Ostern steht bald vor der Tür und so freue ich mich nicht nur auf die Geburt meiner Tochter, sondern auch auf ein kleines Frühlingserwachen in unserer Altbauwohnung. In Kooperation mit AmbienteDirect, der absolut besten Quelle für Designmöbel & Accessoires im skandinavischen Stil, habe ich eine kleine Oster-Leseecke mit meinen Lieblings-Designerstücken eingerichtet. Im StyleMag, dem Magazin des Online-Shops, teile ich die Entwicklung vom Moodboard bis zur fertigen Dekoration und hoffe, Euch mit dem Artikel ein wenig inspirieren zu können und Eure Vorfreude auf Ostern zu steigern. Point-Rouge x Coachella x Golestaneh Part III

Part III:

The outfits were very uniform, you could spot a lot of lace tops, fringes, gladiator sandals and of course denim shorts in all variations. Floral and lace dresses paired with denim jackets or fringe vests and boots, everything boho was allowed. A gigantic squad of hippie soldiers moving from one point to another uncoordinated, but not uncontrolled.

Whatever, I was surprised that everything logistic actually worked so well, specially with finding the right parking place. Our initial disorientation caused by Mr E was gone on the following days and we were no longer afraid to split. On the last day the boys went to watch Weekend while us girls remained at the main stage for Florence And The Machine. The absolute highlight happened at the end of Drake's show when suddenly Madonna appeared on stage and - it's Madonna! - kissed little Draky Drake. Of course I took a pic!

All in all, my friends and I had a lot of fun. But if I should ever come again I would stay at least one week to see more of the beautiful landscape of California and specially more from LA than the airport.

Point-Rouge x Coachella x Golestaneh Part II

Part II:

You know the feeling when you wake up from a nice dream and you try to fall asleep again so the dream continues, but it doesn't work, you are awake. That's how I feel right now.

Coachella is over, I'm back home. It was such a great experience and point-rouge.de made it possible. A dream came true - many thanks.

Well, what to tell about the most famous festival? It's huge! Unfortunately you can't make it everywhere, you lose the people you are with very quickly and the wifi does not work very well, that's why we spent most of the time in the VIP area next to the main stage, which was also very big. But we had a great meeting point, the burger stand, you wouldn't starve while waiting.

The location was fantastic, palm trees, beautiful blue sky, sun and a brisk wind from time to time. Loads of good looking people passing by like express trains. Here and there you could spot a celebrity, mainly beautiful models. Surrounded by all of these prettiness you were fine just sitting around, watching the crowd and listening to the music.

Point-Rouge x Coachella x Golestaneh Part I

Part I:

The best thing in working with brands you like is when you also like the people who stand behind it! When I met Linda and Michi from point-rouge.de at Munich airport for a little briefing for our trip it felt like meeting friends not strangers. This is actually the best part of my job as blogger, to get to know many great, talented, ambitious and open minded people. And it's always nice when business feels like fun, then you forget the hard work behind.

Our first day was filled with different side parties. My partners in crime, Julien Boudet from bleumode and Emanuele from livincool, Heda and I started with the Galore Mag Party where Leonardo Di Caprio and a lot of beautiful models ran around, changed to a private pool party somewhere in the desert and ended up at the Interview Mag and the Nylon Mag party which where located next to each other, so we were able to switch very quickly. It was just great and we had a lot of fun.

Break On Through To The Other Side

You've got mail… I stared at the blurry letters for a while and tried to put together a complete sentence… 'Invited to Coachella'… - Those who know me can hear me screaming loud, no I'm Persian, so very very loud! A minute later I thought, oh no it's 1st of April, that must have been an Aprils Fool's joke, but lucky me it wasn't!

Now I'm here waiting for my flight to Los Angeles, to the other side of the world! Excited? Hell, yesss! Who invited? POINT-ROUGE.DE, a wonderful online store with carefully selected and trendy beauty products from YSL, Chloé, Gucci, Estée Lauder, Clarins and Co. just to name a few. Could it get better? A bit! As I will be out and about to report live from this legendary festival, I will get access to all areas with my VIP ticket. Time to freak out? OF COURSE!!!

The Woodberry Festival

The Woodberry Festival von golestaneh, Burberry enthaltend

It all began with an e-mail from Polyvore asking me to attend the Burberry Fashion Show in London and ended up with a bunch of pics, thoughts and stories I would so love to share with you in every single detail. Although I am short of time I'll try to give you at least an insight of my first impressions of the runway show itself.

When a genius is at work every single detail of every single thing happening stands to reason. So it was at the Burberry show, which I would like to call 'The Woodberry Festival'.

Starting with the invitation and its design that reminded me of a summer festival flyer - an exclusive one of course - right through to the live music by James Bay playing on his acoustic guitar and his rocking voice and the beautiful location that was built as a glass dome and plastered with colourful but translucent prints of flowers, birds and bees in the colours and prints of the collection, it all felt like a homogeneous unity. Even the faces of Burberry's current fragrance campaign, the queen and the princess of rock, Kate and Cara, perfectly fitted in this easygoing festival feeling.

The show began with James Bay's song 'Clocks go forward' and fresh light coloured looks. A sun yellow sequin skirt 'gold' shimmering (Look1) followed by a pale pink pleated dress (Look7) you would love to wear to a summer date with a boy you fell in love with on your first date at the Woodberry Festival… Birds chippering, the sun shining and the 'honeylovers' lying on the 'grassfields' looking up in the burberry printed sky, holding hands while he wispers 'close your eyes, let time fly, stay close, stay right here, nothing to fear'. And all of a sudden the colours of the collection turned into passionate red, burgundy and purple, as the couple fell in love. See-through dresses floated over the catwalk and made us dream of a hot summer night, at least me.

As excited as you would be on such a first date, I was when I heard that I would be invited to see the show live. I couldn't even sleep the night before.

The show continued with Bay's second song 'When we were on fire' and as the title says it made the lovers want to stand up and party with the whole crowd that was invited. A fancy futuristic printed party dress popped up in happy green and yellow with patent-leather bustier and sheer shoulder parts (look 24) while another dip dye transparent purple dress (Look 33) sprayed an authentic hippie flair. A vibrant green dip dye pleated one (Look 35) caught my eyes and, energized by all of the easy beezy atmosphere, I actually had to stand up, not to party but to take better pics. (You can see me on the youtube video, on the right side almost at the end of the runway with a beige fedora, dressed in all white jumping up and down with my cam hooked to my face, around minute 9:25). Important to add: you couldn't spot any heels at all, just comfy colourful Bur-kenstocks and sneakers you would choose to wear for a long summer open air party.

I could write all night long, but I have to come to an end. The entire show left no 'scars' but loads of satisfaction. Thanks to Burberry for the opportunity to experience a show designed and organised by such professionals. And thanks to Polyvore for choosing me out of millions to be the community correspondent. And this is what I wore for the Topshop Unique Fashion Show in London yesterday. Ganni teddy coat, Stella McCartney men's pants, Saint Laurent Tribute sandals and Moujik bag and a fedora from my own store, all in different shades of pale pink/blush/nude whatever.
