Position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of trucks and the catching machine for the Live Haul Department.

DUTIES

1.&amp;amp;nbsp; Operates Live Haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.&amp;amp;nbsp;2. Operates catching machine at contract grower locations in a safe and efficient manner. 3.&amp;amp;nbsp; Performs equipment inspections in accordance with company guidelines and equipment operating instructions.&amp;amp;nbsp; 4.&amp;amp;nbsp; Reports all problems to the Supervisor. 5. Performs minor maintenance on equipment as directed. 6. Assists in hand catching as required. 7.&amp;amp;nbsp; Assists in the loading of trucks as required. 8.&amp;amp;nbsp; Assists with truck tarping according to established guidelines during periods of inclement weather. 9.&amp;amp;nbsp; Assists with monitoring barn conditions, ventilation, and bird conditions during vatching and reports problem areas to the Supervisor. 10.&amp;amp;nbsp; Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

*Working knowledge of driving and traffic rules. *Appropriate skill to drive a truck safely. *Working ability to climb structures 14 feet high. *Some mechanical skill. *Working ability to catch chickens and place them into modules. *Considerable ability to lift up to 50 lbs. *Considerable ability to work under dusty adverse conditions. *Valid Class A drivers license and acceptable driving record according to company policy required. *Possession of single, valid operators license with appropriate vehicle classification for operators state of residence; no incidents in prior 36 months in which the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol or non-prescription drugs;no incidents in prior 36 months of reckless/careless driving;no major driving violations.&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/GoldnPlumpPoultry-Jobs/~4/2Fu2AJxYqAI" height="1" width="1"/&gt;</description>
