans and the world?

Was Jessica ever an advocate for Peta - was she a spokesperson at one time?

I'm not sure let me know....I eat meat....and I wouldn't have a problem tossing this tee on too make a run to the grocery store. I advocate for child rights and child hunger. Launched a campaign against sexual predators and more more more.

4. Meat will make you fat. All the saturated fat and cholesterol in chicken wings, pork chops, and steak eventually leads to flabby thighs and love handles. I hope the upcoming "Jessica Simpson's Intimates" line comes in plus sizes! Going vegetarian is the best way to get slim and stay that way.

5. Eating meat steals food from starving kids. Jessica's trip to help kids in Africa got a lot of media buzz, but by gnawing on meat, she's essentially stealing food from the mouths of starving children since it takes up to 16 pounds of grain to produce just 1 pound of meat. If more people went vegetarian, we'd free up enough grain to feed every person in the world.

Grandma Jailed Over Beating Teen In Lesbian Clinch

(Reading, Pennsylvania) A 61-year old Reading woman is in jail awaiting trial for allegedly beating her granddaughter with a cane and a belt after finding the teen in bed with another girl.

Joyce Y. Beddell is charged with aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and endangering the welfare of a child.

She is being held in jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Police said that Beddell discovered her granddaughter in bed having sex with a neighborhood teen girl.

The neighboring teen ran when Beddell entered the room, according to police, and escaped the elder woman's wrath.

The granddaughter was not so lucky. Beddell allegedly took a cane and then a belt to the 16 year old. She then forcibly took the girl from the house.

Neighbors saw Beddell taking the limping granddaughter to the other girl's home where she informed that girl's parent of the affair.

Police say Beddell then took the 16-year home where she proceeded to beat her again.

The 16-year old suffered serious bruises to her buttocks and legs.

Police were called to the house to investigate a report of child abuse. It is not clear who filed the abuse report.

The teen is being treated in hospital for unspecified injuries the Reading Eagle reported.

Beddell told police that she had done nothing wrong, the paper reported, and said she should be allowed to discipline her granddaughter as she sees fit.

The gentleman pictured below was singing and celebrating the victories of our LGBT community and gay marriage, at City Hall. While strumming his guitar he dropped dead. Sad, huh?

Well check this out -- "One of the Christian protesters (pictured below) were chanting at his body - "Satan Got You!" "What is the Devil whispering in your ear about now?"

And these holier than thou Christians really do try & figure out why people do not participate in Christianity nor organized religion. I mean foreal where is the Love for thy brother and sister? I don't even know why I'm getting upset!

Beyonce sang, The National Athem

Okay, I guess it is sometimes better late than never?

I didn't know until a few minutes ago, that my girrl Beyonce had sang 'The National Athem'. And, as Randy Jackson once said "She Rocked It, She Worked It Out."

Beyonce sat next to Vice Chairman Joint Chief of Staff, General Peter Pace and he walked her to the stage. Pace was representing sailors soldiers airmen marines and coastguard men.

Just Listen, Beyonce sounds like a dove, it literally gave me the chills.

A Basic Introduction To Our Studys

The USA National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study (NLLFS) has been following lesbian mothers and their children, who were conceived by donor insemination (DI) during the lesbian baby boom of the 1980s. Initiated by Nanette Gartrell, MD, the NLLFS examines the social, psychological, and emotional development of the children as well as the dynamics of alternative families and children of LGBT parents. This is the longest-running and largest prospective investigation of lesbian moms and their children in the United States. This study is intended to generate information for specialists in healthcare, family services, sociology, feminist studies, education, ethics, gay marriage, and public policy on matters pertaining to LGBT families.

GAY WEDDING PRIEST QUITS

One of the two gay priests who got married in a controversial church ceremony, said to be the first gay church wedding in the UK, has resigned.

The Rev. David Lord and the Rev. Peter Cowell caused a media storm in the UK last week when it came to light that they had exchanged wedding rings and vows in a London church on 31 May.

While same-sex civil partnerships are legal in the UK, the Church of England does not allow or recognise same-sex marriage ceremonies or blessings within the Church.

(sometimes I really despise reading 'the church' 'the church'!)
