MyZani is a web company that works to give people better deals on the things they love. They work with companies and get discounts and in doing so give savings to people and in almost every case they also save a person more then they spend on their monthly membership. Another positive part of the business is the fact they give great incentives for telling other people about it in the forms of commissions on their monthly payments for as long as they are a member!

First impressions.

When we first started work on MyZani it was partially completed and some what haphazardly thrown together. We worked on the core code and put it back together. The core is Joomla with a custom coded backend written in PHP. Now the system is semi solid for a new businesses with budget restraints; we worked with them a lot.

The first part of the site we transformed was the “Backoffice” credit card purchase form. Generally speaking there was nothing wrong with it, but it obviously had some flaws. We worked closely with our client and built the desired interface with some added finesse in the style points area. The whole form is interactive and changes when the user clicks on different form options. Everything happening in real time without page reload which makes for a nice user experience.

We also worked on several other parts of the BackOffice to transform it into a uniformed attractive interface with meaningful functionality.

Most of this part of the site is where the users will be if they are affiliates and we wanted to offer a logical flow of information and a fluid interface for them to traverse.

Since our client is a new business we understood the desire to have things completed in a timely fashion. This means working out a problem going back to the client and fixing small issues. We never had a problem visiting our client and asking if this is what they were looking for. We want to get it right the first time and work out any issues they had.
