In case anyone would like a look at what's inside of Mass Income Multiplier before purchasing, I thought I would write a quick review. Hopefully I can present the good, the bad and the ugly and help you make an informed decision about whether this is for you.

I actually purchased this web based software 3 days ago. I'll admit that I plunked my money down with a little bit of fear and trembling, hoping it was something that would do what it said it would, but a little afraid I was going to be disappointed. Much to my surprise and delight, this little gem of a program does everything it said it would do and even more. For the first time in a long time, I felt like I spent my money on something that wasn't a rip off and didn't take a degree in rocket science to figure out. I had my first site set up in less than 40 minutes - and I'm a soon-to-be 65 year old grandmother. (That included the 30 minutes it took me to read up on how to do it. Incidentally, I highly recommend that you take the time to do that.)

After setting up a few templates, which is a very good thing to do, I can now build a site in about 1 minute, then share it on Facebook and Twitter which takes another couple of minutes. All of these sites I'm building are populated with my clickbank or other affiliate links that belong to me. I can use the sites to earn money, get backlinks to my other sites, and to build a list to connect to my own autoresponder or to the internal mailing option within the program. A very positive thing is that there is just a one time payment for now. There is talk that in the future there will be a monthly charge but those who get it now will be exempt from that. In other words, get it now!

That was the good. Now for the bad. I don't really have much bad to say. What I paid limits me to building 3 sites a day. There is an upgrade option for now to be able to build an unlimited number. If you are interested in having a lot of virtual real estate, you may want the unlimited option which costs more. There is also an upgrade to get their "hot" suggestions on a daily basis. What I've seen so far doesn't particularly impress me and I'm a little sorry I took that option. But I could be wrong - after all, it has only been 3 days! I'm willing to give it a little more time before I pronounce the final verdict. So far most of the suggestions are not things I would like to use to build a site, but that may be because I'm a grandmother. The nice thing about the suggestions is that you can make a web page in less than the blink of an eye just by clicking a link in the email you get on a daily basis. Powerful stuff!

It would be well worth your while to take some time to research some profitable niches but you can use the software to build landing pages or lead capture pages for whatever niches you are already interested in. I found that I'm not too anxious to share some of my landing pages on Facebook since I primarily hang out there with family and friends, most of whom wouldn't be interested in what I'm promoting anyway. However, I have shared some things there with surprisingly positive response.

The ugly...hmm...can't think of a thing! Except that I'm having so much fun that I'm not getting anything else done! Also, I haven't had any sales in my clickbank account YET so maybe it takes more than just 8 or 9 pages to accomplish that. Well, I guess for sure it does. So I'll keep plugging away at putting up 3 more sites each day and I'll let you know what happens.

BTW, this software is primarily for those who are interested in earning income through affiliate marketing (marketing the products of others). For someone like me, that's exactly what I'd like to be doing. And the sky is the limit as far as the software is concerned. You are not limited to just using products from clickbank. You can use adsense, Amazon, or other affiliate networks. It's completely up to you.

If I were you, I would run, not walk, to the site (by clicking on the title of this post or anywhere else that is highlighted) and get this amazing software before they start charging a monthly fee for it. Of course, you know that if you do, I may possibly earn some money - just letting you know so I'm compliant with the rules of internet marketing! :)

Wisdom Tip on Focus of Your Life

This is a re-post of the post I just wrote this morning for my Grandma Is A Writer blog. Hope you enjoy it and that it gives you a wisdom insight.

I've been reading Stephen R. Covey's book, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" and it has been giving me plenty of food for thought. In fact, after reading a few pages the other day about identifying your "center" in the chapter titled, "Begin with the End in Mind," it really got me thinking! What is my center? And even more importantly, how does focusing on the wrong thing or things impact my life and the lives of those around me?

I think I can honestly say that for the greater part of my life, Christ has been my center of focus. But there have been times when I have allowed other things to creep into that central position. I'm sure there have been times when I've allowed a particular person (usually a perceived enemy), money, possessions, physical location, the opinions of others, jealousy, my family, work, etc to occupy that center of focus. It's a subtle thing! And when it happens decisions are made that are later regretted, time is lost that could have been used in much more productive and helpful pursuits and life even at times seems to fall into general disarray.

