Google Online Backup

2015-02-10T04:01:00.000-08:00

There was a rumor on the net and especially in the blogsphere (user blogs) about the Google offering online backup services and offsite storage of files called google online backup. It has been around since 2006 but has already become a reality.
Principles such hearing is warranted, since Google and other Internet companies have tremendous lot of servers that are used for database processing, and therefore their processors and memory almost exceeded, but with plenty of free hard disk space sitting idle. It was decided to create a service google online backup. It just makes sense to start putting that space to good use. From this fact and begins service google online backup.
When Google launched Gmail (its free web-based email service), they began to rise the bar for all email service providers, offering 1 GB of mail storage space, which was way more than a few megabytes offered by their competitors at the time. But the service google online backup can provide even more. When asked if they would actually be able to store 1 GB of emails for each user, they said that they can store much more, and they proved it by increasing the quota in Gmail (quota is the amount of free hard disk space the user can use) every day. In this service google online backup offers some great opportunities.
They also added some "increased space" of the proposals to interested parties that would pay a small fee in exchange for having a huge space for mail storage (Gmail users), photos (Picassa users) or online documents (Google Docs users), but they still do not have "space only" offers. But creating a service google online backup company is thinking about their users.

There have been some external hacks and approaches to benefit from huge selections Google in the space and use them to service google online backup, one of them Gdrive, a small program that takes a Gmail account and use it to store files by converting them into the mail-compatible format and partition large files into multiple e-mails. While it works pretty well, there are some restrictions, such as the size of stored files and the speed (while google online backup rid of it), because if you want to get the file using Gdrive, the program for the study of all emails used for storing data blocks for this file, download them and join them, before making "read" file. Google online backup, in principle, free from it.
Most Internet service providers are always aware of new businesses by Google, and the creation of google online backup is not left unnoticed. Since they know that Google is "a big giant, which has almost unlimited technological resources, as well as a huge expense account, so when Google decided to go to the online file hosting market, we will see many smaller suppliers struggle for survival. Nevertheless, although the company Google is huge, providing service google online backup, some small service providers will remain due to the policy to the clients and services provided.
Using the services of google online backup, you can easily store their data without fear of losing them.

Three Tips for Converting Dynamic Disk to Basic Disk

2011-05-02T04:34:00.000-07:00

By Mark Osborne

Along with the development of sciences and techniques, computers have become more common, and an increasing number of families acquired. With the passage of time, computers will become more and more familiar to people. Occasionally, they may change the basic system drive to a dynamic drive because of their improper operation. When changed, a few mistakes will come out. For instance, you can not run the system, to make things worse, blue screen of death, or BSOD for short, will cause you to feel bored. That's why I want to tell you the strategies to resize dynamic partition.

First of all, the simplest method is to get rid of the whole volume of this disk. However, if the system disk is your system partition, we can not remove it and how to do? We are able to work with an additional hard disk or a USB device to set up an operating system inside the disk, then start up pc through the system and get rid of all the partitions on the previous disk, which means we're able to convert a dynamic system disk to basic disk following a suite of complicated operation.

Secondly, this converting can be reached through some software, such as some data recovery and partition manager. But when we use this software, we should pay special attention. It is risky to recover our data. Some data will be damaged and can not be recovered. Meanwhile, it will take us a lot of time due to the large capacity of our disk.

On the basis of two ways above, we strongly recommend this software: dynamic disk converter. This advanced software will cost you only 2-10 seconds to realize the convert between dynamic system disk and basic system disk. The best advantage is that this software will not destroy your data in the process of converting. Therefore, you needn't worry about the security of your documents while you are using it. Last but not least, this software is easy to use. Every operation will has its own guidance and it just 3 steps. You don not need any equipment as assistance with it. These are the reasons why we recommend you chose the disk convert tool.

Admittedly, dynamic disk has its own advantages. But for the computer green hand or rookie, in case of something unexpected happen, if you have converted a system basic disk to dynamic, we recommend the dynamic disk manager to extend dynamic disk Windows 2008 for you because of the step by step wizard mode.

