Flatland bmx is very intense and demands huge levels of patience . Sometimes its even harder to perform on demand or in front of a camera. As riders we all have spent hours and hours trying to pull our hardest tricks. Start-fail-restart-fail -restart and so on. During this time a game of persistense and giving up goes on in our head. This is the process of "The Humbling". In the end you either end up victorious or not. As I was filming George I was impressed by his drive , persistense and mildness of his riding and character. The colouring in this vid depicts exactly what my impression of his riding is . Mystic . Στις 2/12/12 τη νύχτα το αεράκι που μας φυσούσε στο πάρκο της Γλυφάδας ήταν σαν να μας μιλούσε να κατευθυνθούμε προς την Βουλιαγμένη !

Αυτό που αντικρίσαμε ήταν όνειρο , καλοστημένες γραμμές κυμάτων με offshore άνεμο κοντά στο 1 με 1,5 μέτρο που λαμπίριζαν στο φως του φεγγαριού με μια μαγευτική όψη. Κάναμε ένα τσιγάρο, μαγεμένοι από το τοπίο γυρίσαμε στο εργαστήριο de Madeira boards να πάρουμε σανίδια, στολές και τρέχοντας πίσω για λε γκλασιόν session στην παραλία με κρασί και μπόλικη τρέλα αφού η ώρα ήταν ηδη 11.00μμ- καί φυσικά ειδοποιώντας τον φίλο και hardcore φωτογράφο Ανδρέα Τσαμτσουρη (thanks bro).

Φτάσαμε ,φτιάξαμε τους προβολείς για να φωτίζουν καλύτερα, μια γουλιά κρασί και αυτό που ακολουθησε μέχρι τις 3.00μμ τα ξημερώματα ήταν απίστευτο... ζούσαμε ένα όνειρο ενώ ήμασταν ξύπνιοι !!!. Ζήσαμε μια πρωτόγνωρη εμπειρία νυχτερινού surfing στον παραδεισένιο κόλπο της Βουλιαγμένης -γιατί σημασία δεν έχει το που αλλά το πότε..

This past weekend one of Athens biggest annual events took place at S.E.F. arena...2012's ATHENS SUPERCROSS powered by MONSTER ENERGY is always a treat not only for bike lovers but an opportunity to see live a great show that you don't get to see everyday! Seriously,how often do you get to see head to head battles on dirt and guys flipping motorbikes on 25m kickers? So this year the organization was really good and the show took place with the classic heats race between greek and foreign riders,little kids race that was really fun to watch,bmx show with some of the best greek riders and of course freestyle that always steals everybodys attention!!!This year one of the best freestyle riders in the world, DC's Andre Villa came and along with FMX's style master Drake Mc Elroy and our own super talented Nontas Logothetis kept everybody entertained!!! text&photos by R.S.P

Μετά από πολλές αλλαγές στην ημερομηνία και την τοποθεσία, είμαστε έτοιμοι για το Music on Board vol.3. Φέτος το φεστιβάλ -που διοργανώνεται για τρίτη συνεχή χρονιά, από το μουσικό κατάστημα ΔΙΗΧΟ και το Fifty Fifty boardshop- θα πραγματοποιηθεί στο θέατρο Λιθογραφείον, έναν εντελώς διαφορετικό χώρο στο κέντρο της πόλης.Ο χώρος θα είναι ανοιχτός από το πρωί στις 11.00 για practice, ενώ τα skateboard contests θα ξεκινήσουν στις 5.00 μ.μ. και οι κατηγορίες είναι οι εξής: youngbloods, 16+, best trick και highest ollie. Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης θα προβληθεί για πρώτη φορά το ολοκαίνουριο επεισόδιο "locals checkin'", ενώ τη μουσική θα αναλάβουν γνωστοί djs της πόλης.Η είσοδος είναι ΔΩΡΕΑΝ.

Ο Βασίλης μας άφησε για τα Κανάρια πρίν λίγο καιρό αλλά μας έστειλε ένα μικρό update....." Ο χειμώνας μπαινει αργά τι φετινή σεζόν όπως όλοι εχούμε καταλάβει όχι μόνο στην Ελλάδα αλλα και στην υπόλοιπη Ευρωπη.Ενα απο τα πρώτα "decent" swell που μας επισκεύτηκαν στα Canaria την προηγουμενη εβδομάδα ήρθε από την πορτογαλία κ ήταν αυτό που ολοι είδαμε στο Peniche Pro τους top 35 να ριπαρουν ασταματητα."

Snowjim wrote ''It was all about a dream that came to be realised after one and a half month of filming only to be found that it was only a dream within another dream just before i woke up or at least that is what i thought so...'So sit back relax and enjoy the ride inside John Gekos' mind... Τη πρωτη θεση κατεκτησε ο Στεφανος παρουσιαζοντας ενα φρεσκο part με καλο επιπεδο skate και μεγαλη ποικιλια τοσο σε κολπα οσο και σε spot. Κερδισε ετσι πραγματα αξιας 400 ευρω απο τα Sublime.Οσο για τα υπολοιπα parts ξεχωρισαν του Σπυρου Τσαρουχα, Θαναση Φλοκα και του Μπομπου, απο τα οποια αποφασισαμε να δημιουργησουμε και 2η θεση για τον Μπομπο απο τα Λευκάδα ο οποιος επισης εστειλε ενα πολυ σενιο part με νεα κολπα εκπροσωποντας αξια τη φαση στη πολη του.