So I'm thankful when God allows something to come into my life that jerks my focus back onto Jesus Christ, the living Word of God. Life just seems to make a whole lot more sense that way!

An Olympic Champion Marketer?

Today is the beginning of the Winter Olympic games and although we don't have TV and won't be seeing much of the games, we'll follow the highlights via the internet news.

But it got me thinking...

Am I an olympic champion internet marketer? And just as important - are you?

What is necessary to turn us into olympic champion marketers? I have a few ideas, but I'd welcome yours too. So feel free to comment...

So lets look at some characteristics that might help us become "Olympic Champion" marketers:

1) Champions have the ability to focus on the goal and never give up. That may be one of the most important characteristics to success in any field of endeavor. It assumes that we know what the goal is and that we're willing to focus on it to the exclusion of distractions and rabbit trails. I must admit, I haven't been very successful at this, but I'm trying to get better. One thing that helps me is to write down about 2 or 3 primary goals for the day before I get started. That helps me focus on doing the things that really count and that will take me a step closer to my goal. FYI my primary goal is to earn enough online to enable us to get out of debt. (Why are we in debt in the first place? Ummmm...don't even ask!)

2) Champions are willing to learn skills and push themselves beyond what they think their limits are. For each one of us that will mean something a little bit different. For an olympic champion it may mean practicing 15 minutes a day longer than anyone else. For a marketer it may mean learning html code when you're beyond the age you thought you could learn such new and complicated things.

3) Champions are willing to take risks. We saw that so clearly in the Superbowl when the New Orleans coach made some pretty daring and risky calls. He seemed to understand that ultimate risks were required to win the ultimate game (at least for NFL Football, anyway)! And I'm sure we'll see LOTS of risk-taking during the Winter Olympics. For those of us who are marketers, it may mean taking a risk on a new piece of software or a technique that looks like it may result in big payoffs. I don't mean that we should be stupid and jump on every bandwagon that comes along. We still need to do our research and be analytical, but occasionally something comes along that is so obviously a risk worth taking, that we should take it. I've gotten stuck on both ends of this - taking a risk on both "duds" and "diamonds" and I think we can all agree that taking a risk doesn't necessarily mean the outcome is always good.

4) Champions spend lots of time practicing the things that will take them farthest - and being willing to do it over and over and over. I can imagine that if an athlete is able to identify a weak area that needs to be perfected, he will spend a great deal of time practicing and perfecting that specific skill. So will marketers. Do we hate writing and submitting articles? If so, we either need to find another strategy to accomplish the same thing or hire someone else to write the articles or just grit our teeth and write articles. Not too difficult to figure out but the advantage we have over athletes is that we can work around our weak areas and still come out ahead.

5) Champions give just a little bit more. Notice I didn't say "take." They give and that's what olympic champion marketers need to do too. We need to have the "give" mentality instead of the "take" mentality. As marketers, we should always be giving more value than our partner or client on the other end is expecting. Olympic champions do just that! They give it their all and hold nothing back.

Importance of a Unique Product or Service

Today I’d like to explore a factor that is very important when evaluating a business opportunity. Is the product the company is offering truly unique?

How can you evaluate this? First of all, and especially if it is a nutritional product or other physical product, you can check to see if it has a patent. If it does, or even if it has a patent pending, it is less likely that there will be a multitude of copycat products flooding the market. Just as an example, when acai first hit the US market, it represented a good opportunity. However, because it was a product based on a fruit and it couldn’t be patented, after a short time many, many products came unto the market claiming to be the best acai. As a result, a company based on the uniqueness of acai is no longer a very good option. It is no longer truly unique.

If a product has a patent, you can be assured that it has been proven to be unique and it will probably represent a long lasting opportunity. There are also services that can be unique. Whenever there is a problem that needs to be solved and someone comes up with a solution that is better than previous solutions an opportunity is created. Getting into a market when that solution is new and before copycats have glutted the market can be a very good opportunity.

