Then the Betta is paint with a silver paint to the fins and tail just to add a little more pattern to the sculpture.

Once the paint is completely dry the Betta is attached to a stand with decorated water grass and stone just to add more life to the sculpture. The grass is also made out of air dry clay then painted with acrylic paint.

A black color base is added to the model and to make it more interesting gold dust is added to it too.

This is another creation of mine - the Betta fish clay sculpture made of air dry clay, when I was younger I use to keep Betta fish as my hobbies , this fish are really easy to keep and fun and interesting it. I like the betta fish cause it can change color according to mood, but let do get too much into that basically I start sculpting this fish because the form of the fish is very interesting it give the feel of movement, while modeling it I also do a couple of google around to study more about this particular species.

I start up with a basic shape then add on the fins and tail and more details are added accordingly..

破军 - Sculpture from a Hong Kong comic "风云"

I just finish my fourth sculpture, this time I'm sculpting a character from the comic "Storm Riders" or in chinese title - "风云" drawn by a famous Hong Kong comic artist - Mr Ma Wing Shing. This charactor that I made were one of the villain, he is "破军"

Now he is a bald man I build it with a stiff wired as the inner armature, a strong armature will hold the heavy clay, I nail the armature to a piece of ply wood.

Front View - if you notice there are no fingers, I will build it in a later stage, as I will brake those hands if not careful. hahaha...

A close up view of him..he got a squarish face.

He is then paint with acrylic paint, I also build the hair as well....

View from the bottom - After a couple of struggle I made up my mind, he need to change hair style in order to look closer to the actual character.

I finally manage to make him a better hair style..hehehe - This is the final art piece for my fourth sculpture hope you will like it. more picture below..

Stuff like skull of it's prey are build hanging around the predator's belt..Some piece of "leather" are attached to it's waist.I guess it would be nice...and since predator are mostly hunters, they are little like the primitive culture in the woods..

This is a new hair style for the beast ..

Hopefully the beast is not tired while open it's mouth for such a long period of time..

I guess this maybe one of the predator's new weapon...

I guess you are trying to figure out what will the attached wired will be....is up to your guessing...

The leg muscle are form as well, it took me some time to build it, many reference are needed.

My predator does stand on wood..hahaha just joking, I guess the main support are from the wired skeleton which I have used as the main structure of the whole sculpture.

Yup, this picture is actually taken in front of my computer...

As you will notice the Femur and the Ilium is slowly being form, the muscle is well attach from the Pubis to the Patella...

From this ankle it is very clear that the upper torso with all the major muscle are build.

Now you can see clearly how my predator is gonna pose.

The Pectoralis Major is build, you will notice it on this side of your view.

I just started to build the arm of my predator, checking the on the entire sculpture in proper scale.

My predator sculpture Stage 01

The below picture taken on 3/09/09, I was just spending my free time surfing the net where I found some nice clips in youtube, where I come across some interesting scene from Predator, that is where I started to sculpt this sculpture below. hope you will like it.

I started with the predator head, it took me around 2 Hours to sculpt the head, as you can see the body was in a skinny wired form which I nail it on a piece of wood where previously lying in my garden. while bending the skeleton of the sculpture I have a couple of cuts because these wired are stiff. I roughly measure the head with the skeleton just to get approximate idea of how tall my sculpture will be.then I paste some clay on the wired to form the body, if was fun making sculpture. I like sculpting since I was in secondary school.

As you can see this is the front view of my predator , it looks a bit blurry guess I took this picture too close..where I don have a professional camera to shot a nice close up shots... hope you guys accept this picture hohoho...

This will be the back view of my predator sculpture, it seem the head is gonna be a little too small..

I created the character with white clay, the inner spine is made with wire and paper, the character can stand on it's own with out any support. though you will see the clay scuplture is uncomplete the will be much refine work to be done soon .
