Outdoor Ping Pong Table

Thanks to Susan Sarandon who single handedly made Ping Pong a cool sport once again, I started to look for a table for the family. Dilemma is we do not have enough space.

Umbra has the nifty ping pong net that goes on any table. However, I really do not want my 7yr old to be swinging the paddle around our dinning table. Plus, it is more of a novelty item.

Growing up in Hong Kong, we take ping pong very seriously. I have never been as good as my brother or cousins, but I can definitely play vs my husband and friends.

The other choice is to get the fold up table and wheel it in a corner in the basement and drag it out every time. Reality check, it will stay in the corner and eventually be listed on Craig’s list as no one would bother to take it out.

Then during our visit to the Cottage sho , I came across an OUTDOOR ping pong table by Cornilleau. ( BTW – Tom at Gilchrist was so helpful!)
