This is a pretty good golf club for players that can't get the ball in the air. It just wasn't good for my swing. I would hit the ball extremely high and if you are in windy conditions; it will be a struggle to get a consistent outcome. It is an okay club other then the fact that the ball goes straight up in the air. I play a lot of courses in the area of Lake Michigan so I have to be careful how high I hit it due to the wind. I sold the R9 460 and bought a 909D3 8.5* and it is easy to hit the ball high if needed and is just as easy to keep the ball down in the wind.

First of all, this R9 460 TP golf club only has 40yds of adjustability. no weights. it's all done by taking the shaft out and reinserting in a different position which are marked. The head is 460cc, the face is deep, not that wide, the back is huge and shaped like a triangle. It has a good look, not distracting at all. The shaft is red metallic and the top near the grip is white. It's easy to adjust by removing and reinstalling the shaft. Now for the review. I left it in neutral and tried a few hits. At the range i knocked all my shots straight as an arrow. Mine was 10.5 degree and the shots do go high and long, face feels really springy. On the course i had a more difficult time. Hitting mainly slight fades which were off the fairway a good 5yds but nothing too bad. I nailed a few drives straight as an arrow. Just need to get used to it. One thing i noticed is the matrix hd6 shaft feels great, nice and smooth, not boardy. I thought it would feel stiffer with that attachment on the tip, but nope, feels great. I'm going to try the half/left position to see if i can straighten out my fade a little. But like i said the face looks maybe 1 degree closed at the neutral position and does go straight when hit well. Even when hit on heel and toe, distance was decent. Sound wasn't distracting either. All in all a great club, can't wait to hit the range and try the different settings.
