I can’t say enough about what a great couple Ernesto & May are. I have to admit that I have had more contact with Ernesto & May than most of my clients only because there was a lot of planning involved for their wedding. There were tons of emails and texting back and forth. They came to my house, we did interviews, a slideshow and engagement session and a bunch of other stuff and I got to know them pretty well. Ernie is from Spain and May from the Philippines. I got to meet their families and everyone had a blast on Saturday. All of the following videos were shown Saturday night to all the guests. May kept insisting that she did not want to cry at her wedding. I made it my mission on Saturday to make her cry and I think I achieved it : )

Their ceremony was held at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Burbank followed by their reception at The Castaway Restaurant in Burbank as well.

First up was a “love story” video. We wanted to show a little bit about their wedding planning and also a slideshow of pictures and talk about themeselves, etc.

Wow! What a beautiful day. The location was great. The weather was great. The couple were awesome. Couldn’t ask for a better set of conditions to take pictures and shoot some video - especially when the beach is a few footsteps away.

The ceremony and reception took place at the Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. This was actually the first time I shot there and I don’t mind going back again that’s for sure. A lot of great angles to shoot from and plenty of great locations to take pics.

Well guys, below is your highlight video followed by some nice pics. The song chosen for the video was “Innocence” by Avril Lavigne. Great song I thought that goes well with the mood of the day.

I don’t know where to start with Jaquie. She is so sweet. She booked us over a year ago and ever since then she crowned herself as my #1 fan. I guess ever since she booked us she was always reading this blog and keeping up to date with all the weddings we have done - all the while waiting patiently for her day to come. Needless to say I did not want to disappoint her!

I think overall we did a great job in covering her day. It was hard to choose which pics to put up - there are so many good ones that I liked. Below are some of my favorites.

Her ceremony took place at St. Pius V Church in Buena Park. Her reception took place at the Knotts Berry Farm Resort. This was the third time this year that we shot a wedding reception at this location. Very nice place. Definitely check it out if you are still looking for a venue for your reception.

Congrats guys! I hope your honeymoon was great. Your video will be coming shortly!

From seeing the recent posts on this blog one would wonder if we are only doing photography and no longer doing video. I can assure you we are! It’s just that the highlight video that I do sometimes takes longer to do and I like to get pics up as soon as possible after the wedding so the newlyweds have something to see and share with family and friends. I will post some recent videos soon!

Anyways…I think Stephanie and Jeff booked us more then a year ago. We actually covered the wedding of Stephanie’s brother a couple of years back - hence the recommendation. It was a hot, hot day but everyone made it through ok. The location was great. It all took place at the Edward Dean Museum & Garden in Cherry Valley, Ca. It’s kinda in the middle of nowhere but once you get into the grounds it is really beautiful. Lots of great scenery for video and photos.

I’ve been to Old Town many times and It’s amazing how different it looks through a camera. A lot of interesting spots and architecture to take pictures of for sure. Everyone knows that I usually handle the videography part of our business but I also love taking pictures when I have the time.

It was another busy weekend with two weddings on Saturday! More on the second wedding later.

First up is Kristen & Robert. They make a really great couple and especially dealing with Kristen who is really sweet. Their ceremony and reception was held at The Hacienda in Santa Ana, Ca.

This location is very dear to Veronica and I - it’s where we had OUR reception 6 years ago. I can honestly say that the place is still gorgeous, especially at night with all the twinkly lights all over the place. They recently expanded the restaurant and added a whole new area to have your ceremony. We had our ceremony across the street at a Church - (which is no longer there - and just walked across the street to The Hacienda. The staff is very organized and attentive to all your needs. A location to definitely put on your list. You can have your ceremony & reception in one beautiful location! Ask for Art.