Occasionally something comes along that is so unique and so important that it presents an extraordinary opportunity. Most of us hope that we will be in the right place and the right time when that opportunity comes along.

Choosing a Home Business

Choosing a business, especially a home business can be a process that is filled with landmines. I know, I've stepped on a few myself. So how do we determine what constitutes a really good home business opportunity?

I've identified a few of the factors you may want to consider. I'm sure there are probably more, but these will help you avoid some of the common landmines and perhaps save you much money and grief. It's my hope that these tips will also direct you to a good home business that will be a source of wealth for you and your family.

1. Is the product or service something unique that isn't already available in multiple places? Wouldn't we all like to get in on something like this...fortunately due to creativity and the ability to build upon previous technology, science and experience, opportunities like this still do come around occasionally.

2. Is there demand for the product or service offered by the home business you're considering? There is no point in having something unique if the market for it is too small or too specialized. New technology or new discoveries are often in high demand. Another consideration is whether the people who will want this product or service have the money to spend on it.

3. Is the company behind the product or service backed by solid leadership with a proven track record? This may not seem very important in the grand scheme of things, but I personally have seen many people lose their entire income stream because of the lack of integrity of leadership. In most cases the company folds or goes through a serious down turn when leadership isn't solid and/or isn't in agreement or lacks integrity and changes rules at their own whim.

4. Is the company in a good place in its growth cycle? A company that is 2 or 3 years old is a much better risk than one that is in "start up" phase of less than 2 years old. Statistics show that the vast majority of companies go belly up during that initial "start up" phase. If you want to take advantage of your home business opportunity for a long time to come, this is an important factor.

5. Is the company at the beginning of the momentum phase of its growth? If all of the other criteria are in place, but the company has already passed the momentum phase and is a household name, the opportunity for significant growth and income is definitely more limited than with a company in the initial stages of momentum. You can ride that momentum phase to the top and become wealthy as a result.

6. Is the start up cost reasonable? Reasonable is probably different for each of us, but I would be wary of a product or service that is inflated in its initial investment requirements simply to justify an inflated compensation plan.

7. Is the marketing of the product done in such a way that anyone could do it? Can it easily be duplicated? This is an important consideration especially when you factor in how much time you have (or don’t) to dedicate to finding customers. A system that you can follow will make your job so much easier, especially if you’re new at running your own business. If you’re contemplating a network marketing business, it’s essential to having a marketing system that works is essential.

I'm sure there are probably other factors, but analyzing these will give you a much better way to evaluate a decision than the average person who may not take the time to do their research before jumping onto a home business opportunity.

Monetizing Social Media

Monetizing social media is one of the hot topics on the net these days, especially with the phenomenal growth of Twitter and the changes made by Facebook not too long ago. Yesterday I came across some information that will change the way I do business and perhaps will change the way you do yours.

I came across this report by Perry Belcher who has been a student of social media marketing for the past year. He is giving away some very valuable information about how to monetize social media. Obviously he also wants as many people as possible on his webinar tomorrow (July 22, 2009) but even the stuff he is giving away is so good it is sure to be helpful to you. Are You Doing Niche Marketing?

How is your niche marketing going? I wanted to tell you about a few remarkable tools that will enable you to find the best keywords quickly and get positioned on the first page of google equally quickly. These tools will enable you to find out whether your niche is going to be a profitable one even before you get started. The best keyword tool I've seen is Market Samurai. I've tried several different ones but this one is absolutely the best - hands down. And don't worry, I'm not getting any affiliate commission for saying this!

Once you've decided upon a niche, my recommendation is that you use this blogging platform to build your niche out. For several of my niches, I was on the first page of google search for at least one of my keywords within a couple of weeks. Even I was amazed! And the traffic to those sites has steadily increased.

If all of this is absolute greek to you, you may want to start everything by going through this year's Thirty Day Challenge. This is the best FREE information available on the internet in my opinion. It's a big challenge to keep up with all the assignments, but by the time you're done, you will have all the tools and knowledge you need to make money on the internet.

So, let's get started. Find profitable niches by first thinking about your hobbies, what you like to do, what you're interested in, etc. Then plug those things into Market Samurai and you're on your way.