How and Why to Partition Hard Drive?

2011-02-23T05:00:00.000-08:00

By Mark Osborne

Disk partition, splitting one physical hard drive into several independent volumes--will be able to reduce all kinds of computer-related troubles, and because of the Disk Management utility incorporated with Windows 7 and Vista, it is easy to execute the work without expensive third-party tools.

A great number of PCs come from the manufacturer along with a single partition on their hard drive, which means that it shows up as one drive in the Computer window (as C:, usually). However , saving your data, applications, and operating system on a single partition can be dangerous because, if something happens to the partition's index file (the file that shows your computer where the various pieces of your data are placed), your computer won't be allowed to boot up off that drive--and in case you boot up with a recovery disc or external drive, you won't be able to access the rest of your data.

Partition hard drive generally declares your computer to deal with portions of that drive as separate entities. If you keep your system and apps on a partition separate from your data (documents, music, video, and the like), the data will be simpler to back up (because your backup utility won't bother to copy the system and apps, which you can reinstall from the discs or redownload from an online source). Additionally, you'll be less likely to lose your data in an accident; and if you ever have to reformat and reinstall Windows, you won't have to be worried about rebuilding your data backups.

Users with complicated hard-drive configurations, RAID arrays, or the Windows XP operating system will likely need more-powerful partition manager than Microsoft's Disk Management tool--Aomei Partition Assistant is a good place to start.

When you've cleared the specified space, it will show up in the Disk Management window as Unallocated Space. Right-click this entry, choose New Simple Volume, and allow the resulting wizard help you through the remaing steps of the process. Typically, you have to format the new partition as NTFS; and unless you're using this partition for archiving purposes, you won't need to enable file and folder compression for the whole drive. (If you choose to enable compression later, you can do it easily enough: In the Disk Management tool, right-click the partition and select Properties, Compress this drive to save space.)

By Oliver Ferrasci

In order to transfer the partition from a hard drive can be something that may be usually good to be informed about when you have to handle your pc. If you are hoping to build your computer it is possible that you at some point will need to deal with operations such as splitting up your hard disk into partitions and manage them. Two of Microsoft operating systems provide partition editors, nevertheless , their operations are very basic with regards to the functions given by well-known products especially used to deal with such operations.

As we know that both Windows XP and 2000 have disk management feature that will help process and manage basic operations and copy partition. If you have to carry out more advanced jobs then the supported options are hardly being enough and you need help from a better program. One main disadvantage of these two operating systems, with regards to copy a partition, is the fact that you cannot resize the partitions of your computer. This choice is absent.

A number of software you are able to try to handle this issue. You can purchase and complete the things you desire. A few contain functions made to keep your hard drive in good status. When you choose which program to utilize you should select one that will enable you to make, format, delete or copy a partition. The interface needs to be as user-friendly as possible, when you do not would like to handle complicated configurations which sooner or later can result in problem in your computer. The program should be employed by all Windows file systems including FAT and NTFS.

The foremost generally reason for people to use program to copy a partition is when they have got a new hard drive and need to update the computer. Then they do not would like to reinstall all the programs they often use. With a partition copy programs it can save you a lot of time with a easily setting up the hard disk into the computer and activating the brand new partition.

Usually the best upgraded copy partition programs always contain what is known as a "copy wizard". Which is designed with functions that direct you to complete the job easily. The programs can also conduct defragmentation operation which is a program that does increase the speed up of the hard drive when it read and write files of the hard disk when it is working.

As advanced disk management,Aomei Partition Assistant has numerous basic and advanced features apart from disk and partition copy feature. With Partition Assistant, you are able to create partition, delete partition, format partition, resize/move partition, extend system partition, shrink volume, split partition, merge partitions, wipe hard drive and partition, convert file system, hide/unhide partitions, set active partition, etc. All the operations could be finished without losing data!
