It’s true that some of the outdoor locations looked real, there was a scene where Agent Dunham has to race through South Station and the architecture felt much more magnificent than the original station. It felt so real because majority of us went there before. Not sure about the Harvard campus though. But of course, we all know that the drama would never be based in Boston itself.
Local TV has just shown Episode 13, The Transformation. So far, I’m following quite faithfully to it.

I miss the T, sort of, before it reaches the station Government Centre and the screeching starts.

The most eventful place. Ever.
We shopped. We visited the Museum of Science nearby. We walked to Charles River from there.
We shopped some more.
There’s Macy’s, GAP, Old Navy, Banana Republic, Apple, A&F, etc. Don’t you just love the place.

Wonderland.
Reminds me of the manga, Deadman Wonderland. Sadistic manga, but the jail concept is great.
Anyways, I didn’t explore that place, so I can’t say much.

Ice- cream! There wasn’t anyone in the van, so we didn’t get any.

Rants.
I’m not following Fall’s anime except for those which are currently continuing from Summer.
Absolutely, entirely.
The connection’s lost.
But manga is a must for me.
So is Jdorama. Summer’s season was a huge disappointment, except for Ninkyo Helpe. I was watching halfheartedly for the rest, can’t believe I actually finished Maid Deka and was hoping that something interesting would happen. Unfortunately, it didn’t.
Oh well. Nope, Buzzer Beat is not under the genre I’ll watch. I hardly watch sports, Rookies doesn’t count.

Following closely to these four right now.

Tokyo Dogs. Downloaded from the site’s gallery, find this scene cute and funny as always(it was featured in episode 3). Check out the scene where Oguri Shun has to repeat his order numerous times at a restaurant, LOL!
Plot is simple and used often in dramas. It’s about two cops, one serious, the other hot-tempered and doesn’t fit in well with the police force. Pair them up together, you get tension and frequent disagreements.
Seen such characters too often? Yup, me too.
But what’s interesting is that Oguri Shun(love the haircut) is portraying the serious cop who was ‘kicked out’ from the FBI and we have Hiro Mizushima as the comedic cop who wants a little more attention from women.
To add on, Oguri Shun has to be both serious and emotional at the same time. Something to look out for.
Hiro Mizushima is good, I enjoy seeing him as a joker more often than being cool-headed.
To add on, the side characters are interesting and there’s a focal point in this drama. A girl who suffers from short-term amnesia whom is heavily linked to what the 2 cops are searching for, and there’s the usual daily investigations they have to crack.
I’ve explained quite a lot on this, haha.

ROMES
Concept is new; in this drama, ROMES is integrated into Tokyo Bay International Airport security system. Largely based on terrorism and an expert team tackling their attacks.
There are still many mysteries to unlock and you can see different loopholes in the ROMES system(if that’s good, everyone would escape by the sea or land). It’s quite frictional right now, but you’ll never know if such security system will exist in the near future.
There’s Okura Tadayoshi from Kanjani8. His character is quirky but the moment he sees Haru, the canine, he goes to fan-mode. Haha, cute.
Terrorists come from all shapes and sizes, but the chinese- speaking female terrorist is funny.

Shinya Shokudo also know as 深夜食堂, adapted from manga.
I like this drama because it features food.
Ok, and also how different customers will walk into this master’s restaurant(which operates after midnight) to order any food not related to the menu and relate their life experiences.
Customers from all walks of life, I like such storyline.

Bocho Mania 09
I follow closely because Mukai Osamu is in it.
Serious.
Similar to Shinya Shokudo, this setting is a courtroom where Osamu san’s character sits in as an audience and listens to each case brought out.
You get to look at all kinds of cases and struggle to decide whether the accused should be convicted of his/her crime. So that means you get to watch two different sides of the trail. This is something not always touched upon.
Only three main characters, and each episode explains a different trail. It’s obvious I’m looking out for Mukai Osamu only.

Gintama movie. The youtube version is taken from one of the episodes where at that time everyone was still speculating if the movie was official, but the website shows the same trailer. So yay, it’s real.
It’ll be released by Warner Brothers, interesting.
Ya, now Gintama is on the same level as Bleach, Naruto and One Piece with its movie adaptation.

Afterthoughts. This post is just rants, normally occur after watching an anime.
182 is interesting, at least better than the previous character countdown episodes, which featured nothing but quotes and Baka prince intro.
This time, we get to see the characters despondent about their rankings, Shinpachi stays the same but Yamazaki has fallen. Oh, the sadness, but I’m pretty comfortable with their positions. Shinpachi should be glad he’s still at 8.
And the introduction of new characters have altered the rankings entirely, actually from position 9 onwards.
LMAO. Literally.

The staff even changed the rankings after Tae finished off Sorachi san during ED. So from 16, she has risen to position 15.
Women are scary.
I love filler episodes.
Heard about Gintama’s movie, I understand the Benizakura arc introduced nearly all the characters from both Kiheitai and Joi fighting section, but I’m not sure if new fans will appreciate it. Oh well, at least it’s a movie.

Yep, just knew about the Gokusen movie screening here, from Ah Neo(thanks!) and Kino’s newsletter. I’m just thrilled to know.

I’m not a huge fan of Kat-tun, but it looks good.
