Blah, I’ve been super bad about updating this blog - so instead of trying to do three smaller entries, here’s one super blog with the highlights from last week!

Hand Shoot with Paul Kuroda

I was lucky enough to shoot with Paul Kuroda, a Pulitzer-prize winning photographer this past week for my new hand modeling portfolio.

Basically, we get to the mall (not knowing what to expect) and see this:

Ended up having to say hi to the audience, come up with a fake news story, andddd do a dance. At the end of my dance, the female host for the event was like “DAYUM, someone wants to get a BF here TODAY!” lol

I feel like I haven’t posted on my bloggy in FOREVER (probs because I haven’t ^^). Not to worry though, here is a quickie update on moi.

I’m still working on acting/modeling stuff - taking classes from the teacher of my old teacher (!). I also have a new SF agent (OMG) who was my first choice in SF agents - Tonry Talent. Mary Tonry is such a sweet woman, and a very saavy business woman to boot. I’m looking forward to having her rep me in the future As far as gigs go, I’ve been keeping busy submitting myself/being submitted to a variety of things. Here’s a quick still from a shoot I did for a new Discovery Channel show called “Life on the Lam”:

I’ve also been working on an informercial for Kymaro Bust-Up Cups. Look forward to seeing that!

On a completely DIFFERENT note, I’ve also been watching The Dollhouse on Hulu and I got to say that while Eliza Dushku of Buffy fame was rather non-stellar in the first episode, “Ghost,” the second episode, “The Target” was pretty awesome. We end up getting to see Echo (Eliza) man-hunted by a psycho-path with one quote: “Keep your shoulder to the wheel.” Confusing? Yes. But the acting was SO MUCH BETTER!

Also, acccording to Wikipedia: ” The premiere episode of Dollhouse helped FOX double its viewership levels among women versus Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and helped the network finish in second place among adults 18-34 and in first place across key male demographic for the night.[35]”

The scenes between the young children were especially touching - they are so young, yet fully capable of acting out the terror (and hilarity) that happens in the characters’ stories.

It inspires me.

I can’t help but that that we ARE the architects to our future. We design the blueprints, buy the materials and forge the designs that make our lives, constantly adding new pieces and parts and wishing for only the best possible outcome and becoming wonderfully surprised at new developments.

Thank goodness, I not only had my glamazon hottie friend, Hueiyen, with me, but the photographer, Molly Hawkey, was such a dear!

Anyhoodle, here’s the lovely view from our room in Glendale:

And here’s cute Hueihuei getting all fussed over and getting her very first headshots taken! (such a PRO)

We ended up getting hollered at a few times and changed in the car. All in all, a fun-filled weekend. Oh and we got to eat at HONEY’S KETTLE!!!
