But lately we’re experimenting with different brands of shampoos because we always seem to end up with brands that make our heads itch or something.

They sure don’t make shampoo like they used to. Or is it the water? Just looking for something to blame here .

But there’s one thing we can all look forward to and personally, it’s those christmas photo cards that make the holiday season that much more personal.

These days with photo-taking being a daily activity (almost), there are no more excuses not to be able to come up with a personable family photo, which used to be my excuse. I don’t think I’ll be able to get away with this excuse any more .

Now that’s what I call service. But while a reminder really helps, sometimes they catch me at the wrong time like when I’m driving and I have to fish inside my handbag for my cell phone and that really irritates the heck out of me!

Okay, on second thought, I do appreciate the call. I wonder if they provide equally good service for the return of premium life insurance and general inquiries where people are likely to need more detailed assistance. If they do, then it’s great!

Now those trinkets are hanging proudly on their backpacks. I hope I haven’t started a new craze of collecting trinkets which didn’t use to cost very much. But since they’re so popular with teens these days, they’re priced more like collectors’ items. Duh!

Truth be told, I miss those things too but right now, we are all so busy with different schedules of school and work that it’s hard to plan a synchronized trip.

But still it might be worthwhile just checking out the hotel rates and see if we can work around our schedules and find a time to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The old folks themselves say that just walking the length of the mall is their exercise for the day. When they get tired, they stop and rest at the benches scattered throughout the mall. In fact, some of them know these malls like the backs of their hands. If you ask them where some obscure implant dentist Plano is, they’ll be able to point it out to you. Yes, that’s how well they know the layout of the malls.

I can’t say whether the mall provides real exercise but I know it’s a great place for old folks to hang out and stay active.

It takes something like that to get us thinking about how well equipped public places like malls are with medical equipment. Sure, malls are supposed to be places where people go to shop, eat and have a good weekend and so we don’t often think about what if there’s an emergency and someone needs help. Have anyone ever thought about this, you think?

So I ended up carting home a whole lot, and I mean a lot, of breads and cakes. It’s a good thing I don’t go on these sugar binges often otherwise I’d doing nothing but diet pill comparisons all year round, heh!

Right now, I think we’re about done with our sugar quota for the year. Or are we? Wait, there’s Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up. Duh !

But we did settle into a nice little outdoor restaurant for an exotic meal. The food was pretty good albeit much too oily. The ambience was rustic and very nice though as we got to sit outside at a wooden table under a big umbrella.

The wooden table reminded me the crickety classroom furniture at school with big gaps between the wooden table top. Only problem with those big cracks is that I first dropped my knife through it. The waiter handed me another knife.

Then not long afterwards, my fork fell through it and they had to get me another. Quite embarrassing though it wasn’t really my fault that the crack was big enough for stuff to fall through.

Guess what? The bakery was having a 40% sale on everything! OMG, it’s almost unheard of. A bake sale !! Not to be left out, the shopaholic in me quickly went to check out all the cakes and breads.

Result, I left with a fresh fruit cake and tons of bread, rolls, muffins, raisin loaves, … gosh, and I should probably have stopped to check out what the best diet pills are too!
